That really depends on Bitcoins price, Monero is more tied to USD right now so if .026 Btc is equal to about $125 then yes it may dip down there.

Those comments are predicated on the notion that all crypto are created equal endowed by their creator with certain natural rights which are common to all but this is not true. In fact all crypto are created very unequal, some endowed with marvelous potential which has yet to be realized, others with Ponzi fatal flaws, many of which have already fallen by the wayside. Monero will not fall by the wayside, because of the capabilities of its community of developers and supporters. Even when a serious flaw in Monero has appeared in the past it is always been dealt with in a disciplined and orderly manner, allowing Monero to overcome hazards which would have rapidly strangled any lesser coin in its crib. Today 40 XMR make 1 BTC, but when the economic potential of Monero is fully realized 40 BTC may make 1 XMR. "People" may not care about privacy, although they are fools if so, but they do care about fungibility, whether they know it or not. They also care about extortion, taxation, theft, embezzlement, and kidnapping. Monero protects you against these things while Bitcoin does not. If I were to produce a physical Bitcoin today the obverse would bear a vivid image of Cazes hanging by his neck in a Bangkok jail cell. So, yes, I am expecting 200 to 300 this year simply on the basis of speculation discounting future fundamentals, and 1000 sometime next year on the basis of the emergence of a new functioning darknet economy, and furthermore expect fomo to rapidly push that up to 2500 before that bubble pops. |

So happy Monero finally is starting to show its real potential. Have been a HODLer since $4, unfortunately I bought only a few at the time. I think Monero belongs in the #3 market cap spot, wonder how long it will be before the market realizes that?

Well, I do think it has already jumped up a few slots in the past week or so, which must mean it’s already gotten some recognition. Now let’s hope it just keeps going up. The current price is 128$. |

Its always interesting to look back at past action, and compare. Like BTC comparing the spikes to 32, 250, 1200. Each makes the last look insignificant. A year ago, the XMR volume was so high that it made all previous disappear from significance. I was just looking at this (USD vol) https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/monero/It's Happening! I think I'm gonna start using Gingers Bananas afa calling it, Does anyone have a clue why everytime it starts to take off it gets suppressed? you would think on these type spikes shorters would get crushed and fuel the spike but the bears seem to keep the lid on. It was time for monero to make a little retracement, it will probably hit $120 level and then go up again. That happens with every altcoin people, so you dont need to worry about that.
but yes, i think this is the perfect time for re-stocking your portfolio of a few moneros. I will buy 1 monero in the next hours, i think that is a good move at the moment.
It will probably hit two hundreeds before january, so that is easy profit.

If Monero can drop down under that price, I will comeback margin trade and putting all my money, lol ! I do not think Monero can dip below 0,02 BTC again like earlier of this year. I remember someone sayng here that it would be impossible to see monero bellow 0.015 again. and it did for several weeks. At that time it seemed very reallistic to see monero hold above 0.015 as it seems reallistic to see it hold 0.02 now... I think it's oversold right now, so i speculate on a drop down to 0,024xxx in the next days |
