1882  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin benefit of saving for a long time? on: November 21, 2017, 09:19:01 PM
why so many people store their bitcoin in their wallet for a long time, whether the benefits will they get?

Come share your thoughts

There's this saying that, "Once beaten, twice shy"; experiences gotten from scam sites is quite much and people did better prefer to just monitor the growth of their Bitcoin than rather give it to a website for business which can't be ascertained. Well, with the increments in Bitcoin price within the last 3months, I think it is worth what any investment package could have offered any persons. There is less risk when you have your bitcoin in your wallet.
1883  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin's profit on: November 21, 2017, 09:06:32 PM
I heard people said that Bitcoin's profit is higher than profit of drug dealer, weapon dealers or profit of real property or any kind of stocks. Is that real ?

Money is being made quite well from bitcoin investments but definitely can't be compared with profits made from drug dealer, weapon dealers. Those have actually been in existence long ago and have a certain coverage of unending supply. This reoccurs even with the government/law trying to stop them from existing. Their profit like they do say is "blood money". Quite large and only estimated without mostly not getting a precise figure for profits made.
1884  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ABJCOIN |Decentralized Blockchain Solution To facilitate Commerce In Africa on: November 21, 2017, 11:16:32 AM
This is first of its kind original originating from Nigeria; Abuja! I strongly think you should key into it. It is already in the trading at 1$. With the dense population in Nigeria and also the number of enlightened youths within and in diaspora, this coin is bound to sail through! #Abjcoin!
1885  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ICO][Airdrop] StockBlock - Copyright protection & Marketplace for Media Artist on: November 21, 2017, 11:14:45 AM
Nice presentations in expressing the idea. I do hope to get more updates. Success too all the way for this beautiful innovation.
1886  Economy / Economics / Re: Where do you spend your money from Bitcoin? on: November 20, 2017, 10:48:16 PM
Earnings from bitcoin has not really been worth something yet. But I will definitely be reinvesting more and more should I start earning well. Also, for the ones I want to putting my cash into, I did prefer recapitalization and when I get to the liberal level, I can start spending from proceeds made from profits. As regards spending, I prefer to spend to get something quality that won't be irrelevant  after a short while. Houses and cars can be in view for a longer investment in the future.
1887  Economy / Economics / Re: what will happen to banks? on: November 20, 2017, 10:34:47 PM
Since banks profit from fees and blockchain will kill fees, my guess is banks will be negatively impacted.
Some banks are already stepping into the blockchain world.
But blockchain will not bring back the profits as otherwise.
Any thoughts?
Apologies if this is not the right place to discuss.
Thanks in advance.

Just like the saying that says, " if you can't beat them, join them!" The blockchain technology is what is trending now and maybe a better advanced technology will out pass it soon; time will tell. The wise banks are already strategizing on how to incorporate the blockchain into their operations or betterstill, start moving their operations into the blockchain. I believe there are lots to be explored on this new phase. The banks that don't want to move may be put aside or parkup.
1888  Economy / Economics / Re: Does this mean Cash will be extinct? on: November 20, 2017, 10:17:23 PM
Sweden is contemplating to stop using cash by 2023, does this mean cash might be extinct if other countries follow suit?

https://www.weforum.org/agenda/2017/10/sweden-could-stop-using-cash-by-2023?utm_content=buffer40bef&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer

I believe with time, cash might be withdrawn and be a thing of the past. By the time everything goes digital; like you might just need to do a finger print for payment or voice recognition or having a digital number recognition implanted in persons. This will totally restrain the cash to some settings and certain area of use and being limited to rural areas in some countries. So, the decentralization characteristic of Cryptocurrency will be maximally functional by this.
1889  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible for the bitcoin to lose it's value ? on: November 19, 2017, 10:50:38 PM
Hi , I'm new so basically I still have a lot to learn about the cryptocurrency , but I would like to know if it would be possible for the bitcoin to start the downfall ? I mean like what scenario can happen that the bitcoin would be pushed back like 5-6 years ?
Sorry if my post is in the wrong place or it's not relevant.

Bitcoin losing its value is a relative term; it has been losing values and regaining it since I have been able to study the trend. But if talking about losing value completely, it isnt happening because of the technology of the blockchain with which it is being fortified. Bitcoin get lower with forks also happening severally but it has regained its stand. The investment platforms in which the bitcoin is invested in are the ones that can be changed and it being the ones that can be termed and thought as to have reflection.
1890  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think billionaires invest in BTC? on: November 19, 2017, 10:24:59 PM
I just always wonder if those billionaires still invest in btc. Do they even know btc exist?

They are definitely into the Cryptocurrency just like they are into the stock exchange and forex. The earnings made from Cryptocurrency is quite large and there' s saying that it is the rich that does business. I have watched the likes of Bill Gates coming on air to talk about Cryptocurrency and also the likes of Warren Buffet. And the level of investment done by the billionaires is an individual opinion. They are the major external/ forces in the price regulation of Bitcoin and the Cryptocurrency at large.
1891  Economy / Economics / Re: Maybe governments can stop bitcoin after all on: November 19, 2017, 10:05:47 PM
This is a serious discussion. I mean, after I've seen how bitcoin (and other cryptos as well) got dumped badly after an irrelevant law that makes ICOs illegal. I can only imagine now what would happen If more countries do the same thing and It could get worst by make itself bitcoin illegal. Whether we like to admit it or not, most of people would sell everything they have once its made illegal, some may continue to fight the central banking but the sad reality is that as soon as people start making profits, they will dump it and move on.

The last I heard about the government of my country is that they had set up a committee to look into the Cryptocurrency and know how government can come in to make a proper regulation of it. I don't think they will want to try to stop  the blockchain and Cryptocurrency operations for now. They will want to swim in the pool of operations for a while; doing a study to know how it functions fully. The government coming in with the intention to put things in order.
1892  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the anti government on: November 18, 2017, 10:49:39 PM
I have realized that almost every body is anti government when it comes to bitcoin and be decentralized or not being controlled by government.  Grin

The government themselves are not somewhat happy that the people are finding a way out to source a living and not through them. It is a threat when the source of earnings of the masses elude them. They feel the most that citizens are meant to be loyal to them and beg their way through to get what they rightfully deserve. And the issue of not being able to tax earnings made from Cryptocurrency is a real concern too. I believe with time they can work and find their way through proper dialogue.
1893  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think bitcoin ever be safe for any investment ? on: November 18, 2017, 10:40:28 PM
Bitcoin is actively a means of investment at the moment and also a source of earning passive income. The question of if it is safe or not is dependent on mostly two factors; the reliability/reputability of  the investment package and also the experience of the investor to determine and source for the right investment programme. And let's also understand well that the Bitcoin trading is a volatile one that needs to be threaded with care for newbies; except they leverage on experienced persons/groups.
1894  Economy / Economics / Re: New rich people thanks to BTC on: November 18, 2017, 10:29:35 PM
Definitely, new rich persons are emerging with the light of Bitcoin and its numerous opportunities. I have personally seen persons that don't even have the hope of making a future but with the arrival of the bitcoin, it has given a new leverage and opportunity and a secured tomorrow for them. People do get to ask, what do you do really for  living and you point them to bitcoin. The new rich is now being noticed with a change in status and lifestyle.
1895  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1Btc=$10000 on: November 17, 2017, 05:11:47 PM
Don't you think Before December.a bitcoin could actually hit $10000

I have been a supporter and have the believe that 1 bitcoin will soon be hitting the $10,000 mark; before January 2018. But with the hitches that occurred severally in the past 30 days, my believe has weakened. Also due to the fact that the Analyst I heard from has somewhat mellowed down in this believe trend. Well, the $10,000 mark can still be made possible with the control/help of external factors. They can decide to push it to hit that mark at anytime they want. I also believe with the increase in rate of people coming into the Cryptocurrency world, it will definitely help push the value to that mark. So, the worth increase is somewhat proportional to the rate at which bitcoin is being adopted.
1896  Economy / Speculation / Re: I BUY GOLD OR BITCOIN? on: November 17, 2017, 04:43:11 PM
I would buy both for keeps as an investment. Bitcoin investment is more exciting, busy, volatile and very lucrative compared with the gold which is stable in its worth. I did do more of Bitcoin and use profit made from it to purchase gold. The Cryptocurrency market helps keeps one busy and thinking too. The better to have something that is quite active in the technology stream to keep up the trend of business. So, both are good but the synergy is better too.
1897  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people attract for the BitCoin than other crypto currency? on: November 17, 2017, 04:32:16 PM
Please give your opinions.

The first coin that come to mind whenever Cryptocurrency is being mentioned is bitcoin. Even when you make mention of the blockchain, bitcoin comes playing out in the mind. Bitcoin has become the center of attraction and at the focal point when coins are being talked about. At the moment, its high value has given it more attraction. Like for me, when I get to talk to someone about Cryptocurrency, I show them the value history of bitcoin; which is quite mind blowing and captivating. So, I strongly believe that for a coin to have more worth than the USD and GBP, it is worth the attraction.
1898  Economy / Economics / Re: Why people scam on: November 16, 2017, 10:39:45 PM
The reason why people scam others can be due to so many reasons. Scamming has been quite old and as far as the digital age is here with its technology, new levels and ideas of scamming is also developed. It is even a way of living for some persons. Scamming is also being mirrored by people's greed and excesses. Some people justify the reasons why they scam saying there are no means of earning real money and they go on living in the right mind.
1899  Economy / Economics / Re: Amazon and Bitcoin on: November 16, 2017, 10:15:50 PM
Do you think Amazon will accept bitcoin (in this year or next future )?

It will be a nice development if and when Amazon will finally adopt bitcoin as a means of payment on its site. With the talks, I had thought by now they must fully incorporated it fully into their site. Amazon is a leader in online store market. So, if they adopt the use of Bitcoin, they will set a standard for the other online store coming up. And also, means of payment made easy with the use of bitcoin. I did wait for it and also believe it will help in informing /educating a new area of persons.
1900  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: crypto Currency is making people millionaires all over the world on: November 15, 2017, 10:20:50 PM
2020 millionaires all  over the world Grin Grin

As much as this is true, some people have also lost and got their hands burnt in the process of engaging in hyips. But the truth is that Cryptocurrency has made a lot millionaires easily than they would have ever dreamt of. The key thing I would say is availability to information. This will help one position his/herself where the right earnings is being made. With time and working smartly, the millionaires for 2020 is attainable.
