1921  Economy / Economics / Re: Can bitcoin improve the economy of a country? on: November 08, 2017, 01:48:06 PM

Today many countries accept bitcoin as a virtual currency, is it because bitcoin is so high that they think bitcoin can change the country's economy, or because the country has many bitcoin users already?

Yes, bitcoin can help improve a country's economy. When the rate of unemployment is being reduced with people now making earnings from proceeds of bitcoin, it will invariably alleviate poverty and unemployment of the nation. If a man is being able to fend for his home and even reach out help conveniently to relatives then we are talking of a proportional stabilized GDP. This with other investment companies can crop up to boost the economy of the nation.

1923  Economy / Economics / Re: If bitcoin price is $10.000, will fiat be worthless? on: November 06, 2017, 09:36:28 AM
In one of the topics I read "If bitcoin will reach $10.000, fiat currency has become worthless"
Do you agree with this statement?

The fiat and the Cryptocurrency are in two different worlds entirely and with different rules of operation. As much as the bitcoin value increase in the Fiat equivalent, it is like a good news for most persons and means good profit making. So, it is only a perspective saying it makes the fiat currency worthless when it is very much in in use and relevant. The only time the word worthless can come to play is when and if the Cryptocurrency takes over the normal means of exchange of buying and selling.

What is the best way to make money with bitcoin in 2017?

As a newbie on this forum, I did expect the proper understanding of earning Bitcoins comes with real patience and not a get rich quick thing. It is quite enough that one is just getting to know about the wealth opportunities in Cryptocurrency but it is still true that you are an early adoptor too. This forum gives you the platform to earn while you do social bounty and signature campaigns for ICOs and with smart work and perseverance, you will start earning something worthwhile in good time too. Except you have some cash to start off with investments; buying into prospective ICOs then you can start making profits in a short time.
1925  Economy / Economics / Re: Which one is good, trading or investing? on: November 06, 2017, 09:18:18 AM
I did suggest you get a grounded knowledge in a good training on trading before embarking on it at all because if you are not good enof, there will be irreparable loses. Also, if you want to invest, you do a good background check to know which of the sites to invest with. As a beginner, I suggest you put your Bitcoins into investment or hold in the wallet while it rises with the bitcoin rise. You can then start training on how to trade effectively because trading yourself is more profitable and you also get to control your earning and loses too.
1926  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin may not be number one for long on: November 05, 2017, 10:07:09 PM
I thought for sure it would take until the end of 2018 but it looks like this summer ethereum might pass it up. With the turmoil around BTC potential splitting, it might be very soon. IMO this is healthy, we will always value bitcoin for being the one that started it all, but it's time for a more dynamic and adaptable currency to take the lead.

The rising in value of the Bitcoins has been speculated and  projected, even to hit a mark of 10',000$. And also, some believe it will devalue greatly. The other coin that will take over is definitely worked on and I do disagree that ethereum will outrank the bitcoins, maybe some other time. As much as there are lots of ICOs, I believe they are also making the market stronger and weakening the altcions. Thereby making the value of Bitcoin to increase and  leaving the other altcoins to struggle behind.
1927  Other / Off-topic / Re: What's your way of spreading Bitcoin knowledge? on: November 05, 2017, 09:40:28 PM
Personally, if I'm in a coffee shop or any store with some people, I pull out my wallet and subtly show them my Xapo debit card. Then they get curious on what kind of card is that since it doesnt look like the usual Mastercard or creditcard. Then I explain it from there on.

What's your way of spreading Bitcoin knowledge? Smiley

My way of sharing the knowledge has been of somewhat effort and did make some physical evidence of earnings made from a lending programme; they say seeing is believing. I have also been able to convince some with respect to have a change in status quo; regarding finance. The rate of unemployment is really so pronounced and here is something you can do to educate yourselves and also start earning a living from. We also have the means of setting up chatroom for this purpose.
1928  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is holding bitcoin Greedy? on: November 04, 2017, 10:52:01 PM
Hodling bitcoin is not a greedy idea but also an investment plan. But it might appear a greedy thing with the way the price has sky rocketed within these few days. One cannot imagine the profits being doubled in thousands in this few days and also bearing in mind the 10,000$ being projected by the market. So, hodling bitcoin is really worth it now b4 it dives down again. So, please hodl if you have to
1929  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Government. on: November 04, 2017, 10:42:16 PM
Is it good combination about bitcoin and our current government? lets talk about this things if these two option was combined in the future, Our government used bitcoin and spread to every people in there countries. For me it is good. why?

Because:
1. Is good for all businessman for good transactions. Buy something and sell something.
2. Is good for payments needs to pay like billings every month.
3. For less time and moved for travelling on anywhere we want.
4. Its easy to transfer money from other country with less taxes. this favor is aprove for ofw's
5. Easy to transfer money if they needed immediately like emergencies. pay for medicine.

Theres a lot of good reason.

As much I did agree in the synergy, I did like individual governments do a comprehensive research and to know if they can run And operate with what the blickchain/Cryptocurrency has to differ. And really, the advantages will definitely outweigh the disadvantages. Things are meant to be done with ease and faster too. I also did heard that government is not able to tax earnings made via bitcoin so they ain't rlly cool with this too.
1930  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I Invest On Bitcoin Before Upcoming Hard Fork? on: November 04, 2017, 10:31:40 PM
Hi everyone, I have booked 1k profit from bitcoin with my small investment. Yesterday price fall made me to sell bitcoin and now the price is much more and it recovers it's position, do you think it will go up or down before, on or after hard fork,.

There is a high likely hood that the price will be diving down. And as such make room for new investors to cone in. With the forth coming hard fork, there will be a reduction in the value and after which it will pick up again and rise above it was. The speculation that it will hit the 10,000$ mark is very possible and if not totally before the sharp fall. So, there are three openings: when the fork happens immediately 2 . You can still still buy now and hodl 3. Wait patiently till the major fall.
1931  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should people use Bitcoin? on: November 03, 2017, 11:30:55 AM
Just as said that Bitcoin is the future, then the use of Bitcoins means you are being conversant and relevant with the future. Someone said that being current is the currency of life and that if you are not current, you cannot be spent! I will suggest that the barriers and shades be removed and let people get in the know and have access to this discovery and understanding/knowledge. There are several other ways the blockchain technology can help which is yet to be explored too.
1932  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin finally legal in India on: November 03, 2017, 11:22:45 AM
It is good to know that India has joined the list of countries legalizing the ease of use of Bitcoin; accepting fully the blockchain technology. The country itself with its large population is awesome to find them embracing technology and seeing the citizens up and doing on the internet; especially the social media and now the Crypto world. I do hope other countries, especially in same category with India will take time out and learn so as to improve on their mode of operations in the country system. The use of the blockchain technology is quite versatile, I say yes to change and newness in technology!
1933  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did you first hear about bitcoin? on: November 03, 2017, 11:09:36 AM
Are you a bitcoin fan?
Do you spend a lot of time on bitcoin? Reading news, trading, or even writing your own analysis.
But how did you first hear about bitcoin?
Is it some articles you read about? Or just from a friend who has traded bitcoin for a long time?

Share your experience with us. Grin

I think I got close to getting to know about bitcoins because of my cravings to earn more; have a passive income. I got introduced late last year and really did not get to invest much. At this point I would say I am more than 50% knowledgeable about it. I did love to get to know more; delving into extra details if possible. I will say, it has been quite demanding, time consuming really. When you know what you are doing in here, it gets to be more exciting to discover more especially when you are getting good at it and earning also as a reward attached to it. This is brilliant!

Good to know that an idea has sprouted in the area of calls for the Cryptocurrency area. We did learn more as time goes on to the unfolding discoveries to learn more.
1935  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you surprise by bitcoin price now? on: November 02, 2017, 10:10:00 PM
October 29, 2017 Bitcoin price ranges from $6,000 - $6,100 and today, bitcoin price is now $7,000. Are you surprise?

I think, if only those people who planning to invest in bitcoin manage to notice this sudden increase. I think there is a high chance that they will start investing.

I am not really surprised at the current price because I have heard clearly from the Cryptocurrency experts that they are gunning for the 10,000$ mark. So, the current price is only a passing phase. What I do wish is to really be on the earning side when this finally happens. As much as I can't really place its real timing to hit the mark but it is in view and very much achievable. And all is at work to make this possible. Though there is a some persons thought that it will have a sharp fall soon too
1936  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why some country banned bitcoin? on: November 02, 2017, 09:54:09 PM
why some country banned bitcoin?
is there any problem? i know that bitcoin is international crypto currency. but why some country banned this cryto?

The reasons why some countries banned bitcoin/Cryptocurrency are not far fetched. Basically, the control isn't regulated. As much as the blockchain technology brings a lot of opportunities and advantages, its demerits go hand in hand. But we cannot because of the bad sides avoid its relevance and great help it has cone to bring to us. A lot of countries are still trying to catchup with the internet and now the block chain! But at the moment and as time goes on, change is inevitable. We can only but learn, relearn and also unlearn.
1937  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you believe in god? on: November 01, 2017, 04:28:40 PM
Do you believe in god? If you do, why do you believe? (give a few reasons)

I do believe strongly that God exist! I am his creation and I do see his impact in my life activities. He lives in me. The bible also helps confirms this through the Holy Spirit in Romans 8:16... The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit that we are the children of God.
1938  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your strategy for the upcoming fork in mid November? on: November 01, 2017, 04:23:58 PM
Excuse the thread if the question has already been asked. I'd like to read what some of the more seasoned BTC hodlers are doing for the mid November fork.

So far I've seen a confirmation from Coinbase that they will credit BTC holders with an equal amount on the new blockchain. I'm assuming that other exchanges will follow suit.

The question is, will you stack BTC up in preparation?

I will really love to participate in the forthcoming bitcoin fork. Just need to ensure that all Bitcoin wallets are made to comply with the regulations being given. The wallet I operate with didn't support the fork that happened in October and it was really bad. I also got to know about some disparities in the exact timing when it was to happen; the exact time in GMT should be properly communicated. And I do also think that firm projections should be given as regards forks; not the assumptions being paraded by different channels of information.
1939  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I Wait or Invest On Bitcoin? on: November 01, 2017, 04:09:11 PM
I am newbie on bitcoin, recently introduced with the community. I have seen a lot of positive feedback about bitcoin investment. I am not interested do business or trade on market. I want to used it for long term investment only. Some people suggested me anytime is good for invest on bitcoin but I want to do it wisely. If you have some idea of the market and analysis kindly do it for me.

As much as they do say that whatever goes up must come down; with respect to the market also. There is a strong projection that the bitcoin price is still going to hit the 10,000$ mark! As at today, it is still about 6,500$. This means you can still come in and buy for the pure purpose of hodling like you intend to. And I do hope when you come in you will learn more and like to venture into other areas of investment too.
1940  Other / Off-topic / Re: What wallets do you use? on: November 01, 2017, 04:02:07 PM
I use Luno at the moment for my bitcoin and the MEW for ethereum wallet. I think Luno is relatively fair with respect to not too large transfers. I won't recommend them for smaller unit transfer because the transaction fee can be above the amount you will be sending; happened to me last week and I was really crossed about it. Aside this, I do have the normal block chain I opened when I newly got introduced to bitcoin late last year. It isn't at the moment that functional and did hear people complaining about its high transaction fees.
