Antes de elegir un intercambio, hay que comprobar varios puntos:
- Legalidad en el país:
Asegúrate de que el servicio esté disponible en tu país, hay intercambios que no aceptan clientes de según que países, normalmente tienen una lista aceptados/no aceptados.
- Conozca su cliente:
Este será el primer paso, darles toda la información que nos piden, tienen un gran interés en conocernos... y nos pedirán muchos datos, se conoce como KYC (Know Your Costumer) Conozca su cliente.
- Metodos de pago:
Los intercambios aceptan varios métodos de pago, los mas comunes son transferencia bancaria, tarjetas de crédito o paypal, la mas económica la transferencia bancaria, el pago con tarjeta de crédito tiene comisiones mas altas.
- Tarifas por los servicios:
Cada intercambio varia en sus condiciones, donde nos aplicaran el cargo será (no todos) en las tarifas de depósito, tarifas de transacción y tarifas de retiro.
- Como esta valorado el intercambio:
Antes de confiar el dinero a un intercambio hay que hacer una búsqueda qeneral por foros, google, redes sociales buscando y contrastando información y respuestas de usuarios, cuando tenemos esta información mas o menos clara elegimos el que nos interesa y mas valoración tiene para nuestra inversión.
- Importante:
Recordar que los intercambios "no son seguros", para pequeñas cantidades cuando se empieza están bien, pero si la suma es importante (importante es la de cada uno) si el intercambio sufre un hackeo o se va a la quiebra va a ser muy difícil recuperar todo lo que teníamos en el, lo mas seguro es guardar vuestras monedas con las llaves privadas en los monederos (wallets) de cada moneda, hay wallets en software, hardware o en papel (paper wallet), es la única forma en que te conviertes en el único propietario de tus monedas, lleva mas trabajo, no es tan cómodo, pero es lo mas seguro.
Comento mi experiencia con algunos de ellos:
Kraken, tenia buena reputación en cuanto a seguridad, en 2017 la interface de trabajo se colapsaba continuamente y para aceptar o cancelar cualquier operación tenias que recargar la pagina varias veces y en alguna de las recargas te borraba la operación completa, un desastre ya no he vuelto mas, puede ser que ahora funcione mejor.
Bitstamp, para mi el mejor, pero claro esto va a gusto de cada uno, pero funciona muy bien y es rápido, la pega para muchos es que tiene pocos pares de comercio, pocas monedas.
Bittrex, Limitaron nuevos registros en el 2017, pero ahora están aceptando de nuevo, también dispone de muchas monedas.
HitBtc, Tienen una cantidad increíble de monedas para comerciar, pero el soporte atención al cliente es fatal.
Hay que diferenciar los intercambios donde puedes hacer transferencia con tu dinero y comprar Bitcoin o los que solo aceptan Bitcoin o Ethereum para comerciar, por ejemplo, quieres comprar una moneda que no esta en los intercambios que aceptan transferencia bancaria, pues la única opción que tienes es registrarte en uno que acepta transferencia bancaria comprar Bitcoin o Ethereum y enviarlo al intercambio donde esta la moneda que quieres comprar y entonces puedes hacer el cambio de tu Bitcoin por la moneda que buscas.
En todos los registros y verificación hay las típicas contraseñas que debes guardar en lugar muy seguro (no las guardes en el PC) y todos usan 2FA autentificación de dos factores, mas seguridad, es una aplicación para el móvil, cuando activas una cuenta te saldrá un código QR y una contraseña, copia las dos cosas y guárdalas fuera de tu ordenador, en la aplicación puedes agregar todas las cuentas que te soliciten 2FA, haz copia de seguridad, si no lo apuntas, las pierdes o cambias de teléfono y no las tienes, no podrás activarlas de nuevo y no entraras en tu cuenta.
Si estas en esta situación no queda otra que contactar con el intercambio hacer y enviar todo lo que te pidan para restaurar tu cuenta, demostrarlo lleva tiempo.
No pretendo que sea una guía de intercambios, me gustaría que en este hilo se comentaran las buenas y malas experiencias o dudas que tenemos al trabajar con ellos.

Como se dice habitualmente "Nunca cojas un cuchillo cuando esta cayendo" pero siempre hay excepciones, si veo que claramente esta bajando, pues con 15 o 20% del total me quedo fuera y lo espero mas abajo sin apurar mucho para no quedarme fuera, hay días mejores y peores, de todos modos no soy un buen trader tengo que verlo muy claro y para cuando lo veo claro mi recorrido es mucho mas corto de lo que realmente hace, seguramente si arriesgara mas quizás tendria mas beneficio, pero prefiero ser mas cauteloso y ganar menos o perder menos, que también se pierde. Lo que si recomiendo antes de hacer la operación es anotarlo con papel y bolígrafo, donde voy a entrar y donde voy a salir, es una forma de comprometerte contigo mismo y no ir esperando por si baja mas o sube mas, si alcanzo lo que tenia previsto cierro la operación. Many nodes, more decentralization, better for the network and for Bitcoin.
Rewards for having an active node, you do not have.
I get the reason for running a node, but I don't have the spare memory/computing power to do so--and there's no reward for running one, so I temporarily un-ignored this section and voted "no" because I saw your thread in Meta. Don't laugh at me or call me names, but I was experimenting with earning interest through PIVX and downloaded the whole blockchain and kept it running, and it just made everything else on my computer run really slow. I'm not a huge computer guy, don't own any spare laptops or anything, and my internet connection isn't the greatest, so I nixed that whole idea. As an aside, I think I bought the PIVX when it was around $3 and look where it is now: $0.49. So I'd like to say screw PIVX in addition to everything I wrote above. If, unfortunately, the connection to the Internet is indispensable, be it good, this is a difficult point to solve, I am sure that if I did not have these problems I would have an online node. https://bitnodes.earn.com/nodes/it says 9737 differnt types of nodes at time of posting if you then search for 1037 (tag that suggests running full node services) it says 6295 at time of posting thats 65% of nodes are full nodes and going back to the near 10k diverse nodes.. if you search out the current block height it says 5805 at time of posting thats under 60% that are uptodate of all nodes. which means that the 65% of full nodes are not all uptodate oh. also out of the near 10k nodes 30% of them are all hoarded on amazon, hetzner and digital ocean servers. meaning not decentralised. so the representation of decentralised, diverse, uptodate and fully validating nodes is more closer to 3k than it is to 10k Your answer is a good reason to encourage everyone to install a Full Node, I hope that this thread arouses curiosity and we increase the number. |

En las respuestas anteriores hay varios consejos importantes, vamos a añadir algo mas que nos evitara problemas en el futuro, una vez has decidido comprar Bitcoin y lo haces a través de un intercambio hay que ser conscientes que si no hacemos las cosas bien no habrá forma de solucionar posibles incidencias. Cuando te registras en un intercambio te solicitan que rellenes su formulario con todos los datos requeridos por ellos, nombre, apellidos, dirección, documento de identidad o pasaporte y normalmente una prueba de residencia de algún recibo de servicios a tu nombre con menos de 3 meses de antigüedad para comprobar tu dirección (agua, luz, gas que coincida con tu identificación) que demuestre que los datos enviados son ciertos, tendrás que subirlos tal como te indiquen, una vez el intercambio los a recibido te responderán diciendo si te aceptan o no, si no hay mucho movimiento en el mercado en un plazo de 5 a 10 días tienes el tramite hecho, si es que si, ya podrás enviar la cantidad de dinero que tengas prevista por transferencia bancaria, todos los intercambios en su pagina de ayuda tienen sus datos para que los incluyas en tu transferencia y la envies sin errores, si no recuerdo mal, la primera vez se envía una pequeña cantidad (lo veras reflejado en la ayuda del intercambio) se hace para tener la seguridad que la transacción es correcta, cuando veas la cantidad enviada reflejada en tu cuenta es que ya es operativa. Ahora lo que no hay que hacer, cuando el intercambio te pide las pruebas de identidad si no se ajustan a lo que ellos te están pidiendo con toda seguridad te denegaran el registro, que significa esto? pues muchas veces cuando te piden que escanees o subas una foto de la parte anterior/posterior de tu documento de identidad o de cualquiera de los que te piden, si no se ve con claridad quien es la persona o los datos, no verifican y te quedas sin registro, cuando piden una prueba de identidad ya hay intercambios que junto a la foto quieren que escribas en una nota tu nombre o documento o una frase que te da el intercambio para asegurarse que realmente eres tu, o foto con webcam, aparte que cada vez van ampliando la lista de datos que necesitan. Bien, pues cuando no verifican por un error nuestro en los datos y nosotros pensamos que es una tontería y eso no importa, viene la parte oscura que sale de tu interior y piensas: "bueno si tan solo es para comprar un poco de Bitcoin, mi dinero lo tengo en mi banco, no pasa nada, y pasamos a la acción incorrectamente, principalmente con las pruebas de identidad y servicios, "ok, vale, muy bien yo soy mas listo que nadie y con photoshop o un programa de edición cualquiera modifico la dirección, nombre o un recibo que no es mio pero pongo mis datos, lo envias y aceptan el registro, PERFECTO ya estoy registrado." Mal hecho, si algún día porque has perdido tu cuenta de mail, contraseñas, factor de doble seguridad, para entrar en el intercambio o por cualquier motivo tienes que demostrar que tu eres el titular de la cuenta del intercambio y los datos no coinciden con tus documentos, lo tendrás bastante difícil para retirar, transferir o hacer cualquier operación que requiera tu identidad real. Mejor tener paciencia y hacerlo como ellos dicen, te lo aseguro, si tienes que subir 5 veces toda la documentación la subes al final te verificarán. Ahora es un buen momento para darse de alta en intercambios, tienen poco trabajo el mercado esta quieto, si lo haceis en plena recuperación vais a necesitar mas tiempo y hay ocasiones en que cierran el registro para clientes nuevos. If we compare it with a Smartphone it was invented in 1992, the first good Smartphone came on the market in 2005, with a number of users of 2%, 7 years later 54%, 11 years later 81%, today no one doubts that a Smartphone be a very useful gadget, Bitcoin will not take so long.
I think that your ideas are good in this post; however, it seems a bit problematic when you are describing matters in terms of "we need" blah blah blah... Starts to sound like some kind of shilling piece that suggests that bitcoin has various deficiencies, when it does not. Even though you chose some awkward language to express your ideas, you seem to recognize that development takes time, and perhaps there is a bit more of an organic process that is taking place in bitcoin. Surely, bitcoin is in very early stages, and there are all kinds of developments and adoptions that are taking place and being experimented upon, so in that regard, many of us can appreciate that "rome was not built in a day."  Sorry, It can be my English level, "we need", I mean it has to reach the large mass of people and for this it has to be easy to use. |

I made this thread because I thought it was interesting to know how many Bitcointalk users have a Full Node online, I did a survey and an explanation of the advantages of having a Full Node, download links, help links and more. Well duh, because bitcoin is a govt created scam - a failed experimental solution to the inevitable outcome of the Triffin dilemma: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triffin_dilemmaBitcoin's real name is "Bancor". But it completely centralized immediately after release making it useless. Not that it would actually be possible to get people to accept imaginary, valueless tokens over gold and silver when the system goes bust even if Bitcoin actually had some type of fundamentals (it has none because transaction validators are designed to centralize). Metals are the Schelling point of money and none of these "Bancor" or SDR scams will ever work. People are going to demand payment in real money and the acceptability of all these fiat 2.0 bancor scams is going to be zero. And Bitcoin is not the only Bancor scam, they also have other garbage like Ripple too, and of course Goldmansachs backed Ethereum (RIP). None of these things actually work in a decentralized manner, so we'll be saying RIP to all of them eventually with physical metals destroying them. The price of gold is related to currencies, deflation or inflation causing volatility at the price of gold, etf, derivatives, funds, etc, etc. therefore it is manipulated. You do not convince me.
