21  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The 5 Rules that would have saved me THOUSANDS. on: August 22, 2019, 11:18:49 PM
I would also add to not purchase crypto on a creditcard. I wish I would have learned
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SCO Lab Launches on: August 22, 2019, 11:15:35 PM
I keep seeing the SCO pop up and being pegged against ICO and IEO. Will have to look more into detail on this
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Most undervalued & most promising coins of 2019 & 2020 (TOP 3) on: August 22, 2019, 11:03:21 PM
I would have a look into NULS imo. Check out all of their recent announcements and partnershipos: https://medium.com/@nuls/nuls-bi-monthly-update-sco-lab-launches-and-initiates-the-sco-11-8644140f1d8c
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MasterCard is forming its own crypto team on: August 22, 2019, 10:48:39 PM
I wonder if more than just Mastercard is going to form their own crypto team especially since most of those on Libra's advisory board seem likely to do so. Mastercard being one of them.
25  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What If Satoshi Actually Lost His Private Keys on: August 20, 2019, 11:56:54 PM
Satoshi is too wise to hiccup in something he created.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will SCO become the new 2017 ICO? on: August 20, 2019, 11:41:38 PM
i don't really know how the mechanism from this staked coin output (SCO) system mate
if i'm not wrong, this is just like the other staking coin, with different rewards,,, because the reward will be a tokens that created on Nuls blockchain, right ?
I'm not sure on how their model goes but they have two different listing.

https://masternodes.online/currencies/NULS-CONSENSUS/

https://masternodes.online/currencies/NULS-STAKING/

The one that has the label of consensus has a projected higher profit than the staking. But the capital needed is x10 more than the staking.

After reading their site it sounds like the staking model is more so for people to buy these coins at a lower price point and use them to 'vote' for promising projects. Kind of like a precursor to ICO
27  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are Virgin Bitcoins on: August 20, 2019, 11:11:16 PM
Can BTC be wiped and reconsidered virgin say by companies like Ciphertrace or the government if seized?
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin features on: August 19, 2019, 07:37:54 PM
Scalability and adoption. If there is a coin that is pushing the envelope forward through interoperability features or even making it easier to use for the general public is a worthy project to me. I really like what NULS has been pushing out with their coding modules and even their recent SCO announcement
29  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your favorite comfort food ? on: August 19, 2019, 07:32:03 PM
Anything my grandma makes which is usually some sort of german food. Spatzle or even a sandwich
30  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Machine Learning is Needed to Detect Money Laundering on: August 19, 2019, 07:04:27 PM
I don't know if anyone has recently saw the AML report recently published by Ciphertrace but I found it interesting in seeing the current landscape of money laundering and exactly why we should look into ways to help track. I have a feeling that mixers are going to become illegal especially after the Bestmixer incidence. We're going to see much more governments start to step in

31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Are airdrops profitable and worth my time ? on: August 15, 2019, 04:15:29 PM
Absolutely! I recently did the Dapper labs one to receive MANA for decentraland. Never thought I would get involved in this but it's super interesting and teaching me a lot
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / NULS Launched a New Reward Model on: August 15, 2019, 04:07:35 PM
I really like this idea NULS is providing to users that allows people to have a better understanding of the market before launching a product. The new staking service known as The SCO or Staked Coin Output.

If people are interested in a project they can stake their tokens towards it thus being a precursor to carry out a ICO and IEO.

The first requirement is for a NULS staker to hold 2,000 NULS. The staking nodes first validate blocks and then the NULS consensus nodes produce the blocks. The staker delegates their node into a consensus node for an SCO project thus earning the alternative token instead of NULS for the reward.

33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best privacy coin? on: August 12, 2019, 10:51:33 PM
Beam. They're making smart moves for compliance purposes. Will be interesting to see privacy coins future
34  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Dark use of Bitcoin on: August 12, 2019, 10:43:47 PM
This was an interesting point found by Ciphertrace regarding BTC and dark use:

“The results show that privacy coins are barely used in dark markets and at dark vendor sites (e.g. only 4% of instances involve Monero (XMR). Instead, Bitcoin remains the coin of the realm in this shady world, with BTC used in 76% of dark market cases and ETC used in only 7% of instances.”

35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / DEX.Top works with NULS on: August 09, 2019, 07:12:09 PM
DEX.Top is a decentralized cryptocurrency trading platform based on smart contracts. The platform adopts the ROC (Replayed On Chain) trading mechanism that leverages off and on chain ledgers.

Since they just launched their Public Chain 50 program I was excited to see their services offering storage and trading esp for NULS. What other projects on DEX.Top are you most excited for?

36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / NULS Hackathon Extends through September 20th on: August 08, 2019, 04:53:56 PM
With the release of NULS recent ChainBox allowing developers to build blockchains in under 10-minutes the team is hosting an Online Hackathon with over $500,000 in NULS prizes!

What is Chainbox? Imagine if you could build a blockchain within 10-minutes by watching modules  and no direct blockchain experience needed.

Module languages include, but are not limited to, C++, Golang, JAVA, JS, Python, etc.

I hope more devs give this one a go. Learn more at:

37  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best country for crypto on: August 06, 2019, 10:28:58 PM
My answer would be malta but it would be interesting to watch Japan unfold
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You can now build a Blockchain in under 10 minutes on: August 06, 2019, 10:22:54 PM
I have already seen enough platforms that are offering exactly the same, building blockchain within several minutes. You need to spend months of development to create a new great crypto currency and I do not know who would use such a service.

I would be interested to know which platforms are creating similar infrastructure. I have only ever heard of NULS creating a highly developed platform and allowing other businesses to follow along with modules to build a similar blockchain off of theirs
39  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump's anti-bitcoin stance. on: August 05, 2019, 07:48:38 PM
He's creating FUD which is something he's great at. My guess is he has no clue it's complexity
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The NULS Testnet has Upgraded from 1.0 to 2.0!!! on: August 05, 2019, 07:44:48 PM
Niceeee. Interested to see if anyone is participating in their current online Hackathon?
