181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: TRON and ETHEREUM on: December 13, 2018, 10:37:16 PM
I see TRON trying to gain traction pretty quickly. Either way the battle will be who can solve scalability. Another project to consider is MOAC for building dapps. I personally think the future lies in customizable, multi-layer blockchains. Just some food for thought.

182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / With basis gone, ampleforth (aka fragments) the standing algorithmic stablecoin on: December 13, 2018, 10:33:42 PM
We all heard the big news of basis going down today, so it brings into question: what happened?

At the same time, ampleforth (formerly fragments) announced their name change/launch: https://www.ccn.com/crypto-firm-fragments-launches-stablecoin-following-ampleforth-rebrand/

Thoughts on basis and/or ampleforth?
183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Havven extended their airdrop 3 days!!! on: June 28, 2018, 08:49:55 PM
This is really nice of them, the last day is June 29 (00:00 UTC). So there is still time for those who didn't register to get a 20% value in nUSD of their total Havven coins( which will be calculated at the value of 0.50$ per Havven).

thanks for the times. sometimes I get confused by all of these time zones. Did you guys see that they partnered with Bamboo?? Looks like they're even accepting havven's stablecoin for their token sale AND we all get like a 20-30% bonus
184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Defining decentralization on: June 28, 2018, 08:48:00 PM
All I have to say is that the article you shared was very insightful. Kain is right. the term is so loose nowadays.
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] HAVVEN — Decentralised and asset-backed STABLECOIN on: June 28, 2018, 08:47:21 PM
guys great job with your partnership with bamboo. been a big fan of the both of you guys and can't wait to see havven on the platform!!!
186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / World's first token sale to accept stablecoins!! on: June 28, 2018, 08:46:15 PM
Whoa just heard from havven that they partnered with bamboo, a micro-investment platform like Robinhood/Acorns. They are conducting their token sale and you can purchase their tokens with Havven's stablecoin. havven holders even get like a 20-30% bonus. here's the official announcement: https://blog.havven.io/bamboo-partnership-20-bonus-in-worlds-first-token-sale-to-accept-a-stablecoin-bf80218dd35f

I think this is really cool especially since everyone's starting to adopt more and more stablecoins. from my observation in the space, it looks like havven is really pushing the envelope with adoption such as their estore where you can buy apple products and their various partnerships.

Thoughts on this? Anyone look into Bamboo??

190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain of data privacy is coming on: April 22, 2018, 11:59:57 PM
I also looked into Algebraix and it's pretty promising. Have any of you guys signed up for their airdrop?

191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Battle of the stablecoins on: April 22, 2018, 11:44:29 PM
I'm personally a big fan of havven. their team, communication, initiatives, and goals are all great. The project itself makes the most sense in comparison to the alternatives.
192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: High Potential Crypto of 2018 on: April 22, 2018, 11:39:26 PM
Saw this awesome video by Martins Hacks and he covers havven. IMO one of the best projects this year. Here's the video: https://youtu.be/5D8Lt9HU6lM

Thoughts on stablecoin projects like Havven?

Good video to watch for but I'm wondering why havven doesn't make any noise here? But totally i will give an eye on it since it is been feature by an good influencer guy. But i wouldn't invest since research is best for this since maybe that guy is justing hyping that coin so that he can manipulate and pump it up.

what?? I see a lot of havven on here lol. Someone is always talking about eUSD and their estore launching this week....

DYOR, but havven is a solid one for sure
193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [AIRDROP] ALGEBRAIX - Permission-based advertising platform. Own your data on: April 22, 2018, 11:37:52 PM
i'm curious to see what else they announce...is their airdrop still going on?
194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] HAVVEN — Decentralised and asset-backed STABLECOIN on: April 22, 2018, 11:37:02 PM
Do i have the possibility to lock up the havven that i own to earn on transaction fees?

If yes, how do i lock up my havven?

hm, interesting question...I would ask them in their telegram group: https://t.me/havven_official1
195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what are the main icos you looking at for 2018 ? on: April 22, 2018, 11:34:31 PM
Been really into Algebraix lately. Permission-based advertising platform that pays you to watch ads while keeping your data privacy. Stellar team too. https://algebraix.io/

currently have an airdrop going on too where you download the app and keep what you earn. https://algebraix.io/beta
196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bosch + IoT Chain?! on: April 05, 2018, 10:17:19 PM
I agree our lives are rules by IoT devices. So much info being breached nowadays that projects like ITC are very much needed
197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Better hop on this bounty on: April 05, 2018, 10:13:35 PM
Dude thanks for sharing. I was actually looking for a sig campaign to join and this one looks really good.
When I read the wp, this one really sparked my interested. permission-based advertising and data sovereignty is going to be huge. I'm glad they solve this issue #deletefacebook
198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA vs IoT??? on: April 05, 2018, 10:12:20 PM
can we talk about how underrated iot chain is?!?! I don't get the hype around IOTA tbh. There's SO much potential in ITC for so many reasons. People just need to DYOR.
199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Havven gets listed on Kucoin on: April 05, 2018, 10:11:18 PM
This project was raised $30 million and the price of the token look stay strong in the this bearish market. I joined their airdrop and bought the token too in ICO, i look this project is good and they has big community to support it.

Same. I remember when that's all I saw everywhere: havven. Big believer in this project and I'm excited for what's ahead for them. Mass adoption here we comeeee!
200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The crazed battle for your attention on: April 05, 2018, 10:10:18 PM
I think it really brings up good points about the world of advertising and how that's evolving very quickly. He made a good point here:

"Effective permission-based networks like QVC on TV, Craig’s List or Yelp on the Web, or Groupon on mobile phones can and do exist — and they prosper. Permission-based ads work.

And it should not be surprising. Advertising is a natural aspect of consumption. Shoppers like to window shop, consumers like choice and advertising opens up a door to the possibilities. We shouldn’t feel the urge to slam that door shut."

As a consumer that faithfully uses adblocker, I see the need for this because while we are blockcing ads, we aren't helping the ecosystem, only damaging it. Gotta check out Algebraix
