261  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Casinos Want you to Gamble Responsibly on: February 04, 2023, 09:52:26 PM
I don't know about you but from what I have seen, they could care less if you lose money. the fact that they've designed bonus promotions to try and bring back gamblers that have lost money on their gambling site and entice them to gamble again and hopefully continue gambling shows you that they could care less if you have lost money. also, the "gamble responsibly" you see is most likely part of the regulation that they'd have to follow.
Some site are too focus on their possible profit and didn’t care that much if you lose with greed or addiction, but we are talking about the good site here who are encouraging their players to be more responsible and gamble moderately which I think is a good strategy. This might be part of the regulation but some site are taking this seriously because they truly care, try to read the terms and conditions or other FAQ about the site you’re playing with, you might see this one as well.
262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Shiba inu get to $1 on: February 04, 2023, 09:48:32 PM
Bull market is coming, and the hype for a meme token is starting to come back again.
Its good to see the top meme tokens still here in the market and able to survive the bear market but seriously, $1 is too impossible its like telling to go beyond Bitcoin which I believe will never happen. SHIB is a good meme token because of a good hype, probably a new ATH in the next bull run but it will not on the price of $1.
263  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: February 04, 2023, 09:08:19 PM
If Bossing will not make a big run in the 3rd quarter, then this game is already over before the 4th quarter. Their import is contributing as usual, unfortunately, the locals have some problem in producing points. I would say this is a big bounce back of Meralco after losing to the Terrafirma Dyip.

They had a mini run in the 3rd quarter, they actually won that quarter but in the 4th quarter, it's the Meralco who took over the game. It's a blowout win by the Meralco Bolts, their import had a double double but it was Maliksi's good 3 point shooting that gave Meralco a huge lead. 6-10 from beyond the arc, that's something.
That was a great run but not enough to beat Meralco, they are on fire and had a huge lead to take the win.
They still have the problem with their local players, they are not playing pros here after many conference, they are still on the same level of gaming. I expect them to improve though, their import is good but its not being utilized and without a help from the locals it will be hard for them to have another win.
That’s true, without a help of the local players it will be hard for them to face the top teams.
Their import is just doing his job to play his best every game and so far he’s doing good, what is lack with them is that they are not consistent and have a poor plays and strategy, they should address this one as early in this conference, they can have a good run if they will play more consistently. Meralco just won here perfectly, they aim for it.
264  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The best time to buy bitcoin. on: February 04, 2023, 08:53:15 PM
I will agree with OP that we are still in the bear market but it not as dip as it was in 2022. This time it is not just the dip we are aiming to buy because it might not occur again. Until another ATH is reached. I will simply stick to DCA and take profit when i think the price looks favourable.
There’s still no confirmation of a bull trend so technically, we are still down and the price right can still change. Doing DCA is good because ATH will always happen with Bitcoin, time can tell and the price is still cheap if you’ll look at it for long term. The best time is when you have extra money already and when you are already willing to take the risk, you can buy more Bitcoin with this.
265  Economy / Economics / Re: I don't see this changing anytime soon on: February 03, 2023, 09:57:26 PM
Binance leaving the market? Can you imagine this it will be a big panic and of course people will be more hesitant to start their crypto journey because big exchanges are leaving the market.

You’re not that evil but you’re just over thinking, CEX will stay and will continue to compete with DEX like it or not. What happened to FTX can still happen though and this is a reminder that we should not store any crypto for long term on ang exchanges.
266  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The 4 trading fears and how to overcome them on: February 03, 2023, 09:23:51 PM
Trading is always accompanied by fear but we should know how to deal with them. It's fine to feel afraid at times because we know that the possibility of losing will always exist in trading. What we should avoid as much as possible is the fear of missing out because it might only lead us to wrong decisions which can result in regrets later on. Those who fear being missed out are those who usually listen to what the majority say or do without even doing research first.
Being too emotional in trading might be more risky, you have to set-aside this and focus on the goal that you’ve set. Fears are normal but treat that one positively so you can know what to do and how to overcome the pressure of the market. FOMO is not good, it looks like you are being hyped without even analyzing the market, as a trader its your job to analyze so don’t get tired of it.
267  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Web3 Resort in Siargao?

I'm also thinking if they will only accept cryptocurrency or more on fiat money paren sila when it comes to booking payments. Gustuhin ko man maginvest pero hinde paren sapat ang aking ipon, anyway if ok na ang project na ito I'll make sure to visit this villa and experience their crypto  friendly villas and restaurant.
Sa tingin ko marame ang nagkakainterest dito, ay they are planning to have another sale which I think can give more access to the investors, though dapat may limit lang den sa minting so they can preserve its value and make it more profitable para sa mga early investors. Ok na investment ito if they can run this business smoothly at syempre ok kung may extra ka panginvest. Magandan yung idea to accept crypto sa mga transaction dito, sana magkaroon sila ng other affordable option.
268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP - yes or no? on: February 03, 2023, 09:05:58 PM
I’m not against XRP, i just don’t feel getting involve on this
XRP will never win the case against SEC, all they can do is to settle this issue which I think can still influence the price of XRP. x15 might only be possible if they already settled this issue and if Bitcoin is already on its peak. DCA is a good strategy but of course be mindful with the risk and be ready for that.
269  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Charitable Casinos on: February 03, 2023, 08:46:59 PM
This is the first time I've heard of a charity casino. If you think about it, any casino can do charity work. All you have to do is donate part of your profits to a good cause. I think it's a good initiative. A gambler losing money in a casino helps people. Sounds great!
They have this kind of outreach program and supporting the community, though some site are not disclosing it especially with crypto gambling site. If there’s a casinos that is purely about charity then for sure there’s a limit on how much you can earn so they can be more effective. This is a good initiative and of course, good for the people who are in need of something. Haven’t tried playing on this kind of casino but I’m willing to play of course.
270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bithumb CEO arrested on: February 02, 2023, 09:44:31 PM
This is a big accusation and can result to a collapse of this platform, the team should assure the public the safety of their funds since this is not a hack problem but a greedy problem.
If you have cryptos on this site get it now but don’t panic, transfer it to your secured wallet. Anyway, I don’t think the whole market will be affected by this news as we are already rising but there’s still a possibility if this issues will be affected their users, hopefully the up trend will stay strong and will not be affected by this negative news.
271  Economy / Economics / Re: Throwback - Tesla lost $204 million in Bitcoin, but learn the lesson from this! on: February 01, 2023, 09:51:02 PM
Probably Elon has something to do with this, Elon should not making any noise agains Bitcoin itself if he really wants to make money, what he did is more about spreading lies and hyping a not so good project. This can be a costly mistake for the whole Tesla itself, but if they are still holding it I don’t see any losses on that in long term. Perfect timing and right analysis is the key to succeed here, doesn’t mean you have the money to invest you’ll not do your analysis anymore, let’s learn from this one.
272  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How Visible is your trading plan on: February 01, 2023, 09:37:53 PM
I do not need to have my trading plan (strategies) written anywhere when I have it within myself, gotten from experience. I do not write anything down about trading learning process, I know what to avoid, I know what to do, I know how to risk little, I know indicators can fail etc.
This is the result of having a good knowledge about trading, you can understand the trend and act accordingly based on your target plan and based on your strategy. Writing done you strategies might be a big help but to some its hassle so they created their strategy like this. Though I believe monitoring your transactions are still ideal, personally I have my track record of my trades and it motivates me to be more productive.
273  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Doxxed team can help a new gambling platform? on: January 30, 2023, 01:28:59 PM
.....
But I am still required by law to publish my personal information in public records as the CEO of the company. Why should an online casino be any different?
All types of companies are already required to submit their personal information to regulators are they not? Those records are not readily available to the public and they have to make some request before they can get it from what I know. The difference in what the OP is trying to do is that they're planning to release info that's probably beyond what's required by law.
I just look at the details of other site and you can just search for their registered name and you'll see their license information and their registered address, unfortunately I didn't see the name behind the project and I guess this is for their confidentiality and maybe they also want to remain anonymous as they offer a KYC platform. If OP is trying to look for a details that should remain private, I guess he will not succeed on this. If you are planning to put up a casino, telling who you are might not be enough to market your casino, so better to focus on your marketing strategy while strengthening the security of every players.
274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What makes a crypto project reliable and trustworthy ? on: January 30, 2023, 01:17:33 PM
Bitcoin is the King of cryptocurrency and most altcoins are way less qualified in terms of credibility, fanbase, high returns with minimal risks etc. I am trying my best to analyze altcoin projects but the results are not pleasant. What makes an altcoin really trustworthy ? And why ? Please let me know your opinions.
You can't fully trust any project even Bitcoin because this market is very volatile and anything can happen.
Don't look on where you can trust for long term, try to look for the opportunity on making money and you'll see a lot with the altcoins market. This market offers a lot of opportunities, don't settle with your emotion and just follow the trend, making profit should be your top priority, don't get too attached with any project for your own safety.
275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Hit And Run Gambling - Can The House Be Beaten This way? on: January 30, 2023, 12:59:47 PM
Hit and Run tactics wont beat casinos. If someone thinks, that, for example, he can deposit, get a welcome bonus, play few 1.0x bets to meet wagering requirement and withdraw, and beat casino with, then he is wrong. With that, you can harm casinos profit for few hundreds, but there will always be on your place 5-10 other gamblers that loose. The casino will get its profit in different place. Casino and gamblers is like hydras head - you kill one head, two new appear. If there would be a way to beat casinos, there wont have them new opened every week.
As long as there are other players with that casinos, you can't just beat them.
Leaving the casinos right away after getting some profit or the bonuses is good but doesn't mean you beat the system because you might be tempted doing this with the other site and your luck might not be the same again. There's no way to beat the house, they always have the edge against the players and we have to accept that fact.
276  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Too accessible of online casino grows addiction faster? on: January 30, 2023, 12:40:48 PM
I think this argument is pretty accurate. Consider how much screen time of people increased since we have smartphones. Online casinos mean you don't need physically need to be in casino. So it makes casinos 1000 times more accessible to everyone that have laptop/smart phone and internet access. When one person wants to quit gambling he/she should stop entering that online casino. It is way harder to achieve than not going to casino in physical life.
Technologies are growing, this might be one of the disadvantage of technology but you can still avoid if you really want to.
Gambling becomes more accessible and gives convenient to those who are a responsible gamblers, if you think you can't handle your emotion and you become more greed when you visit a specific site, then better to do your best to control yourself and stay away from that site because gambling wont leave and they will still reach more people as much as possible because that is where money is, the house didn't care that much about the health of their players are they are too focused on their main goal.
277  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: January 30, 2023, 12:21:36 PM

In terms of Converged, they almost lose that game, just so happened that Mags import missed that shot and let Converged to survive and take their win, Congrats to everyone who takes both bookies favorite.

The last shot was well defended, although the import had the height advantage he was a bit bothered taking that last shot. IMO, it's not a high percentage shot, they could just go for an OT by driving the ball, who knows, if it hits they might also get a foul, so that could result to a win if they will hit the free throw.
Game decision is very crucial and with this, the whole team of Magnolia failed simply because Converge are doing great with their defense, they should not blame their import though because they need to have a better plays. Well, this is just their first game and I'm sure they can still adjust. Good for converge to be on a lead early this conference, let's see if they can sustain that because I'm started to rooting with them.
278  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there gambling games/sports that suits a particular gender the more? on: January 29, 2023, 09:51:35 PM
There are sports differently between men and women but as a bettor, its open for every gender and we all know the society that we have right now is very different and every gender are already acceptable. If you’re talking about a specific sports and the players then its possible, but in gambling there is no discrimination as long as you have the money to bet and gamble, you are always welcome on any site.
279  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this safe to say this about casino platforms on: January 29, 2023, 09:38:56 PM
Is it safe to say that casino platforms is running their business with users find only? I read somewhere that they pay winners with losers money, I couldn't ask him or her if a casino can start business with zero fund at hand, I know that most of them wired their system to favour them more ( lose more and win less ) , if not they will run out of business fast I belief, what do you think about this? Was I wrong about this? Come to think of this, there is no prove that they have some money to pay winners.
To put it another way, imagine you and your best friend are playing a game. And your friend makes all of the rules in this game. Also, suppose that instead of your best friend, it is a complete stranger. Assume the stranger's sole purpose was to make money. That is how casinos generate revenue. Poker is the only game where this rule does not apply.
If the site is working like this, winning on this site might be more harder and their fairness will be questionable. If you’re friend lose against you, probably you are earning his own money and not the site money simply because the site is not capable of doing this and that’s alarming. The site should disclose their capacity so the gamblers can trust them especially with the new site, they should afford to pay every gamblers when they hit the big reward.
280  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where to bet on Billiards sports? on: January 29, 2023, 09:23:04 PM
Efren Bata is a legend from our country. I've been trying to bet on his every game but I don't know where to. Bata is getting old his gameplay should be betted on online casino. Most of the available sport on online casino are international and world cup which has more players but I've only seen football and basketball, billiard and also chess should be added to because strategic/mind games is better to put some bet. Hoping that online casino will expand their game types.
Read a lot of news recently about the game, I just missed to place a bet because I thought its just a local tournament. Anyway, if there’s a site that offers this then I might get interested as well, Billiard is still a good sport and many are still playing this, I’m just wondering why there’s no site that offers this regularly. Let’s see if there’s a good recommended site here for Billiard.
