381  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you know on: December 30, 2022, 06:16:41 PM
I think when it comes to newcomer altcoins, tokenomics is very important. There are some inflationary altcoins out there, especially like defi coins. In normal situation noone would be interested to buy them because noone wants another currency to gradually lose its price. But yet features of defi coins made them popular and uniswap & pancakeswap are still popular with high cap. Developers should definitely be cautious, and make their token more desirable to buy/use.
If they are a legit problem, there should be no problem when it comes to development of the project since they know how to do it properly and they know what kind of services they are going to offer instead of making any hype and just go with the flow without even thinking about innovation. Every investors should know the utility of the project, this is my usual analysis before investing and I agree that most of the new projects are not that good.
382  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling For Fun - What Does This Mean To You? on: December 30, 2022, 06:06:03 PM
So over to you now, what does gambling for fun mean to you as a gambler,? As I know that this phrase might mean different things for different people, would like to know what your understanding is on this.
Gambling for fun will always depend on how you gamble and how you think about gambling, it can be about making profit to some or it can be a more spending to many, and personally I just gamble to spend my free time with a hope of making profit as well. Gambling is risky yes, this is why we should not take this seriously if you don’t have much money to spend in gambling, you might lose everything in gambling so better to have fun instead of making any stress.
383  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should you avoid anything funded by Alameda Research / FTX ? on: December 29, 2022, 09:32:02 PM
Even if they are good, I’m sure they can be affected as well so better to sold now than to lose everything. Though it might already too late as most of those altcoins are already on their bottom. Alameda is affected that much in connection with SBF and FTX, their integrity is damage already that’s why many are taking cautious with their investments. If I were to be asked, I will also sell even at a loss right now and just reinvest it with the good coins.

385  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: December 29, 2022, 09:14:45 PM
Japeth and C stand are very needed in terms of inside basket as we all know that they are good in offense and defense inside. But I think they need more go for tight defense as we all know that Bay Area still can have a good point. This loss must be the lesson of ginebra to know better in the next game maybe more three point shot and good lineup in the paint area they are needing to became stronger once again.

Japeth is not consistent yet, has not seen a good him from him, it seemed like he was intimidated with the size of the Bay Area, unlike in the all Filipino cup where only JMF is the biggest defender he will have to beat. This is different, Bay Area is moving the ball very well, there in and out offense is clicking and Ginebra has not made the right adjustment in game 2.
That’s why they lose on that game, the locals can’t help Brownlee that time and their biggest problem is the biggest defender of Bay Area. They have to adjust in game 3 if they want to take back the lead, it will be hard for Ginebra if they are going to give too much confidence for Bay Area, they can be more deadly as they already prove this many times this conference, game 3 will be more crucial for both teams.
386  Local / Pamilihan / Re: (FREE) PBA Finals Competition (guess the winner and the series score) on: December 28, 2022, 09:55:33 PM
Nagiinit na ang labanan and hinde magpapatalo ang Bay Area panigurado so I will go for the game 7 here pero syempre I will vote for Ginebra kase alam ko, kayang kaya nila itong ipanalo. So with this, Ginebra should be more consistent though, tiwala lang never say die nga sabe nila.  Cheesy

Ginebra - 4-3
387  Other / Off-topic / Re: Team USA will play in the Philippines for the FIBA WORLD CUP 2023 on: December 26, 2022, 09:57:32 PM
The seat price is quite expensive for average Filipinos, but I am sure in team USA games, it will still be fully packed. It is very seldom that we can see NBA players play in our country. Filipinos will surely save to watch the games live.

Betting-wise, it is hard to bet against team USA if they are not against teams coming from Europe. Moneyline for sure I will bet for team USA even though I know the odds won't be that attractive. Maybe bookies will give us attractive handicaps.
Even if that is expensive, I’m pretty sure the arena will be sold out and many will watch the game live. This is indeed a great opportunity to watch them live, and probably have a chance to take a picture with them. Playing against Gilas probably will be their easiest game but it doesn’t matter to many as long as the USA team will be composed of NBA players, it will be more worth it. Can’t afford this kind of ticket though, will just watch on tv and cheer for both teams.
388  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: December 26, 2022, 09:48:29 PM
Not sure about that, PBA announce it before that they will bring guest teams but for now they need to complete these finals and the upcoming FIBA engagements, might be possible that they are not bringing any updates yet regarding to this, but for sure if they have changes or if they will proceed to that original plan they will give updates.

I hope they do bring back guest teams after FIBA. And maybe they should bring just as strong as the dragons if not stronger. Having a strong guest team brings up the competitiveness of the Local teams. This also exposes the local team to a level of international competition. Maybe this program of the PBA could help our players reach a higher level in international competitions like FIBA or the Olympics.
Most probably they will have another guest team or Bay Area will stay.
This conference pushes every team up to their limit and do play more especially if they are against Bay Area and many fans love this idea as well. Most probably they have plans already but can’t make any statement yet since their focus is still on the finals and with the up coming FIBA.
389  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BANKMAN-FRIED PANIC GAMBLES TO REPAY DEBT on: December 26, 2022, 09:36:14 PM
^
-snip-
What surprised me the most was that he was placed under house arrest. I'm sure he has separate wallets where he keeps the stolen money.

He paid a 250 million bail, if I remember correctly. I am not sure whether he paid it himself or his family.
I agree with you, though, it is surprises me he was offered bail at all and probably still have some private keys worth of millions of dollars from his former clients, whose Christmas were ruined by him and his recklessness.

IRS and FBI better check his accounts as well, since he is likely a criminal.
That’s a huge money and losing 100 million to gambling tells a lot, SBF is not bankrupt yet and probably still have the money from every investors they have scammed. I don’t believe that he gamble to repay debt, most probably he’s a real gambler and just wanted to enjoy all his money. SBF should be held liable for what happened, the court should not let him bailed but since money is power, SBF is roaming around freely.
390  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: December 26, 2022, 09:26:06 PM
Thanks for sharing and don't forget to check emails and claim rewards as well as make sure to follow up Rollbit for more giveaways and events.
You need to check your mails at these times as most of the casino are engaging themselves in giving away different rewards to the players and Rollbit is actively distributing it as free spins and bets which you can claim and when you open your account you will see them on rewards tab if you have been eligible for it so wager with them while having fun.
I’ve been receiving a lot of promotions via email lately and I guess, they increase this option to those who are not that active playing on their site. If you are into bonuses and promotions, following the social media account of Rollbit is also a good idea, they gave a lot of bonuses already and on every platform they are trying to share a different one as much as possible. Every site right now is doing their best to attract new gamblers and to retain their old players, having a promotions can be a big help to them.
391  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where do you bet on wwe matches? on: December 26, 2022, 09:12:07 PM
seeing that there are a lot of adults watching it live in their stadium, I'd say, yeah.
Do you consider these people adults?
I think it's more like spending a day out with your children or with your girlfriend/wife and refresh your mind. I would love to have such a day out with my child if she wants. May be a day out with her and my wife to see the environment. But I will never buy a ticket for myself and spend a day for it where if that's football then I will be more than happy to go in the venue and support my team.
There’s always a mix live audience and many still want to watch this especially if they will not spend that much and yet they will see their favorite WWE fighting live. With regards to betting, I think there is no site for this since the matches are scripted and no bettor will take the risk for this even myself. Many still think that this is a real matches, but most of the matches now are very obvious that its scripted, so its not worth it to place a bet.
392  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: December 25, 2022, 09:53:04 PM
Congrats to the Ginebra fam for winning the first game of the series. Well, those that have watched the game live, those that were commuting experienced the traffic and rush holiday hour season.
Still, those that have enjoyed the game and saw Ginebra winning, it doesn't matter as you'll still feel the rush of the desire to see them win instead of going home having that lose.  Tongue
As expected, Ginebra draws a first blood and many celebrates their Holidays watching this live.
Traffic was always be there though, regardless of the season. Anyway, Bay Area seems to be more intimidated this time and got disturbed by the crowd, if they want to get some win here then they should be able to adjust and play their best strategy against Ginebra. Congrats to those who are able to place their bet, game 2 will become more exciting.
393  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who is to blame on: December 25, 2022, 09:46:41 PM
Is the requirement of KYC from online casino the reason that gives birth to online casino getting regulated? I mean in the past there is no regulation thing pointed to online casino but now all eye are on them for a must regulation if they want to keep their platform alive and functioning.
KYC issue might trigger the crypto regulation since the government wants to know who owns crypto and know who are not declaring it as their profit, hard to blame anyone here and maybe this is already part of the system as we continue to grow. Some site are still KYC free though even if they have the licensed from the government agency, but sooner or later they will ask for it and many gamblers have no more choice but to deal with it.
394  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hi i been doing binance futures for quite long time here is my idea on: December 25, 2022, 09:36:45 PM
I don't believe in this idea even though you claim to have good experience in futures trading. You should really be able to make your own profit on trading without expecting anything in return from anyone who follows your TA, but you are not really proving that success with 1 post via this newbie account.

I tend to avoid ideas like this and trade myself, and it seems like others should do the same and rely on their own trading strategies.
Some thread are like this as well and created by a newbies, I don’t know their real reason behind this but its looks suspicious though especially if they are claiming to be good and yet there’s no proof of profit being shared here. You can be a goos trader on your own without asking to anyone to follow you and pay you for some fees, real traders are working behind 24/7, and they are more focus on their personal growth.
395  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Licenses and Casino reputation on: December 25, 2022, 09:19:15 PM
Even some casinos have licenses, they're not exempted of being a scam. Especially those that have tokens and investment options like putting it on their bankroll.
You really have to be vigilant against them because you'll never know that they just made them look good through a license but their bad intention is still there.
Having a licensed is not a guaranteed safe site, there are still some site before that ended up a scam site even if they have the license either its a fake license or they failed at all. Curacao license seems to be the easiest license to get and that’s why most of the site have the same license to operate. Don’t know if they monitor every site under their license but I hope they can held them liable if something bad happened to the site.
396  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If your friend would tell you this... on: December 25, 2022, 09:10:00 PM
As long as I’m not liable for any loses, then I will accept the offer and I will just the usual strategy I’m using every time I gamble. I can put some money on a sports betting, and use some for a poker game. I will not gamble in an instant, I’ll ask for my friend to give me at least a week to make some profit with this money and whatever the result is, he should be more happy and never blame me for any losses I have made.
397  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: December 24, 2022, 09:58:23 PM
This is a big challenge indeed for Bay Area to deal with the bigger crowd which is against them at all, we might see them play on a different pressure here.

I see no and that's not a challenge for them.

From the very first game they played here in Governors Cup, they are playing against the crowd. That's expected already by them because they are a foreign team. These professional players are not surely affected by the large crowds even for let's say that 99% of those fans will side with Ginebra.

That big crowd will surely boost Ginebra's confidence but not a key recipe to winning.
Exactly, Bay Area seems unbothered about the crowd as they are able to surpass other top teams and make it to the finals, but playing against Ginebra will surely be different because of their aggressive supporters. Bay Area have to be more focus, this will be a long series and those who have a good perseverance and more consistent, will surely take the championship.
398  Economy / Speculation / Re: Could this be the bottom of Bitcoin? on: December 24, 2022, 09:49:22 PM
All I can say is do not try to find the market bottom because you will end up losing, we are just entering 2023 and the bear market is still active, instead of trying to find the market bottom you can keep dollar cost averaging, you won't see it coming when the bear market is finally done for, trust me.
Safest thing to do, cost averaging is very effective and this is a proven way of making a lot of profit in the future. You are buying at a cheaper price by not waiting for the real bottom, by this even if the market started to rise you can still at peace because you bought those crypto at a cheaper price, all you have to do is to wait patiently for the next bull market.
399  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Please Suggest Some Free Crypto Trading Signals on: December 24, 2022, 09:45:22 PM
OP is actually not looking for any trading signal, he just want to market that site so many will see that.
Trading signal is not worth it, there’s always risk on that especially if you are paying fees for the risky signal, haven’t tried this but I know a friend who regrets joining a signal group, he said that its all about the hype and no profit generation after making trades. Trading is not easy but once you know how to trade properly, it can be more worth it.
