901  Economy / Economics / Re: The world economy is in recession on: June 10, 2022, 09:44:41 PM
Some countries are still doing going though but many are already affected in many ways.
Recession in some country is inevitable especially in third world country, some already suffering with the spike on the prices of basic commodities. This is the result of printing more money in the past two years because of the pandemic, but don’t worry the economy will recover again but it will always take time. Let’s just do what is right and have a good investment as well, this way you can protect your money from the inflation.
902  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Luna 2.0 keeps falling on: June 09, 2022, 09:57:43 PM
This is just crazy... did anyone really expect some magical story with Luna 2.0? I am not sure why so many topics about Luna when that project was a disaster from the start?! And if Luna wasn't enough for people to figure it out there now you have it! With Luna 2.0 it's pretty obvious what is it all about!

Well, I am old enough to not feel sorry for people who fall into this trap! I hope they finally learned their lesson! If we see Luna 3.0 I believe people will stay away from it!
I also wonder why there’s too much expectation about this coin, I’m pretty sure they are already over and this update doesn’t help them to at least get the trust back of the investor. I can’t see any good reason to buy LUNA again, it’s too risky now so better to be more careful on buying LUNA. Remember the trust issues is still with LUNA, and that is the big red flag for me.
903  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which crypto will going to explore after this bearish market ends? on: June 09, 2022, 09:46:27 PM
Which cryptocurrency is the best to invest in right now and will explode following the bear market?
Safest investment for this is with Bitcoin since the whole market depends on BTC and if the bear is down, you can see the price of BTC will slowly go up and after a year most probably new ATH will be made so have patience with BTC and you can be good. The next best investment during bear market is the top altcoins, again they can rise higher and with BTC on a good position, I’m confident that good altcoins will follow that good trend, the next bull market will surely be a good one.
904  Economy / Gambling / Re: How do you know how to trust online sportsbooks? on: June 09, 2022, 09:33:31 PM
Basically i dont trust any online gambling site unless i have played and have first hand experience on the site before I can recommend it to anyone, there are so many reputable sportsbooks around and to a large extent, there are other scammy ones around too so I advise you try all the site out on your own.
You can try to read reviews first and then if the site is ok that could be the start for you to try it on your own, give at least a month to tell if that site is worth to play or not. I’m looking for a more fair sportsbooks that offers a lot of betting option, and aside from looking for a security the site must also KYC free so I can stay on that site and keep betting. Seriously, we all have personal standard and what’s good for me might not be ok for you, so better to try it for yourself and have a list for pros and cons.
905  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Modernizing old projects on: June 06, 2022, 09:50:29 PM
~
Yeah, OP. You might be overthinking it too much. Sadly many altcoins now are seen as shitcoins due to how short some coins last in the market and sometimes you just gotta suck it up and accept it. It is an unpredictable market in the end plus it is the nature of it so there ain't much we can do about it.
Expect the same for the succeeding years, like another carbon copy of these NFTs claiming to be the "NFT killers".  I even remembered some user in the other thread claiming that those coins he mentioned are "Ethereum killers". Cheesy
You are right with the development of NFT so many new projects that meet the demands of their users and give the industry some of the services that make cryptocurrency usage acceptable and flexible, I may have not been overthinking things but then again we could still find some good ico projects that can be rebuilt and transformed to fit into the current dispensation.
Only if the developer is still with that token/coin because if its already abandoned then I don’t see any reason to rebuild it again. Those Old projects that fails most probably was not able to catch the demand of the public but since this technology keeps on growing, they can still innovate and adopt the new trend. As we can see, NFTs right now are still doing good and this might be the opportunity for old projects to start over again and follow the trend.
906  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔮 Futuur - Predict the Future! 🔮 on: June 06, 2022, 09:44:17 PM
Futuur, by far some platform that came with its uniqueness as I observed on the forum in the days I was very much attached with the site. Not to mention that, it had certain down sides to it like, the games being bet on in the sportsbookwere selective by the site, not all leagues were futured and I hope that has been sorted out!
Well, it's surely been a  while I visited this thread and I tried visiting the site of late after months of not being active and was met with a login complication. Email and password error I suppose. Went through the forgotten password procedure and though the link came as supposed in my mail, a password reset was successful buy still wasn't able to login the site. I can't tell why its happening!
I tried to visit the site today and it works fine even if I also not active anymore with this site, maybe there’s a problem with your account which you need to confirm with their support if you are planning to use this site again. I actually haven’t heard any update with Futuur, maybe they need to market this site again here in the forum so user can also know about this unique site that offers a lot of varieties on betting, this site needs to be more active on the marketing side.
907  Economy / Economics / Re: Trouble in paradise for India? on: June 06, 2022, 09:36:58 PM

Hmm, India is buying oil at a discount rate but they are selling those oil by refining to European countries when oil price in their own country is skyrocketing. When people are suffering because of these price hikes then govt is making a hell lot of money.

They can not reduce oil prices in their country when they are already buying it at a discount rate then how OPEC countries increased oil supply will decrease the oil price?

I recently read a thread also pertaining to this situation, India buying at a discount rate from Russia.
And selling it at a very good price in EU after refining it. A very smart move from this country.
With this advantage, they can lower their oil price because they are getting it cheaper because of this war situation.
At least help their countrymen on this aspect. It is understandable if other countries are increasing their fuel prices.
But if India is buying it at a discounted price, why not share this benefit to its people?
Just like what you’ve said, they are selling it on a good price to EU so why they will sell it at a discounted price to their own people while they can have more money if they will sell it abroad? This is how money talks and most probably, sadly those companies are preferred to earn more money. Anyway, India is not the only country who are experiencing high cost of food and petroleum, it looks like this is the problem of many countries as of the moment.
908  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC & ETH Trends for the week on: June 06, 2022, 09:34:06 PM
TA will never work. This is just a random speculation, the sentiment of market and global economic situation is the main thing that affecting people to invest but these days we do know that so well how bad the global economic. So many countries were facing very big inflation. People need case and it's hard to say that whether they wanna try to use their money to buy crypto or not. TA was a garbage prediction for now.
I saw bunch of people predicting another pump after bitcoin reached 32 but it was going down again last week and became a bulltrap. It's still remain unpredictable.
TA works, you just need to do it patiently and consistently.
Traders made a lot of money because they analyze the market most of the time and by doing this you can actually predict the next trend but of course there’s still a chance that its not accurate but still, its advisable to analyze than to make any guess. Its good to see green candles again with Bitcoin, this might be the start of a new trend for this year.
909  Economy / Gambling / Re: How do you know how to trust online sportsbooks? on: June 06, 2022, 09:27:05 PM
Hello everyone, I've been using online sportsbooks for a while now, but I wanted to know how do you know how to trust those sites? What do you look for in them, what are some red flags for you, that kind of stuff. Hope it makes sense and please share what are your favorite online sportsbooks.
I usually follow the crowd, if the reviews from the gamblers are good then most probably, I will also try their platform to experience it for myself. I also look for good security, KYC matters to me as well and if the withdrawal and deposit is fast with a smaller fees. To be more safe, better to gamble only with the top sites, mostly they run their site for years now and that could be a good assurance as well.
910  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: June 06, 2022, 09:17:54 PM
Update, final weigh-in:

Donaire: 117.8 lbs.
Inoue: 118 lbs.

Here is the video, although the quality is not that good,

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xUySQ_25Yno

At least there's no drama of either one of them not making weight. Of course, both of them will look drain specially Donaire because of his age but it doesn't mean that it will have an effect on him on fight night. He will simply rehydrate, just like what he did after the weigh-in. He simply sip-in some drinks to replenish his body with vitamins and minerals.
Now we can expect for the fight to push through and yes, they always rehydrate to stay compose but still need to protect that weight and the good condition of their body. The match day is getting near, I hope Donaire will showcase his skills here with a good strategy since Inoue is not an east opponent to anybody, this is the tough fight and the most exciting one. No more dramas, they are now focused on the up coming match.
911  Local / Pilipinas / Re: WHALES investors mabuti o masama? on: June 06, 2022, 09:08:48 PM
We can’t stop WHALES from investing on any project, if there’s an opportunity to make money expect na meroon laging Whales, and of course yang pump and dump ay normal na dito sa cryptomarket. If you want to be more safe, then learn how to analyze because this is the only thing for you to become profitable as well. Sabi nga nila, ride with the whales always, know when to buy and sell is the key here.
912  Economy / Speculation / Re: It goes same way people never learn btc 30k on: June 06, 2022, 08:59:13 PM
People never learn now those whos scared to buy btc will be ONes who buy btc when btc 50-60k.
Its now dip but people always scared of dips and they prefer to buy from top not from lows.
30k is most scared price range many hope it goes lower but instutions data shows very small possibility tht btc ever can go much lower .
We can’t force them to buy since they also have the strategy or they are still afraid to take the risk. It’s ok, this experience will give them another lesson and most probably on the next dip, they might able to buy again. BTC proves that it will always go up no matter what, and the dip price is always a good opportunity to get into this market, lucky to those who are able to buy, harvest season will come to them most probably.
913  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Profitable are Gambling Bots? on: June 06, 2022, 08:49:19 PM
I’ve used auto bet before and I can say that it’s not that profitable since it doesn’t change the whole concept of gambling its just that you are betting faster and this actually can consume all your capital in an instant. Gambling bots doesn’t give any guarantee with your profit, it will still depend on your luck and remember bots are also the system of the house which technically, it will still in favor to them.
914  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: PH banned online cockfighting - Worst gambling-related cases recorded! on: June 06, 2022, 01:51:13 PM
That's a good possibility if those gamblers and operators will start using crypto and the bond between them developed good trust
It's very possible that they will continue operating this illegally.
I'm pretty sure that those elites are capable of working it out and facilitate without any radar from the authorities, as even before they
can locate them high officials who also part of the syndicate can easily track this information and feed it to the operators.
Illegal gambling will always be part of our corrupt system, I don't think we can still change this one.
With regards to crypto adoption, I don't think its a good idea since not all bettors know Cryptocurrency and the online sabong target market is the poor people who are easily get addicted and don't know much about the risk of gambling, crypto is too broad for them. Well, the authorities should continue to regulate this and monitor the whole system, many are still addict on this sabong.
915  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you had 50k and it was life or death situation to triple that money to pay... on: June 06, 2022, 01:37:42 PM
Never invest this money especially if its intent to use for medical purposes because investing is not guaranteed and you might lose this if you do it carelessly. There's a lot of ways to raise funds nowadays, you just need to take advantage of the technology that we have right now and be more resourceful. In my place, if someone really needed the money, they sell goods and do fund raising, the community is very helpful and supportive with this, try this one as well instead of taking risk with that money.
916  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA Finals 2022 - Warriors vs Celtics. on: June 06, 2022, 01:24:49 PM
Jordan Poole really explode in game 2, unfortunately I wasn't able to place bet in live as I woke up late and I really regret not placing a bet ahead. I was looking forward on the game 3 now I really think that GSW will not let them go again with another win and finish the series as early as possible, overall I am really confident that the GSW will going to win this 2022 NBA Finals.
No worries, plenty of games ahead of us.

I guess it's a wake up call for them what happen in game 1, they are that confident entering the 4th quarter but was surprised how the Celtics shots the ball very well as they didn't defend the perimeter. In game 2, was the same story, they take a huge lead, but this time, they know now to take care of it in the 4th and didn't allow the Celtics to close the game and give them another crack to win and upset them.
It's good that Warriors was able to depend the lead in game two and the result is really good.
All the players in court distribute a lot to help their ace players, Warriors is indeed playing as a team here. Now the pressure is with them since the next two games will be in the court advantage of Celtics, let's see if they can loose Celtics as well on their homecourt. Try to place a bet in game 3, you'll be more surprise to see its result and better to watch the game as well because its really entertaining. I'll bet for Warriors in game 3, they still have the advantage here.
There's no doubt about the performance of Warriors in game 2, the real challenge to them is when they play in the homecourt of Celtics, hopefully they are still on a good condition so they can defeat Celtics to take the lead in the series. Many predicts that this is going to be a long series, game 7 to be exact, there's a high chance for this knowing both teams are doing good and no one is giving up here, I'll go to the opposite, Celtics will be in favor here in game 3.
917  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Mark Magsayo vs Rey Vargas WBC Featherweight Title (July 9) on: June 05, 2022, 09:59:07 PM
That being said, I believe that Mark Magsayo can do that job as he's hardworking, he's really determined and he doesn't talk a lot as he wants to put more action than talking. If he's consistent enough then time will come that he can put his name on this division as a King. Nevertheless, Vargas is first on his list being a defending champion in this weight class.
Magsayo should do his best to defend the belt, this is the first time he will defend the belt and of course we don’t want to see him giving up easily. Vargas is not an easy opponent, they are both good boxer so only those who are more focused and have a good strategy will win. Magsayo is still on a good position here, in just a month they will face each other and i hope Magsayo is more prepared for this.
918  Economy / Economics / Re: Countries with the most expensive fuel | Greece's case study on: June 05, 2022, 09:49:14 PM
These fuel price increases are really making the inflation much quicker and higher and it's the whole world that suffers expect for the few companies that have their main source through oil.

Damn, the ATH on the oil prices really is making our lives harder and it's a domino effect when fuel price increases. All commodities and goods are also increasing. When this war will end and things will go back easier pre-pandemic, we're just about to see the neutralization of the covid-19 due to vaccines but there's another challenge due to the war and oil price increases.
Greece is on a big inflation even before the war started between Russia and Ukraine though maybe this situation make it more worst. In my country, we expect to have a higher inflation in the coming months and maybe, this could be the start of the price hike. This is one of the problem that world faces today, many countries are already suffering from a big inflation, oil is one thing and I can expect more commodities to rise in price as well.
919  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Platform? on: June 05, 2022, 09:39:05 PM
If you are new to trading I would suggest to create an account in Kucoin , Crypto.com or Binance so you dont have to worry about the gas fee. If you have a long term mindset in investing I would suggest to go to pancakeswap but it is a little bit technical to learn.
Binance is a good option for every newbie, this is very friendly and you can easily understand how this platform works but without any trading knowledge, I believe you will still find it hard no matter what exchanges you are using so better start learning how to trade first. Choosing trading platform should only be your second priority since learning should always comes first.
920  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH Sentiment Poll for June on: June 05, 2022, 09:29:10 PM
I think it all depends on the price of Bitcoin, currently the bitcoin price is above $30000 again,
this is a good sign to start bullish, but I remember, it's the weekend,
so manipulation can happen in Bitcoin price and altcoins will certainly follow it, including Ethereum,
That’s correct, Altcoins is following the trend of Bitcoin and if it successfully break those resistance, then we might be able to see good prices of ETH as well. It can happen this Month or in the coming months, it’s hard to tell with ETH but for sure, ETH will rise again and lucky to those who are able to buy more during bear market, that could be the best strategy.
