161  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sell your house for investment in btc. on: March 02, 2018, 07:28:25 PM
I would sell my BTC to invest in a house, but never the other way around that seems preposterous. Selling off on asset to get into another can't end well, you should have liquid funds to get involved in any new ventures.
162  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fear of bitcoin on: March 02, 2018, 07:24:13 PM
They are keen to keep people away so they can maintain the corrupt status quo that they have ongoing. If it wasn't enough to hurt your own population, now when they have an out you try take that away. Shame on you corrupt governments, Bitcoin will be the end of your existence!
163  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: KFC now accepts Bitcoin! on: March 02, 2018, 07:19:28 PM
At the end of 2017 Burger king began to accept bitcoin. But somehow they ended up doing it, as I know. Perhaps KFC is waiting for the same fate.
Some stores accepted Bitcoin for a little bit then the dropped it. I don't know why they just don't keep it on there.
Probably because the demand was too low they didn't see a point in keeping the system going. Too sad because I was actively looking for how to buy it myself, that was until I found out it was only in Canada *facepalm* Cheesy. Waiting for that elusive day when I can spend my bitties on fast food!
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you even read whitepaper bro? on: March 02, 2018, 07:00:36 PM
Nope because I don't diddle around in ICOs anymore. I remember those headache days of having to read whitepaper, ah how I thought I was living the dream. My goodness I couldn't have been more wrong, but kudos to those who have the heart to read these things. Lastly it is important to know I am not a technical person or coder, so getting through these papers is quite confusing to put it mildly.
165  Economy / Speculation / Re: DID YOU THINk BITCOIN CAN REACH 55K IN THE END OF THIS YEAR on: March 02, 2018, 06:49:58 PM
Yes, I believe we can surpass that this year although it may be tough. One thing we gotta consider is that when this institutional money comes in, it is going to pour in for months. If we saw Bitcoin rise from 5k to 20k, I would be hard pressed to believe we couldn't have a similar rise at the end of this year.
166  Economy / Economics / Re: Private Coins from banks and governments on: March 02, 2018, 06:47:21 PM
Nothing can be done to stop it as blockchains are open source in nature. They wouldn't be "luring" their own customers but it the characteristics of that blockchain are not decentralized and open, then you don't have a blockchain built in the spirit of crypto. What you have is a centralized entity changing the way it issues money, nothing new there.
167  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin benefit of saving for a long time? on: March 02, 2018, 06:42:48 PM
You need not even be here for a long just a good time, as timing is everything. You could attain results in the stock markets in a single literal day in Bitcoin, so it isn't always a long term game.
168  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is every country really corrupt? on: March 02, 2018, 06:38:27 PM
While every country is isn't really corrupt I would be hard pressed to believe there isn't a little bit of corruption in every country. Yes that means you too Scandinavian countries, Canada, and the other lot seen as otherwise bulletproof.
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Gibraltar Supports cryptocurrency. on: March 02, 2018, 06:05:08 PM
Is it me or are these tiny island nations figuring it out before the rest of the world? Reason I think this is ongoing is because of word of mouth. They realize the power behind Bitcoin and because these islands are so small, they don't need much time for everybody to get educate. The key to Bitcoin spreading is the awareness and education we give to those who aren't involved. I got great information when beginning out, and I want to pass that on down to the next market participants.
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Hidden Gems For 100x 2018 on: March 02, 2018, 05:59:00 PM
TenX, they have fallen under the radar because of bad news. They are still working hard behind the scenes and I believe they will deliver on most if not all of their promises this year. Can't say the same for about 50% of the coins I hold, which is bad but it goes to show I got faith in TenX.
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethurum or ripple on: March 02, 2018, 05:50:23 PM
Is it possible to choose neither? Lol all jokes aside I would choose Ethereum any day of the week over Ripple, I don't even care what the prices are. I care more about the fundamental technology that is present here which is much more important than the price.
172  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How to overcome depression? on: March 02, 2018, 05:45:49 PM
The way I overcame my depression was to feel all the sadness and emotions that were going through my body. Previously I was numbing the pain with substances and that clearly did not help. After that I tried going sober and as painful as it was, it was liberating because I knew after all that pain I would make it to the other side. I hope my story can help one individual out there today, to take that leap of faith and feel the bad feelings. It isn't something you want to hear, but when you feel those feelings you take their bad power away from them. Take that nasty power of depression away! Smiley
173  Economy / Economics / Re: Don't worry, the market will not fall forever. on: March 02, 2018, 05:40:27 PM
Should we be looking forward to May?

Would you invest in an ICO now? (a stablecoin, for example)
Why look ahead to May? I wanna enjoy the all the fun March has to offer, lets not skip the action jackson please. Would still not invest in an ICO though, just because alts are pumping right now doesn't make it worth it. Also you may not get your coins before the altcoin party stops, which would be double bad.
174  Economy / Economics / Re: Can we totally eliminate all the banks in this world? on: March 02, 2018, 05:34:25 PM
No and that shouldn't be anybodys goal who is involved in this space imo. The reason we don't want that is because we would be no better than the bankers if we made them choose over system over theirs. The beauty of this all is that we will let the world decide what they want, and pretty sure given the two choices they will side with cryptocurrencies and Bitcoin over traditional methods of fiat. This is all granted that we give the knowledge about Bitcoin, because people will only pick it once they understand the history of money and where we are headed with the future of money.
175  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Meaningful Physical Connections on: March 02, 2018, 05:21:04 PM
Pretty disgusted with the current dating climate, and haven't gone out in a while because of it. Not saying it is wrong but I can't get done with swiping right, call me old school like that.
176  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin too complicated for ordinary folks? on: March 02, 2018, 05:17:54 PM
At some point, bitcoin could be very complicated to some ordinary folks. Understanding bitcoin can be very hard to deal with. Specially when it talks about trading or so. What makes it complicated is that, to be succesful we need to be more equipped in dealing with it. Understand it better and invest more time if possible.
Disregarding trading though, anybody should be able to pickup the basics of Bitcoin. The basics themselves aren't that difficult, things get tough when you try to explain the intricacies of the system. For instance knowing there are 21 million coins maximum is easy, but knowing how they are mined, transacted, routed, and owned are two very separate things indeed.
177  Economy / Economics / Re: Why people says gold is better? on: March 02, 2018, 05:11:07 PM
It is for one of two reasons and that is either because they are confident with gold (because it has been around much longer) or because they are ignorant about what Bitcoin is. Generally it is a combination of the two, but some times you will have somebody who is closed minded and those people you don't want to have a conversation with anyways.
178  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why use Bitcoins ? on: March 02, 2018, 05:06:36 PM
Key points for use include

-Censorship resistant
-Open, borderless
-Neutral
-Global
-Decentralized
-Secure & Immutable
179  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Does ages really matter in relationships? on: March 02, 2018, 05:02:36 PM
I think that relationshopis can be builded succsessfuly by two people only with the similar age. I don't believe in something like 60 old man and 19 old girl truly love each other.
Why not? As long as they like the other person or have stronger feelings than like then that is what love is. You can't say those people can't love because of their age that simple doesn't work. It might not be too logical and it may not work for 99% of people, but for that minority of 1% it will work out fine.
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NANO formerly known as RaiBlocks (XRB) is going to be a top 10 coin on: March 02, 2018, 04:58:29 PM
Recent twit of Charlie Lee -Litecoin founder- make a reason for community interest widely and helped increase in price. I do not think Charlie would invest and twit about a shitcoin. I believe there is a good reason to buy Nano now. I know they have a hardworking development team and I decided to hold Nano for long term
There was always good reason to buy NANO, now it just so happens that one of the biggest players in the game realizes it. Not everybody can view every coin and have insight, therefore somebody will have coins that are hidden and will get missed by majority of the community. If you were one of those like me who got involved early with Rai, good for you Wink.
