121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best ICO to register right now on: March 06, 2018, 09:05:39 PM
Asking for the best ICO is like asking which finger would be best for me to amputate.
Dude I was gonna come in here and say something sarcastic and witty but man your response made my god damn day! Thanks for that and I will try my own now.

Looking for the best ICO is like looking for a pot-of-gold. You can almost see and feel it, but it doesn't exist (well only in your imagination Tongue!)
122  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC predection in 2018 on: March 06, 2018, 09:02:42 PM
I am always curious to learn more about other peoples BTC predictions because if enough people think them, I believe they will come true. Graphs or it didn't happen, haha jk Grin but seriously a source or some piece of information as to why you think this would go a long way.
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs BOUNTIES CHOOSE RANKED PERSONS ONLY OR NEW ENTRANTS WITH QUALITY POSTS TOO on: March 06, 2018, 08:56:14 PM
Lately a lot of new forum members are looking to join signature campaigns/bounties and just post shit in order to get paid. That is in no one's interest. Its in bounties best interest to chose persons that would advertise them the most and its in forum's interest to prevent meaningless spam. Yeah I can see that Merit system have it's flaws but if you are posting just for sake of ranking up in order to be paid better, in that case I would say it's doing its job.
It is a mixed bag because there are benefits and drawbacks to both sides. To me then we should implement a 5 star system in which bounty managers would put you in a star slot (based on your posting history, rank, proven knowledge). I think if we did this, the "shitposters" would get 1 star at best (sometimes zero because no value) and then the actual legitimate posters would get 3-5 stars depending on their knowledge. Not only would that undue the politics and the ranking system, but the value would be deciding by a third-party who is neutral to the problems and quarrels of bitcointalk.
124  Other / Meta / Re: Merit hole and 3 fixes might work (Worth looking) on: March 06, 2018, 08:48:16 PM
Well said, I especially agree with point #3 because it does seem like a waste. Not that they don't deserve it because they obviously do and have more knowledge but it does seem wasteful in a sense. Point #1 and #3 seem like they would be easy to track and the abuse would get caught quick I believe.
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mindset and personal expirience, how important is it in crypto? on: March 06, 2018, 08:42:41 PM
Having the right mindset and having the right skill set is integral to anybody success at crypto. Best part of it all, is that since the industry is fresh and new anybody can learn these skills and anybody can become a successful trader. Main reason why people aren't is because they think crypto is some get rick quick scheme and that couldn't be further from the truth. You need to have a lot of discipline, mainly in emotional and money management skills. And that is much easier said than done, in actual execution it is hard to not let our emotions get involved because we are human.
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WINNERS AND LOSERS IN THE TOP 20 on: March 06, 2018, 08:33:02 PM
Market is probably overreacting negatively to the news of the Bitcoins being auctioned off, although the sale of those Bitcoins would have hardly effected the price even if all were sold. The news of them being sold, however moved the market more. Isn't that just ironic and laughable at the same time? Goes to show how many people are newbies in this space, and how adversely media can effect the markets.
127  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Negotiation with government on: March 06, 2018, 08:28:33 PM
What if people convince governments of their nations to make Bitcoin as a legal currency or what if we agree to give tax on our bitcoin income? Will government then make Bitcoin a legal currency.
To negotiate with the government is to show its weakness. We have different goals. Such negotiations have no prospects. I think we should use bitcoin and not pay attention to the opinion of governments. Only when governments admit they've lost will they make concessions. It may be a long road, but we have to follow it.

Agree with you on this.

Crypto is created so we don't have to be worried or persuade anyone of anything. It is peer to peer and government should not interfere there. But I also understand that almost everyone will come to a point where they would want to sell crypto and get cash, and that creates problems...
While I agree with both your sentiments about interference and government should mind their business, is your stance the same with taxation? Because if you want Bitcoin to ever be legal currency and ever have an ounce of legitimacy, you will most certainly have to pay taxes. If you don't want to, sure hide your funds and spend your whole life hiding and running around. That won't be me, I can tell you that.
128  Economy / Speculation / Re: The way of BITCOIN! 2018 on: March 06, 2018, 08:12:40 PM
Just as your post shows there are many individuals with many different calls, the rest of us are no different. I have heard anywhere from under 10k bitcoin to above 100k bitcoin by this years end, and you know what? Somebody has to be correct, and that person will say TOLD YOU SO! I really don't care about price, I just want more adoption to come and price will follow that shortly.
129  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buying BTC below 10,000 USD? on: March 06, 2018, 08:01:51 PM
I think the bitcoin cost of less than $ 10,000 will be a golden opportunity for investors. You should know that the crypto market is always volatile. So buying low and selling high will be a great strategy at the moment. Your long-term investment is smart but will be risky. Because the cost of all altcoins depends on the whale. So we will never understand the cost of bitcoin. I recommend you to implement my short term investment strategy.
Funny how this price is golden opportunity of right now. I say funny because fondly remember last year somebody was asking about Bitcoin price at $2700. It had dipped down from $3000 and they were wondering about that price for an entry and one poster succinctly said you would ask the same from $300 to $270 and look where we are now, before you know it we will be at 30k and you will be asking the same question. That response blew my mind, and sure enough we are well on the way to 30k. And at 30k you better believe people are going to be asking about $25,000 dip entries, and we will tell them long it you most probably will get to 300k. Time will tell if all that pans out, but the ride has been so far.

Thats great. This is an amazing project, solid team. I am waiting to start earning KNW tokens while contributing knowledge, and playing trivia games.
It truly is an inspiring project, and I believe we need more projects like this. As the saying goes "knowledge is power" and as I have come to be older it makes loads of sense, I never grasped that before until now. I am glad we can spread the knowledge in a quicker fashion with this project!
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA is the next big thing on: March 06, 2018, 01:39:20 AM
You all have got to be kidding me. The next big thing? More like the worst coin that is out there on the market currently. It has all of the following but probably more problems

A) When sending transactions they go from confirmed back to unconfirmed, how is that even possible Roll Eyes ?
B) They rolled their own crypto, ie leaving a backdoor flaw which is inherently stupid
C) You have to keep clicking "attach" on the "wallet" in order to see your balance. (small chance of losing your balance out right, + I say "wallet" because its a piece and literally functions like it)
D) Best of all you get to create your own private key! (not like that is a huge security flaw or anything)

But yeah this is the "next big thing"  Huh. Smh I weep for crypto if this it the next big things guys!
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Deep Onion on: March 06, 2018, 01:33:04 AM
Onion boomed and it will boom much more in future. The current price is way. If they do things what they planned even sky is not a limit.

Of course. Besides, the volume is incredible! What do you think will happen after the last round?
A few holder will have time to sell, the rest will cry.

You should come back to market reality ...
I am not so convinced, it seems like it is a sinking ship right now. They had a lot of updates towards end of last year and early this year, but not much happening lately. If that changes they have a shot, if not then they are doomed I say.
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Uber Creator Invents New Cryptocurrency on: March 06, 2018, 01:29:30 AM
Not surprised this guy wants in he is the epitome of scummy money imo. I hope this endeavor fails spectacularly, I don't like the Uber inventor. This also won't be the last existing company to try and enter this space, earlier today I heard about Mercedes Benz wanting in too and they are going to have their own called "MobiCoin".
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Token as reward on: March 06, 2018, 01:16:28 AM

135  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin still a good store of value <Safe haven>? on: March 06, 2018, 01:09:08 AM
Of course it is, although we are having a hard time breaking out right now. I feel that should change this month and that we will be above 15k at months end. Don't know what that means for alts though, their relationship has been kinda rocky lately Tongue.
136  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Best Time To Exit Trading on: March 06, 2018, 12:45:37 AM
Best time to exit is when you simply think the coin is going to down more than 10%. Reason being you can sell it and pick it up the next day if you want, if you think it is going down even more well that is even better. People view downside as bad, but how we should view is that it is a great opportunity to buy cheaper coins!
137  Economy / Economics / Re: Why You Should Never Sell Your Bitcoins Ever on: March 06, 2018, 12:41:14 AM
Previously I would have never agreed with you, but now that we are at this price and mainstream adoption is around the corner I don't see why I should opt back into fiat. Don't get me wrong I am going to take a little out to pay the bills and feel secure again in life, but I don't think I am going to take out more than 10% ever of what I have inside of crypto. Stark difference from a couple months back when I was looking to pull out 50% every year, but now I see no reason for such big moves.
138  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can the online Casino industry help Bitcoin? on: March 06, 2018, 12:37:58 AM
I highly doubt it, if anything I think it could have a negative effect on Bitcoin's growth. Because then it will be associated with gambling which is always associated negatively and grouped in with other bad behaviors. We don't need that grouping, certainly not now when governments are looking to regulate.
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Other airdrop like DeepOnion on: March 04, 2018, 12:59:08 AM
Surprised nobody has mentioned Bitcore (BTX), they provide a quality airdrop every week for the last I believe 9 months now. Currently they are dropping 7%, but next month it will be even higher at a whopping 8% Shocked.
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What need to do in this unstable cryptocurrency market on: March 04, 2018, 12:54:18 AM
We need to play our capital, move like a veteran trader and notice the current events in our technical analysis. The cryptocurrency is not really stable and if we will enter the world of crypto without having knowledge on how to have profits and we don't know how to avoid from a great loss probably, we will not meet our targets.
To put it bluntly, in order for cryptocurrencies to achieve broader adoption, they must be at least as good as those currencies against which they are competing. The market of this unstable cryptocurrency are depends on how investors put or apply it. Because currencies are judged by their ability to serve three functions  as a medium of exchange, a unit of account, and a store of value. To successfully serve these functions, a currency must be easily and broadly usable and demonstrate at least some level of value stability.
But that won't happen until people adopt it and their is more money inside the whole market. It really is a catch-22 at this point and we can't give up on crypto, which means more people gotta be willing to get into a volatile market. There is no way around it, the markets will be volatile until we reach x dollars or y people.
