221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Relation between Altcoin and BTC on: March 02, 2018, 05:22:42 AM
At first I thought there was an inverse relationship between the two, then as time went along I realized there was no 100% real relationship between the two it was arbitrary. All I know is in my almost year of crypto I have witnessed a multitude of outcomes at the markets and all of it points to random.
222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum in 5 years on: March 02, 2018, 05:02:25 AM
Gonna take a guess and say by 2022 Ethereum will be worth at minimum 5k, at average 10k, and the high end of the estimate would be 15k. Crazy to think though that it was a little baby only a couple of short years ago, how time flies...
223  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin be used to support terrorists? on: March 02, 2018, 04:33:34 AM
Sadly yes but lets not overlook the fact that there are other currencies in the world that support illegal activities much more and more frequently. That isn't to say we condone this behavior with Bitcoin, but it is to say if people want to fund illegal activities they will find one way or another to do it.
224  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: March 02, 2018, 04:27:06 AM
Does it make sense to believe that Bitcoin could one day be replaced by another cryptocurrency, that is, a cryptocurrency that really does make Bitcoin obsolete?
Doubt it and any technological advance that an altcoin has currently that Bitcoin does not, Bitcoin will implement it in due time.
225  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is It advisable to quit my present job for bitcoin? on: March 02, 2018, 04:24:50 AM
If you will commit your life to Bitcoin and learning and gaining skills then I would say yes. Anything short of committing yourself full time here will leave you in regret that you quit. I would advocate you do crypto part time and maintain that job, getting the best of both worlds.
226  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why People Can Not Believe Bitcoin on: March 02, 2018, 04:20:25 AM
Yeah people could not believe on Bitcoin unless they have it. People is like to "to see or to have it is to believe" but if studied the operation and growth of Bitcoin surely everyone especially you will believe it.
I don't know why everybody gets hung up on this...because the digital ledger we have today you already can't feel and see your money. I never understood the its digital cash argument because right now as it is, that is the current system too.
227  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: government arrangement of taxes on bitcoin, would it be considered positive? on: March 02, 2018, 04:15:57 AM
Yes to me this is a positive thing because by paying taxes we are contributing to the building of our societies, despite the fact the money doesn't get allocated nearly as correctly. Would like to see blockchains implemented all throughout city hall so communities couldn't spend money so frivolously.
228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is now a good time to invest in ICO? on: March 02, 2018, 04:12:33 AM
If I were you, I might choose to invest in BTC or ETH, if you have not enough funds to invest ETH, because many ICO are scams, even if we are cautious, but still very inevitable being cheated.
I would heed this advice and add along that even if ICOs aren't necessarily scams most of them fail anyways. This could be for a variety of reasons but remember these are start-ups and most start-ups do fail!
229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to find best bounty? on: March 02, 2018, 04:03:17 AM
Look for a project you actually care and are willing to support. Because if you are just looking for a quick buck, that won't end well. It will be much harder hodling through the downswing especially when you have zero faith in a project.
230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrop premined coin is fair on: March 02, 2018, 03:56:26 AM
Premine is considered a scam around here by most, although I would hold off my reservations until the team showed their true colors. Certainly would not invest a cent into a premine.
231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: how to choose good altcoin on: March 02, 2018, 03:48:13 AM
Don't forget about community because without a proper community backing the coin won't go anywhere. Also it is better if there are more hands involved leading to further decentralization rather than be such few hands involved.
232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Over 90% of ICOs are a scam on: March 02, 2018, 03:43:39 AM
Not out right but if you consider the ones that don't follow through on promises our work nearly as hard as they should I would say the number is north of 95% then.
233  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin a good way to invest your money ? on: March 02, 2018, 03:39:57 AM
It is a fabulous way to invest your money granted you are not investing all or a major portion of your money and granted you know what you are getting involved with before getting involved. Not sure which is more important, but both are critical to having success here.
234  Economy / Economics / Re: Does this mean Cash will be extinct? on: March 02, 2018, 03:33:51 AM
We are already on our way to cash being extinct as it currently only occupies 8% of all cash worldwide. With that in mind, this news from Sweden should come as no surprise although I would worry about the control of the system. It is bad for all actors involved when the government not only controls the money supply, but controls who gets to be a part of the system. Thankfully, we have Bitcoin so we need not worry about that as much Smiley.
235  Economy / Economics / Re: how can bitcoin help the community? on: March 02, 2018, 03:27:08 AM
Bitcoin really has big impact to the community,. Bitcoin become the source of income employed person, and additional income to those employed it is really life changing.
Don't forget it will give those who never had an option of a bank or were under banked their whole lives a chance at the banking system. Basically it will provide a right that should have been available for everybody from the get go.
236  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin have a future? on: March 02, 2018, 03:21:08 AM
Bitcoin is the future you could say, hardly a question whether it will be involved in the future anymore. Cool
237  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't look at btc every five minutes on: March 02, 2018, 03:18:01 AM
I now have gotten to the point where I check once a day and that is it, even then I don't really care to want to check during the day. The main reason I do check though is just in case alts are dumping or pumping in which case I may have to liquidate a few spots.
238  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fixed income with BTC trading? on: March 02, 2018, 03:05:13 AM
When there is risk with trading, mining, investing, and all that there can be no guarantees. And because there is inherent risk in every aspect of the market, you can't have any income that will be coming in every month not unless you owned a masternode. If you have guarantees you will be guaranteed to be a part of a ponzi scheme you can believe that so try veering clear of a sure thing.
239  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin had a stable price, would it still be as popular? on: March 02, 2018, 03:01:40 AM
Not even close it wouldn't be popular at all I would argue. The reason it gets such media attention and hype from people is because of the swings, there would be no headlines if the swings were the same as established currencies!
240  Economy / Economics / Re: Is an economy without physical money safe for the poorest? on: March 02, 2018, 02:57:44 AM
I don't know why money being digital would make it any worse for the poorer people. As long as they have inclusion in the system, the amount of money you have doesn't matter.

It will be not secure for any poor because it needs an internet connection for its operation which the poor doesn't have

That is beginning to change, most people now have a cell phone and an internet connection nowadays.
