TAT, I might be responsible Sad
In my defense, I thought the sarcasm was obvious...  I even added some fine print at the end to make sure.

...
9,600,000 - 5,050,672 = 4,549,328 unsold public shares.
That's almost half of all public shares in the IPO offering.
Have you decided what will happen to the unsold shares?

The shares will be destroyed to benefit existing shareholders you.
I'm totally super srs!

Too late at deleting the post fawn, I saw you saying that just in time. Now we know that Fawn and V2rocket are the same person  Wink
222  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: February 28, 2014, 06:14:00 PM
Looks like we were just really lucky in the previous day. Otherwise we would probably have found another block by now if it was a hardware boost.

The alternative explanation is that there was a hardware boost, and now we're really unlucky!

That's OK, I'm not expecting any significant hashing until May.

The alternative explanation could be it was an hardware test
223  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: February 28, 2014, 04:18:02 PM
Well, for those who don't like to receive news or speculations from me, feel free to ignore me Smiley
I just thought, and still think, it is nice to forward information one managed to obtain. I know I'm no board member and I, as well, would love to receive weekly or at least more regularly occurring information from friedcat himself. But I fear that won't happen as of now. I'm not invested in AM since the IPO, but I have been around since before the peak at 4.0 BTC. Until now I was under the impression that most people appreciated me collecting questions for fc, helping to sort out the most burning ones a month ago.
And, hey... what's wrong about being a pumpkin that mines reliably on his patch?

I don't think he intended that your work is not appreciated, just that he would prefer to get more frequent updates than now.
Your list of questions usually are pretty good, dear balls-shaped pumpkin
224  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: February 28, 2014, 12:28:34 AM
Is there any way to get notifications when AM solves a block?

I was thinking about that, someone throw up a website that sends me an SMS text when they solve a block!

Id rather someone make an app that alerts me when FC makes a new post.

For 2 AM shares I'd make it for you  Tongue
225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][WOLF] InsanityCoin - coin for investors and traders on: February 27, 2014, 10:44:07 PM
Just so you all know who you're dealing with here, InsanityDev came onto my announcement thread today (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=486595.msg5412210#msg5412210). He blatantly lied and talked bad about my coin and my dev team, two things that he knows nothing about, in some lame attempt to promote his coin. Think twice about the dirty tactics this guy uses before you send him any money.

Where he lied? Your coin is clearly a clone of WOLF, just worse. If you copy a coin, ok you can, most of the altcoins are clones of their predecessors, but at least be honest and don't deny it. Insanitydev has the support of many trusted forum members, maybe this forum is not the excellence of trustworthiness, but what do you have except your word? You just look like a scammer.

I'd reply this in your coin's thread, but I don't want to bump it.
226  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] Moving Forward/Resolution Process on: February 27, 2014, 02:23:34 PM
Hello Danny,

Everyone at Neo & Bee are now involved in this resolution process.

(...)

You can have my word that everything conceivably possible, to resolve these problems are being done to the best of our abilities.

We don't know each other, but given your promise in your OP, the money that is involved here, and the total lack of progress recently, I hereby publicly - and copy by PM to you - urge you to either distance yourself entirely from Ukyo and amend your OP accordingly, or bear the responsibility for him. That means negative feedback will be given, associated to your account and will not be removed until the issue is resolved on your side.

My patience is at an end, and I encourage every victim here following this topic to send the same PM and to do the same negative feedback if no statement is made within a reasonable period of time. So please, Danny, if you are a victim of Ukyo yourself, please explain and distance yourself from him to avoid negative feedback.

Please understand my position, even MtGox was eventually forced to release the awful truth.

Thanks for your attention.

Regards,

Matt

I agree, Danny's intervention prevented an active action against Ukyo. Now are been months without updates on this matter, I understand he is running a company (and seems very well) that drains efforts and time, but he personally give us his word to fix the issue, and that it would have been his priority.
I don't see his word has been honoured
227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][WOLF] InsanityCoin - coin for investors and traders on: February 26, 2014, 10:26:48 PM
So much troubles with Poloniex... It's blocked the whole time since some days!

Yes, a little frustrating - I know the creator is very active and making changes, adding features and adding coins.. I think people are starting to use this exchange more and more, leading to typical growing pains many have. I'm working on the assumption that Tristan knows what he is doing and is getting everything in order, he certainly is very active and busy.

Update & Questions

We now have windows qt (Pompobit) and mac os qt (thesamson) maintainers, who have each released stable current versions of insanity coin. I would like to donate 400 WOLF to each of them from the supply, with an additional 200 WOLF to Pompobit, as he worked for days to fix Litecoins [ulr]https://github.com/litecoin-project/litecoin/issues/111]issue 111[/url] for us, something which ensure we have a new stable wallet, and something nobody else has done yet that I'm aware of. If nobody objects with a fair reason, I will allocate and send the WOLF to them tomorrow.

As a community, is this ann thread enough to keep up to date with Insanity Coin? If not what community resources would you like? (twitter, subreddit, website, blog, all of the above?)

Finally, a quick heads up that investment from the east is coming to the project to purchase wolf, support translation and promotion, and support it longer term (long after the 9 week trading game / distribution phase), expect updates in due course.

Ann updated.

Best Regards and thanks for your support and interest so far.

I agree with you, they deserve a tip!  Wink

229  Economy / Securities / Re: [IPVO] [Multiple Exchanges] Neo & Bee - LMB Holdings on: February 24, 2014, 10:38:20 PM
Just a quick update regarding transfers from LMB directly held profit-shares to Havelock.

1. There is a higher volume of requests than normal, but they'll hopefully get caught up tonight/tomorrow.

2. Free transfers to Havelock are provided to shares purchased directly from LMB-holdings.com

3. If you purchased shares at Bitfunder or BTCT originally, there currently is a 0.2btc fee to transfer to Havelock. This fee may be waived for people owning less than 1000 shares.*

4. Free transfers are limited to once per week per shareholder.

5. All transfers from Havelock to LMB-Holdings.com are subject to the current 0.2btc fee.

Please specify where you originally purchased your shares in your emailed transfer request . This will be verified before processing and you will receive a custom payment address for any applicable fees.

This info has also been posted here: https://www.lmb-holdings.com/transfer-shares/havelock/

* Don't try any funny stuff with transferring shares between LMB accounts to game this, we can see everything. Any abusive requests will be subject to the full transfer fee, regardless of size or orientation.

If I have already sent an email to TAT for a transfer, but I did not included where the shares where originated from, I need to send an additional e-mail now?
230  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: February 24, 2014, 07:15:45 PM
I apologize for a stupid question, but are there other places where I can buy stocks of ASICMINER than Havelock Investments? And if not, do I get dividends to my personal BTC address or do I get them to my Havelock Investments account?

1) just on Havelock or direct shares contacting shareholders. Basically on forums in the auction threads or contacting them personally
2) on your Havelock account, but you can withdraw to your personal offline wallet at any time at no cost

im really missing where this can gain value. Why would anyone pay over .001 if that is where the price is constantly set?

The value can increase above .001

- on sunday, when at least 100 XBT worth (I'm confident for the next weeks the cap of 100 XBT will be reached) will be bought
- after 9th week. This is obviously pure speculation, we have not examples on crypto coins lecterature that apply well to wolves

please test new qt client on windows 7 64 bit too, I've built it on a 32 bit version and only tested there
I just ran it on windows 7 64 bit.  Opened it, synched the blockchain, created a couple new addresses, closed it.  No issues; working as expected Smiley

Tested on windows 7 64 bit too, the runtime error disappeared and works ok.

Phew, I was scared about having to build statically again all libraries for 64 bit systems  Wink

What happens if someone buys in the dev's sell wall?

The pot remains unchanged but the coins destroyed will be less than bought, or I'm wrong?
235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][WOLF] InsanityCoin - coin for investors and traders on: February 20, 2014, 09:52:51 PM
sorry I didn't read all the 12 pages.

The pot address is public?
236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][HUC] Huntercoin - Human Minable - Dual Algo Scrypt / Sha256 on: February 20, 2014, 09:38:30 PM
i edited the last message.. i'm pretty sure that is the issue.. i will recompile the official now using easywinbuilder

Let me know if you need help, I had to edit a couple of things to manage to compile huntercoin on windows 7 32 bit, likely you have to do the same if you have the same OS
237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] HunterCoin Improved Client - work in progress on: February 20, 2014, 09:23:25 PM
replied in the other thread too, I'll give it a try with the stretchable window.

...
also small gui fix, should take 5 minutes for a good coder, anyone want to do?
Add arrows where the team names are, so many names can be added (so the map does not get smaller). This functionality is already there but for some reason does not display (it's possible the expansion of this dialog area stops the arrows from showing).
...

Tab names should now be fixed, tested under linux and it works for me, couldn't test it on windows so let me know if it is fine.

Pushed the source on https://github.com/pompobit/huntercoin

the windows wallet is here: http://www.mediafire.com/download/e49da4ni8t4eru4/imp_huntercoin.zip

I hope it is ok

dont' use this yet..

I am unable to use the official version after using this one..

I tried deleting all files - game.dat /nameindexfull.dat.. (also -rescan)
seems to switch back to the official, the only solution was to redownload the blockchain..
so maybe is some issue with this?
also there is some slow down with scrolling using this version.. possible due to overlay of co-ordinates and squares?

EDIT: seems just deleting the database directory in datadir allowed me to swap back without redownloading the chain... I am trying to rebuild the game.dat and nameindexfull.dat .. not sure if working.. will see

looks like i need to redownload..

don't use this just yet i think

ACTUALLY.. i think i know the issue..

probably you compiled using different version of dependencies...

db4.8.5? (if you used the easywinbuilder, this is why.. not your problem.. probably i need to recompile the official using easywinbuilder)

for now, i recommend don't use until we find the exact problem (i.e. confirm this is the problem)

In the last version I edited only a couple of files of the UI interface, so it is weird you cannot use the official...

Yes I used easywinbuilder to compile this one, but the same I did for the previous versions and nobody pointed me this issue, so or nobody tried to use the official client after mine, or is a different problem

I think instead of the squares (obviously it is ok for now), it would be better if the Hunters were Glowing.. I can edit the sprites if needed.

And I love the squares! I ask them to leave, or at least for me individually.

Pompobit , please pay attention to the following problem https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=435170.msg5254897#msg5254897

This should now have been fixed.
Download the new client and try it, it works under linux, still not tested on windows, let me know
