Buono a sapersi

Hai usato tutti riser alimentati ?

J

303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / 4x 280x mining rig on Asrock 970ex4, windows 7 doesn't detect gpus on: January 10, 2014, 11:31:37 AM
Hi,

I'm trying to let windows 7 32bit to detect all my 4 gpus (2x vapor-x 280x and 2x asus directCUII TOP 280x) with no luck.

I'm using 3x powered riser cables (1x to 16x) and 1 gpu directly attached to the motherboard (ASrock 970 extreme 4).

All I can get is having two cards detected, sometimes a get a third but windows sees it as a HD7900  Huh
I've no jumped the pins because I heard my mobo doesn't need that, but probably I'll give it a try...

Should not be a power issue, the risers are powered and my psu should be enough (1300W coolermaster gold)

Anyone with a similar configuration/mobo/gpus?

Which pins you used? With the dummy plugs?

Consigli?

might be a windows 32 bit issue? Maybe I need the 64 bit version?

here it is.

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

i have 2 computers with the same cards (some parts are different) but they have the same hash rates using same config and sdk (different amd cata).
you can check the wallet address on my screenshot to check my info reflected on the site. (while i am writing this, my correct hash power is displayed on the site and "blank" rejected hash rate. as for the fan, i need to use 80% to 100% because i'm in a tropical country.

thank you for sharing, I'll give it a try as soon as my risers arrive Wink

EDIT: I am using Asus R9 280x DC2 TOP version 1, I am getting around 780kh/s for each card.

May I ask your cgminer configuration, please?

780kh/s seems very high

The bug we had, where we got 1% extra rejects that said "duplicate share" has been resolved.

Does it mean that its ok to go --no-submit-stale again?

Yes, I was wrong about Labcoin and yes I was wrong about the how much the hash rate would increase by. I never claimed to be infallible, I've probably been wrong millions of times in my life. So what? Have you never been wrong? Who here hasn't been wrong before?

Also, how many people here predicted that the hash rate would be this high. Not many.

Does any of that invalidate the arguments I've put forth? No, of course not. Go through my history as much as you want and put up everything I've been wrong about, I'm sure that will distract people from the actual argument I made.

I don't want to discract anyone from anything, but you was blaming people for haven't heard your suggestions in past and they lost money because that. I knew you only in the labcoin thread and luckily never trusted your advices
314  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: January 03, 2014, 11:27:12 PM

Pretty much everyone called me a troll back when shares were going for 4+ BTC, ignored my arguments, told everyone else to ignore my argument and put me on their ignore list, then carried on buying shares at 4+ BTC. Those people lost shit loads of money. The arguments I made were completely obvious yet most people could not help deluding themselves. Take a look at the argument yourself and tell me if you think it was obvious. Those people lost money because they ignored the facts and listened to people blinded by greed.

pretty much everyone called you a troll when you constantly endorsed labcoin.
What about that?

What load balancing are you guys talking about?

I had US and EU pools both in my .conf file and set load-balance to true

is there a way to do it using batch command and adjusting the quota between servers?

Did I miss something?

1. Dividends are going lower because of Difficulty increase (-> Cointerra launch soon etc.)
2. No new statement from Friedcat
3. BTC price goes up
4. AM Share price goes up too ? (0.28 to 0.38@ Havelock] wtf? Grin

I'm surprised too, I'd add to list that someone is deploying batch of 25TH/s each one on Eligius (currently 250 TH/s in total), and he's not AM, so some serious competitor is going to be revealed soon.
Gen3 tapeout is 17 jan but likely we will not see miners until march/april... what is going on?

By the way, I'm happy that the share price is recovering, just I really don't know why is happening
