I think people are just cashing to jump on the new icedrill IPO. When the hype will come down as usual, they will buy back asicminer and basicminer

I don't get it, why someone should sell ActiveMining after Avalon announcement?

We have 3 competitors in the market besides asicminer: LabCoin, btcgarden and Activemining.

If the announcement is true, only ActiveMining is developing a 28nm chip, so it is the less hurted and the 20nm doesn't add so much to the performances.
So probably LabCoin and BtcGarden shareholders will jump in ActM boat.

Or am I missing something?

612  Local / Hardware/Mining (Italiano) / Re: 160 chips Avalon + assemblaggio dal group buy europeo on: August 05, 2013, 01:04:45 AM
ciao,

I don't get it. The share value proportionally rises with difficulty?

How is it possible? How do you invest the funds?
614  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread on: August 04, 2013, 02:12:20 PM

This is great. Thanks to Ken and any others involved in getting us to this point and for acknowledging the value that another team member for PR, etc can provide.

I do have to say that the pics and video are anticlimactic due to their lack of substance. No pics of Avalon chips or demo boards? No video of the device running next to a screen that shows how much it's hashing? I encourage the team to share meaningful photos and video otherwise there is no point and you're giving fodder to the FUDs.

+1

I'd also like to know who the new PR is. He is a forum member?
615  Local / Hardware/Mining (Italiano) / Re: 160 chips Avalon + assemblaggio dal group buy europeo on: August 04, 2013, 01:17:54 AM

Activemining (ala AMC) are up about 600 to 700% over the past few weeks, how much more are you expecting?

ActiveMining are now up about 200-250% respect the IPO price. And when the eASIC will announce the press release price will rise considerably.

And actually shares on bitfunder are really cheap, compared to the btct ones, so the new coins SDICE is flowing, will let people to jump on the boat.

The ActM potential is high, if they will do well an half like AsicMiner did, the price will go up to ~0.03 - 0.035
