Havelock is reopening
Labcoin Passthru (LABCO)
at 12:00 NOON, Eastern Time (in half an hour)

that's a good news
442  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: September 27, 2013, 03:31:46 PM
can we stop all the (deserved) accusations for a while?

Labcoin address just received the largest payment ever from BTCGuild: 0.5 btc

trace:

Why would they not listed on top 25 when they have at least 3TH of hashpower?

they could have less than 3TH and simply have recovered their operational hardware and lowered the payout threshold.

But if they come back in the top 25 list the price could recover a lot...

0.5 btc arrived,  to the moon!

Most likely manual payment of leftover after sporadic mining in the last day or two.

is not a manual payment, they are fresh coins from btcguild,

So did anything change since yesterday or really nothing?

And is there a statement how to move the shares?

Seriously, the only thing was an "update" about 10 hours ago, saying that 'labcoin' would be back on the team stats page of BTCGuild in about one hour. The problem is, they never showed up, and nothing came up to explain why the update, once again, failed to be true.

FIFY

What is the reason for the new drop in shareprice?

Is there an explaination how to move shares to another exchange now?

fear

no, no changes, they lied another time today and still no transfert planned

So is labcoin actually looking like its going to fail or will the value go back up? I'm wondering if I should dump my shares now that they've lost 60% of their value.

If they show up something interesting, the price could recover, but they are unable to do it and anfter the begining of OCtober will be too late because the btct shutdown.
And in the bid orderbook are only orders left for about 260 BTC. If they don't stop the panic sell with some good news, a lot of people will see the price dropping to 0.002 or less

So has 1 hour passed by? Is Labcoin back in BTCGuild?

Timezone is not specified, so we have to suppose they still have ~11 hours before they miss the deadline

Why you wouldn't at least wait til the morning to see the impact this news makes is beyond me.

I'm sorry I missed it, what kind of news are you talking about?
450  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: September 26, 2013, 12:31:48 PM
At least they are consistent in saying that the 20TH/s will come online around the 3rd/5th of October.

I don't know but "within October" sounds like "before 31 October"

What I really care about at this point is knowing exactly what's being done to make the hashing work.

What is the problem?   Who is working on it? Give us precise answers.

We do not want promises of future hashing, we want to know what is going on RIGHT NOW.

The usual shuffle is not going to work this time.

YOU MUST ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS.
452  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: September 24, 2013, 12:45:30 PM
If you think back to Asicminers early days, there was an update every thursday.
Even if the hashrate dropped to 0 at times, they did not explain themselfs in coming
days and not always was there an explanation in the update either.

It's just the chinese mentality. I guess that is why they asked TheSwede to do the PR,
but he doesn't get much information either. So just chill Wink

Well, 卐HITLER卐 was an excellent communicator...

Yes, but at least he was really ashing

@Ken, but you are US citizen no? Will that be an issue?

No, it is owned by the AMC (Belize) right now; however, it will have to be spun off to a different corporation before it can start operations, as AMC does not have the proper license to hold 3rd party funds.

Just a thought. Btct was registered in belize, also. Why your exchanger should not suffer from the same burnside's end?

If a solution would be avoid the use to US citizens, don't you think burnisde would have done it, as well?

edit: don't get me wrong, I'm a shareholder and I want ActM to succeed, but this thing about open a new exchanger scares me, I don't want it makes things go worse
454  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: September 23, 2013, 08:21:25 PM
it baffles me that anyone is selling below .0025 but whatever... I got plenty btc, just keep chompin.

Well, if you think the price is on the downswing, it doesn't much matter what price you sell at if you have the intention to buy back.

agree, and price likely will go lower before some good news, if we still can see one :\
455  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: September 23, 2013, 07:56:10 PM
I don't know why you put so much effort to persuade us that labcoin is hashing and everything will go fine. If you are so sure, why don't you simply keep quiet and buy cheap shares?

His assertion was challenged. He is defending his claim, and doing a damn good job. Those that disagree have been shifted to the weaker position, for sure.

Maybe he is right (I'm not really sure), but if it is so, why don't let people think labcoin is not hashing, so he can buy at lower price? And when the evidence will be shown just come back and saying "I told you it"?

So, how this move from btc-tc > bitfunder(?) will go actually? What shareholders needs to do?

wait for news from ken, or sell on btct and buy on bitfunder, until the prices are so close
458  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTC-TC] Virtual Community Exchange [WINDING DOWN] on: September 23, 2013, 02:06:53 PM
btct shuts down due th sec, all shares being dumped, owners of btc-trading and ltc-trading shares are bagholders... missed something?

smart people are cashing in on cheap securities...

sure, the question is, which are cheap shares and which bag shares?

If I was btc-trading-pt holder, I would have dumped to 0.00001 all my shares and bought Asicminer-pt, that have direct shares to refuge back.

But actually I only have activemining shares and I'm not sure how the things will go for those, Ken seems to have a backup plan, but who knows

459  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTC-TC] Virtual Community Exchange [WINDING DOWN] on: September 23, 2013, 01:47:51 PM
Wait, WTF did happen while I was sleeping?

Well if anyone wants a positive, putting all the shares on Bitfunder will add more liquidity to the market.

Thats all I can think of right now.
