A draw could also be a possibility in this match. They are 2 teams that both want to play football and score goals. But on Tuesday we also have the game AC Milan - Tottenham Hotspur. The English are the favorite in this game, in Milan it will be 50-50 but in 2 games I expect Tottenham to continue. I think the weakest teams in 1 match are those of the Benfica-Club Brugge match. A favorable draw for both. Benfica was also doing well in the CL last year. The coach of Bruges was fired a few weeks ago due to disappointing results in the competition. But winning the group in the CL apparently has no value anymore. Strange.

Tottenham lead 1-0 at half-time. And so Manchester City also seems to be losing points today. And for the Spurs it is also important points because they still want to qualify for the CL. For many teams it is still a golden opportunity to qualify for the CL or EL as Liverpool and Chelsea are having a bad season. For a team like Brighton, the EL would already be a great achievement. With all due respect to Brighton, in the CL it would only be sporting fun to play against the best in the world. The turnaround at Liverpool doesn't seem to be coming. This week also suffered a hopeless 3-0 defeat and they can't get the team to play football. The impact of Mane's departure may have been underestimated by many people in management.

Next week we will finally continue with the European competitions. Has been silent for a long time due to the World Cup held in Qatar. I am very curious about the showdown between Barcelona and Man United. Frenkie de Jong has undergone a stormy development in his time at Ajax, where Ten Hag was still a coach at the time. United are also in good form, but personally I think Barcelona are playing a bit better at the moment. At United there is also an ability in the team. A lot has changed since the arrival of Ten Hag. But the same can be said about Xavi's appointment at Barcelona. Other competitions in this group are slightly less interesting but certainly not boring. For Sevilla it seems to be all or nothing in this competition.

PSV has missed the opportunity to connect with the leader. 0-2 ahead with fifteen minutes to play. PSV had one man less, but Feyenoord was constantly looking for the attack. In the end, the game ended in 2-2. It is too early to say that Ajax has things in order after the 0-5 victory at Cambuur Leeuwarden, but it is good for confidence. Since Schreuder left, Heitinga has now won 2x easily. I hope that Ajax can now also get involved in the battle for the championship. But in this league it's every week changing places in the rankings, no one seems to be consistent enough.

Nobody had expected a result from PSV at Feyenoord. Because PSV lost 2 strong attackers in the winter period, and did not get any reinforcements in the attack. The new player Thorgan Hazard managed to score right away. If you are 0-2 ahead (albeit one man less) and have to play football for another fifteen minutes then you have to make sure you take the 3 points home. Otherwise you will never be champion. Especially from AZ it was very sloppy that they missed points this week in yesterday's match at Excelsior. But AZ is also still a title contender.

Wolfsburg against Bayern Munich soon. Bayern Munich will want to regain the lead again, won't it? You can safely call what they have shown in recent weeks unworthy of a club like Bayern Munich. Although not lost, but 3 draws then you basically win 6 points. And the game image wasn't too good either, by the way, in the last games. Schalke still has slight hope not to be relegated due to the performance in the last game. And the difference with the number penultimate is not very big anymore. Did it all go wrong at this club when they canceled the contract with Gazprom?
486  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: February 04, 2023, 06:27:59 PM
Schalke have made it to halftime with a 0-0 draw so far. An achievement in itself for this underperforming team this season. Dortmund achieved a nice 5-1 victory. And good for Haller that he is accurate again. He had a very difficult period when he was diagnosed with a nasty illness. Munich and Dortmund now have exactly the same number of points, only Munich has played one game less. Union Berlin is the proudest leader at the moment. It could be that Bayern Munich will not win again, as that team is not doing well. In that case, Union Berlin would remain the leader, which would be a special achievement.
487  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: February 04, 2023, 06:24:57 PM
Atletico Madrid is again extremely difficult to score, as it seems in today's match at home against Getafe. Not a miracle team, but sometimes not easy to beat. I wanted to say that it was important points for Elche because they managed to win their game against Villareal today, but they are still in last place and the gap to number 19 is a whopping 9 points. Normally something like this can't get any better. A disappointing result for Villareal, of course.
488  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: February 04, 2023, 06:21:08 PM
Some startling results. First of all, there is of course the great defeat that Liverpool has suffered. This team is doing very badly at the moment. United also won, but leader Arsenal lost at Everton and those are 3 precious points they have missed in the battle for the championship. Not a man overboard yet, the lead is still considerable on City and United can basically no longer catch up. What I mainly wonder is what measures the management of Liverpool will take to ensure that Liverpool will get out of this crisis, because this is unworthy of a club like Liverpool.
489  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: February 03, 2023, 08:50:15 PM
A pretty boring game at the moment, but anything can still happen in the 2nd half. Leverkusen is also no longer the team of a few years ago that still played very well in Europe and blew teams like Lazio Roma off the field. But Union Berlin is still 2nd in the ranking, I think we can no longer speak of a coincidence if you are in 2nd place more than half of the league. And the difference with Bayern Munich is also very small, by the way. I don't think they will go over that, but finishing 2nd would be a world achievement. And in Europe they are also active in the EL. Bayern will have to be less sloppy, otherwise it will be really exciting in this way.
490  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [CHESS] FIDE Candidates Chess Tournament 2022 on: February 03, 2023, 08:47:30 PM
Ding Liren has indeed played a bad tournament for him. Anyway, if you have a rating of 2800+ then you also have to achieve a TPR of 2800+ in order not to lose any rating points. Giri, the tournament winner is the big winner on all fronts. Tournament win, a lot of prize money and also won a lot of points for his rating. A list of all chess players with a rating of 2700 or higher is also available at www.2700chess.com
A number of talented chess players have been added. Hans Niemann is also on this list, but tournament organizers won't be thrilled with his participation because he has been accused of cheating at several tournaments. Well, innocent until proven guilty, I guess?
491  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: February 03, 2023, 11:07:25 AM
I think the list is about right with the balance of powers at issue at the moment. But the Netherlands was the worst of all teams together with Belgium. Belgium has had its golden age and now a new batch will be ready to take over. Brazil has often been number 1 in the ranking together with France for years, but has not won anything for a long time. Croatia actually did very well, a final in 2018 and a semi-final in Qatar. And eventually finished 3rd. For England it is still not possible to win a major prize. Maybe at the upcoming championships.
492  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: February 03, 2023, 10:46:47 AM
In any case, Real Madrid did what it had to do and that is to win. But the deficit is still significant to Barcelona. They play at home against Sevilla this week. On paper you would say an easy game, based on the current ranking. But Seville is still a big name and has performed quite well nationally and internationally in recent years. This is also the chance for Sevilla to show how good they can still be. But what seems more likely to be the case is that Barcelona will probably have a fairly easy and perhaps big victory. The match Barcelona - Real Madrid is only on April 5, a lot can happen in those months.
493  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: February 02, 2023, 08:05:39 PM
It's nice that we will start again soon with the Europa League. Due to the world championship played, the EL has been completely silent for a few months. Normally there are competitions earlier in the month of December. Much has been said and written about Barcelona, but both United and Barcelona are in decent shape at the moment. It will therefore be a very interesting showdown between 2 teams that currently belong in the Cl in terms of level. But last season they both weren't too good and playing in the EL is now the result of that. I wouldn't dare say who the favorite is actually. This is the best match to look forward to in the EL.

Kylian Mbappe is doubtful to appear with PSG against Bayern Munich in the first leg of the UCL playoffs. Mbappe suffered an injury during his match yesterday against Montplier, after being fouled so hard by Leo Leroy in that match. This is very detrimental for PSG considering that their opponent in the UCL will be Bayern Munich, who are currently in good condition in the domestic league. And reportedly Mbappe's injury is about 3 weeks and he will miss several other important matches including against Bayern Munich on the 14th of February.

Source: https://www.espn.com/soccer/paris-saint-germain--frapsg/story/4867114/psg-kylian-mbappe-injury-concern-face-bayern-munich-champions-league

So much anticipated trio of Lionel Messi, Neymar Da Sliva and Kylian Mbappe will finally be missed in the first game against Bayern Munich. My disturbance with Paris is that they are not as good as we think I'm the middle, so Messi will be doing that all the chances creation. He will be missed for those in runs especially against Bayern Munich next two weeks.
Bayern Munich should make sure every single chance had must be executed properly. It's a bad news for Paris anyway as they also missed out on Ziyech switching to Paris

It's hard to put the PSG team on the scales. They actually have no resistance in their own competition. They sometimes lose a match, but I think that is because of laziness because they know that they will become champions anyway. Teams like City and Liverpool play many matches against strong teams throughout the year and are tested more. Perhaps that is PSG's biggest problem, they only have the games in the CL where they are really opposed, and then they have to be tied. If they play with a vanguard without Mbappe and Messi then I think you have no chance against Bayern Munich normally. And then you play the first game at home, too bad for the audience.
495  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much time do you think you have spent gambling? on: February 02, 2023, 07:43:32 PM
Actually quite difficult to measure that. I don't think people put a clock there to keep an eye on something like that normally. Most people know approximately when they started gambling. Days or weeks and maybe even months go by without gambling. But you also need to have the financial means to gamble. If you gamble your salary, you will again have to wait until the end of the month to get paid again. Then you have people who really only gamble for fun, then you should think of an evening at the casino, for example. That might be once or twice a month.

An important game for Real Madrid tonight, at home against Valencia. They are not doing well, but we can perhaps say the same about Real Madrid. The deficit to Barcelona is already 5 points, if they don't win this match and Barcelona do, you already have a gap of 7 points. Then it becomes a difficult story. Especially the Classico between Barcelona and Real Madrid this season in Noucamp will probably be decisive. I assume that at that moment Barcelona is still first in the league. Valencia may not be the team of years ago, but they are capable of a good result against Madrid.

Usually it is true. You are then more likely to be drawn into a kind of depression, for example. If you have a large group of friends or a family, you will not be triggered to gamble very quickly. Yet there are also many situations known in which men in particular have started to gamble and have put the whole house at risk. Resulting in several breakups and divorces.
Many gamblers can hide this very well. You could also say that the people in the area are quite naive and believe everything to be true. I have never really delved into the numbers of such situations, I must say.
498  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 31, 2023, 09:10:52 PM
Not much going on at the Inter - Atalanta game at the moment. But there is still a long time to play in the 2nd half. I had expected Atalanta to attack a bit more. Inter hasn't scored easily lately. In the first half the harvest was 5 corners and a yellow card. There was nothing more to it for now. It might make a difference that it is a match for the Coppa Italia. Both teams probably want to keep the 0 and then strike last when extra time comes. But I think there will be a goal very soon in this match.
499  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 30, 2023, 06:43:29 PM
It seems that juventus problems have effected the team performance and since they lost those fifteen points they  were not able to win a draw against atalanta which is understandable but to lose at home 2 0 against monza after the great performance they showed and the winning streak they had but we really can't blame the players since they sudenly found themselves at the bottom of the table.
yes, maybe because of the point deduction sanction factor that made the team not excited to play, even though Juventus had the upper hand to beat Monza, it's just that they didn't really play well yesterday
Juventus are emotionally drained. It not easy dropping from the second place to a position some where close to the bottom. This is not the Juventus we knew from the start of the season to the point that Monza will defeat them in their home stadium. Allegri now need to do beyond setting up tactics and strategy to include boasting back the morale of his team so they can at least qualify for conference league next season.

Juventus seemed to have climbed out of a very deep valley when they managed to win 8 games in a row. They still had nice papers to compete for the championship or at least for the 2nd place. They can forget that now. This could be the first time in a very long time that Juventus will not make it to European football. Surely there will also be players with sporting ambitions who would like to play in CL next year, players such as Pogba for example. I also don't think they can keep the roster completely together if they finish 9th in this season, for example. But Napoli had been too strong for Juventus anyway because of the championship. A few weeks ago, Napoli won 5-1 at home against Juventus, those are telling numbers.
500  Economy / Gambling / Re: Arbitrage betting tips on: January 30, 2023, 06:35:41 PM
I would not advise myself to get involved in such bets. And also the big problem is that bookmakers will place a limit on your account, and then you have already placed a bet with bookmaker A and you can no longer place the required amount with bookmaker B. Bookmakers are known for absolutely not wanting these types of players. There are even known situations where they have closed player accounts. Arbitrage betting also has nothing to do with gambling anymore, in principle it is a form of cheating and it is only a matter of time before you get into trouble with it.
