I think you have some valid points here and we can use it to make the cases of account buy/sell to handle effectively as we can't say all the buyers are here to scam with the new account, some of them want to start a business or post an ANN and give an impact of higher level account in management but this does not look scammy always as they can later contribute to the betterment of the forum and become a very active part of the community. Persons who buy accounts with a neutral or positive trust are pretending to be honest and more knowledgeable members than they actually are. It is often the case that previous profiles of account's buyers were banned or have been tagged for cheating at the past. If anyone needs to remove Newbie's limitations s/he can just buy Copper member. After all, high forum ranks must show that their owners are competent people which can share experiences with other members. Therefore, in my opinion, accounts sale should be banned. |

Yes. This actually already happened once. Someone got “framed” for plagirism and theymos found out, so he reversed the ban. I’ll tru to find the post and link it here for you. Here is a link After investigation, and with help from the rest of the mod team, I've determined that inbizin = bitkoinguru$$$. He created that blog post (registering the domain in June) and then made that post in Meta in order to frame you. The moderator who actually did the banning was not a Russian moderator, but was acting upon what seemed to be a clear case of plagiarism. The thought of this type of attack had occurred to me before, but this is the first time that it's actually been done successfully. I'll have to think about countermeasures.

I support the idea that there should always be prospects for grows because there are too many "Legendaries" on the forum.  ~ Or to lock all accounts which have more than 2 years of inactivity.
I don't think is a good idea, what if I will come back after 2 years? ~ Accounts could be unlocked when members can prove ownership of the profile with the signed Bitcoin address. After long period of inactivity there is a risk that accounts will pass to hackers/spammers, etc. |

Your "brother" Criptomen was banned because of plagiarism and now it's happened to your "friend". Do your relatives have other accounts? What we have? The guy bought an account. Has not violated any rules of the forum. The account received the ban through the fault of the former owner who received $ 3000 for it. Why should the rules allow the trading of accounts, if not respected property rights? Who benefits from trading accounts on the forum?
Why do we need rules that do not work? It already looks like a fraud.

In my opinion experienced users should lead by example and to show a willingness to compromise.
Who exactly are the experienced users that should lead by example in the Russian section? [...] Reputable forum members were meant, which have years of experience on the forum, not only in Russian locale. They could remind other users that is need to make trust lists with responsibility. Being useful is not the same as being trustworthy.
