Also, impose bans on account sales on Bitcointalk, so people don't buy accounts to bypass restrictions on Newbie users that are there for a freaking reason <...>
How can anyone impose bans on account sales? Admins definitely don't have the time to investigate all of the 2 Million+ accounts here, and people sell these accounts all across the internet. <...> of registered profiles have never even posted on the forum and more than 159,000 profiles are banned. So the number of accounts that could potentially be for sale is far less than 2 millions. And in my opinion, trading of Bitcointalk accounts can be forbidden on the forum itself with no difficulty. |

По всей видимости, объявился очередной клон korner'a, уклоняющийся от бана, а именно аккаунт exp0it, который сегодня проснулся после двух месяцев перерыва и стал активно спамить в локальных ветках. В июне exp0it примечался вместе с reckon, Sorbent и Alex LZ Saver в оппозиции флага против Bitcoin SV. Сегодня exp0it стал на манер korner'a создавать закрытые и самомодерируемые темы. |

Does anybody remember how this "DT drama" with cryptohunter ( aka The-One-Above-All) started and don't you think that it was being blown out of proportion? I believe this prolonged story can end when negative feedbacks - which had arisen from a heated debate - will be removed from cryptohunter. If cryptohunter doesn't trust DT members, s/he can just use own Trust list, instead of writing critical essays about DTs throughout the forum. If cryptohunter has any facts against DT members, then let s/he public them in Reputation. It depends on you, whether you want to continue squabble or finally stop this fight. |

В теме "Предложения от сообщества", в разделе Meta, я ранее рекомендовал показывать в профиле статистику о количестве отправленных и полученных меритов, по которой было бы видно число заработанных меритов после 24 января 2018, и то, насколько пользователь склонен хранить мериты у себя. Полагаю, многим участникам пригодилась бы подобная опция. Add information to the users' profiles how much merit had been received and sent. Example

есть пользователи, которые никогда не проявляли активности в темах про мерит. их интересуют только аспекты крипты, технари. Я могу поверить, что они не считают это важным для развития. Мне кажется им достаточно объяснить систему. Но как это сделать корректно, если они даже не интересуются этим?)))
Мерит важен тем, что его значение часто с первого взгляда позволяет определить, качество постов участника на форуме. Нужно оговориться, что речь идёт про полученные мериты от других пользователей, а не начисленные, поскольку гораздо вероятнее, что пост Member'а с 80 меритами будет нести в себе что-то более содержательное, чем комментарий Hero с 500 начисленными баллами. Однако, когда дело касается Newbie с более чем 500 Activity и 0 меритов, то ситуация совершенно очевидная. Участники, отмечая меритами качественные сообщения, помогают профилям хороших постеров постепенно избавляться от ограничений на низких рангах, и стать более заметными на фоне других учётных записей, чтобы к их мнению чаще прислушивались, и таким образом повышается уровень дискуссии на пользу сообщества. Но мне интересно любое предложение по поводу холдеров, потому что мы не смогли найти хорошего решения где-то с месяцев 10 назад.
Например, за каждые розданные в общей сумме 10 меритов прибавлять 1 балл к меритам отправителя (кроме "источников меритов"). Таким образом, стимулировать передачу заслуг не принуждением, а поощрением. |

Поводов для бана korner'a было несколько: низкое значение тем и сообщений, троллинг и уклонение от бана. Комментарий модератора: Есть несколько запросов с пруфами (по пунктам 1, 3, 25), но наши англоязычные коллеги не спешат. Как и с tor`oм, в своё время.

If I'm not mistaken, local moderators are able only to "Nuke" members resulting in a removal all posts of the user. It's not necessary that all spammer's messages are violating the forum rules, so if the dozens or even hundreds of posts will be deleted in one fell swoop, that could have an adverse effect on the topics where the user commented. In my opinion, along with the "Nuke" local moderators should have also an option to ban members in a standard way to leave their comments. |

At present, there is a limit for local moderators that they can only ban Newbies with less than 28 Activity, which can be achieved in a month of active posting. Some spammers in local boards (especially those who knowing about this feature) may not blatantly violate the rules at first, but upon reaching the 28 Activity they would receive some discretion and could bring much chaos to the entire local section. Considering the workload of the global moderators and admins, the local spammers become practically invulnerable for a while, since decision regarding them is often a drawn-out process. For example, the incident with korner's accounts in the Russian section. There is a suggestion that local moderators have been able to ban Newbies independent of Activity, or increase the existing limit from 28 to 56 Activity. |

Вот сейчас как раз и нашлось за что. Alex LZ Saver забанен. Правда не знаю, перманентно или временно. Но если временно, то всё-равно это уже кое-что - второго (перманентного) бана уже легче будет добиться. На данный момент дла бана новичков локальными модераторами действует ограничение в 28 Activity, которое достигается всего за 4 недели комментирования. Отдельные пользователи, зная об этой специфике, могут поначалу грубо не нарушать правила, но затем, при достижении 28 Activity, у спаммеров развязываются руки, и они способны продолжительный срок мешать деятельности всего локального раздела, поскольку становятся практически недосягаемы для местных модераторов, и много времени уходит на принятие необходимых решений в отношении таких участников. Есть вариант поднять в Meta вопрос перед администрацией форума о том, чтобы локальные модераторы имели возможность банить новичков в независимости от количества набранного Activity, или повысить существующую планку с 28 до (условно) 56 Activity, приводя пример клонов korner'а как показательный.
