22  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Message to all people who panic when crypto price goes down! on: February 06, 2018, 07:57:05 PM
crypto as a market is finished - total crash. Everyone is bailing out and cashing for what little fiat they can get.

this is a sustained sell off that has never been seen before.

what happens when regulation comes in? will the price go up or down?

blockchain as a technology will be successful but the coins and tokens are done for.

i hope its not true but it looks that way.

It looks like that from your point of view, i do not agree with you. Each January there was a dip, besides bitcoin is getting bombarded with heavy news regarding the regulations and bans in certain Asian countries. The elite does not want poor people getting rich, however i do believe people power can prevail and crypto currencies will go high, that or some people will start eating d***s.

I totally agree with your opinion here and now there has been a bit of a rebound and the price is climbing slightly - i guess i am still at noob status lol Wink

Great post Sted - I like it when people take the time out to explain to others how a feature works - good job mate Wink
25  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 10,000 to invest - what would you do? on: February 01, 2018, 02:22:00 PM
keep your cash and stay away from crypto right now - have you seen the latest prices? If you had invested that when you first posted you would have massive losses on your hands.
26  Economy / Speculation / Re: The big schock coming! But to which levels? 8500 or further? on: February 01, 2018, 02:19:06 PM
no-one knows what is going to happen but there has been 50%+ loss from january and it is still falling.

the price of bitcoin is still massively inflated so it should stall further.

i am holding altcoins and if bitcoin goes then i hope that some of the alts takeover and moon Wink
27  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: An exchange recommendation for a newbie please on: January 27, 2018, 12:20:18 PM
There are a few to choose from to be honest - the first one I started with was Bittrex. It has loads of coins to choose from and is fairly easy to navigate and use. Binance is one I have used as well that is quite good. They use googles 2FA system where you can have a code generate on your mobile/cell phone and this adds an extra security layer for you.

Stay away from bitgrail atm - withdrawals on hold I believe.

Hope this helps mate and good luck Wink
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CLC] ClarksCoin - Quark | PoW/PoS | Masternodes | No ICO | 2% premine on: January 27, 2018, 12:35:33 AM
Yes, some shameless copying and pasting but our development team has the solution to make ClarksCoin ASIC resistant and a full technical explanation will be made in our whitepaper.

Another Newbie launching a coin? Are you intending to have a pre-sale of masternodes by any chance?  Roll Eyes

C.

Oh, I just checked your discord:

Pre-sale details:

• A reservation for a ClarksCoin masternode will be 0.5 BTC
• Payment will only be accepted in Bitcoin for the duration of the pre-sale.
• To reserve a ClarksCoin masternode send 0.5 BTC this address: <their address>
• DM @Clodagh your Bitcoin transaction ID.
• You will be given a 'CLC Early Adopter' role in this Discord server giving you access to the private early adopter channel.

Pre-sale end details:

• The pre-sale ends on 20th February 2018 when the wallet is released and the genesis block has been created.
• Everyone with a reservation will be contacted individually by @Clodagh to request your CLC address.(edited)

THIS HAS THE SAME FEEL AS RECENT SCAM COIN WHITEROAD

Please be careful here. Why would you give btc to someone that hasn't even released a wallet?

C.

Good spot btw - is there a list of these coins at all that are being released and identical or at least very similar - that would be handy for people to know - like a scam watch stickied thread etc..
29  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to gain more tokens ? on: January 27, 2018, 12:27:06 AM
airdrops only if you have no starting capital - then you can either hold or sell these and diversify your portfolio - from humble beginnings... something ... eh... i forget .... dammit Wink

Good Luck!
30  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I buy bitcoin using dollar on: January 26, 2018, 10:21:01 AM
I used coinbase to buy my bitcoin - really easy and straightforward - you can pay with a credit or debit card. I'd check that out or google buy bitcoin with cash.

Good luck Wink
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happened to Bitconnect? on: January 18, 2018, 02:06:36 PM
it shut up shop and then the price tanked - i dont know if it has reopened though. It's still listed on coinmarketcap.com
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I sell my airdropped tokens quickly or hold on to them? on: January 14, 2018, 12:30:34 AM
right here is an example - a personal one - Rebellious airdrop gave out about 3-4k in tokens. The token was listed on Bit Z exchange and skyrocketed. I could have sold my 3k stack for 1.25 ETH but I held because I didn't know what the price would do - I eventually cashed out for 0.35 ETH after a massive price crash and dump.

I do not know what the price might be in the future but right now I know that I missed out on 1.25 ETH which is shit lol.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Rebellious on Bit-Z on: January 12, 2018, 10:46:47 PM
The price has dropped quite a bit from ATH - hopefully it will regain after the dumpers have their fill.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WARNING DeepOnion is a SCAM, proof inside! on: January 06, 2018, 12:44:38 AM
if you read the deeponion whitepaper - its a university level rip off -even the format - just look at it - if you cant recognise this then you have never been to university clearly.

read through it seriously - it is full of fluff - the coin has nothing at all - pure padded out nonsense.

what i will give is credit to the guy who created the idea of deeponion - well done sir - you are now a millionaire!

the whitepaper is gash of the highest level - if i was marking this paper - i would seriously be asking lots of questions.

no tech - no backup - no future - after 40 weeks airdrop come back to me and see whats what.

i dont know what more to say to the potential joiners - is anyone going to want to join the airdrop at $5 a coin?

this game now is to earn a few hundred - fair play if this is for you
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Biggest profit from an AirDrop? on: January 02, 2018, 02:34:38 PM
i made about $500 from ebtc airdrop and the same from eltcoin airdrop - i wanted to hold but price was a rollercoaster - sold out and invested in some of the top 10 coins for stability - done well so far and can't complain Wink

Keep an eye out for airdrops because they can be a useful way of getting some free cash to get iinto crypto and make a start on your portfolio.
36  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to withdraw bitcoin? on: January 02, 2018, 02:30:44 PM
send your BTC to the original exchange you bought them with fiat - convert back to fiat - withdraw.

coinbase is an example of an exchange you could use for doing this.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Please sent me your ETH. on: December 29, 2017, 02:52:16 PM
Give me your bitcoin address and I'll sort you out with one please.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WARNING DeepOnion is a SCAM, proof inside! on: December 29, 2017, 12:44:28 AM
hi, it's a total ponzi - price going higher - marketing to the sheep - it is tempting you to buy in and that is what a ponzi does - preys on your natural greed - if deeponion isnt a ponzi then i do not know what is.

They gave new members a way to get onions by making them do a shitload of marketing for fuck all basically - shill the onions.

If you look at their community forums on their official webpage - whenever someone asks a genuine concerned question - funnily enough a mod is nowhere to be found - amazing eh? But they rewarded these shills over christmas - not you couple of hundred onion owners!

Cash out now and invest in a project that has proper tech, a proper team (who the fuck is even on the onion team? Bet none of you could give me a name), isn't a copy & paste job of another coin and lastly is being continuously developed.

deeponion will go higher in price of that i have no doubt but it will crash hard eventually when the veil is lifted.

Bitcoin rival - get a fucking grip!

Regards

(maybe i will start a coin that does this shit - pure planned - dump after airdrop finishes) - 1m-2m in my backpocket for 40 weeks work Wink
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XCOIN] xCoin - New Cryptocurrency - Easy to Mine (for now!) - HMQ1725 on: December 28, 2017, 10:29:18 PM
hi - awesome under the radar coin launch! Been mining since last night but I've noticed the difficulty increasing a lot.

I hope this does get listed and can go places - good luck Wink
40  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin is going to crash? on: December 28, 2017, 06:07:34 PM
The price is starting to recover slightly right now - always some big news from Asia rattles Bitcoin and the price tumbles and so do all the altcoins - it's a regular pattern.

I wonder if we can take advantage of this?
