What an amazing year for UNO! Last year on this date, 1 UNO was about $1.65. Now it's nearly $90! This thread has slowed quite a bit. It's true, many of us have now moved over to Telegram. The price rise is of course great though mostly due to the increase in BTC. Also if you are here any chance of an answer to how the change in reward has been implemented? Has the total number of coins increased or the reward schedule shortened? The community adopted a change in reward at block 104200. It sets a meaningful block reward at .01 Uno. The impact on inflation is negligible, but it accelerates the mining schedule from 300 years to 30 years. |

Unobtanium has forked to increased rewards for miners 10x since block 1042000.
The current reward is .01 Uno, which today is $8 per 3 minute block.
Please update your UNO wallet before resuming merge mining of UNO.

Hello, Unoverse! An update is now available from developer Bryce Weiner. This update improves wallet connectivity and will increase mining rewards in an effort to diversify Unobtanium's network. Please re-compile your wallets before block 1,040,000 which is in about 5,000 blocks. Thanks to Shinohai for compiling a signed Windows QT wallet, which is available now on Unobtanium.uno, or via this link: http://unobtanium.uno/download/Unobtanium.zipYou can compile your own wallet from: https://github.com/unobtanium-official/UnobtaniumAn updated wallet for Electrum is not available at this time. Every time BTC hits a new high, I hear from "friends" who I told about it years ago. They wonder why I didn't insist they buy Bitcoin.
Now I say I sold out long ago, or that it was all stolen.

The ridiculous pump and dump as you call it was nothing to do with uno,just Bittrex up to its old tricks of pumping a coin before delisting to sell off there wallet supply.Most old timers in crypto know that this happens and get a chance to sell a portion of their coins at a silly rate only to buy back later after the dump.
Proof? d00d proof was what you just saw happen. Delist notice. Most withdraw deposits. (ie Limited supply). Then jack to 300 confirms (like 15hrs). Next power dump. Next power pump. Laughable. Even criminal. UNO may take a while to stabilize after this wild ride. (plus the BTC top needs to blow off) But it is best to be no longer attached to such a shenanigans exchange house. Bittrex still has the highest number of coins and volume offered, what alternative would you recommend ? They started as a very customer driven alternative to Polo, it would be a disastrous blow to all alternative currencies if Bittrex turns out to be an immoral organization... Is there a logical explanation to why a coin would pump so high right before getting delisted ? It's not like an exchange would veto its own decision to delist if volume suddenly increases, and people who don't liquidate on time would lose all their coins, so if anything, an impending delisting should lead to the collapse in price, so the opposite pump was really very strange behavior indeed... It looks to me like someone wanted to get as much Uno as possible before the market closed. Support of that theory is that the #1 wallet added nearly 4K of uno after.  |

I downloaded the electrum uno wallet for my mac OS X and foolishly, didnt try to test the wallet first with a small amount. after transferring my entire balance of uno, I see that the electrum wallet is not connected to server. I don't seem to have an option to switch to any other servers aside from kraken.cyptap and cetus.cryptap which neither of them work. Any suggestions?
Please help me with info on how to get my electrum uno wallet to connect to a sever. Getting desperate here. In Electrum UNO, go to Tools > Network un-check "Auto connect" In the box next to "Auto connect", type: electrum1.unobtanium.uno re-check "Auto connect" You should be good.
