I agree. Lets get UNO back on the Blocknet radar. We've come too far and worked too hard for this to just fall by the wayside.

This morning, it seemed we had a consensus for BIP65 for 0.11.0/0.10.5  nodes, both of which support bip65.
I'm trying to locate and cleanup the remaining old fashioned nodes below 0.10.5.  

Does anyone trade at NLEXCH.com?  If so, please help me by contacting their support people and asking if they have updated to 0.11.0 yet.

This is an important update for enabling BIP65 consensus that will enable checklocktimeverify
BIP65 has been active in Bitcoin for nearly 5 years. The UNO network wants to enable this to enhance exchange safety and enable p2p 'atomic swap' apps.  We need a consensus on the UNO network, which we have, but we want EVERYONE using the 0.11.0 wallet for the best network experience.

" In late 2015, the BIP65 soft fork[3] redefined the NOP2 opcode as the CheckLockTimeVerify (CLTV) opcode, allowing transaction outputs (rather than whole transactions) to be encumbered by a timelock. When the CLTV opcode is called, it will cause the script to fail unless the nLockTime on the transaction is equal to or greater than the time parameter provided to the CLTV opcode. Since a transaction may only be included in a valid block if its nLockTime is in the past, this ensures the CLTV-based timelock has expired before the transaction may be included in a valid block. "

The Unobtanium wallet has been updated to 0.10.5 to incorporate BIP65.
This update incorporates CHECKLOCKTIMEVERIFY which is necessary to continue developing UNO's DEX market on BlockDX exchange.  

BlockDX is a true Decentralize Exchange that implements Atomic Swap trading.  This means that instead of trading "tokens" of coins and being dependent on gateway to exchange your tokens into "real" cryptocurrency, with BlockDX you will actually continue to hold the real private keys to your real currency.  If you want to trade BlockDX, be sure to update to 0.10.5. Old wallets will still work on the network but will cause problems if you try to use them for Dex trading & atomic swaps. Please update so you don't get left behind.

Despite the efforts of management to reduce cost and return the business to profitability, it was decided the appointment of liquidators was, in the best interests of customers, staff and other stakeholders.

The liquidators are focused on securing the assets for the benefit of all stakeholders. While this process and investigations take place, trading on the exchange is suspended.

“Given the complexities involved we expect the investigation to take months rather than weeks.”

The liquidators are also working with independent experts and the relevant authorities with regards to the company’s obligations.

Grant Thornton will be contacting all customers and suppliers about its appointment in the next few days.

Big volume for UNO today.

It seems a large UNO wallet that was hacked has finally made its way to Coinexchange and is being dumped.
The theft was announced months ago and some adept UNO wallet watchers have been follow it.

Bleutrade is up now.  I hope this isn't the start of something.

News today from Freiexchange, which trades Uno.




Someone dumped Freiexchange's Freicoin (FRC) down to almost zero today.
We are waiting to learn more about Unobtanium on Frei.

If there is still any interest in Unicoin, we could setup atomic swap trading on decentralised exchange, BlockDx.

My small stash of unic along with the smaller size of the blockchain made it a good test coin for me as I learned about setting up a snode on BlockDx.  The test succeeded.




The easiest way to get started on BlockDx would be a Block/Unicoin pair.  To trade it, you would have to run a copy of BlockNet-qt and Unicoin-qt on your computer.

Then, you would install the BlockDX exchange software, which gives you a trading GUI like this:

I understand if there's no interest. I've been around Unic since it launched, and I have a soft spot for older coins. If there is interest, I'l be glad to keep a block/unic and uno/unic market, and maybe some others later.

What I like about BlockDx is that it is truly decentralized. You control your own private keys,  atomic swaps happen very quickly, no exchange can de-list you, no exit scams, no exchange hacking, no kyc, no regional restrictions on who can access trading.

If you decide you want to play along, the most difficult thing will probably be editing a file called xbridge.conf.  Because Unicoin isn't "officially" supported yet by BlockDx community, you would have to add Unic manually to xbridge.conf (in windows, this file is inC:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\BlocknetDX  )

make sure your your username and password match what is in your unicoin.conf file.
Before trading, you will need to encrypt your wallets, and then unlock your wallets.

To unlock Unicoin,  go to the Console and type:

walletpassphrase YourPasswordHere 10000

The 10000 is the number of seconds the wallet will be unlocked.  You can put any number that suits you.

If you know your way around a qt wallet, its not too difficult.  If you don't, then you'll have a learning curve.

There are lots of orders on BlockDx.  Go pick up a small one, give it a try.

If you're running Unobtanium-qt, then you're halfway to the Uno/Block market.  All you need is Blocknet-qt, and the BlockDX client.

Lets do Bisq now, too!   I have trades on Bisq and BlockDX.

If the Bisq devs don't see trades on UNO at least every two months, the UNO could be removed from Bisq. Lets not risk it.  There are big things happening at Bisq, with the pending release of Bisq Dao.



UNO needs to be a part of Bisq.network AND BlockDx.  Decentralization and a sophisticated and saavy user base that understands decentralization is another reason why Unobtanium will survive far into the future.
