That move by PRC is going to cost the Chinese exchanges bigly. I moved btc to cash at 1029, but missed the bottom. I was certain we were headed for the 700's. Oh well, easy come, easy go. This bet still has $30 to play with.

So when's the next big leg down for Bitcoin? Or is it all up hill from here? Anyone in the Unoverse have thoughts on that?

Check the hidey hole for an update.

Rockchain is securely locking in your blocks, now being hashed at 1,300 THS (1.3 PHS).

Yes, value is a relative thing.
I don't know if the price will go up or down or if I will be rewarded for my stubbornness.
It has been a tough slog down and there's probably not too much more I can absorb at this price (which is expensively cheap).
Though it would not take much to move the price up, holding it there is tiring, like swimming against a rip tide.
A lot of Uno has traded hands at .001, so to push it up to .002 would probably meet a lot of resistance now.
And all the while the Cryptsy Uno just hangs over my head.
People who don't want to be in UNO should sell their UNO. But I am going to stay a stubborn bagholder.

Ugh... Blueman that last one is terrible.
*barfs*
Yes, we need to get to page 707 quick. That one gave me nightmares last night.

The android wallet app (Unobtanium Wallet) will need an update because its list of peers is no longer valid.
In the mean time, users can go to Settings | Settings and enter in a trusted peer to keep the app synced.
Thanks, Hash. You know you can find lots of active UNO nodes listed at https://chainz.cryptoid.info/uno/#!network I had not noticed. Since Cryptapus' dice games cleaned me out, I haven't refilled the mobile wallet. I find the mobile wallet a perfect way to take my gambling habit with me wherever I go. I will be updating the Android Wallet with a list of nodes that work. Does anyone use this app? I use it. It's my app of choice for playing the Dice games at cryptap.us/uno/dice Coinomi is also a good mobile app, but I feel a little more confident in the Hash Engineer Android app. Nothing against Coinomi, but what if they got shutdown tomorrow... I can always export the private keys from the Hash wallet.

Bryce is engaged and has been following our discussion about accellerating the UNO reward in the face of declining miner rewards. It was his question, actually. Today he asked about what you guys would think about soft forking UNO to allow SigInt. Not sure what it is? Watch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QYZv92F2kCwAlthough there's plenty of room in UNO blocks presently, supporting Segwit in a softfork might have some usefulness for developers down the road, and would keep UNO as a viable fast alternative to Btc core. This technology could be softforked into Uno with no disruption to the rockchain. I'm glad BW is looking down the road and testing the waters of this community. He cares what you think.

The new reward will be .00195312, or maybe .00195313. There's a 9th digit to an even division by two, which will either round up or down.
I am going to set the fees in your wallet to .01 UNO, at least. I encourage everyone else to also set a fair fee for miners. It's still a tiny fraction of what you would pay to move BTC. Lets show our miners that we care.
0.00195312 it is, the new reward. Don't forget to follow IMZ's example. Be generous with those fees.

300 more blocks to go.
Block 900,000 should arrive in 02:00 UTC on 30 January, 2017.

UNO is on the verge of its latest halvening. at block 900,000, and the current reward will be cut in half.
Hypothetically speaking... what would you guys think if UNO's emission schedule was accelerated, say to 100 years, or 50 years, instead of 300 years?
Short term, it would increase payments to miners and encourage more hashing. It would also increase inflation (although it would still remain very low).

Just for namesake it might be fun to have a SUPERNODE! ... ? Almost any full node that's on AWS or a high bandwidth net with ports open is technically a "supernode"... If you have coin to throw around, I would suggest funding more electrum-uno servers considering there are only two and they are both mine (not on a "supernode" ) https://github.com/cryptapus/electrum-server-unoOr any other infrastructure projects are probably better investments... my 0.00000002 UNO I'm willing... just unable. All of the nodes I am running are on Windows servers.

There is some discussion about UNO nodes. The network is strong. These are nodes sponsored by known community members.
Community Sponsored Nodes These nodes are sponsored and managed by known members of the UNO community. addnode=52.64.127.231 Sydney, Australia, sponsored by 'D L EX.' through 10/2/2017. addnode=52.19.39.5 Ireland (W. Europe), sponsored by Anonymous through 10/4/2017 addnode=52.221.247.224 Singapore, sponsored by Bitcoin Charlie addnode=52.57.77.14 Frankfurt, Germany, Sponsored by FallingKnife through 10/1/2017.
I think there are others as well (I also run US nodes in California and Ohio on AWS).

And today's Fake Noooz? Wa ha ha!!! 'The late-night robbery of a Montreal grocery store last night resulted in the apparent theft of an on-site bitcoin ATM.' And a spokesperson noted also: 'The suspect, Petie Dumbperp, was caught shortly afterwards, cutting the ATM open with an oxy torch in his mom's basement. 'Dang,' he said, 'I was gonna fill my suitcase with Bitcoin, and fly to the Bahamas!' http://www.coindesk.com/montreal-bitcoin-atm-stolen-late-night-robbery/I just looked into Bitcoin ATM's again. Do they make any money? I can't see how. The nearest one to me is 140 miles, and requires an appointment and ID. $100 limit.

2 tons of UNO traded on Cryptopia today! Meanwhile, at Bittrex, you don't dare send any UNO to the exchange.
