I would like to thank all of you who purchased a node! Not only does it help the network but you are helping the uno price by holding the Amount in UNO. Thank you to the best community in crypto! In other news, Keep sbacking up the truck! +2Un Here. @FK can you drop us a list of the added nodes? Or I am not knowing where to find a listing of current node locations - I am sure it is somewhere on cryptoid, but could not find it. @Kingn56 I agree, best community out there! I have them in the OP. Here's what's up so far. I'm working on BC's node today, which will be in Singapore. addnode=52.57.77.14 Frankfurt, Germany, Sponsored by FallingKnife through 10/1/2017. addnode=52.64.127.231 Sydney, Australia, sponsored by 'D L EX.' through 10/2/2017. addnode=52.19.39.5 Ireland (W. Europe), sponsored by Anonymous through 10/4/2017 addnode=52.221.247.224 Singapore, sponsored by Bitcoin Charlie If you notice any issues, just PM me and I'll reboot the thing. They shouldn't need too much attention though. That's what I'm gambling, anyway. You can also get a list of nodes/peers that are seen by different services: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/uno/#!network https://coinexchange.io/network/peers/UNOhttps://c-cex.com/?id=ws&shownodes=uno

Yeah, so... A new node in Ireland has been added to the CGA network at addnode=52.19.39.5 This is part of the Unobtanium community's sponsored node project, where a sponsor pays for an Unobtanium node and can then also select a 2nd coin they like to be added to the server. This anonymous sponsor chose CGA. The node will be up through October 4, 2017. We hope its a useful addition to your network. Good luck to CGA from your friends at UNO.

From a quick look at the nodes It would Appear Asia And South America do not have many, might be a good place to start? Tons in north america and a handful in europe.
I am always partial to SA, however, in this case, it would seem more beneficial to node in Asia? More growth? Whatever the community thinks will generate the best return / results. I have some bad news on Sao Paulo. AWS charges 2x for that region. Its the most expensive. I'll think we'll have to pass on South America with AWS, unless someone wants to foot the diff ($10/mo total). In addition to Frankfurt and Sydney, we are also adding Ireland today at 52.211.157.41, sponsored by Kim Jong Un. UNO for this project meet me at uVZZ8kEBxPyoDgEdempjJbxg8fM8pFUVKM.

re: UNO node
I am very interested in this concept. If a platform/process can be created where I donate X amount of UNO per month, then I will send my subscription fees monthly.
I'd be very happy if i can piggyback <coin of choice> on the server I personally sponsor.
TLDR; LIKE THE FOCUS ... global routed nodes ... I'm willing to fund a node via UNO month by month.
Redundancy, reliability, strength
Sure, i could work with you on that. Just say which region of the world, and name the piggy-back coin.

Looks like an auction for the UNO lot is on the horizon. If I were a whale I'd try to hold down spot UNO until then... grab a large slice of the auction... then pull the sell orders and pump spot. I wonder if the UNO will be broken into multiple lots? That might prevent a single whale from controlling such a large percentage. Most likely they will follow the lead of the U.S. Marshalls who auctioned off the Silk Road Bitcoin and accept sealed bids.

For anyone need a node, the UNO community has a project that might be helpful to you while Marcetin is away. UNO has a strong network, and your coin can piggyback on a UNO node for us$5/mo. Read more in this BCT post.UNO's node project is not a profit making venture. If Marcetin returns, I will gladly remove this. But since he's awol and some altcoins need nodes, contact me if looks like a fit for you.

Marcetin has always been a friend, so its sad to see him inactive here. I hope he is ok. There's a lot of demand for Bitnodes. I've used them myself.

The UNO network is strong, but if you would like to help make it stronger, consider sponsoring a node.
My actual cost of adding a UNO node through AWS is approximately us$60/year ($5/month). I have experience doing this, and now have an image that lets me stamp them out pretty fast.
Let me know if you would like to sponsor a UNO node, and I will add your node to the OP with a "Sponsored by <Your Name>". Yes, I accept UNO. I will set it up and manage everything on your behalf. You can select the region (East US, West US, Europe, India, Australia, South America, Japan, Korea, Singapore, etc). I will tie these node together to create a tight network
BONUS: These stable little Windows servers can handle 2 different coins (as long as the blockchain is < 1GB and not too torrid. I couldn't operate a BTC node, for example).
So if you sponsor a UNO node, I can piggy back another altcoin on the same server for no additional cost (as long as it has a stable and working Windows wallet).
This is a way to improve UNO's network and help other altcoins in the process.
Lets strengthen the network, provide a list of known and trusted UNO community sponsored nodes, and help some other altcoins in the process.
GOAL 1: Add 20 new trusted and interconnected connected nodes across all global regions. Redundancy, reliability, strength will help ensure that UNO remains among the strongest and most reliable cryptocurrency networks.
GOAL 2: Support the price of UNO. The annual cost of a node is us$60 in the day's UNO equivalent (47 Un today). Thats my server cost, no profit added (and I pay any bandwidth overrun). I intend to hodl Uno payment for orders.
GOAL 3: Help other altcoins, combine our mutual interests, share our community's expertise, and maybe even ignite some interest in the altcoin<>Uno pair on Cryptopia.co.nz, if one exists. Its an outreach. The UNO community shares your interest in keeping the servers up, since our interests are combined.

Hi IMZ. Good to see you here.

I put up a permanent UNO node in Frankfurt at 52.57.77.14. Feel free to connect.

Seems ok now. If the problem continues for you, let me know.

I'm hanging on the chat room at Unobtanium.uno. Let me know if this is something you think would be useful to the UNO community going forward.
Look for the "Chat Room" tab on the right hand side of your monitor.

"Difficulty readjustment every 2016 Blocks - same as BTC - No Gravity Wells "
Egads. Thats asking for problems from profit switching pools and mean spirited miners. KGW would be a smart move. Anyone know which block for the next difficulty adjustment?

Is there still a dev for UNB? I suggest looking into auxpow with Bitcoin. Dedicated sha256 networks will not survive into the future due to the economics of it all. I'll put 1 ths on this for awhile, to try and help out a little.

I added a chat room to Unobtanium.uno
Check it out and if you guys like it, maybe Learminer will let us keep it.

Crypto.cat is back up, after having gone down for a time for updates. It would be easy to do.
