I don't think it will be easy for the Chinese to get oil from Antarctica. According to international treaties, all types of extractive activities are banned there. In addition to this, almost the entire region is claimed by the UN members, such as France and New Zealand. IMO, the Chinese should better concentrate on the petroleum deposits of the South China Sea.

It seems there are many news coming out from time to time , that many bitcoin related businesses successfully raised large of of money. How haven't the bitcoin price reflected this?
this is my concern too, all these good news about funds that are raised for bitcoin, and yet the price is tanking, something isn't right here two possibility, they are fake despite the good source, this because "someone" want that not only whales play with the market, and he want to encourage everyone else to join, or they are real but the funds aren't invested yet... Price is a function of supply and demand. There are plenty of supply with little demand. Beside, the news said "smart contract", which has nothing to do with bitcoin. |

 Funny man! If bitcoin is still a thing in 10 years, I guarantee you it will be worth over $1,000 USD. Don't get me wrong, I am a firm believer in blockchain technology. And I am pretty certain blockchain technology will still be around in 10 years in one form or another (improved version). As for bitcoin, it is a good experiment and it is showing promising results for blockchain tech. That is about the only benefit bitcoin has in its still somewhat short existence. |

From what I read, I think they are more interested in the blockchain technology rather than bitcoin itself. Since they didn't reveal into detail what they are up to, I supposed it has something to do with another altcoin? No...Or I see creation of new database to support some products that is also based on public ledger, either way, still has nothing to do with bitcoin.
More likely trying to integrate the blockchain technology into existing banking/finance sector. Could save a lot of paperwork and layoff more than a dozen departments. |

Yes, I thought that arbitrage will correct any difference among the different markets, but it's didn't. BTC-E is always lower, sometimes the it's up to $10. Have you compare the deposit fee for both exchanges? |
