81  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's Be Honest. We Are Waiting for $100/BTC to buy on: September 30, 2015, 03:30:09 PM
Let's cut the crap. Most of us are just waiting for Bitcoin to finally hit $100 to buy a huge quantity. Am I right or talking out my ass?

Talking out of your ass.

When the price hit 100, everyone will panic and no one will buy.
82  Economy / Economics / Re: What's the next big announcement you think might make BTC value rise ? on: September 22, 2015, 08:04:46 PM
I can see quite a few announcements and yet the price has not been going positive this last few months.

To those who think the price will rise, are you expecting something to happen in the near future and if so what do you think will move the price up?

Price might sky rock if it is listed on Nasdaq.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto Arbitrage between 15 exchanges, 180 coins supported on: September 16, 2015, 05:19:01 AM
Any feedback regarding the 2 bots mention in this thread?
84  Economy / Speculation / Re: quiet before the storm. $180 coming! on: September 08, 2015, 06:20:38 PM
Don't be fooled by the quiet and slowly rising price. The next dump will bring it all the way down to at least $180.
There simply is no demand.
Put your buy orders around 150-160.

Will do. I am slightly more optimist and place some orders in the 170-180 range.
85  Economy / Economics / Re: Stock Market Crash =\= Bitcoin Surge on: September 01, 2015, 05:35:20 PM
Bitcoin is treated more as an asset than a currency because of the small number of firms accepting it as payment. The stock market crash causes the strength of the dollar to drop and so people buy bitcoins as a safe place to put there dollars since they for see the dollar losing considerable value in the future. Same way people also can buy other commodities like gold or other metals to safe guard their money during markets crash.

Stock market crash means the value of the dollar goes up as people are dumping stock and holding dollar.
86  Economy / Speculation / Re: This drama is ridiculous... on: August 28, 2015, 07:40:57 PM
Why are so many being a pu$$y?

So the price is lower and has been. Who cares? Average down. Keep at it. Hold long-term. Eventually you'll break even and profit.

If Bitcoin fails, it will be years away. Too many dark websites still use it. Too many lost coins. Too many big holders.

Some people need to consider using logic instead of emotion. Smh.

Why don't you use the strategy and be glad no one is stealing your secret?
87  Economy / Speculation / Re: Accumulation Phase on: August 20, 2015, 05:40:44 PM
Once the XT drama is over and we're approaching the halving, no one has ANY excuse to whine about not getting a chance to buy enough coins. We've been in the 200's for almost a year. You can only blame yourself if you aren't and/or haven't been accumulating all year.

Also, to the panickers and people spreading fud, look at bitcoinrichlist.com. Do you see any of these big dawgs selling? No. I rest my case. There's a winner and a loser in every game. Once you sell you've lost.

No problem sitting out when the price is above 150+. May start buying it if drop below 150 and will definitely buy at below 100.
88  Economy / Speculation / Re: Litecoin halving and BTC price on: August 16, 2015, 09:05:01 PM
I don't think litecoin is a player anymore.
I can imagine a small amount of btc being sold for ltc quickly before the halving.
Maybe people sometimes forget those halvings are accounted for in the value long before it actually happens.

Look at it another way, the price of litecoin is already so low it can't possibly drop any further.
89  Economy / Economics / Re: Super Thursday: Bank of England votes 8-1 to hold interest rates on: August 08, 2015, 06:01:35 PM
There is no reason to increase interest rates in UK,not just England, at the moment. Inflation has been falling and there is no surge in borrowing.

Keeping interest rate low for too long will set off the stage for another disaster.
90  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Bitcoin Could Be the Best Investment of the Century on: August 05, 2015, 06:53:17 PM
I seriously believe that Bitcoin could be the greatest transfer of wealth in human history. Although my friends and family still think I'm crazy, but we shall see.

There is no easy money left in bitcoin.
91  Economy / Speculation / Re: MS missed web, Google missed social, FB missed mobile. Who will miss Bitcoin ? on: July 30, 2015, 05:47:13 PM
did warren buffet invested in google or facebook?

He's always maintained he'd never invest in anything he didn't understand so that's a no. All of the tech stuff has passed him by.

Which kind of tell what kind of investor he really is. He only buy value company during distress time and not a visionary who invest into the future.
92  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Boycott German products on: July 21, 2015, 03:30:05 PM
How about boycott google and their cohorts for their ridiculous spying, privacy invasion.

Good idea.
93  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is the Chinese mentality so risky? on: July 17, 2015, 03:33:49 AM
Do they have a gamblers culture? Do they enjoy the thrill or gambling?

Edit: a quick search show that this is known: https://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/minority-report/201407/asian-gambling-addiction

Well now a new btc bubble and crash is coming. More volatility ahoy.

Many Chinese treat it as a social activity and exchange information during the session.
94  Economy / Economics / Re: Miners selling coins sets the price floor ? on: July 07, 2015, 02:01:56 PM
Miners can not keep selling coin below cost of production indefinitely. To make money, your first task is to figure out which ASIC manufacture can produce ASIC miner the cheapest and buy up all the coins 20-30% below the current production cost.

Below $150.
100  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will KncMiner dump their 7719 BTC at bitstamp? on: June 05, 2015, 03:21:51 PM
Why would they sell it ?

They sold about 6.5k btc through xbt provider last 14 business days(earning 1% yearly of adm fee)...

If they really want to sell they just need to do nothing next two weeks.

Exactly, use your head kwukduck.  KNC is gonna panic and dump 8000 coins on the market to crash the price??  Like above poster said, they can sell that through XBT provider with no effect on price.

So, unless they don't like money...

There isn't that much new fiat infusion to absorb 8000 coins being sold on the market without an effect on price.
