221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment in ICOs decreased by 5800% on: April 07, 2019, 01:50:41 PM
I see this as good News. Although the ICO mechanicsm provided a unique mechanism for burdening projects around the world to utilize blockchain projects, I think the amount of scams perpetuated was too much and until requisite regulations are put in place we will fine with lesser ICOs in the crypto-ecosystem
222  Economy / Speculation / Re: I think bitcoin taking position to go up on: April 07, 2019, 01:49:38 PM
You are spot on. Based on Technical analysis a bull run is near,  a little nudge from regulators and acceptance from private investors will push up the price of bitcoin at this moment.
223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: new coins are worthless! on: April 07, 2019, 01:49:12 PM
I don't share your sentiments at all. There are still some projects that take great interest in product development. Hydro for example is a good one. People just need to be more careful when investing in crypto projects than before because it takes more than fake hype to actually develop a project.
224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BEWARE OF IEO on: April 06, 2019, 04:18:57 PM
Your opinion makes a lot of sense. I think if  anyone is  buying into any IEO project after the launch on exchange, the person should take time to consider the uniqueness of the project and its long term proposal. Look at V-block on bitrex it did terribly after the listing and I think people who got it immediately after the listing would be at great loss right now..
225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I've just put ALL my student savings into TURTLECOIN ($50K) on: April 06, 2019, 04:13:21 PM
I read through this post and I feel disappointed such is allowed on the forum.. The use of fowl language is excessive and in my opinion should not be tolerated on the platform.. Well let me skip that, I think I remember investing money I dedicated for academics twice into crypto in the past, trust me it didn't go down too well.. I will never advice someone to do such..
226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cardano will destroy Ethereum! on: April 06, 2019, 04:01:58 PM
This is a good article that explains why Cardano will surpass Ethereum!

https://bitcoinmagazine.com/articles/op-ed-evaluating-promise-cardano-has-ethereum-met-its-match/
Sad to say but This is a dream that will never come through.. Too much copycats in the cryptospace. Everyone wants the title of CEO, founder e.t.c.. Projects keep proliferating like flies to just tie down people's money.. I don't see anything cardona has that ethereum doesn't already boast of .
227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Listing kills a coin? on: April 05, 2019, 01:28:34 PM
I used to invest in ISO and make a profit. Recently, a lot of coins in which I invested fall down after entering the stock exchange. I do not know what to do about it ...
Well listing cannot really be blamed for the poor prices although the kind of exchange on which this coins get listed also matters a lot. This developers at times also dump on investors too. I have experience one or two cases in which the developers where silently selling on exchange. Another factor is also bounty hunters, most bounty hunters are too quick to dump for shillings.
228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest in these altcoins? on: April 05, 2019, 01:24:47 PM
A couple of this projects above are still doing well in 2019. taking into consideration that this post was made in 2017. Stellar lumen and waves are still my best pick from the lot.
229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BCH Price To Touch 2000 USD by 2019 End on: April 05, 2019, 01:21:05 PM
A few months back, BCH Hard fork took place and since Bitcoin Cash ABC won the hash run, BCH ABC and BCH are merged together and are a single entity. Very recently, blockchain.com introduced a new tool for crypto enthusiasts to get a better understanding of the intricacies of their cryptocurrency. They launched a Bitcoin Cash explorer that helps people search for transaction hashes, addresses and blocks on the BCH blockchain.

This is very unlikely in my opinion. It will take a miracle for such to happen this year. Probably if BTC does 100k dollars then can BCH be 2k dollars . I think we should stay away from comments such as this. Hype based on no information or invention cant do the cryptocurrency market any good at this moment.
230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Godfather of Cryptocurrency aka David Chaum's New Platform on: April 04, 2019, 07:28:36 PM
I am actually hearing of this dude for the very first time and am sure others too will be hearing of him for the first time too, I only know one Godfather in crypto and that is satoshi nakamoto and no other, if he was truly the Godfather of crypto, then he should not be just starting out in crypto when we already have a lot of competitors in crypto and might not have a lot of persons looking to his project because I am sure we have other better projects that have more potentials than his.
Exactly.. It's quite annoying how people want to associate with anything they find making rave.. Someone just comes out of nowhere and gets the tag God father of crypto  Grin If he was so immense to crypto where has he been all this years..  SUQA even has similar better features compared to this hyped project..
231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should ICOs be regulated on: April 04, 2019, 07:16:37 PM
Considering the high level of scam associated with ICOs presently, many investors are at risk of loosing their investments. Bounty hunters like us are not spared as we may be rendering free services to some scammers and also risking our personal data.

I suppose a regulatory body be set up to audit the ICO process and the  founders, and if anything goes wrong or should the project fail, they will be liable. This will reduce drastically investors risk and also keep scammers away. What do you think?
Am completely in favor of this school of taught but the problem remains who will bail the cat?.. This could have been a brilliant idea but no one with the requisite credibility will like to stand up and play the role because even vetting projects can be difficult....
232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Impacts of IEOs on the crypto-ecosystem on: April 04, 2019, 07:44:18 AM
It is evident that IEOs may get basterdized soon as many people have suggested because it has now become a manipulative tool for exchanges to pump and dump their native coins on people. With time, as the negativity spreads and get more members of crypto populace unhappy, IEO will be dead
Hmm I even heard some of this exchange buy back the coins themselves that's why many people don't get to get any during the event.. The buy and pump it themselves, then dump on traders....very disheartening..
233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Impacts of IEOs on the crypto-ecosystem on: April 04, 2019, 12:50:49 AM
The best effect of having this IEO offering is pushing our investors back to try again to play buy and sell. Since the market turns in red everything get collapsing. Investors decrease day by day and the good things made by IEO was showing that world of investment is still alive.
I think I support this point of view, IEO has brought some form of thrill to the market but just like this post pointed out I think it could be catastrophic In the long run if not properly regulated.
234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will IEO be good in the future? on: April 03, 2019, 09:42:53 PM
I don't see this IEO rave lasting for long.. I advice you do your due diligence on not just the project listing on the exchange but also the exchange itself. So many exchange springing up with IEO too and some might fake purchase in their first ICOs to fool investors..
235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding EOS? on: April 03, 2019, 09:42:14 PM
I doubt EOS will ever surpass Eth.. The supply is another factor one needs to consider.. Eth is around 100m while EOS is 1 billion.. The EOS team will need to conjure some miraculous invention for it to ever happen..
236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto is getting ready for nice rally. Are you ready? on: April 03, 2019, 09:41:17 PM
Quite true  alot of big names have ventured into crypto. Today the 4th richest family acquired omisego.. Zuckerberg building facebook coin. JP Morgan already established his coin.. The bearish season is almost over.. Let's continue to get real life adoption to accompany the hype
237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can bounty hunting be considered a job?? on: April 02, 2019, 10:06:20 PM
In all honesty, what's the difference between your  day job and bounty hunting.. Your boss finds your work unsatisfactory and sacks you. You fail to meet certain heights and get retrenched..Or you could even be owed salaries for months and have to beg your employers for your pay like your life depends on it..
In all fairness, there is no difference between bounty hunting and any other job.. Same way it comes with certain levels of uncertainty.
238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: the best 3 new exchanges in 2018 on: April 02, 2019, 01:01:52 PM
Well this is 2019, and the best exchange I have used still remain bitttex and binance..Although I have had some good trades on Mercatox but I won't advise a noob to use it..
239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solutions to KYC complain of some Bounty Hunters on: April 02, 2019, 12:58:08 PM
Here are my solution to growing complained by the bounty hunters regarding KYC.

1. As we all know KYC by its definition. We all know that we aren't obliged to do so. Since no fiat or investment we did to get the tokens which solely the purpose of KYC to monitor the funds ans circulation of token during purchase. Don't comply and don't join bounty with KYC! Simple as that.

2. If youre afraid of KYC asked someone to do it for you and gave him funds in return. I think this is happening on some cases ( But this is form of cheating)

3. Read again step 1. If youre still have complain and still want to join that particular bounty and you are really a nutcracker!

I have never joined a bounty campaign where KYC was mandatory. But then there were some cases in which the KYC requirement was initially not there and then the bounty manager added it just before the bounty payout. And I am not very sure with step #2. It would be really difficult to find someone who is willing to undergo the KYC process for you. And it will destroy the whole purpose.
Exactly, I have experienced the same thing. After the program has started they begin to impose KYC on us..
It's completely unfair. Paying someone to carry out KYC is also not an option.. In a market where you are not even sure of the success of the project
240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Is straying deceitfully from the ideologies of Blockchain technology on: April 01, 2019, 08:39:19 PM
Today I saw the latest news release by the Binance Team and I sincerely disapprove of the mechanicms and tactics binance is trying to enforce on investors. The idea of blockchain technology is a community driven ecosystem where financial inclusion for all is guaranteed and the presence of equity in wealth distribution and rights. Today the Binance team is strategically straying away from this Ideology  by changing the mechanism of purchase on the binance launch pad for start-ups from  the first come first serve to an allocation model based on the BNB token held. Now a minimum of 100 bnb which is equivalent to 1600 dollars is literally required to participate in the IEO process on binance launchpad.
This mechanisms greatly deviates from what satoshi had In mind when he pioneered blockchain technology and in my opinion should not be entertained at all. The poor who wish to tap into the potentials of burdening projects will be deprived, the rich will keep getting richer  while the poor gets  poorer.
Why don't we take a minute to properly examine this  initiative binance is kick-starting which i am certain will be emulated by other exchange in the nearest future? Isn't these the same shortfalls of traditional funding models?. I say we take a United stand against this discriminatory and deviant act binance is kick-starting before it completely deteriorate the blockchain community..
Click the link below to view the complete release by  the binance team and feel free to share your opinion.
https://www.binance.com/amp/en/blog/316491046311071744/Update-to-the-Binance-Launchpad-Token-Sale-Format

Good news today is that binance has reduced the amount of bnb that most be held to 50 bnb.. So one needs 900 dollars worth In order to participate in the IEO process.. I think they are beginning to fill the impact of competitors or better still let me call the rest copy cats..
