41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to invest my $1.5K? on: September 03, 2019, 08:53:17 PM
a year ago I have invested in STRAT and Sia and I lost big amounts and regret investing in those coins.
Sorry for your loss but i will advice u be concious and careful with your investment option. Stay clear of most top coins in the space because the crypto market is currently fresh coins introduced into the market must expecially via IEOs. A majority of the notable blockchain projects are stuck, clueless and failing on their roadmap hence investors are disinterested. Follow binance IEO project for short term profit and stay clear of other altcoins
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to choose Kucoin ??? on: September 03, 2019, 08:46:58 PM
What you guys think about binance alternative??
Well kucoin is definitely not the bsst alternative to binance. The trade volume on the exchange is low, most trades are practically made by bots and even the so called features they boast of are nothing close to what binance has continually offered to traders and investors alike.. It will be a long before binance looses its hold on the crypto space

44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: hodl no shitcoins for future altcoin season on: August 29, 2019, 11:39:19 PM
Its unfortunate i learnt this the hard way.Asides from BTC all other altcoins are puppets for now..Designed to be used for amassing more Bitcoin.. For now i can only bet on short term hold of Binance IEO tokens after the initial dump..
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS WALLET on: August 29, 2019, 11:33:10 PM
The EOS wallet has always given me headache..First the long opening process, then the need to pay a fee before use and lastly ease of use..Just like u complained am yet to find my way around the EOS wallet and as well using their blockchain due to high level of difficulty.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We need regulation pretty bad on: August 29, 2019, 11:29:36 PM
I most say some things mentioned in this post are true but i guess this is the price we have to pay for decentralization.. The space jist needs to mature more and device mechanism to curb the presence of rookie developers and scammers.
.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Creator and Developer Gone on: August 29, 2019, 10:35:58 PM
Are the coins we have still worth anything?
Well the truth is they become completely useless in  the advent of such..And this is one reason we sincerely need checks and balances in the crypto space to mitigate against things like this...Its rathee
R unfortunate that non of the blockchains in the space have been available to provide checkmates for issues such as this..
48  Other / Archival / Re: Huawei Chinese version of Libra ? on: August 25, 2019, 10:50:50 PM
This continued battle between america and china is definitely getting out of hand and its sad that the rivalry will also penetrate into the crypto ecosystem should incase a chinese firm launches its own version of libra..Ultimately the hype would definitely be good for the space but the centralized nature both will be working with will defintely be a shorffall
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investors are impatient and too quick to judge projects on: August 25, 2019, 10:47:35 PM
But the truth is, are these investors investing in the project because they believe in it or are they just in it for the immediate profit and move on?  Because if you are investing in a project because you believe in it then you should be willing to HODL the tokens and wait for the team to gradually deliver the project and meet its necessary roadmap before you judge it and not condemn it on its first listing.
I feel i need to correct this wrong notion. The end goal of having belief in any project is to make sound returns from such investment..Its quite pathetic that most of this developers are actually ignorant/naive in their handling of market affairs..To crown it up they also fail to develop utility for their tokens, hence having zero demand and capitulating into poor market value.. Investors have the right to be annoyed...
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Founder Changpeng Zhao Says Funds Are SAFU on: August 25, 2019, 10:41:59 PM
What do you think about Binance?
The real question is for how long can CZ continue to guarantee the safety of funds..As the crypto space continue to mature the hackers are getting more clever and i doubt a centralized system can keep them out for long..
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gigantic max supply is bad on: August 24, 2019, 10:21:52 PM
In my opinion only the curculating supply is of importance..The real problem is in the inability of developers to create value for this tokens.. If their is active usecase, demand will grow and a growth in demand will impact price and guarantee the success of such currencies in the crypto market
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How often do you check crypto prices? on: August 23, 2019, 02:27:08 PM
Checking of alt prices can surely become addictive.. I advice non day traders to stay away from it completely or risk selling their gems for pennies due to frustration because the way altcoins are underperforming lately its worrisome.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dont be fooled by the market on: August 23, 2019, 02:25:03 PM
In a nutshell, never be fooled by the market today. Look at the bigger picture and hodl for the future. Altcoins all tge way. I am for altcoins.
I like to share in your optimism but to be factual..Hodlers are liable to  actually die young in the crypto market of today..The market is highly manipulated by whales who keep ranging with btc price..Its better one joins in and trade against usdt in order not to miss out on future pumps
54  Economy / Exchanges / Re: HitBTC lowers its fees on: August 23, 2019, 02:21:47 PM
Humm after reading this post am not in line with majority of the comments.Hitbtc is a cool exchange for me and asides from the recent reduction in fees which i most confess is a welcome idea, i cant hitbtc as one of the best exchange i have ever used in cryptospace... They have manageable volume and the trollbox is entertaining...
55  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Impact of Bitcoin growing Dominance on the Crypto space on: August 23, 2019, 06:10:06 AM
Well, a few years ago there were only a hand full of Alt coins out there and then there was Bitcoin.  Wink  People were not spoiled for choice, when it came to Alt coins, so these Alt coins did very well back then. We think about coins like Dogecoin and LiteCoin and NameCoin etc..

Now, people are spoiled for choice with over 4,000 altcoins (alternative variants of bitcoin, or other cryptocurrencies) that have been created since 2009. So you have 1000's of Alt coins having to compete for a limited amount of the total market share of investors that are willing to invest in Crypto currencies.  Roll Eyes
You are definitely spot on but lately all attention has switched back to btc. It has become highly volatile and dominant in the market...I wonder if this wouldnt have  a negative impart on the crypto space
56  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Impact of Bitcoin growing Dominance on the Crypto space on: August 22, 2019, 11:22:27 PM
Bitcoin being the pioneer cryptocurrency has always had a big gulf between it and other cryptocurrencies in the market mostly in term of valuation. Although this is expected, the growing dominance BTC is having on the entire crypto market does not speak good for the crypto space...
As at the time of this publication, btc dominance in the crypto market account for 68.4 percent, with this being the highest since April 2017. The question is what does this growth in dominance imply?those it suggest an immiment pump? since the bull run started not long after such high dominance was recorded  or those it imply further dump for altcoins and increase it btc valuation...
Please share your opinions.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunters killed ICO? on: August 21, 2019, 09:19:57 AM
This analysis is not completely true..Sometimes the absence of proper development plan cause this dump in price..Some of this developers are clueless, distribute their coins at the worse possible time and facilitate the dump as an escuse to dump their own bags om investors..Bounty distribition should be systematic and done when the token has masskve liquidity...Not before.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if Ethereum replaces Bitcoin someday? on: August 21, 2019, 09:15:16 AM
I dont see this ever happening..Ethereum has a larger supply and lets fsce it there hsve been little or no development on the ethereum blockchain lately..The value keeps dumping with every single pump in btc and hss returned to its All time low in three years...Ethereum is underperforming and will loose its position in thr top10

59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Libra the future anyone wants? on: August 21, 2019, 09:04:43 AM
Libra has raised fears about the future of blockchain mainly because it goes against everything the community wants and believes in: decentralization.

Facebook could ultimately create a massive closed-loop revenue model from ads, digital marketplace, to payments. Do consumers want to bet on the status quo of existing monoliths?

https://elixxir.io/blog/is-libra-the-future-anyone-wants
I have major objections to this libra coin. Although the hype it comes with has been good for the space, i think security of data will be at risk and the decentralized nature of the crypto space will be ruptured.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MasterCard is forming its own crypto team on: August 20, 2019, 08:38:43 PM
MasterCard is forming its own crypto team, The payment solutions company has called for applications to work in the dynamic intersection of cryptocurrencies and payments in its recruitment listing. Mastercard added that the hired people will monitor ecosystem trends in cryptocurrency as well as develop upcoming products and solutions. hope you remembered facebook's Libra too. it's no news that crypto is nothing but the future . we are getting there
I think this is a pointer in the right direction but i also wonder why it took them this long to come to branch into crypto space..Aside from being the future, crypto has proven to be ideal im ecery industry thay warrants a facelift and in my opinion the digital payment processing industry greately requires this technology.
