161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum blockchain will forever supersede Binance blockchain on: April 24, 2019, 06:15:02 AM
I believe that every blockchain has its pros and cons. It seems to me that the Bitcoin blockchain is more perfect, it just lacks speed. However, a solution has long been found - this is Lightning Network.
Ethereum has a plus - this is the technology of smart contracts.
Hmm u call bitcoin a perfect blockchain? Asides from being a good store of value which is in my opinion as a result of the growing adoption of bitcoin and nothing more.. There is nothing perfect about bitcoin at the moment.. Even all the dozens of folks have failed to make it a perfect blockchain.
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LTC or ETH, what good to own now?? on: April 23, 2019, 08:18:13 PM
In my own opinion I think, LTC is a good buy right now.. Although ETH seems to look more bolsterous based on the share fact that it supports and serve as frame work for a host of blockchain projects, LTC has some amazing news coming soon which i think could be ground breaking.
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TRON - worth investing? on: April 23, 2019, 08:08:11 PM
I just joined the forum. I’ve opened an exchange and various wallets , bought a bit of bitcoin and TRON, what’s everyone’s thoughts on TRON? Worth buying into?
.
So far so good tron has proven to be no push over in the crypto ecosystem.. Although I hold just a few,  I think tron remains a good buy expecially because of its blockchain which is continually gaining use in Asia.
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: GET OUT WHEN YOU CAN!!OR STAY AND CRY! on: April 23, 2019, 08:04:44 PM
sadly it is over friends!!!but of course too hard to believe!
Humm is this a decoy to deceive people into selling off their crypto assets ? If it is I must say it failed and the crypto ecosystem has advanced from a condition of complacency to a state where everyone is patiently waiting for mass adoption and remarkable growth in the valuation of the crypto market..
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Ethereum blockchain will forever supersede Binance blockchain on: April 22, 2019, 11:43:28 PM
After bitcoin proposed a unique means for perpetuating trustless , secured and efficient transactions bolstered by a distributed ledger unique in comparison to what is obtainable in the conventional world,  ethereum brought about a new agenda that speaks loudly of blockchain technology unlimited possibility to evolve every aspect of the society.

Decentralized applications and smart contracts are one of the key concepts the Ethereum project has established in the crypto-space. Decentralized applications in contrast to centralized applications proposes an alternative free from internet censorship, open source in nature and a rewarding economy designed to be fault tolerant. A host of decentralized applications are in the market today providing top notch services  I.e Etherdelta, Eosbet e.t.c .With more and more enthusiast entering the crypto space,  it's expected that dApp technology will gain implementation across diverse industries in the Nearest future.

Smart contracts is another remarkable function that earmarked blockchain technology potentials . The ability to self regulate and input rules to govern Perpetuation of transactions among different parties and the elimination of third parties in transactions has endeared  blockchain technology to the finance and trade systems of the world. Smart contracts gives room for a secured level of automation designed to govern transactions. No wonder most new blockchain platform have adopted the smart contract functionality introduced by ethereum due to the immense levels of efficiency it can provide for both monetary and non monetary transactions.

In conclusion,  seamless integration of the ethereum blockchain  makes ethereum forever ahead of the numerous copy cats in the market. Many people are of the opinion that the binance blockchain will be a strong contender to the ethereum blockchain but with the absence of supports for dApps and smart contracts, I find it hard to believe developers will migrate to Binance blockchain just for the meager privilege of getting listed on the binance exchange. Before Binance, the blockchain community has existed and even after binance will continue to exist because crypto is bigger than trade and market liquidity. Blockchain is a technology that should touch every aspect of human existence with remarkable features. With the looming of ethereum 2.0, I think the next phase of ethereum development will be a game changer.

What's your opinion? Which of the two features of blockchain technology discussed above do you find more endearing? And do u think Binance blockchain  will replace Ethereum as every developer first choice?
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why IEOs Came Into Existence? on: April 22, 2019, 08:15:11 AM
Have you ever thought of this before?

When I first heard of IEOs from smaller exchanges, I thought they were simply catering to one of the demands of ICO investors which is immediate exchange listing.

Then came the bigger centralized exchanges like Binance, Bittrex, and Kucoin. It somehow made me wonder why would they open up their platform to crowdfunding. Maybe because they also think that the ICO market is dying? If so, then that would mean less new projects. With less new projects, less potential source of income (listing fees).

So in the end, it is still all about the $$$. These exchange are probably afraid of losing one of their major source of income  Grin

What's your take on this?
This is a comical but true angle to it all... The IEO mechanism has probably made it easier for these exchanges to list new coins..Asides from IEOs am yet to see binance list a coin on their platforms.. Guess they must be making much more from IEOs than normal listing of coins..
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO owners and their dubious character. on: April 22, 2019, 08:11:46 AM
ICO as we all know is an avenue for developers to request for funds in order to carry out their project or their plans. As much as we have seen lots of scams in this crypto business, many more are coming.
i think the latest means by which these fraudsters scam people of there money is by creating multiple projects and launching it separately. Example.  a project owner launch an ico project in January. the ico failed to reach soft cap, maybe raised a little amount of money. the owner declared a loss and shut down down the project, informing investors about the update and promise a refund.
there is every probability that 40% to 20% of investors has forgotten about this project and may not request for their cash back. simply because the tokens has been send to their wallet.( sh**t coins). they are plenty.
watch the next move: the owner launches a second project maybe late july or august changing all information and using the funds generated from the first project to facilitates the second project.
Guess what, if the ico turns out to be successful, we might move to the next stage(exchange launching, project development) but we all know the outcome of an inferior projects.

Or the same initial process may continue if project failed to reach soft cap, I.E shuting down, promise payback which they can't fulfill and come back again with an entire different story.
so many ICO owners has tried this pattern many times stealing peoples and knowing fully well that they have nothing to offer.

we need serious help in this crypto community.
I never taught of this ICO tricks from this perspective.. It sad but this acts has truly inhibited the growth of the crypto space.. Imagine if am a noob with plenty of friends to invite to the crypto community.. After getting scanmed like this I doubt I will ever preach or advocate cryptocurrencies..
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sorry We are Closed on: April 22, 2019, 08:07:07 AM
A Korean exchange closes to create a new exchange that has better and more developed services. This will not make another exchange to follow in his footsteps if he has the right service to the customer. Every exchange has a service and the customer will feel satisfied, the exchange will give a more positive impression.
In my opinion this is just an ambitious move to start afresh.. Raise huge sum from another initial coin offering and lastly exit scam. Unfortunately for the perpetrators the crypto space is wiser now. ..
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sorry We are Closed on: April 22, 2019, 08:05:11 AM
Cryptocurrency exchange Coinnest, once South Korea’s third largest exchange, is closing down.
you can read more here : https://www.coindesk.com/south-korean-crypto-exchange-coinnest-announces-closure

but, at this moment i see a lot of crypto exchange project born in this industry
my questions is, does we still need more exchange in this industry ?
thank you
Exactly my point.. Too many exchange little adoption.. We can't have the same people trading on the all exchange over and over again.. If new traders and users of cryptocurrencies do not emerge we will be seeing a lot more closure of exchanges soon..
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If Satoshi Nakamoto was known in person on: April 21, 2019, 04:54:34 PM
It is a known fact that no one knows who Satoshi Nakamoto is in person and no one can point at who he is.
This made me to wonder that, if he was known and seen physically, would cryptocurrency survive till now.
Without careful analysis, he might have been called all sorts of names, such as a scammer, an opportunist and the likes because they might not understand the right intention he has for the world.

I have come to the conclusion that this man called Satoshi Nakamoto has made a sacrifice for us. Not everyone can do this. Why? Lots of humans like to take glory for themselves.

Today, people now praise Satoshi Nakamoto, but he never for once came out to claim the glory ascribed to him. Well, we do not know if he is still alive or not, but I have this feeling he is still living.

If you were him, what would you have done? Huh
This post sounds like you are attributing a god status to satoshi..Sacrificing himself bla bla bla ...  Grin
He could actually be somewhere dumping on us all this while..
If I were satoshi I will forever keep my identity hidden because revealing my identity might do the crypto community more harm than good..
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What has become of the whitepaper document on: April 21, 2019, 04:48:33 PM
Whitepaper and road mad are nice and good things for a project. They tell you what is to be expected of in project especially if you are an investor. But then scam issues sprung up, recognizing the power and influence of whitepaper and road, came in and capitalised on it to defraud a lot of investors

And now it becomes difficult to trust whitepaper and road map, but it wasn't like that from the beginning.

The solution I presume now; let’s take whitepaper to tell us what the project devs aim to achieve; don’t use whitepaper as a reason for investment.
I remember falling for decorative whitepapers in time past.. The way scammers have perforated the system today makes it gullible for one to believe in whitepapers and some are literally products of copy and paste  .
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading is the key to increase your portfolio in the Bear Market on: April 21, 2019, 04:45:37 PM
l start trading Cryptocurrency in the year 2015 as novice, l read lot of books on forex trading such as "Japanese Candlestick Charting Techniques author by Steve Nison" which l integrate the knowledge l got from those books into Cryptocurrency.  l was mentor by great minds knowing when to buy and sell any Crypto Asset  and hodl Crypto Asset that have high future potentials. Cryptocurrency trading is divide into two analysis which are briefly discussed below

1.Technical analysis: this are time frame price action movement of a Crypto Asset base on history. chart are study carefully to know  how a Crypto asset have been trending within  a period of time. This chart can be in form of a candle stick  chart , line chart , bar chart . the chart i use is candle stick chart which helps me to know if the bears or the bulls are dominant in the market which is pointer . In technical analysis there are indicators that enhances my interpretation of the candle stick which are list below
i. RSI: this is the relative strength index . is the oldest of all indicators . this helps me to know when a coin is over bought or over sold
ii MA: this is the moving average that helps me to double check the average price movement of the coins/token
iii MACD: this is moving average convergence and divergence, this is the last indicator i used to test if a coin is at the support level or resistance level
outside this indicator there are others  could help to enhance my trading such as  Bollinger Bands, stochastic ,Ichimoku Kinko Hyo etc .

2 Fundamental Analysis:these are factors that might influence the price movement of any Crypto Asset such factors are frequent announcement and update of the Crypto Asset in social media , political influence  ,economical influence.this is  the first analysis l do before trading to find out from news channel such as Coincheck, CNN, Cointelegraph about negative and positive news with respect to any Crypto Asset. This help me to no when coin is about to be pump or dump.

laws l use in trading
1. The coin must have a big market size before trading
2.  l trade only with what l can afford to lose
3.  l don't use emotions to trade
4.  l trade with Big exchanges
5   l use the stop loss features for trading

crypto asset l traded
1. NEO
2. BTC
3. XRP

Winning Strategy
i use three strategy that have make to increase my pofolio
1. volume : after my fundamental analysis l look for coins or token that have accumulate volumes and gathering momemtum
2. trending ; the trend is my friend after the laws of technical analysis have been broken .
3. scalping : when i see that number 1 and 2 strategy is fulfilled i scalp .

Trading Time frame
l use the 30mins time frame to scalp

My Risk management
risk management enable me to manage my portfolio and control how much am willing to lose or gain per trade,  that is why l use stop loss . am ready to risk 10% of my porfolio to increase my portfolio by 25%. the risk ratio is 2:5 with respect to loss/gain.

Exchanges l have traded
l trade with big exchanges because of their features .
1. poloniex
2. binance
3. Bittrex

In conclusion my experience as crypto trader is that never be too anxious for price movement. Greed and Fear is the key factor that result to lost of Crypto Asset in trading .

Please kindly share your experience in trading so far  to improve a member of the forum skills in trading Crypto Asset
I think I fancy the strategies you listed out in this post. Especially the use of the stop-loss feature which by now I thought would be available on majority of the cryptocurrencies. It's difficult to properly safeguard ones assets without instituting stop loss
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mark Zuckerberg talking about blockchain on: April 20, 2019, 03:33:29 PM
It seems like the FB founder has nothing but positive things to say about blockchain technology.

There are rumours going around that he will release a cryptocurrency for use on WhatsApp, but given the privacy and censorship concerns over FB, I can't see many people going for it.

https://cryptomenow.com/mark-zuckerberg-believes-strongly-in-the-power-of-decentralization-and-blockchain/
[/quoteImplementing a payment network using blockchain technology over social media proposes a mouth watering opportunity that I am sure Mark will like to clinch too
. It's also important to note that the facebook coin initiative will actually spell doom for some cryptocurrencies such as Wire..
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Binance Chain a treat to Ethereum? on: April 20, 2019, 03:30:29 PM
It is no longer news that Binance is launching their own chain on the 23rd of April, 2019. All BNB holders can convert their ERC 20 to Binance Chain and MITH has announce to be the first to migrate to Binance Chain and pumped 60% overnight. Is Binance Chain decentralized or semi-decentrilized considering that they will be in control of their chain network. With the lack of smart contract, are they really pulling any challenge to ETH? Well. If the purpose is for crowdfunding and the possibility of getting listed, BNB might receive a lot of attention. In my own opinion, Binance Team is setting the pace for other exchanges and they are doing really well.
I don't see this being a treat to ethereum in any way.. People need to understand that the first of a kind in the crypto market are difficult to pull down.. Asides from automatically listing on binance. I don't see any other features the binance Chain has to offer..
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty that paid you some good reward on: April 20, 2019, 03:26:32 PM
hey all... it's exactly one year now when market started downward movement due to which many bounty/ico companies were not able to list their token to any exchange. Some even did not bothered to send bounty reward token to bounty participants. I have more then 40 tokens that are not listed to any exchange. This situation forced many participants to stop working on bounty campaigns and find some other way to earn from crypto. What was the last bounty that paid you token and that tokens were listed on good exachange and you were able to earn 1-2 ETH / 0.1 to 0.2 BTC or any small amount.

2018 was a good year for me in terms of bounty.. I literally lost track of my trade accounts after receiving massive pay from bounties like shivom, nexty e.t.c. So far so good 2019 has been dreadful most especially with all of them asking for KYC.. Yet to get a meaningful pay from Any bounty this year..
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If the society rejected to use crypto currencies? on: April 19, 2019, 04:18:23 PM
This thing came up to my mind suddenly. As I know a currency is a transaction medium that majority of the people agree to use to exchange their items with them. If it is the case, if majority refused to use crypto currencies, what will be the consequences may occur ? And how it will affect to the ICOs ? Any Ideas?
This would be calamitious and disastrous in so many ways..  Without mass adoption of cryptocurrencies it will be impossible for valuation to increase sporadically and secondly decentralisation is another question.. If their are too few people using a currency it will be subject to manipulation.
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I will never sell my Alts for loss: Prefer to take them to the cemetery! on: April 19, 2019, 04:15:52 PM
As long as I live live I will not sell my Alts at a loss.
It is a shame that Bitches are selling: These bitches can’t see 2 years from NOW: Booming!
I primarily hold Cardano!
With this kind of mentality as a trader you will get rekt.. Sometimes you need to learn to cut your losses and move on with life.. It doesn't make u less courageous or less disciplined as a crypto enthusiasts. U won't always get it right, just learn to cut loss and move on after learning your lessons or u will find yourself out of crypto sooner than you think..
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: VANTA Network: the new form of BitConnect? on: April 19, 2019, 04:12:55 PM
In fact, VANTA network is the new form of BitConnect or even worse. If not, how could VANTA network forced bounty hunters to trade their shitcoin (VNT) for 10 consecutive days to get paid, huh? For what? To fake trading volume. Only those who traded VNT got their bounty payment and those that failed to do so got nothing in return after working 6 weeks promoting VANTA network.

VANTA network paid only about 20% of the hunters who traded VNT for 10 consecutive days and stolen over 80% of the bounty pool. They want hunters to trade VNT to create fake trading volume to attract more people, investors and exchanges alike.

Tell me, what do you think about this shady project called VANTA network?
For me, I see nothing but the new form of BitConnect on steroids or even worse!
The vanta case was a case of brute.. The fact that they even cut down supply and yet refused to pay bounty hunters showed a lack of sensitivity and community building skills.. Nevertheless I wish them the best of luck and I pray this act of nonchalancy does not spread to other parts of their projects..
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC defeats the purpose of Crypto. Thoughts anyone? on: April 18, 2019, 02:20:14 PM
The KYC process annoys the hell out of me. I remember a time when you could trade coins freely and without owning up to your identity at all. Not that I'm hiding anything, I just don't like every man and his dog having a copy of my government ID - I feel that's very intrusive. I mean the whole idea of cryptocurrency was anonymous peer-to-peer trading without government intervention. Now it seems you can't fart in the wrong direction without someone breathing down your neck.

I mean I get it, exchanges, ICO's, etc, want to be on the safe side -- although what I really object to is these places accepting my crypto first and then telling me that I need to give them a mugshot if I want to use it, or withdraw it again. It's a nightmare.

Anyone else a bit miffed with all this identity craziness we're in right now?

Or am I just being a grumpy old man?
I truly sympathize with you.. It's actually what the cryptocurrencies space has resulted to but without this in place crypto would be a favourable ground for all form of nefarious activity and this will continue to tarnish the image of the crypto-community. I have my issues with KYC too but for some products and services I think KYC is a neccessary evil that everyone needs to accommodate in order for us to one day witness mass adoption of blockchain technology.
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I deposit 37001 whitecoins to cryptopia exchange this week by mistake on: April 18, 2019, 02:15:46 PM
I think their response shows lack of professionalism and with this kind of customer services they will definitely loose a lot of customers.. Provided the wallet it got sent to wasn't and isn't compromised I don't see any big deal in helping with solutions.. Lack of flexibility and apathy in rendering customer service will definitely drive cryptopia out of market if they don't change..
