201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH or EOS? on: April 12, 2019, 09:33:23 PM
I think your assumption is wrong.. Although EOS has been more acomaditive for games and dAPPs, the ETH blockchain is still widely used for hosting tokens and smart contracts for ICOs than EOS.
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5 Ways to Earn Crypto without investing or mining on: April 12, 2019, 09:32:43 PM
I have checked out the article and in my opinion it doesn't reveal anything new or mind blowing to me.  The PublishOx platform is actually of much interest to me..I actually heard the platform now utilise hydro.. Is that true?
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stuck with Altcoin That Cannot Be Traded? on: April 12, 2019, 09:31:59 PM
My advice is that you visit the official website for the two cryptocurrencies and you seek out the officially endorsed Wallets for both projects.. I also advice you jot down sensitive information regarding the wallets for future use.. I also think upbit exchange is safe for use too.. I have Never heard any negative knews about them.
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEOS are no different from ICO tricks; just an upgrade on: April 11, 2019, 07:40:31 PM
To me the difference is great, IEOs pay lack of respect to project development, majority of the IEOs play into the hands of whales and do not encourage the participation of small time investors and lastly IEOs give room for more manipulation than the ICO mechanism.
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reducing scam on: April 11, 2019, 07:34:33 PM
The shortcomings of majority of the ICOs in recent time really warrant regulations. Some of this scams are well orchestrated to the extent it is almost impossible for one to suspect. Velix ID for example has really caught my attention, this is a project that claim to make hardcap yet no exchange listing after months. Crypto needs regulations for it to ever gain mass adoption
206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO are good for startups seeking funding. Is IEO efficient enough? on: April 11, 2019, 07:33:45 PM
Well to answer your last question, I don't think it's a necessity to institute blockchain technology at the soul of a project funded with the ICO mechanisms. Yes the distributed currency will be on a blockchain but it's not a necessity that the platform utilizes every other function of the blockchain. In my opinion it's the prematurity of the crypto-currency that is giving IEOs such rave in due time I expect Security Token offering to be more notable than both ICOs and IEOs.
207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP competing places with ETH? on: April 10, 2019, 07:47:48 PM
Well for me ethereum is by far superior. I think buying altcoins like Eth, XRP and XLM, LTC remains the sure bet.. I am actually diversing and investment theory.. Where i spend 30% on high risk cryptocurrencies, 35% percent on a top 10 cryptocurrencies in the market and the last 35% will go to a hidden germ, with low risk but a usecase that can attract value in the nearest future. This is not a financial advice but I think with carrying out thorough personal research this mechanism of mine should yield something tangible on a six month time frame.
208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lesson from bear market on: April 10, 2019, 07:41:17 PM
This are deep lessons I have also learnt but I think crypto enthusiasts should try not to get scared of taking risk because of past mistakes and misfortune experienced during the bear market but rather should pay more attention to carrying out dip and thorough personal research before investing. Lastly using the stop loss or stop limit more often will do a lot of good for crypto enthusiasts.
209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My Experince | Managers Are The Major Reasons Why Bounties Are Mis-Managed on: April 10, 2019, 07:40:56 PM
This post has highlighted some deep opinions I share.. Some bounty managers have failed lately e.g the bounty manager of the vanta bounty.. The fact that most of such bounty managers no longer fight the cause of bounty hunters but rather stand alongside this developers is a shame. I hope your platform bring a more reliable and refreshing approach to hosting bounties.
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why there is so much fuss about decentralized exchanges on: April 09, 2019, 02:33:20 PM
The thing I like about Decentralised exchange is that one still have complete authority over the account. Even in the advent of hacks, users can still withdraw their funds but centralized exchanges  your fund is gone for ever.
211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reminiscing the Good old Days of Crypto on: April 09, 2019, 02:29:17 PM
Sincerely I am optimistic the market will improve in due time but I can't specify when..If I can could change something it would be not dumping my xlm when it eclipsed 1 dollar.. Still reminiscing when it moved from 0.3 dollars to a dollar.. Good old glory days..
212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETHEREUM MEW and its new look! on: April 09, 2019, 02:25:07 PM
I left this wallet a while ago. When hacking became the order of the day. I just hope they have made something good of the wallet.
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Impacts of IEOs on the crypto-ecosystem on: April 08, 2019, 12:14:57 PM
Very well said mate. I think IEO investments are still quite a risk and still should be avoided for the fact that most large investors have larger parts in the coin distribution. Even if it's a promising coin with a listing after the sale. The dump is always there to pull you and makes you a large loss.
I agree with this completely. IEOs are more or less whales puppet. Check out that of Bitrex, veriblock to be precise, it performed terribly on listing , I can assume two things. (1) Either majority of ythe coins where purchased by the exchange (2) The developers bought their coins themselves and dumped immediately on unsuspecting traders.
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BitTorrent on: April 08, 2019, 11:57:04 AM
A lot of people have been making calls for  BTT lately. Yet to understand what the hype is all about. And also the supply is also offsetting in my opinion.
215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: List of IEO (Initial Exchange Offering) platforms on: April 08, 2019, 11:50:00 AM
The list keeps growing, apparently everyone wants a share of the pie. Lets see how the IEO mechanism continue to perform though i suspect that very soon most of this exchange will loose credibility as a result of this IEOs.
216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you borrow in cryptocurrency? on: April 08, 2019, 11:44:34 AM
I wont advice anyone to do such because the volatility of the crypto market is too much.If u wish to borrow,do so in terms of the dollar value. I have seen cases when this causes strife between friends. As at when the BTC was borrowed it was worth 400 dollars fast forward a 6 month down the line the dollar value was 3k dolars and it became impossible for the borrower to pay. I advice when lending crypto do so in terms of dollar value so as to avoid conflict.
217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's Your Bounty Story? on: April 08, 2019, 11:35:17 AM
This a nice experience, a lot of us got engaged in the crypto Eco-system as a result of one freebie or the other. My story well has more of regret especially at the onset but i have come to understand that opportunities will always come and the ability to adapt to what is trending in the crypto space is the best way to earn a fortune from it.
218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It's About time We Look Beyond The Digital Currency on: April 07, 2019, 04:59:22 PM
Another annoying one is the amount of forks the space has witnessed leading to new cryptocurrencies with exact usecase. Apparently it's beginning to look like everyone wants to be founder and CEO of their own projects.

I completely agree with this. I never approve that forks. And I don't think they want to be founder or CEO with their own project. They want to be rich and they want to it without working and creativity. They are not capable of create a new projects but they are using Bitcoin's or any other major coins name. Unfortunately, they are finding a supporters on the market.

Maybe not all are having the same condition as this. Forks are meant to be an upgrade, a renewal, development and also, a synthesis. It is the process on which blockchain and crypto could be enhance, not really a way to create a company and become a CEO, but too bad, people will do just for it.
was actually referring to the Hard forks which lead to a new blockchain architecture . We have had quite too many in crypto with a majority of the emerging projects dieing as soon as the developers cash out..
219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / It's About time We Look Beyond The Digital Currency on: April 07, 2019, 01:52:57 PM
The yearly increase in amount of cryptocurrencies in existence since the advent of bitcoin has been sporadic in my opinion. Sometimes I think this growth even belittle the integrity of blockchain technology. I mean are cryptocurrencies the only special features of blockchain technology?. It's a shame today we have projects offering services that are 100% alike to others , so much proliferation of projects with similar services in the crypto-market. Another annoying one is the amount of forks the space has witnessed leading to new cryptocurrencies with exact usecase. Apparently it's beginning to look like everyone wants to be founder and CEO of their own projects. Majority of the blockchain projects today in my own opinion should never have existed or could have just existed as Decentralized Applications running on blockchain.

This uncontrolled proliferation of cryptocurrencies has effects on both enterprises such as the Government and major co-operations and as well investors/traders. The Governments of the world have secretly started implementing blockchain technology and tools to boost efficiencies in their operations but their stance on cryptocurrencies remain strict due to the lack of trust in the crypto market. Investors and traders are bombarded with a host of options to pick from with majority of those projects what I tag "Dead on arrival",waiting to swallow up investors funds and disappear into thin air..

In conclusion,  I think the project developers need to reconsider their options. Why must they all have dedicated currency? Why not create a project with unique usecase and implement your product to accept cryptocurrencies that are already established in the space? Why not partner with notable crypto platform and make your project a Decentralised Application (dAPP)  using the blockchain framework and currencies of the crypto platform?. I think for mass adoption of cryptocurrency to ever happen the  crypto-community needs to focus more on projects that will bring use cases that will rival what is available in the traditional system of the world than producing more cryptocurrencies with zero real life application and uniqueness. There is so much untapped potentials in blockchain technology that the world is yet to see because developers focus too much on currencies rather than use cases.
220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Welcome to the future on: April 07, 2019, 01:51:23 PM
Although this opinion is valid, I think we crypto enthusiast need to take a chill pill with this visionary talks because it will keep attracting backlash from the traditional banking system of the world..In 10 years which industry can we say crypto has reformed or revolutionized. Am beyond doubt that crypto is the future but we need to start the adoption from less sensitive areas such as the use ledgers , Dapps and smart contracts to improve the convectional systems of the world before we can gradually push for the currency.
