141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I stopped trading. 3 reasons why. on: April 30, 2019, 09:16:57 PM
1) Too much stress.

Yes, I believe you understand me. My mood depended on one or another token value. I couldn't work sleep and eat. I was checking value for 15-20 times per day. I could not live like that any more.

2) Too much time.

Again, when you are checking value for 10-15 times per day it takes a lot of time. I was always tired and exchausted.

3) I started playing blockchain games (not gambling).

It could be called another addiction but I don’t care. I do like it much more. It interesting and funny. It seems like blockchain games take too much time and money. However, it’s not! Trading and bounty take waaaayyyyyy more!

UPD #1

I've noticed a lot of questions about blockchain games. Here is my games list on product hunt https://www.producthunt.com/@house_lama/collections/blockchain-games

UPD #2

There is a good blockchain shooter War Field. it’s 100% not scam so I can send it here. you can read details about this game here (I don’t send direct link to their website not to make them advertisement) https://gameunculus.io/blog/96
Sincerely day trading is a very tasking engagement.. I prefer to just hold long term and rip the benefits... Although it's difficult to sight project that are worth long term hold in this epileptic market of ICOs bombarding the crypto space this days.. I haven't tried any blockchain game yet I hope they won't be a waste of time
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which new token has good potential for the future? on: April 29, 2019, 03:43:39 PM
If someone asks a suggestion about some potential coin, we can tell them very fastly ETH, EOS, ICX, ADA and so on's name. Because right now, the crypto market has many good and reputed altcoins. But after the longtime bear market, do you have any hope for any new token? If yes, then which new token has a good potential in your view? Share with us!
Sincerely am not very hopeful on majority of them.. I rather stick to the reknowned names in the crypto ecosystem than patronize projects and tokens yet to establish any meaningful product.. Veil,  robotina and probably gowithmi are my best picks among the new tokens
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After Galaxy S10, next is Samsung Coin? on: April 29, 2019, 03:42:23 PM
Coindesk published a REPORT that Samsung may soon issue their own token (Samsung Coin). It is still not confirmed yet but news like this are most welcome. Let's see how things unfold.

Quote
Currently, we are thinking of private blockchain, though it is not yet confirmed. It could also be public blockchain in the future, but I think it will be hybrid – that is, a combination of public and private blockchains.
I really fancy this news but I hope rather than designing their own blockchain infrastructure that they adopt blockchain framework that are already established in the market.. Ethereum, EOS, ADA I believe a good enough to provide the infrastructure for the Samsung coin..
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Nike is launching a Cryptocurrency Marketplace! Will this help Crypto Moon? on: April 29, 2019, 03:35:08 PM
News about Nike's marketplace can be found in this YouTube video: https://youtu.be/bz0PexMfMXk

Also if you guys like the video please like and subscribe so I can bring you guys the latest breaking news on a daily basis!

Thanks in advance!
In my opinion this is just a publicity stunt to increase the price of their stocks.. Alot of companies have pulled stuffs like this already and experienced boost in market price.. Although I believe it's false,  I think it will be highly welcomed by the crypto community.. An opportunity to buy Nike wears via crypto would make sense..
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: JUST 1 TIP ON HOW TO AVOID STUPID PROJECTS JUST AFTER YOUR MONEY on: April 28, 2019, 08:34:00 PM
Stop investing  (investors) or promoting (bounty hunters)  projects requesting ridiculous amount of money just to build some silly application... it's just outrageous 90% of these kind of projects later Play an exit scam on investors

In my opinion, bounty hunters never forced anyone to invest in such projects.. The choice still falls on investors to decide which project is worth their funding. Although I sympathize with investors, the failure ratio amongst ICOs is alarming and warrants more scrupulous investigations and research before making investments.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it really a "Do or Die " time for Ripple [XRP]? on: April 28, 2019, 08:33:28 PM
I am browsing cryptocurrency news today when I stumbled on this article

Prominent Analyst Claims That It’s “Do or Die Time” for Ripple (XRP)

It stated that much of XRP holders were disappointed because of it being stagnant while Bitcoin and other large cryptocurrency have a large gain.

Ripple’s lackluster price action over the past several months has left many XRP investors with a feeling of disappointment as it remains stagnant while Bitcoin and other large cryptocurrencies incur large gains that have put a significant amount of distance between their current prices and their recent lows.

It seems holders are getting impatient.  Does this imply that developer are losing their grasp in this project?  Are they losing their market influence  to their competitor?
The truth is large volume coins have made less move in the market lately.. XLM has been another sad story.. Although this coins (XRP and XLM)  boast of a large trade volume, it's been difficult for them to experience any upward movement lately..
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Get $40 stellar very easily on: April 28, 2019, 08:30:00 PM
This practice of literally exchanging sensitive personal data in exchange for stipends is becoming a trend in the crypto space and i fear we will sooner or later see drastic effects and harm such practices can cause.. I just hope it won't further retort the image of the crypto community.
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins with Binance and Bittrex Delist in 2019 on: April 27, 2019, 02:58:53 PM
I think Bittrex is doing the right thing for sure. I am working with them since 2017 and i love their acting, they support their customers in big time. Low colume coins deleting is one of the best thing to do for the exchange i believe. If i own an exchange i would remove the low volume coins. If i check one exchange and if i see there are many low volume coins there i would never work with that exchange. So delisting is very good for everyone.
I think this is a hash reality.. But I will like to chip in that having a low volume on exchange doesn't signify a project is dead.. Sometimes projects pass through this phases before they attain certain milestones.. Just delisting coins just because of low volume is cruel. No wonder why vitalik of ethereum speaks lowly of centralized exchanges..
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: REALLY WORKING CRYPTOPROJECTS (not from top 50) on: April 27, 2019, 02:53:12 PM
The list is so long but I think unhelpful.. I need to ask what are the parameters used to adjudge a project is still being developed? Because some of this project listed above their updates shows no sign of progress in their development and asides from meetups here and there have nothing to show forth.. So I would like to know the parameters by which this projects were chosen.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Can We Fought Back? on: April 27, 2019, 02:48:29 PM
More and more Project are not paying Us bounty hunters for are work example of that 👉 ATHERO this project fooled us keep saying dates of distribution, is their any way to get even with this Scammers or is their any way to get them reported so that people will see what they really are?
It's quite sad that most ICOs behave in this predatory manner lately.. That's why I prefer the pre-funded mechanism of the bounty-ox platform. Although it doesn't stop malicious projects from changing smart contracts, it atleast gives bounty hunter a 50% certainty of receiving their pay..
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fork Dash Coin - How to Get New Spork Keys? on: April 26, 2019, 09:02:29 PM
Is this another hard fork?  I taught the crypto space is done with this money grabbing mechanisms.. What makes this fork different from its original blockchain.. All this proliferation that amount to no input to the blockchain eco-system is very annoying in my opinion..
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stop badmouthing new projects on: April 26, 2019, 09:00:08 PM
99% of ICOs are scam, I'm not saying they are not, we are all tired of fake projects getting released day by day but let's not forget that many companies are just starting to take huge advantage of blockchain technology, the experiment with blockchain technology is ongoing which will actually giving birth to more newer projects, its left for us to choose wisely, cryptocurrency is advancing....

1)old coins and tokens are good and many prefer to invest in them than newer projects to limit there risks, not a bad idea but I want to share a simple example with you, a master will never remain a master forever
e.g there was a time when android version 2.3 is the best on Android phone, so how many of you can still use the 2.3 when you've already have the taste of 7,8.0,8.1,9 OS? The difference  is marginal, newer projects will and should be able to surpass the old ones

2)binance is the most favoured among biggest exchanges we have in crypto space and the bnb token is growing bigger due to IEO whatever and bnb crossing to its own blockchain, not a bad move but do you think binance will be this great in years to come?  Experiments gives birth to more greater and more advanced ideas and I can boldy say that we will see better exchange that will beat binance in the future, take it or leave it.

3)monero is the king of privacy coins as they named it, in fact yes I accept, I am a fan of xmr myself but lately many new privacy coins are flowing in and the one I'm most bullish on since 2018 is veil, seems better to me, this is not an investment advice though, just sharing my own personal opinion that we needs more newer projects to take blockchain and cryptocurrency tech to higher levels.

No one is the most wise, you will always see someone who will surpass you, no matter what and I think it's the same thing to coins and tokens .
1994 best cars aren't the best anymore
Best old PC in the past can't keep up with today's hexacore PC's.
Take your time to do your own research, we still have many good projects that will come out and if you are the type that have the mindset of new coins are bad you will surely miss the opportunity

Your opinions are truly valid.. The crypto space will continue experiencing different phase of metamorphosis until a mature and mass adoption ready eco-system will emerge.. It's good not to get stereotypical because we are yet to see the best of this technology powered by the blockchain.. I feel the next 5 years has alot in store for crypto..
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New crypto currency Grosh on: April 26, 2019, 08:56:28 PM
Hello everyone I recently started trading the crypto currency Grosh through the Waves platform it's stable and it's not that vulnerable as other cryptos for example bitcoin. The waves platform gives a lot of opportunities and there are tons of crypto currencies to trade.

The price of the Grosh is still low overall so it's the best time to trade it. Just wanted to let know everyone about the Grosh and I am also planning to make some videos on you tube and it will be something like intro for this currency how to trade it and etc. I hope this article will be in use to many of you. I will stay active for questions about the Grosh and other related questions.

Regards to everyone!
Never heard of this currency before.. I think it would be best you highlight the features of the currency.. I don't feel safe investing in every altcoin I pick up in the market without properly analyzing it's featues,  usecase and potential market..
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Binance Is Becoming Too Powerful (and really scary). on: April 25, 2019, 09:29:01 PM
So I wrote this on Medium.com, if you want to read it on Medium you can find it here: https://medium.com/@creampuff/how-binance-is-becoming-too-powerful-4550f6155f5d

Here is the article:

Before beginning, let’s introduce you to Binance. Binance is a company which ran an ICO in 2017 and launched its cryptocurrency exchange during the same year. They quickly became very popular, and a few months after its launch, the exchange was already the largest one in terms of daily volume. Binance, and even more their CEO, Changpeng Zhao (CZ), is constantly incentivizing companies to use Binance Coin (BNB) as a payment method.

Besides, they recently relaunched Binance Launchpad, a way for users to directly participate in ICO’s on Binance. A few days after that relaunch, most of the major exchanges had already announced their versions of Launchpad, showing the impact of Binance in the cryptocurrency world. And even more recently, Binance Chain, was launched. Binance Chain will not only power Binance DEX, Binance decentralized exchange, but will also power tokens.

That’s scary.

Why?

Because if we take the tokens powered by Binance Chain for example, they will become incredibly dependent of Binance. And actually, it’s already the case without even taking in consideration Binance Chain. If we take a look at a low-cap coin listed on Binance, SONM for example, if they were delisted of Binance, their project would be considered as dead, because it wouldn’t have any volume anymore.

Quick side note: I’m not blaming Binance here, with this article, I’m blaming the other exchanges who aren’t capable of competing with Binance and Ethereum not being capable of competing in terms of scalability with Binance Chain. I actually like Binance, I really do. They have a great exchange, they know what they are doing, and they are certainly the most professional exchange I know. So I don’t have any problem in regards with the product itself, the only thing I’m saying is that they are becoming too powerful.

So the main problem behind Binance Chain is that it gives too much power to Binance because with their blockchain, Binance will be able to put even more pressure on cryptocurrency projects.

Imagine you have a company which has created a dApp and a token based on Binance Chain. You raised funds through Binance Launchpad, and were listed on Binance Exchange. Because you are fully based on Binance, you start accepting BNB, logical right?

Congratulations! You are now officially fully dependent of Binance. Smiley

Your dApp activity depends of Binance, most of your clients use BNB instead of your token because it’s much easier, the trading volume of your token fully depends of Binance and 95% of the people who are hodling your token are Binance users because, remember: you ran your ICO on Binance! Because of that, the majority of your token supply is located in Binance wallets.

The result is that your company’s success entirely depends of Binance, not you.

As a conclusion, I think it’s fair to say that Binance is becoming too powerful.
Well I don't completely share your sentiments.. For one I also don't think binance blockchain will support dapps.. Although am quite weary of the monopolistic nature the binance team has taken lately, I don't think too many projects will patronize the binance blockchain just yet.. The fear of the unknown will make most stick to ethereum and the absence of dapps and smart contracts functions further restricts the scope of the binance chain..
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Civic Inks Deal to Bring Blockchain ID to 1,000 Vending Machines on: April 25, 2019, 09:18:14 PM
It started with selling beer, but age verification could crack open a whole industry to cryptocurrency.

CoinDesk previously reported on the demonstration of Civic’s beer-selling machinery at this year’s South by Southwest (SXSW). Now the company is announcing partnerships with 12 major automated retail companies – AAEON, AR Systems, Fastcorp Vending, Global Vending Group, greenbox Robotics, Invenda, IVM, IVS, Retail Automated Concepts, SandenVendo, The-Venders and Wemp – to bring similar technology to the masses.

“Vending machines represent an introduction to the mass market, where people can see how digital identity functions in the real world, as well as opening up an entirely new market for automated retail,” CEO Vinny Lingham said in a statement.

The 12 partners control more than a million internet-connected vending machines, according to Civic. The identity startup expects the technology to be used in 1,000 machines by the end of 2019.

For users, verification will rely on document scans (of a driver’s license, in most cases) to confirm age and identity as the rollout takes place. Civic’s demo at SXSW had previously used “knowledge-based authentication,” that is, a series of questions only one person would be likely to correctly answer. This form will continue to be an option for vendors who prefer it, according to a spokesperson.

Stablecoin solution
Lingham told CoinDesk the company expects to use Gemini’s GUSD in the Civic Pay app (and perhaps others, later).

Stablecoins don’t have the volatility of other cryptocurrencies (such as Civic’s own CVC token), so when customers buy something through the Civic Pay app, they will most likely use GUSD (purchased through Civic) to pay for it. Participating merchants will receive the stablecoin and a much lower transaction fee.

“For non-age-gated products, the vending machine industry is dying for a cheaper, faster transaction,” Lingham told CoinDesk. “They can save 80–90 percent on transaction fees.”

For its part, Civic may still pay credit card fees but it faces a lower chargeback risk because the app has already verified the identity of the user.

“Our risks are substantially lower than a vendor taking a credit card transaction,” Lingham said.

Civic declined to disclose a timeline for stablecoin deployment on the app.

Beyond beer
Tobacco, alcohol and hemp-related products will establish Civic’s beachhead in the automated retail sector, Lingham told CoinDesk.

Beyond that, the advantages of using Civic Pay to dodge transaction fees could push the app into other categories. However, Lingham also highlighted another area that the company hopes to move into: pharmaceuticals.

While not necessarily age-gated, there are a variety of products that many users need frequently (for example, asthma medication, insulin or prescription antihistamines) that require identity verification. Today, this is done by visiting a pharmacy counter, but Lingham says Civic is in talks to bring its technology to this vertical, though the timeline is much further out.

“This is where it’s going. It’s not there yet,” Lingham said.

Civic will be demoing its application at the National Automated Merchandising Association’s NAMA Show in Las Vegas from April 24–26.

“The vending machine market is flourishing and being the first to adopt industry-changing technology is critical to providing the best user experience,” Mike Weiser, SandenVendo’s CEO and president, said in a statement. According to the company, it controls over 800,000 machines.

I still can not fully understand the investment in civic as token. But it seems that they can turn into a great company offering these simple and quick solutions.
This is massive news. Mass adoption definitely getting closer. The fact that crypto platforms this year have been use case oriented than in the former Is something that gives me a great conviction that the crypto market will definitely do well this year.. Been long I heard much from the civic platform and I think this is a remarkable milestone they have achieved..
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What kind of Altcoin can buy now? on: April 25, 2019, 09:11:19 PM
Smiley Market is day by going below in Altcoin. If i buy some Altcoin now for ling time hold what type of coin can buy?
please give me suggestion of experts about trader.
You can now try to buy a promising coin, privacy coin, utility coin seem become a very good choice for you dude., Remember to buy when the price getting a correction and this will decrease your potential to get a big risk. There was a lot of candidates and try to search based on your analyzation.
Exactly my point.. I actually even fell for one exchange coin recently and I nearly got wrecked.. In my opinion I think we won't have majority of this exchange around in 5 years time and my best bet is on most on the top 10 currency for a long hold.. Litecoin, ethereum,  Ada are my picks..
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too much crypto payment projects but little people accepting crypto payments on: April 24, 2019, 09:46:51 PM
I believe one of the major setbacks of the present crypto space is a lot of new projects are focused on providing the fastest easiest crypto coin to be used for payment purposes and transactions however considerably lower effort is placed on the vendors who are actually going to be accepting payment in form of cryptocurrencies because what is the use of having a crypto payment card full of money that you cannot spend.

Whitmore payment gateways a inform of PayPal and the likes accepting crypto payments from multiple coins without necessarily issuing their own coin then there will be better adoption of cryptocurrencies by both business owners and customers.
This is the main issue I have with majority of the crypto projects designed for cryptocurrencies payments ..Majority of them fail to establish the requisite networks and co-orperation needed for their projects.. High value but no usecase is a waste in my opinion.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bill gates says cryptocurrency is bad on: April 24, 2019, 09:33:17 PM
In his own reddit AskMeEverything page, https://www.reddit.com/r/IAmA/comments/80ow6w/im_bill_gates_cochair_of_the_bill_melinda_gates/

He answers about cryptocurrency stating
“The main feature of crypto currencies is their anonymity. I don't think this is a good thing. The Government’s ability to find money laundering and tax evasion and terrorist funding is a good thing. Right now crypto currencies are used for buying fentanyl and other drugs so it is a rare technology that has caused deaths in a fairly direct way. I think the speculative wave around ICOs and crypto currencies is super risky for those who go long.”

He isn't wrong in his sense, if the cryptocurrency is to have a future, they should be able to create an environment of trust between themselves and the authorities.

I think Bill Gates opinion are spot on and the need for regulation in crypto is pivotal.. I will also like to say his knowledge of cryptocurrencies must be quite limited for him to conclude anonymity is the central concept of crypto
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The price of coins starts in green on: April 24, 2019, 09:30:47 PM

After I see in coinmarketcap the price of the coin starts green and the average goes up above 10%, will this market recover and the bitcoin has reached 3.8k? what do you think about this ..
Well if you went long as at the time of this post on majority of the cryptocurrencies in the top 10 u would be on some good profit.. Although I must add that sometimes green in the crypto space can be deceptive and lead to further traps..
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum blockchain will forever supersede Binance blockchain on: April 24, 2019, 06:17:06 AM
Binance blockchain is no way in Direct competition with the ethereum blockchain and this is because it does not offer smart contract for development of projects it's only offers a fast transaction solution and also an alternative for new crypto projects.
The binance blockchain will continue to be useful and BNB coin will continue to be a top coin in terms of exchange coins but ethereum is far ahead of binance coin and blockchain (binance chain).
This is exactly my sentiment, binance blockchain will remain what it is.. An digital assets exchange blockchain while ethereum which i like to refer to as the motherboard of crypto will continue to grow in its application by developers..
