861  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: As we see Bitcoin dropping from 109 at the moment on: June 14, 2013, 01:23:55 PM
They sell you 8% below MTGox average.

Consider that point for a moment.

We sell bitcoins at 2% below MtGox, and buy them from you at 8% below based on a 24 hour weighted average, so at moments like this where it has dropped 8% in the last day you are reaping the benefit of the weighted average pricing.
862  Economy / Trading Discussion / I wish we had a price stabilized version of Bitcoin on: June 14, 2013, 02:37:22 AM
I know this may not be what an "investor" wants to hear, but one of the main things which scares away widespread adoption of bitcoin is its volatility. It has been a great investment....no two ways about it from an investor's standpoint over the last few years. Yet, the wild fluctuations in value just spooks people from using it in the real world.

I wish we could somehow have a second version of bitcoin which held a stabilized value. Today for example it dropped almost 10% in a matter of minutes...that kind swing just makes it hard for joe blow retailer to start accepting it.

IMHO

Bitcoin-Brokers is offering the Bitcoin community the ability to sell their bitcoins at current MtGox rates and receive cash deposits into their own personal bank accounts.

Starting immediately if you bank at any of the following banks, you can sell your bitcoins for 0% fees and receive 100% of the proceeds from the sale of your bitcoins as a cash deposit into your personal bank account.

-Bank of America
-Capital One
-Citigroup
-JPMorgan Chase
-PNC Financial
-SunTrust
-TD Bank
-US Bancorp
-Wells Fargo

This exciting new service will allow sellers of bitcoins to list their bitcoins for sale on our website and have the buyers make cash deposits into their personal bank account.

Prior to the buyer receiving the bitcoins, the seller will:

-be able to verify via online banking that there has been a cash deposit made into their account for the correct amount.
-receive a scanned copy of the actual deposit slip used during the deposit transaction.
-receive a scanned copy of the business card of the bank employee who accepted the deposit who can be contacted to verify the deposit.

This new service is initially only offered to residents in the USA, though other countries will be rolled out soon.

There are no maximum sized orders, and sellers can test the service with orders as small as $10.

867  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTS: 26 btc for paypal USD on: June 13, 2013, 04:29:38 PM
I am selling 26 btc for paypal USD.
I will sent btcs first.

Accepting Paypal from unknown people can have horrible results if you run into a dishonest person.

Let us buy your Bitcoins from you and send you payment via MoneyGram. MoneyGram is much better than Paypal. It might cost you a few bucks more, but you can rest comfortably knowing you aren't going to receive a chargeback for those Bitcoins 60 days from now.

If you are looking to sell your Bitcoins for cash you should go to www.Bitcoin-Brokers.org

You can sell your Bitcoins there, and they will send you cash via MoneyGram pick up (with No ID if you want to remain anonymous).
876  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: best way to buy bitcoins with credit card? on: June 11, 2013, 06:21:36 PM
I know you wanted to know about buying your Bitcoins by credit card but in all honesty you are not going to have much luck. You are going to have to pay the Bitcoin seller with a payment option which is non-reversible, which is why Paypal as well is not an option when purchasing Bitcoins.

So now you need to consider your options. If you do not care about being linked to the purchase and do not care about waiting a few days to get your coins I would suggest going with www.coinbase.com . Another option is www.localbitcoins.com which is a great source if you can find somebody in your area.

Another option you could consider would be to get your Bitcoins from www.bitcoin-brokers.org . These guys will sell you your Bitcoins for 2% below market value, and you can get them within one day simply by sending them a Moneygram payment. They also will buy your Bitcoins back from you and send you cash via Moneygram which is a great service.

880  Other / Beginners & Help / Immediate cash in and out of Bitcoin with Western Union. Demand? on: May 21, 2013, 07:30:16 PM
Would this be something that people here would find valuable?

If you wanted to buy Bitcoin, you could simply send payment via Western Union at agreed rate. Bitcoin is transfered directly to client's account.

If you wanted to sell Bitcoin, I simply send you Western Union. Test question and answer and MTCN for anonymity if need be.

Bitcoin held in escrow at www.localbitcoins.com in all cases.

This allows people wanting complete anonymity to deal entirely in cash without having to show ID or a bank account.

It would work for anybody assuming they had a Western Union close to them.

Basically it would allow people to go straight from cash to Bitcoin, or straight from Bitcoin to cash anonymously and within a day.

Thoughts?
