1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is breaking the law and will be sued by Craig Wright on: April 04, 2020, 10:33:45 AM
The struggle for relevance is real. Plenty of time in his hands due to the pandemic. Let's see if he actually follows up on filing a case. I would like to see that happen.
2  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: YouTube continues to ban crypto content on: April 04, 2020, 10:27:33 AM
Similar to facebook, I think youtube's algorithm automatically takes down a content if it has been reported plenty of times. They'll just wait for an appeal from the content creator.

Ivan on Tech has been doing AMA ICOs for a long time and some of his folllowers are probably fed up.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: convert bitcoin address to ethereum address on: March 28, 2020, 08:28:01 AM
I would not be surprised if one day I see you complain that your funds are stolen because you downloaded some file from some website. How convenient it must be for hackers that someone would actually use their work and hand their private keys.
4  Economy / Reputation / Re: Me and rosezionjohn - our connection on: February 26, 2020, 03:58:07 PM
Sorry mentor but I can't help with the details now. I had a long day at work. I will try to help in the next few days.

Yung sgr is airdrop. Kaparehas lang din yan ng bitox kung saan kailangan mag-send ng 0 eth to a certain address to claim airdrop https://t.me/bitox_DEX/96654

Naalala ko sa cpex we were forced to withdraw kasi magsasara na sila.

Please add my thoughts on the OP,  pagdating sa airdrop at sa token swaps, you need to act fast upon learning or else you will miss out. That is just common for active hunters.

Pagdating naman sa wallet, I don't want to dowload or install and maintain different wallets just for the swap. It is not practical.

This will probably be my last contribution.
5  Economy / Reputation / Re: Just some Busting on: February 25, 2020, 06:19:41 AM
Suspected accounts - Yes -

- correction, I didn't get disqualified from the coldkey competition, My work just didn't made it to the top 10

Thanks for making it clear. I was wondering if there's another evidence linking both accounts aside from telegram since this is the second time that's why I brought it up. If none, my curious mind tells me that OP found out the connection during the competition.
6  Economy / Reputation / Re: Just some Busting on: February 24, 2020, 03:48:39 PM
Merited you for the effort. I also doubt that you did this for merits.

Isn't this the second time that debonaire and plvb were suspected to be alt accounts? If I remember correctly, those two accounts were disqualified in a competition related to the bitcointalk 10th anniversary. I'm not sure if that was the coldkey. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

This may be not related to the thread but I just want to say that OP already mentioned doing something like this in our local board.
I guess we can see those who are just here to be paid, who has multi account, etc., and those who not. I have this hunch that may mga multi-account dito at talagang ginagamit lang kapag may isang campaign na nag-aaccept ng mga local posts. I am thinking this for a while na I want to open  thread ng similar kay Timelord sa Reputation board, sa Russian board meron ding ganito. Hmmmmm!

His recent report could also be related to these posts:

If really you're from our local I'd never be surprised if you're the one I've reported to mods that has multi-accounts, sadly you're one of the most merited user as per BPIP but it turns out you only suck the forum. Get a life outside the forum opportunity awaits you more than here. If you don't mind I'll investigate later on if I can find more connections since you like challenges, don't worry I got loyce page on my back.

My hunch tells me that it was you base on what you've said to cabalism3. Shocked It wasn't posted on the Known Alts by Timelord2067 to keep you wondering, the report was done in private but it turns out good because I really laid out the report with strong evidences. Mata na!
Since one of the participants Spider A4 gets autobanned then there's a Full Member rank opened on the campaign. More to go. Grin Guess the reason.
7  Local / Pamilihan / Re: MERIT GIVEAWAY on: February 24, 2020, 01:43:21 PM
Please move your topic to the pamilihan board just like other merit giveaway threads.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins Need a Catalyst to push up prices on: February 24, 2020, 01:21:34 PM
Catalyst you say? As of now, the only catalyst is bitcoin on an upward trend. Some say a bull run.

I remember back in 2018 when almost all altcoins that I follow kept on releasing some news every week or two in order to keep the price up. All those hype were not working because bitcoin was freefalling at that time. I don't think that has change until now. Now matter how fundamentally good an altcoin looks, its price will still depend on btc's movement.
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wilder vs. Fury II: The Rematch is On on: February 24, 2020, 01:11:12 PM
Wilder has called for third rematch his team invoked it so we will have a third rematch coming,
A link to this would be nice. I can't find recent articles.

What we need to see now is a unification bout between Fury & Joshua.
I was looking for an article about Wilder's team invoking a third match as what fortunecrypto said but I found this one instead https://www.worldfightnews.com/joshua-wants-wilder-before-the-third-wilder-fury-fight/ Joshua was expecting Wilder to win the second fight but he also said he doesn't mind having a unification bout with Fury. It's nice to see that none of them is trying to hide.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New EU Law Will Make it Impossible for Banks to Ban Cryptocurrency-Related Trans on: February 24, 2020, 12:52:50 PM
That's a positive way to spin the AMLD5 LOL. Banks based in EU won't need to ban crypto related transactions because they won't have difficulty getting information anymore.

Looking at it from a crypto enthusiasts who value privacy and anonymity perspective, it means giving more detailed personal information to exchanges, payment processors, gambling sites, and other services that handles cryptocurrencies.

For exchanges, it means more burden with the added reporting requirements.

The new rules require crypto exchanges and custodial service providers to register with their local regulator and demonstrate compliance with thoroughgoing know-your-customer (KYC) and anti-money laundering AML procedures.

11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Outdated, Loves Ethereum on: February 23, 2020, 04:49:25 PM
I had time to spare and tried to watch the entire interview but only managed half of it. It's like watching an animated character and I couldn't stand it anymore.

He's a fan of smart contracts and we all know ethereum is the one that started it. If there will be a newer tech that would come out, I wouldn't be surprise if he calls ethereum an outdated project too. One thing that's good there is that he said he's not a fan of xrp and hinted it's a scam  Cheesy

He is a paid crypto influencer, so everything he said should be taken with a grain of salt.
Fixed it for you.
12  Other / Meta / Re: About payment system of this forum on: February 23, 2020, 03:12:32 PM
OP, you are way too late to the cryptotalk - investbox - yodollars 'party' here.
I wish you luck in your quest to build your account here if you're really interested in this forum but if you don't have the patience, they say there is no rank required in cryptotalk forum to get paid for every post.

He lost $2 on Cryptotalk or here? He got kicked out or something?
Lucius already said something about OP's post history, go check it out. OP has only 20 posts so it wouldn't take you a minute.

Are you sorry you are not paid for spam on bitcointalk? That's why this forum is dead for you? Please clarify.
That was obviously sarcasm  Cheesy
13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wilder vs. Fury II: The Rematch is On on: February 23, 2020, 01:45:40 PM
Going by his ear
I first thought you mean that instance where Fury was sticking his tongue out as if he was licking Wilder's ear during a clinch. I can't remember what round that was. It's kinda gross to watch Cheesy

Quote
I guess his balance took a major knock. If that is true it was a proper show of toughness.
It was hard looking at Wilder even in the first three rounds. It looks like he was always dragging his feet and ready to fall anytime.

Wilder tried to survive but he just doesn't have anything left. Fury was clearly the more technical and smarter fighter and he showed that in both fights.
14  Economy / Reputation / Re: Abuse of Merit by a Full member on: February 23, 2020, 01:11:48 PM
It doesn't happen often but this is not the first time that I have seen proof authentication or application posts getting merited. Even higher rank members do that in signature campaign applications. The giving merit to a bounty report is really shady though and that report was also submitted 2019. I'm guessing this is a case of trading merits.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum users private data exposed!!! on: February 22, 2020, 03:50:00 PM
This 'experiments' to make ethereum more convenient to send or receive and bring it closer to the public is 'too transparent' to my liking.

Quote
But even if they assign the Ethereum name to one of their accounts that only has a handful of crypto in it, the address they used to register the name is available too. And this allows snoopers to see how much money was stored in those accounts.

It even sounds silly that you have to pay for these ethereum names only to be exposed so easily.

what are the best practices to adopt if one’s data is exposed kindly post below.
You have no control as to what they will do with those data that were exposed. You can't really do much but to be extra careful and maybe hire someone to protect you if you think your life became at risk.
16  Local / Pamilihan / Re: ♛♛♛NBA Prediction Tournament [0.027BTC Prize Pool]♛♛♛ on: February 22, 2020, 03:26:42 PM

17  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Where is Binance located? Not Malta. on: February 22, 2020, 02:54:47 PM
I never read any article where CZ said that those articles saying their headquarter in Malta are all false news. He allowed everyone to be fooled and now just counters with 'it's FUD' statement?

I can't even understand what he's trying to say here
There are misconceptions some people have on how the world must work a certain way, you must have offices, HQ, etc. But there is a new world with blockchain now. Again, some of our community understands this, and some don’t. Hence, lots of confusion.

Binance has a number of regulated entities around the world, either operated by our partners or by http://Binance.com directly. We work closely with regulators and comply with the rules in the places where we operate.

It's like he's saying that they have various HQ and it's where their exchanges operate. Binance US hq is in US, Binance Singapore hq is in Singapore. There is no central or main headquarter. Decentralized HQ?  Cheesy
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: On creating topics about bounty projects and hunters on: February 22, 2020, 01:30:20 PM
So bounty discussions belongs to service discussion thread? Thanks to notifying us
Yes and you are welcome. Visit that link I posted in the OP and you will see that most topics there are related to bounties. Even your recently created thread was moved there.

Quote
I as a person don't know about this and yes many are talking about bounties in altcoins season because it's  one of the most threading thing to talk about
Bounties are definitely one of the most talked about topics in the altcoins section and that's why they are being moved to the service discussion to not clog the main altcoins board.
19  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie members syndicate and rights on: February 22, 2020, 01:13:18 PM
Newbies seeking knowledge about crypto and blockchain are probably rare here. I haven't seen them being abused or harassed in the forum so far. On the contrary, they are actually recognized and easily given merits to rank up. In any case, I support the idea of having a 'syndicate' to protect those types of newbies.

20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / On creating topics about bounty projects and hunters on: February 22, 2020, 12:37:49 PM
There are plenty of users here who keeps on creating bounty related topics in the altcoin discussion board. Don't you notice that those topics you created were being transferred to another board? Next time you open about those kind of threads, please use the service discussion (altcoins) board where they belong https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=198.0

It's already hard to look for a good topic to discuss in the main altcoins board so please post your bounty concerns on the correct board.

@mods I understand that this is not the right place for my topic also and I apologize for that. I would have preferred to post this on meta but none of these hunters visit and read posts there.
