781  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Justin Sun Makes a Bold Statement on Facebook’s Libra on: August 28, 2019, 05:30:50 AM
Justin always try to hype on something. I can't even take him serious anymore.
Welp, isn't that what he's been doing since the launch of Tron? Good or bad publicity, he doesn't really care as long as he gets the spotlight.

So.. Tron, Justin Sun, and FreeWallet. One of the worst cryptocurrencies(that has so much "investors" for some reason), the project's CEO(who people still follow for some reason), and one of the worst wallets we have right now(which some people still use for some reason).. a trifecta match made in heaven right there ladies and gentlemen.
Same thought actually  Cheesy The moment I saw Justin and Freewallet, I completely lost interest.
782  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunting is past it's glory days on: August 28, 2019, 05:08:03 AM
If you're into bounties, what happens if you hold the coins? Based on forks of bitcoin, once airdropped the base rate of the coins are pretty low but then they normally go up and then back down again (like bch) do bounties do this sort of thing? Maybe it's just people are selling too quickly and killing the price because they're after immediate gains (but I have no idea on how the community works).
Hunters who hold their rewards usually ends up disappointed and left with almost worthless coins since it's being dumped quickly after listing. Liquidity for these bounty coins/tokens are low so they will have to wait for the next "big announcement" from the team before they can sell at a better price, that is if the team is legit and won't abandon the project.
783  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in multiple altcoins on: August 28, 2019, 04:44:33 AM
I would narrow it down to two or three altcoins if i were you. Do not spread your portfolio too thin. Investing for long term is nice but the problem with investing in too many is that it'll be hard for you to monitor the progress of these coins.

BAT was doing well but I'm no longer sure if they will be accepted in the long term since they started to implement KYC.
Privacy coins may have a good future with all these government regulations so I may pick one of them.
784  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if crypto becomes centralized like the Internet in the future? on: August 28, 2019, 04:34:58 AM
On the other hand, centralized exchanges are largely dominant in the industry where they have the final say of a cryptocurrency's long-term success (like Binance).
It is important to note though that CZ has been talking about decentralization is the future. That's why there's Binance DEX now.

Given the path crypto has taken, it seems to me that it's becoming closer towards full centralization in the same way the Internet did a while ago. The Internet once started to be decentralized, but then became largely dominated by big companies with a lot of power. Now, the Internet is not decentralized as it used to be, and crypto might be headed towards the same path. Everything will depend on the people themselves, whenever they will allow this to happen or not. It's hoped that crypto remains as decentralized as possible in order to fulfill Satoshi's vision within the mainstream world.
This is an interesting comparison. Just like the internet, will cryptocurrencies be divided into two? One will be mainstream (centralized/government issued) and the others will be considered like the "dark web coins" (bitcoins and other non-government issued)?

785  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Government-issued cryptocurrencies...Are they the Future? on: August 28, 2019, 04:23:14 AM
.............Eliminating physical cash in its entirety will prove to be beneficial for the world's environment (and the government too as they won't have to deal with printing money, and other issues). Hence, it may not be long before government-issued digital currencies become a reality within the future.

I do see governments having their own digital currencies in the future but to completely eliminate physical cash, they (governments) have to deal with fixing their own internet connections first or make it possible to send digital currencies offline.

You gotta love the confidence oozing from this kid. He's got the fighting skills and enough experience despite his young age. I don't know if he will win but he definitely deserves the title shot.

The more customers i have, the more money i make. All high rank members started from somewhere.
You will hardly get new customers here. If what you say about your winning percentage is true, why don't you ask referrals from your old customers? They already trust you and they won't mind inviting gambling friends. Don't you think that's a better strategy ?
789  Other / Meta / Re: Referral Link In Post Is Allowed? on: August 26, 2019, 02:31:03 PM
I don't think it should be allowed but those threads have been running for years already and I guess the admin/mods has considered them as substantial and useful (to gamblers).
790  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Faster Mobile Browsing? on: August 26, 2019, 01:07:58 PM
Downloaded the app, so far di ko feel how fast it is lol di ko lang siguro pansin, parang ucbrowser siya if iccompare ko sa ibang existing browsers.
Daming feature yung wala pa sa browser, first yung find option sa page, no incognito din. At di ko din feel yung night mode ng browser parang di pang night mode. Good thing may feature nila to block yung any web trackers like google analytics. So far, there's still room for improvements since beta palang yung app.
Salamat sa review. Naglagay ka din ba ng feedback dun mismo sa google play?
Tingin ko sa blocker lang muna sila nag-focus kasi yun naman ang selling point nila pero sana lang nilagay na agad yung find option.
791  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: If you become a Bounty Manager later, don't do this! on: August 26, 2019, 12:46:21 PM
First time bounty managers can also utilize threads like the Re: Known Alts of any-one - A User Generated List Mk III (2019 Q3) to help them investigate who are legit hunters. They can also follow what long time managers like  julerz12 and bubbalex are doing - reporting bounty abusers.
792  Economy / Exchanges / WAVES Dex + Ethereum Tokens on: August 26, 2019, 12:01:57 PM
What do you guys think of this move by Waves Dex adding ethereum tokens to be traded into their exchange?

On a development standpoint, I think it is good since traders would want to have an all in one DEX.
I also think this move was done to bring in more liquidity because the team realized that they can never beat Dex's that trades ethereum tokens.
793  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ieo-s and Profit on: August 25, 2019, 12:53:55 PM
Im interested about ieo-s  do You guys think after the Matic and other ieos Will do the price surge Again??

Quote
Its worthed to invest Again into Matic?  Will there Will be other big pump or price upward Movement?

My answer to all questions above, NOBODY KNOWS.

Quote
So is ieo taking time less then ico to be listed on Exchangers?  So the Maturity date Will be When?

The coin or token is usually listed right after the token sale. The duration depends on the project and the exchange agreement.

Quote
Let's Say i Buy some fresh new ieo so how Long  i should Wait to see profit gains like a 200%-300% in short time period.

Most people who invested in IEOs gets out quickly after listing. That may be the right time to sell also to get some profit before it gets dump hard.

794  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: August 25, 2019, 11:56:25 AM
They are hyping Tacko Fall but not yet. He is still a rookie so they will not give him that much minutes.
Also, this big men will be used depending who they are against with. They need more speed to shine the greatness of Kemba.
Makes sense.

Imo, Tacko should be utilized more while he is still young and agile. I've watched some of his highlights and he is quick for a guy his size. It is up to coach Stevens now how he will link up the two effectively.
795  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs 2019: A Year Of Success of Failure? on: August 25, 2019, 11:44:41 AM
Which exchanges were facilitating these IEOs that you say were successful and what are the names of the projects?
Mycro (MYO) was one of them and they claim to have a sold out IEO at Bitforex
Another project who previously held an ICO then had an OEO  almost a year later was XchangeRate (XRR) at Eterbase.

796  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are You Still looking For New Coins When Bitcoin Dominance Hit 90% on: August 25, 2019, 11:29:24 AM
Are you still looking for a new coin or coins in the ICO/IEO stage if Bitcoin dominance has already reached 90%
In response to the above question, here's my (deleted) comment:
"I don't think I would be investing in ICOs/IEOs but I would consider existing coins or tokens like eth.
It should be fine as as long as I'm not going to throw in a lot of money into it. My portfolio would look like 90% bitcoin and 10% altcoins.
"

Let me rephrase that to:
I don't think I would be investing in ICOs/IEOs if bitcoin's dominance reaches that point but I would consider investing in already existing coins like Eth. It should not be that risky investing in existing alts as long as it's only a small part of my portfolio (e.g. 90% of funds goes to bitcoin and the rest to altcoins).

Let's see if that will be reported and deleted again  Cheesy
797  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Credit Card Cash Loan - Buy Bitcoin on: August 25, 2019, 11:03:56 AM
So I think this is the right time for me to give some update, I made a credit card cash loan last week because the price of bitcoin is too cheap for me. I still have the half of my cash loan just in case the price of bitcoin goes dipper. Sobrang laking risk ang tinake ko dito and hopefully naman maging ok sya, sobrang laki ng tiwala ko kay bitcoin and alam kong hinde nya ako bibiguin dito.  Grin Grin Grin
Best of luck.

798  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Faster Mobile Browsing? on: August 25, 2019, 02:02:01 AM
Meron bagong app ngayon na nagsasabing mapapabilis ang mobile browsing experience dahil may ad block feature siya. It's called Osiris and it's developed by Decenternet Technologies Corp. (hula ko short for decentralized internet).

799  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you heard of DTube? on: August 25, 2019, 01:24:05 AM
Private key is given, because we are in testate, so token hold no value so far.
You may want to add the word "test account" in your previous comment. I understood what it was when I first read it but others like the person who claims that it's scammy may not get it.

Can you drop how many users you have right now? and what's the highest number of views in a single video?
Anyway, best of luck decentralizing the video/content creation industry. There are other platforms right now that are also challenging youtube like beatzcoin's vibravid.
800  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New Instagram-like service running on the NEM blockchain on: August 25, 2019, 01:07:07 AM
but with added benefits of registering your ownership on the blockchain, receiving tips and also the option of charging a fee for a third party to use your content.
So this is like copyrighting your picture on the internet using NEM blockchain?
With receiving tips, is it similar to how BAT tipping works? or investfeed (IFT)?
I am not a fan of instagram but seeing how popular it is among photo lovers, this may work for nemgraph.
