^  Give me good odds.  I bet McGregor KO's Cerrone.  My 20 for your 60?
Too early for me to decide. I'll wait and see training camp video footage of both fighters.

343  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: November 29, 2019, 02:52:12 PM
^  It would be dumb to go straight at Masvidal without a tune up fight (and a long lay off).
It's actually dumb going after Jorge with or without a tune up fight lol. It wasn't Conor's normal weight class and he obviously doesn't have the gas tank to trade punches with Masvidal who is faster and more skilled striker (compared to Diaz) as a welterweight.

Donald is no push-over and if Conor couldn't finish him inside three rounds, he'll most likely lose.
344  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Conor McGregor vs. Donald Cerrone [JAN 2020] Discussion on: November 29, 2019, 02:35:25 PM
Donald Cerrone the cowboy is fading I have seen his last fight with Gaethje and it's not really good, where he was knock out, what a way for Connor to pick an opponent, well maybe because he needs an easy fight to get into the picture again, and he wants to build up a rematch against Nurmagomedov.
Cerrone may be past his prime but you also have to consider the weight class they are going to fight. Donald is more of a natural welterweight compared to Conor. He struggled with his cardio the two times he fought against Nate in that division so this definitely not an easy fight for him. Cerrone may not have a tough chin like Diaz but I consider him a better striker. If the fight goes past two or three rounds, Donald can win.
345  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 30th South East Asian Games on: November 29, 2019, 02:11:46 PM
If it's badminton, bet on Indonesia.
I have not followed badminton for some years but when I did, Indonesia and Malaysia dominated this sport out of all the SEA countries. I believe they have good development program so I expect that either of the team will win the SEAG again.

Delegates from both countries have also been competing against the Chinese team for years.
346  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Vape Products Shouldn't be Banned on: November 28, 2019, 06:20:58 PM
The move to ban vaping is not just happening in the US. It's also being pushed from where I'm from.

We all know that cigarettes are addictive, how about vape products?

347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: successful bounty projects that still cheats on: November 28, 2019, 05:48:17 PM
Out of the three projects you mentioned, only Vidy has a topic in the scam accusation board (link - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5188913.0)

Why don't you create a separate topic for the other two? As a poster, I think you also need to provide more details as to why and how these projects cheated.

Bounty hunters should also learn how to create a flag if the projects they promoted violated the terms and scammed. Read this topic https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5165178.msg51824246#msg51824246
348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why invest on a project because someone said they are good? on: November 28, 2019, 05:34:47 PM
Before following your friend's advice, you should ask your friend firmly what is the reason he suggests investing in the project.

What was stated in the original post
i asked him what makes him invested in it, like what is the real use case of the coin and he have no straight answer,

i decide to do few diggings and i see that LCC is not that bad

I wonder what made you say this litecoin cash isn't that bad?

but my point is why invest on a project because someone said they are good?
There is really no good reason for that. This is what ignorant and lazy "investors" do that's why they get rekt. This is also how some of these telegram, youtube, or twitter crypto experts make money from their followers and subscribers.
349  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever done to experiment to determine percentage of winning? on: November 28, 2019, 04:51:25 PM
Aren't you suppose to analyze before you place a bet? Check the team, check the odds, place a bet. I also think it would be pointless to write the results and analyze them later on. The circumstances changes from game to game and your strategy will keep on changing too.

350  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 30th South East Asian Games on: November 28, 2019, 04:37:59 PM
Lol a lot of the previous news that you read on social media, local mainstream, and even international media are now being debunked. Some reporters have apologized and issued erratum already. Some blunders by these reporters are the use of old photos for the facilities, fake stories on food and not knowing backstories to some of the events. Unfortunately, a lot of keyboard warriors follow the news blindly even if it's false or erroneous. I suspect there are also camps doing a smear campaign to to dampen the government's effort for this SEAG.

Let's just focus on the games.
351  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: FUDsters become active when the price goes down - learn to spot them on: November 28, 2019, 03:41:16 PM
The topic reminded me of this account which was created on January 7, 2018. The next day, s/he made this post:

2018 Crypto Crash, Elliott Wave

"mooning... to the dark side of the moon"

  • Cryptocurrency bubble appears to be over, and a spectacular crash and bear market seems imminent.
  • Bitcoin may bounce towards approx $15500 on Bitfinex, followed by a crash towards $7000-$8000, and then eventually to $2000-$4000.
  • Majority of other cryptocurrencies may cease to exist.

-snip-

and a lot of senior members at the time have dismissed his/her analysis as FUD....fast forward, it turns out that the price prediction was real.

My point here is that don't just dismiss anything negative as FUD. Nobody has a crystal ball which means anything can happen. I suggest that beginners should not just follow popular opinions.

To be fair, can we also have a topic about bitcoin SHILLers?
352  Other / Meta / Re: The "#" alternative on: November 27, 2019, 05:32:01 PM
Agreed that the use of # alone can't be considered spamming. I only used that as part of the title since it was a common denominator, aside from promoting the same projects, among these accounts.

I'm not aware that were many # posts in the off-topic since I rarely check that board. Maybe they were moved there by mods.
353  Other / Meta / The "#" alternative on: November 27, 2019, 05:16:44 PM
It looks like some marketers have resorted to a new method since the introduction of the new bumping rule. I have noticed some newbies and recently woke up accounts posting here using "#" like this was twitter or facebook. I've also noticed that the accounts were promoting the same projects.

Take a look at their post history:

These #posters can be banned for spamming right?
354  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptopia Exchange on: November 27, 2019, 04:40:27 PM
Their reputation was already ruined and it would not make any sense if they ever plan to comeback. The liquidation process is long enough and there is no assurance yet that they can even pay all creditors and exchange users. Good thing I only have a small amount of tokens there that I was trying to sell before it got hacked.
355  Other / Meta / Re: BTT badges on: November 27, 2019, 04:18:21 PM
There were a lot of good designs from that thread. Why not do the initiative of opening up a poll for all those designs? It may save him time while he is working on the art badge. I prefer just a single badge for all regardless of the number of good reports but a minimum is required before getting one.
356  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Upbit hacked on: November 27, 2019, 03:49:32 PM
That amount is no joke for any company, Upbit will have to shutdown sooner or later if these hacks keeps on happening to them. Another one of the many proofs that no system is safe.

It's nice to see etherscan have this

A small way of helping inform the community who frequently use etherscan. It may also make it harder for the hacker to sell

357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BMH " Blockmesh " is it Scam !! or ? on: November 27, 2019, 03:08:19 PM
I find it really strange for people who invested in a token and then start asking information after. Instead of finding information directly from the official website and support channels, they also approach strangers who never really heard about that project.

now the price as 3 satoshis   Huh
Maybe this is the real value after they released their product. Based on the price and avikz's comment, it's probably a poor one. You overpaid.

Code:
https://localcryptos.com/Bitcoin/Philippines
Code:
https://localcryptos.com/Ethereum/Philippines

Bentahe ng LocalCryptos:

1. No KYC required to use the platform.
2. Non-custodial. You have control over your funds (you can export the private keys).
3. Better UI/UX.
4. Support in-person (cash) transactions (unlike LBC).

Para sa mga interesadong sumubok, makikita ang iba't ibang tutorials kagaya ng pagbenta o pagbili sa kanilang FAQ
