Today we will be kicking off the BLAST premier spring finals with the group a matches. The tournament will officially start in about 4 hours with the Vitality-Imperial match.I think Vitality will have a comfortable win.
In the G2-C9 match, I expect that G2 will win even if it is difficult.In the last match of the day, Heroic-Complexity, I expect heroic to win 2-0.

Things will change for those who are chasing to get qualified to TI because of the DPC points that will be distributed for this Bali major. Remember that this is going to be the last major for this year prior to TI, cmiiw. Too short for Talon as they only need a few points to qualify. While some teams might be up after gaining a lot of points after this Bali major. But I think that even after this Bali major, Talon will still be able to qualify and get a secured slot for TI. There are already 5 slots secured and Talon is on the 6th place because some teams who are gonna play in Bali are already qualified for the TI and that's not a competition anymore for Talon. Yeah, I have the same feeling that Talon will still secure a slot through having enough DPC points for the TI but let's see how things will change because we'll never know how teams will perform until we see the end of this major. It feels like another year has passed on and that's another quick one while many good teams are still struggling and their last resort is to go through the qualifiers which is the hardest part of going in to have that slot in the TI. How I wish that this TI will still have the wild card but before talking with that, focusing now first with the upcoming major.

Just watched the series of Execration and Blacklist. They've just battled for the DPC points and placing but both of them are going to the Bali major. Blacklist ended as the 2nd place and Execration as the 3rd and there's the difference of the points they've won by 100.
While Bleed Esports as the 1st place for the DPC Sea. Right now, I'm watching the match of Boom Esports and Army Geniuses, one of them will remain on division 1 and that's whoever wins the series while the loser will be back to division 2. Boom won the 1st game.

Just as people thought that Talon emerged as the region's best team, they now failed to qualify for this season's last major. Talon only needs 40 points to qualify in the TI but now they need the luck to stay in the top 12 DPC ranking which is still very likely. But it signifies that the region remained hotly contested and it is a good sign because they need to up their games in order to compete with the best on the world stage. These 3 teams need to be competitive in Bali as they badly lack the points to qualify for TI.

Another team inside the top 12 that failed to qualify for Bali is TSM and it is almost certain that it will find itself outside the top 12 after the Bali major.

Yes, unless the teams at the bottom are the ones dominating the upcoming Bali major there is a high chance that Talon will be in TI without further competing in the regional qualifier and the last-chance qualifier. Qualifying again won't be easy for Talon if their DPC points aren't enough since all the current SEA representatives are possible to play as well knowing they need more points and a strong finish in Bali to secure TI slots thru the DPC points system.

Execration needs to finish the Bali major at the 5th-6th place the least in order for them to have more than what Talon has. Because their current DPC point now is 740, Talon has 1120. So, if Execration ends with that place they will earn 400 DPC points and that will make it 1140 DPC points and that's more than 20 points with Talon. Or if they end up with 7th-8th place, they'll get +300 DPC points and that makes them 1040 DPC points and they've got more with Team Spirit and beastcoast but the problem is, these two teams are also gonna participate in Bali so they'll for sure gonna have more too. I'm thrilled and excited to see how this will go.

And I wonder if any of us here will be watching live irl. Maybe in the next bull run in 2025 I will try if a major is happening near in my country.

I would love to but I can't, hoping someday that it gets close and I want to watch live too.

In other esports, they're doing pretty well but Dota 2 is a tough competition in the world of Esports. Sadly with Boom Esports, they're relegated to division 2. Together with Xerxia, they're back there and will have another tough competition to go back to the division but I don't think that we'll see that soon as the next tournaments are going to be invitationals and as well as through regional qualifiers for the TI.

Yes, that's true and Boom Esport must really work hard to be able to beat other competitors in division 2 so they can return to division 1 and have the opportunity or opportunity to compete in TI tournaments so they can have more experience when competing with other big.
But for some reason I'm not too sure that Boom Esport can get that far to enter the TI tournament.

Talking about the Indonesian Dota 2 team, maybe they can learn more and also add some experience so they can compete with other countries' Dota 2 teams.

Boom is strong and they even won majors but it's just that they've changed roster and they can't keep up with the old roster they've got that has won majors. They should have budgeted that roster until they've been having hard time now.

Maybe after winning the major they feel satisfied and proud so they forget that actually they still need a further step to get victory in every Dota 2 tournament.
It will be difficult for them to use the old list because they are used to the new one and of course there will be many changes if this is done.

The only surprise result in the first matches of the BLAST premier spring finals was Imperial's win against vitality.Imperial played really well as a team and vitality couldn't show any presence on the overpass map that imperial chose. Apex and dupreeh's very bad performance allowed them to lose this match.
Faze had a very comfortable win against astralis, the only player who could play astralis was blameF. We see that the other players had a very bad performance in terms of kills.

Yes, that's true and Boom Esport must really work hard to be able to beat other competitors in division 2 so they can return to division 1 and have the opportunity or opportunity to compete in TI tournaments so they can have more experience when competing with other big.

There's no way they can forget after getting a good result in the previous season, and tbh their management did a good job bringing in good players on the roster. Unfortunately, the players couldn't synergize well, and it showed when Mushi had to play in some of their remaining series and made the team perform better.

The other quarter-final will be an absolute banger, Vitality vs FaZe. This will be a close one for sure but I'll have to go with Vitality. They won all BO3 against FaZe without dropping a map so far in 2023 and I can see them continue that streak here.

It was like all things were under control for G2 but they left the bomb unguarded a little early. Imperial's move was really smart with FalleN and JOTA. While JOTA was covering him FalleN defused the bomb in smoke which was really an impressive round for them.

But even a play like this wasn't enough to prevent a 13-16 loss on that map and a 2-1 loss in total.

But even a play like this wasn't enough to prevent a 13-16 loss on that map and a 2-1 loss in total. 

I saw that game and that was really an impressive ninja moves. I did not expect that when they are hovering near the bomb site. Then they both suddenly jumped down and the sole guard of the bomb. It was a lapse on G2's judgement.

Imperial also had a blunder on the round prior to this one where they are 2 against 1. It was in round 19 where Hooxi was left in G2 and Jota and Vini of Imperial don't know where the bomb is. They might have thought the round is over with 15 seconds left in the clock SO they ran back to A while hooxi planted the bomb in B. It was clear that Imperial should have won that round but Hooxi stole it from them.

Imperial had an impressive first half but they could not finish. G2 is really strong in the T side so even when they are down 6-9 in the first half, they totally dominated Imperial in the second half. In the end, G2 is just too much for them. They are still very impressive though. They are still not out and they won their match against Complexity. They will face Heroic tomorrow.

The Blast Spring Semi Finals are being played today and the Grand Finale is coming up tomorrow. The first match today is going to be Heroic vs Imperial. Its nice to see that a Brazilian team managed to go so deep in the tournament by beating Vitality and Complexity. FalleN is one of my all time favourite players and it's awesome to see him still play competitively at such a high level. I really would like to see the Brazilians reach the finals, but Heroic is the number 2 team in the world and they beat FaZe 2-0, my money is on Heroic to win. The second match is G2 vs Vitality, which is going to be a much closer match as the two EU teams are quite similar in strength. Vitality is currently the #1 team in the world after winning IEM Rio and the Paris Major. That is why I am going to stick with Vitality for this one, the final is likely going to be Heroic vs Vitality, where I think Vitality should go all the way.

That was a good call by Fallen. The 2-1 loss against G2 was respectable, they put up a good fight on all 3 maps. Never thought I could see him competing in top-tier CSGO again in 2023. Last night against Complexity he had the highest rating. It was crazy considering he was also calling (IGL). No wonder Furia and paiN are bidding for him now.

Let's see how Imperial will fare against Heroic. I'm expecting Imperial to take at least 1 map (+1.5 handicap bet).

The second match is G2 vs Vitality, which is going to be a much closer match as the two EU teams are quite similar in strength. Vitality is currently the #1 team in the world after winning IEM Rio and the Paris Major. That is why I am going to stick with Vitality for this one, the final is likely going to be Heroic vs Vitality, where I think Vitality should go all the way.

Also betting on Vitality for the second semi-final. Their performance last night against FaZe showed they're still that major winning team. Another Vitality-Heroic grand final, the IEM Rio final rematch, would be very fun to watch.

Imperial has improved and I honestly didn't even expect them to have such a good tournament.There is an increase in their performance and if they improve a little more, they will surely come to better places.Although they made a surprise ninja defuse in the G2 match, they couldn't win the match, but we can't say that they played badly.
In the quarterfinals they were paired with complexity and they managed to eliminate their opponent with a good team play.Complexity has good players but they couldn't achieve success.
In the other quarterfinal match, they eliminated their opponent with a good win against the last major champion faze.I was expecting vitality to win and they didn't surprise me.Twistzz and broky played well, but karrigan and rain played very badly, which balanced them out.

Speaking of DOTA events. Tomorrow is the start of DreamLeague Season 20 in Stockholm, Sweden. Bad news for SEA representative Execration, its players' visas were not able to catch up with the schedule and they are now replaced by BetBoom from CIS.

And also regarding the last major this year in Bali, Indonesia. It's unfortunate that there are no teams with Indonesian players who are able to qualify. I already read some online comments about Indonesians not interested in going to the venue apart from the tickets being expensive and that they are expecting more foreign tourists, especially from nearby countries to cheer the games.

Not really, there are still a lot of interest for Dota 2 and that is because we've got two threads for esports and the other folks have been posting also there so, maybe the other one is more active than this.

Anyway, small tips from me if you are betting on this. Draw seems like the best option so far as alot of teams are getting draws since yesterday so goodluck guys  

For the DreamLeague S20, all matches for the group stage 1 are only 2 maps so yeah betting for a draw is more likely. But for the group stage 2, it's now best of 3 so that's where the harder part will start.

There are still a lot of interest in the Dota scene. It's just that this tournament is treated as a minor and not something big right now. Overall there aren't that many esports league that are happening right now anyway, so it's not just Dota 2 who's receiving the cold treatment.

Anyway, small tips from me if you are betting on this. Draw seems like the best option so far as alot of teams are getting draws since yesterday so goodluck guys 

Draw is usually the outcome of this best of two games. Also depends on the teams that are playing - if the other one has been performing quite well recently, I might bet on that team though again, that's still a coin toss basically.

We have reached the end of the tournament after watching a lovely series in the final stage between Heroic and Vitality. As it was a duel between the 1st and 2nd ranked teams I was expecting a solid fight and it was what we got thankfully. But whichever team won they did it by a really nice score gap every time. Even the decider map didn't end by overtime. Because Vitality played CT side really horrible on Inferno and couldn't fight back much against Heroic.

Round 14 on the decider map was just incredible truthfully. There was hell of an action at banana. There was a great defending by TeSeS while there was smoke. He got 4 frags as he hunted 4 Vitality members who come out of smoke one by one. However Spinx shot him and he did even a 1v3 later on to win the round by having a plant.

I am jumping on that train today. No analysis just singles on draw in every match, I need half of them to pass to break even with small profits and everything better than that will make me happy. I had a ticket yesterday for 5$ on 8 draws, almost 3.5k $ and of course missed only one, damn you Entity 

Let's start with 3/4 in early games and then I am going even bigger in each consequent round
