1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Polkadot Good For Future? on: March 04, 2021, 01:46:52 PM
Some Defi Coins play very well on crypto market. Is it good time to invest in Polkadot Coin?

My opinion is - yes, for sure. Polkadot's ecosystem continues to grow. This is attracting more and more attention and investors to itself. As in recent days / weeks, quite large companies from different continents have decided to buy a stake in Polkadot.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you guys think about the Old coins? on: March 04, 2021, 01:41:48 PM
In my opinion, the old coins are still not to be neglected. There are coins like EOS and DASH that continue to evolve and announce good news around them.

EOS has launched an Ethereum-based token. With the new integration, EOS tokens can be used naturally in Ethereum-based decentralized applications. In addition, with pNetwork's forging mechanisms, they can be seamlessly integrated into Ethereum's DeFi and DEX.
In addition, EOS-based decentralized applications can interact with Ethereum in a decentralized manner.

There is also an increasing trade in DASH, with the volume of transactions between traders showing a daily report in the range of $ 2.5 billion. The number of purchase orders is always above that of sales, with the 11 largest crypto exchanges showing a clear accumulation of large holders.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is happening to altcoins in this bull season on: March 04, 2021, 01:35:21 PM
We are already in March 2021 now, I'm guessing first quarter of the year is almost over, now how many altcoins really benefits from btc hitting 50k ? In 2017 when btc hit 19k all altcoins are pumping like no tomorrow, even shitcoins made incredible bounces but why aren't we seeing such this time around?

Analysts say there are strong signs that the altcoin season is just beginning.

They give the Average Directional Index as the most obvious sign that the altcoin season has not yet begun. ADX is a trend measurement tool that also includes two lines with a directional pointer.

The ADX indicator has dropped below 20, which suggests that the prevailing trend is over and a new trend is emerging.

At the same time, the red DMI has completed a bearish crossover, signaling that sellers already have control - or in this case, altcoins will take over Bitcoin.

4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PayPal will be Buying CURV for much as 500$ Million? on: March 04, 2021, 01:16:19 PM
Paypal has done it again and according to the source of Coindesk, it is just a rumor they are buying a crypto custody firm "CURV".
They are seeing now the potentials of cryptocurrency, So what do you think are their plans in the future? This could be good news to PayPal users who are into crypto.

More information and

PayPal has serious crypto ambitions!

They officially unveiled their crypto services in October last year with the launch of a partnership with industrial startup Paxos.

The services officially launched in the days following this announcement, opening it to eligible users in the United States on November 12.

They also have plans for a new special crypto business unit, according to CEO Daniel Schulman, who spoke during a conversation about the company's revenue on Wednesday. There he said:

"We all know that the current financial system is outdated and we can imagine a future where transactions are completed in seconds, not days; a future where transactions need to be cheaper to complete; and a future that allows all people to be part of the digital economy, not just the wealthy. We are investing heavily in our new crypto, blockchain and digital currency business unit to help shape this more inclusive future. "
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone over here accepting Crypto as payment ?... on: March 02, 2021, 08:45:02 PM
Hello,

Just wondering if anyone sells stuff online or offers services and accepts BTC or Altcoins as payment...

What steps you take after receiving your crypto ? u leave em there ? u cash out ASAP ? anyone converting to stable coins anymore (and which is the best) ?....

i tried converting my BTC to USDT BAD IDEA !! huge fees including conversion fees, gas fees, gas fees again to send to exchange...

How do you guys go about this whole thing ...?

In my opinion, accepting Bitcoin as a payment for a service is not at all appropriate, precisely for the reason you mentioned - high fees. I personally tried accepting payments for a service in crypto, but the result was the same as yours, not a good idea.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can / cannot replace the banks ? on: March 02, 2021, 08:37:46 PM

They are of the point of view that since internet cannot replace the newspapers, the same is true with the banks. Being a crypto lover, i would love to see banks eliminated but does these big people with so much money will let that happen  Huh

In my opinion, the global financial system is so structured and managed that it cannot be replaced. Banks and the people / governments behind them simply cannot afford to give the power and control they have by running banking institutions to freely and transparently managed systems such as cryptocurrencies.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I think POLKADOT is still really undervalued on: March 02, 2021, 06:47:59 PM
Polkadot is a great Defi project in my opinion, and one that has the potential to replicate in the Defi space the same type of influence that ethereum has in the smart contracts space.
Thr Polkadot blockchain is like a robust network that allows the integration and combination of different Defi platforms such that real life-like financial services can be gotten through the blockchain.
This makes it very valuable in my opinion and its tokens price relatively very much undervalued

Things have been going pretty well for Polkadot lately, news such as that Swiss-based investment product supplier 21Shares (formerly Amun) may have increased DOT's momentum after announcing the launch of the first Polkadot ETP (PDOT) yesterday. According to the press release, PDOT will be included in the list of SIX Swiss Exchange. I think this project still has a very good future.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Citibank Article "Bitcoin At the Tipping Point" on: March 01, 2021, 08:52:29 PM
It really is a very interesting article and I think it can come close to the truth. We see that Institutional engagement with Bitcoin is growing more and more. As this year, the interest of financial institutions is becoming stronger and more focused. Hopefully the year will bring us more good news.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin end the dollar’s reign? on: March 01, 2021, 08:45:20 PM
Bitcoin is unlikely to replace the dollar as a global currency. This is also said by one of the highest rated analysts of foreign currencies.

The global currency is the one that facilitates cross-border trade, including investment and international debt markets. Global central banks hold foreign exchange currencies to protect against significant fluctuations in exchange rates, as well as in exchange rates. I think we are a long way from when Bitcoin will be able to do that.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where would you sell if you had bought 10 Bitcoin at $100? on: March 01, 2021, 08:41:09 PM
If I had bought 10 Bitcoins for $ 100, I sincerely hope I could now keep more than 10 in my wallets. I mean, I'd rather keep them, and wait a long time for a bitcoin to become at least a 6-digit amount.

But, we can always speculate on things that did not happen and think what would happen if ....  Huh
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another month of March on: February 28, 2021, 04:30:11 PM
I will keep this short, we all know how month of March do not favour bitcoin at all, bear market started ending of February and today is the last day of February, hope the market will not still go downside? I do fair the month of March because bitcoin and generally all cryptocurrencies do suffer in price declination during this time.

What you think this coming month (March) will bring?

I don't think anyone can predict what the market will bring us in March, but I still think that the bear market may last a few more weeks. It remains to be hoped that it is not too long.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this still a good time on: February 28, 2021, 04:03:16 PM
Is it over already or it's not too late to invest in altcoins right now? I'm new to this crypto thing and I've been told to invest in top altcoins or BTC but the market isn't looking so good and I don't know if this is still a good time to invest or wait for red market

The best time to invest is during the bear market and falling prices.
When the market is down - buy. When the market starts to rise - sell.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: who controls the bitcoin price? on: February 28, 2021, 04:00:10 PM
In general, the price of a thing, whether it is a cryptocurrency or not is determined by how much demand and interest there is in it. If no one wants it and is not looking to buy it, its price drops. As here, the supply itself is essential. If the market is oversaturated, the price will also fall.
14  Economy / Speculation / Re: ARE WE STILL BULLISH OR BEARISH ? on: February 28, 2021, 03:52:05 PM
I don't think the market correction is that striking, but Bitcoin came in this year with a price of around $ 30K. And this is much less even than the current level of decline.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a Lifeboat on: February 26, 2021, 08:05:28 PM
The world is changing and this is inevitable. We go through different economic stages, and cryptocurrencies are the inevitable new beginning of currencies and a new economic system.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you use bitcoin? on: February 26, 2021, 07:56:37 PM
There are many countries where bitcoin is not accepted legally, so how do you use bitcoin in that country? Usually if you raise the level of bitcoin use in that country then you may get into legal trouble.
So how do you use your earned bitcoin in that country.

Given that Bitcoin is completely anonymous, I don't think it's very difficult to use it for different purposes. It may be more difficult to withdraw funds from Bitcoin in some countries and some exchanges, but it is still not possible. But I personally think that the best application of Bitcoin is to keep it as an asset with increasing value.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: First time scammed , very frustrated on: February 25, 2021, 07:15:21 PM
This is a very unpleasant feeling, which I regret. In the crypto world we have to be very careful, because there are many people who take advantage of people and the fact that everything is anonymous in these cases is a plus for fraudsters.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin anonymous? on: February 25, 2021, 07:06:42 PM
Is Bitcoin entirely anonymous? It’s common for people to say that in reality bitcoin is absolutely anonymous but are not knowledgeable enough to know that is pseudonymous . Bitcoin being pseudonymous rather than the assumed anonymous gives us an understanding that each user has a established public address. So that further tells us theoretically bitcoin address can be traced back using an IP address or an exchange account.
We should be more concerned about to what level or extent is bitcoin anonymous ?

In my opinion, anonymity is one of the main ideas that stand
not only behind Bitcoin but also behind all cryptocurrencies. Anonymity and independence, that's where it all starts.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: POLKADOT is making a lot of noise right now. What do you think? on: February 24, 2021, 08:46:33 PM
There has also been an announcement of polkadot recently. And you see, it's currently priced at 17$. In the last 7 days it has gone up by about 80%. And it is at on top 4 position. So give your comment about polkadot (dot token).

There is a lot of interest around Polkadot, not from anyone but from the big players on Wall Street. This is an interesting fact and definitely draws attention to it, but I think it is too early to draw any large-scale conclusions about its future.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin did you make the most money from? on: February 24, 2021, 08:38:50 PM
For me, that had to be Ripple. I traded for 100%+ thrice and still holding a position at $0.40.
My next coins are:

1) Ripple
2) ADA
3) Bitcoin
4) Ethereum

What's yours?

I think that BTC, ETH and ADA are the coins that can bring us big profits in the short and long term. But Ripple, in my opinion, is already losing its value and may soon go down. With the problems that have started and are getting bigger, I don't think Ripple will make a some leap. Personally, I would not risk investing in XRP.
