Do their caves have internet, the same as yours?  Or are you under a bridge?  Huh

Yes, we have our internet inside our caves.

Stay Away and Stay Clear of Group Buys and Pre Orders. The promoters only wants to make money out of you.
187  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast launches sales of the Baby Jet on: August 16, 2013, 01:25:52 AM
PREORDERS HURT BTC ECONOMY BY PUTING ENORMOUS GAINS IN HANDS OF BUSINESS
This makes them behave as if they got all of us by the balls (I am thinking BFL / Avalon after batch 1)

I remember this saying fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me, 3rd time no preorders lol

STOP PAYING FOR VAPORWARE  demand manufacturers do what ALL normal businesses do TAKE RISK and have 100% motivation to get the product in your hands as they need to cover their R&D

This whole money upfront business is making this the only tech sector where electronics actually go UP in prices months after it starts selling.
If you dont like it STOP GIVING them MONEY and hold your BTC which is a hell of an investment on its OWN.

Sorry had to rant but this is just plain WRONG

Yes No More Pre Orders
188  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast launches sales of the Baby Jet on: August 16, 2013, 12:59:39 AM
Delivery to Bulgaria (EU Country). Really?HuhHuhHuh??

Holy Moses, so that's how they get some extra money by overcharging on shipping? There's no way shipping to EU costs $750 Roll Eyes.

Hi Everyone,

Regarding shipping, we have not yet secured rates that we are happy with. We are working with two international air freight companies to secure better rates. Once we complete this process, we will absolutely refund the difference in shipping costs back to our customers.

John
HashFast.com

Shipping of what?  What are the dimensions, weight of shipping boxes? What is in them, bricks?

Please stop this scam immediately.

It could turn out to be one, since they don't accept credit cards. Stay Away Please. No Pre order.

192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: August 15, 2013, 09:16:58 AM
Honestly this forum is too full of cancer.   Everyone instantly attributes every statement as a scam or as FUD.  All I am saying is, why are more people not concerned with the fact this uses an external power supply?   I have _never_ seen a 4U in a data center with an external power supply.  Further it logistically does not work out with the design of most cabinets, unless you're planning on putting it in a 23" rack.  In any case, you sacrifice density, which means an increase in cost, as space isn't free.  I would also imagine the aesthetics of such an arrangement would not be appreciated by the host.

It's not external, it just doesn't come with it's own power supply.  This is likely due to customs reasons, as lots of Avalon customers has their units held up in europe due to their power supplies.  For batch 3 Avalon had an option of shipping without one. It also simplifies their supply chain.

FSM FORBID they actually took into consideration other mining manufacturer's mistakes and preemptively circumvented them.

AMATEURS.

*cough* pictures of a box with fans, Pre-orders, no proof of working asic-prototype *cough*

SHEEPLE.

The only thing missing is the Asic Chip, anything else is secondary. Show us the Asic Chips.
193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: August 15, 2013, 06:30:53 AM
Too many princesses in here. I don't care what it comes in, as long as it is able to hash then it's all good!

Just Show US the Asic Chips.
194  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: DO NOT JOIN ANY GROUP BUY !! Beware Don't Join any Group Buy!! on: August 15, 2013, 02:56:30 AM
Don't Join Any Group Buy. Beware and Stay Away. The promoters don't give a shit if your orders has problems. They will Hide inside their Caves and pretend to not know anything.
195  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: CoinTerra announces its first ASIC - Hash-Rate greater than 500 GH/s on: August 15, 2013, 12:54:07 AM
No more pre-order please...

dito.. would be nice to purchase a in stock item for next day delivery.

If a company offers a miner at a reasonable price, people are going to order it ahead of time, and by the time the company has it all their stock will already be accounted for.

or not .. as we seen bfl .. avalon .... stop falling for these pre-orders ! no more pre-orders ! want to sell something ? have in stock !

No More Pre Orders. Please
196  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast launches sales of the Baby Jet on: August 15, 2013, 12:49:50 AM
No More Group Buy. Stay Away
197  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: KNC just posted pics of their case, PCB samples coming next week \o/ on: August 15, 2013, 12:47:10 AM
We want to see the Asic Chips.
198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: August 15, 2013, 12:37:14 AM
Cooling case material and appearance aside.  Here is the real issue.  These were supposed to be professional mining machines.  I have yet to see a 4U machine with an external power supply.  Further, in an average cabinet, where would you put said external power supply and be able to close the door?  Do we just have to eat rackspace and deal with cable management for 3cm bundles per machine?   Seems like a nightmare.  I have to be honest, I've got a fairly sizable order with them and at this point I'm debating asking for a refund and/or selling them.  Their product is starting to look more and more like the cobbled stacks of FPGA boards on stand-offs with fans zip tied to them and USB hubs taped everywhere, not that they're doing this, but it has the design and foresight of.

-1 KnC Miner.

yes PLEASE cancel your order!!!  thanks!!

PS-  I have no clue why Bitcoinarama uses all his time trying to get more people to buy these..   let's all just say these are terrible and will crumble during their first hashing

I don't, it's just clear there are people here intent on creating fear, uncertainty and doubt for their own gain.

I couldn't care less what people buy as long as they research it themselves and can afford not to go into debt over it.

The guys working on this are a knowledgeable, fun and competitive bunch. I hope once they have something worth showing they'll make an effort to demonstrate it so you can see the team.

Marcus doesn't want to go on camera with Sam again though, as Sam is never happy and keeps re-taking, and Marcus just wants it done in one take. This is why Marcus looks so pissed off in their first video, it literally almost came to blows, apparently there were some funny outtakes they may release at somepoint.

It's the total opposite with the tech side though. Sam won't let Marcus be a perfectionist as time is the priority (in this project).

see thats all I wanted - PHOTOS!  lol. I get that things could be changed...but this shows that they are making progress and plan to keep on schedule (are putting their best efforts to do such at least)

Show us the working Asic Chips please.
199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: August 14, 2013, 02:51:32 PM
What is the point of having pcb samples when they don't have any real working asic chip to show. Without the chips what's the point of having the pcb to show??

We want to see the Kncminer Asic Chip photo and videos.
200  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: August 14, 2013, 12:42:33 AM
i am a paid sponsor/endorser.

they don't tell me what to say and i certainly don't have to take flack from guys like you.

Everything I've said that related to you was based on what you wrote. You have a pretty shitty attitude and earned whatever "flack" came your way. Regardless of that this thread is about HashFast so let's stay on topic.

As stated before (and by multiple users on this thread)

The current Refund Policy is not a very good one,

I recommend that they implement a refund policy up and until shipping starts. This type of policy only enforces that the company is confident they will ship on time and if they don't it allows customers to reevaluate their decision to purchase based on new facts at that time.

I personally still believe that HashFast will have a working ASIC, I'm not yet convinced on their timing but they are definitely a capable group.

I strongly disagree with the pricing they are advertising based on what I believe the hashrate will be by the end of October but that is a personal assessment.

I also disagree with the Bitcoin Only acceptance. Accepting Credit Cards and Paypal brings a lot of trust to customers as they have something to fall back on that is proven. Companies can go back on their "word" but PayPal and Credit Card Protection won't. (I again don't think HashFast has any intention of defrauding customers).

Good comment. That is what we need and I always emphasize on!!
