201  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] xCrowd*US/UK*TH/s+ Units on: August 13, 2013, 01:12:59 PM
Don't understand why he needs to hold the payments in escrow for 3 months with nothing to show? if he has the money for nre and produced the miners why the need to hold our money? very fishy
202  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] xCrowd*US/UK*TH/s+ Units on: August 13, 2013, 12:42:21 AM
So is he the guy on the photo??
203  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] xCrowd*US/UK*TH/s+ Units on: August 12, 2013, 12:34:20 AM
Maybe is him? because he really never denies. very fishy why he wants to wait for last minute to provide the details?? so that the customers don't have time to check up on him???
204  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] xCrowd*US/UK*TH/s+ Units on: August 11, 2013, 09:20:59 AM
Why do we need to appease you who obviously isn't interested in purchasing from us in the future and reposting slanderous allegations. The poster above hasn't provided any proof of the links to those profiles and Abdi from xCrowd and we have already responded to it. You could either continue trolling our thread (you're on our ignore list anyways) or wait for when we release the details like everyone else.

The scary thing is we don't know who you are? You have never reveal your name? Let me quote you a few : Yifu has a name and lots of photo and video of him, Josh has the same, so is Kncminer, Sam Cole and others all of photos and name, but you have NONE, Nothing, No Name, No photo and no physical address.

I doubt you will give your Passport and Driving License and others supporting documents to John for  Verification?
205  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] xCrowd*US/UK*TH/s+ Units on: August 11, 2013, 04:49:48 AM
Is the details of you correct ? We never seen you before, so please take some photos of yourself, your partners , your office and your products and post them here. Right now we don't know who you are??

Founder appears to be a scammer but i will let you be the judge of that.  I dug up a bit of info on him.  Looks like he spent a lot of time trying to run investment scams in 2008 and 2009.  Also found his ebay account which basically has negative feedback for every transaction.  He does have a nice website and renderings though. Cheers. It came out quite readable on our test but we'll be looking into how to resolve this for future updates. Thanks for the screenshot.

Here's some free advice: Don't render giant blocks of text as an image. This is an embarrassingly amateur mistake, and it undermines your credibility. I haven't received an email from any company, large or small, in the past 3 years that has attempted to put the body text of their email as one big image. In your attempt to use some "alternative cool font", you created an announcement that is basically impossible to read on a mobile phone, and barely legible on a giant screen.

You should put a leash on your graphic designer, and keep him away from all text content. Let him go on making the pretty renderings and logos, but keep text as text.

Cheers, we will keep that into account for all our future communications. The point about the inability of having it translated automatically by google is an obvious point we also missed. Not a great start but thanks for the feedback everyone.

Patience not patients...

 Cheesy Couldn't resist eh?

I thought English originated from the United Kingdom? but how come he still make mistakes on simple grammar?  Grin

Could we ask if you were born in the UK or still an immigrant. From our understand they are a lot of Africans and middle east immigrants and those of Indian origins in the UK.?

The others were being more or less playful in correcting the misspelled word but you seem to have seen that as an excuse to ask an ignorant  question like that. No, you can't ask and please do keep a check on your own grammar.

Do you know why your ignore button is getting more yellow by the day? It's because more and more people are ignoring you on this board and for good reasons.

You are avoiding many questions and kept many secrets. Your price per gh/s are very high and very expensive. You do not have a working model. If you really have those NRE cover why not produced a working model as proof of your existence. You never dare to take in paypal and credit cards payments to proof your legitimacy.  Why? and Why?

They saY nONE, BUT at the back of their mind, good for us so we can mAKE more money with less difficulty. What a hypocrite!!

210  Other / Off-topic / Re: This is where the Avalon chips went on: August 11, 2013, 02:20:46 AM
Is that the slow boat from China?

211  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: CoinTerra announces its first ASIC - Hash-Rate greater than 500 GH/s on: August 11, 2013, 02:13:47 AM
Round 1
Avalon, BFL, ASICMiner

Round 2
BitFury and KNC

Round 3
HashFast, XCrowd, Cointerra, Avalon v2

The pricing in round 3 is going to be cut throat.  XCrowd priced at $16k for 2.4 THs units.    So far that is the best price; right?
Round 3 is likely to crash and burn, methinks--if KNC ships there's going to be blood in the water everywhere else. Customers will melt away even at the cutthroat prices offered, and companies will be skinned to the bone on profit and not want to bother continuing for but little remuneration.

If you have a miner that's paid its hardware costs by November, you're in a pretty good position and it becomes a drawn-out efficiency game until the price of bitcoin either goes up considerably again or some new and more efficient tech comes down the pike.

The lower the prices the better.
212  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast launches sales of the Baby Jet on: August 11, 2013, 02:08:12 AM
After pestering him , he decides to look into the refund policy and guarantee delivery time. You still do not accept credit cards, and most of your techs specs and are only doable on theory and not proven. Be careful and stay away and stay clear.
213  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] xCrowd*US/UK*TH/s+ Units on: August 11, 2013, 01:53:47 AM
In a way we thought yours has the lowest face value, but on the contrary we are wrong others in this time frame got much lower prices than yours. we think below 5 but above 3 Smiley
214  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] xCrowd*US/UK*TH/s+ Units on: August 11, 2013, 01:37:17 AM
way to expensive per gh/s. no proper office and contact numbers. no prototype or demo unit to show. If you have the funding go produce a working unit to show rather than collecting pre order money through escrow.

in the 1st place you have the funds to produced the units why need to collect pre order money through escrow? if you collect  partial deposits and the rest when payments is due that may be more acceptable. who wants all of our funds to be tied up for 3 months.?
215  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] xCrowd*US/UK*TH/s+ Units on: August 10, 2013, 03:58:40 PM
if your prizes can go much lower the better. i mean lower than what was stated.
216  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: CoinTerra announces its first ASIC - Hash-Rate greater than 500 GH/s on: August 10, 2013, 02:25:52 PM
More pre-orders. Sigh, I hope we don't get another BFL or BitSynCon.

We need more specs than this. Price per GH/s is a start.

Where are the technical specs, their design team, Fab, their address and contact numbers?
217  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] xCrowd*US/UK*TH/s+ Units on: August 10, 2013, 02:13:10 PM
can someone from BIRMINGHAM, UK go and check them out, do they really have an office?

218  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: CoinTerra announces its first ASIC - Hash-Rate greater than 500 GH/s on: August 10, 2013, 01:32:11 PM

Well, I agree on the prices. I don't see any need for credit cards and PayPal.

Possibly their acceptance reduces the likelihood of being scammed.

Consumers and customers need protection from being scammed
219  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast launches sales of the Baby Jet on: August 10, 2013, 06:56:07 AM
Now since the only payment option is in BTC Will I get the same ammount of BTC back should you fail to deliver by December 31st?

Orders are taken in BTC, in the unlikely event we get to refunds they will be given in BTC.

That's a big promise.

A btc rate of $100 is not the same as $150 in 2 months time. What a smoke screen promise.
220  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast launches sales of the Baby Jet on: August 10, 2013, 05:59:57 AM
Do not listen to cypherdoc. He is a shill.

If you want any answers? You'd want to hear it straight the hashfast guys.

He is definitely a shill
