61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining opportunities in Ukraine on: April 09, 2018, 11:52:26 AM
believe it safe to create mining farms in Ukraine especially in the regions.

Really?

your link is not working...  Huh
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Baikal Giant N - Cryptonight, Cryptonight-lite FPGA/ASIC miner on: April 09, 2018, 11:29:33 AM
News from Baikal, i recive this tweet.....
Is possibile?
They are in Panic!!!
https://twitter.com/baikalminer/status/983278127504769026?s=09

Of course it is possible. They know within a week or so the miner will be useless except for Bitmain's own shitcoin.

Good lesson for people who bought this miner. It won't be good even as home heater, maybe door stopper then?  Roll Eyes Grin
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain Antminer X3 -- 220KH+ Cryponight - 550W on: April 03, 2018, 12:17:15 PM
did someone here say that not all coins are forking?

Confirmed forks
Monero
Sumo
IPBC
Masari
Dero
Graft
Electroneum
AEON

Any other coin other than those will get destroyed by the asics. Minimum exchanges, which means 0 liquidity, no where to dump the coins, so no money being made.

Dont understand when general public will learn the lesson.
You know they mine with it before getting to you
You know they only release to public when the associated networks find out
You know that majority of Devs will fork away

So please explain to me the logic of then going out, spending thousands of dollars on a glorified paperweight within a few weeks?

At least overspending on a GPU i can mine whatever i want except being pigeonholed by some 2nd hand Cryptonazi company like Bitmain etc.

Its a joke, and whoever buys one, guess what the joke is on you.

There are a lot of people who have cash but are dumb, that's why they spend their easy or hard earned money for such doorstoppers like cryptonight asic's.

DGB will remove Qubit, Groestl & Skein. xvg is just another shitcoin that won't last long..

https://medium.com/@josiah_digibyte/digibyte-through-2018-wallets-algo-swap-and-why-you-dont-need-to-worry-about-a-fork-a22c407319d6

At this point in time it’s looking like SHA256 (Bitcoin ASICs) and Scrypt (Litecoin ASICs) will stay, and we’ll probably replace Qubit, Groestl & Skein.

We’re aware that some people have gone out and purchased things such as Groestl / Skein miners with them only having come out since November ’17, however we’re also aware there are a decent number of other blockchains that users can still use those ASIC miners on, so those with the relatively new ASICs still have other options they can pursue.

Lol, he's a hypocrite. That's like a double standard.

With the following quotes:

"By changing some of the mining algorithms, we’re going to be doing away with some (not all) ASIC mine-able algorithms so that we still get the distribution afforded to us by GPU miners."

"So why are we doing this? If we had to describe why in two words, it would be “Security” & “Decentralization”."

"At this point in time it’s looking like SHA256 (Bitcoin ASICs) and Scrypt (Litecoin ASICs) will stay, and we’ll probably replace Qubit, Groestl & Skein."

In other words, that's not Decentralization cause he favors SHA256 and Scrypt ASIC still. No body mines SHA256 and Scrypt with GPU's... LOL

But it would means a dead of X10 Mining, if they change the algo`s.   Bacause more than 100 TH/s who mine now DGB go to other coins!

But it would means a dead of X10 Mining, if they change the algo`s.   Bacause more than 100 TH/s who mine now DGB go to other coins!
Not happy.
Was supporting DGB. hence i bought x10. Wankers

Guys having problem.
My miner a while of mining doesnt let me to connect.
Any clue why?

Anyone who has the skills (unfortunately  i do not) should keep alive the old blockchain in this hardfork and keep going those algorithms. Just taking away this algos is not what the comminty wants... so we need to show to the dev team, if they do so, they will have a split like ethereum and ethereum classic... maybe they consider to do not then...
How does decentralization fot to the fact, that one persn (or maybe a few persons in the dev team) decide to stop these algorithms. This is centralization as it could not be shown better and if they do so really, i think and i hope that this is the end of Digibyte...

Removing algorithms because of decenralization reasons and keeping exactly those two asic algorithms where you have the most centralization sounds just ridiculous to me...

You can keep old chain as long as you want. You will end having worthless coins, because no one will assept them - nor exchange, nor anyone. If the devs want to change algo, they will do that and no one is going to prevent that. Sad but true.

66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Baikal Giant X10 on: March 30, 2018, 12:42:44 PM
As one wise man said - always buy just new tech asic and always on the first batch Wink I bought x10 on the second batch and already received my invested money, but to buy now is definitely not a good time. Better to invest in a coins as they are tanking.
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Baikal Giant X10 on: March 29, 2018, 08:44:27 AM
someone  wrote to Baikal asking them when they will release the new algo ?

yes, many times. Same bullshit answers from them.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Baikal Giant X10 on: March 28, 2018, 02:30:44 PM
Hi guys, Im selling Baikal Giant x10 4800USD. Shipping from Europe-Czech --> to Europe.
PM me and We can discuss about safe delivery.

Maybe you should overthink your price. You geht 'new' ones with 45days warranty for 2699$.

Why the heck someone should buy yours?  Grin

the price might seem not so overpriced if you consider that you don't need to wait endless for the delivery from China, deal with Customs, CE mark, etc. And again, I think we all pretty sure that nobody of us got "new" device =)

By the way I would sell my X10 for 3800EUR, location Germany. PM me Grin

Yes wait for an idiot to come to buy it ... $2699 straight from baikal and no one is buying why someone buys yours ? Is it from gold made ?
"directly from baikal"  - you say it like it would be an advantage, rather than hindrance... Don't mix the things. I would immediately buy your X10 for 2200 EUR ($2699) with all taxes and customs payed in Germany and resell it the same day on ebay for at least 3300EUR.
And by the way for sure it is some gold inside, cause I've just sold one already - looking forward to sell one more Grin

Actually I have just bought 2 X10 from Baikal. All was fast and ok. And they are new units.

I would buy from Europe but for 2400 euro. Not more. More is simply dumb.

agree, all those resellers just ruining everything again. Always buy directly from the manufacturer and don't waste money on resellers.
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain Antminer X3 -- 220KH+ Cryponight - 550W on: March 24, 2018, 07:32:16 PM
So it seems like only the Baikal N is going to make some cash cause it's being delivered right these days and still no fork for now.

The "lucky" buyers of the X3 will enjoy it for a few days and then, the question is: how will they use their X3?

they can heat their house or flat with them  Grin

no coincidence, just a scheduled xmr algo update

i know, just being ironic  Grin

asicminermarket.com send me FAKE DHL NUMBER Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

lost my 3800USD
Mine is not working either.

why do you order from asicminermarket.com? They have very bad reputation and a lot of claims of scaming ppl.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Baikal Giant X10 on: March 20, 2018, 11:42:27 AM
I asked a dew days ago and baikal said to me 4000 USD for x10, someone knows why they reduce the price??

Simple, cause they aren't selling fast enough. They lower price little by little to get the suckers that want to pay more first before getting the rest of the buyers. That's why they were selling at first for like $7000.

How they work:
Get suckers that wants to pay $7000, then when there's no more suckers, lower to $6000, and when no more suckers, lower again, rinse and repeat until stock is gone.

In other words, to maximize their profits since they aren't as big as Bitmain to be pumping out toasters non-stop.

So for more me, I woudn't pay anywhere close to $2000.

Remember, they were originally selling for $1188 so they had to make profits. Once they realized third party sellers were selling for a lot more, their price jumped.

Agree. Of course they made profit when selling first batch for 1188 usd. Imo, cost of manufacturing x10 can be as low as 200 usd or even lower for one miner, because labor and other parts are cheap in china + economy of scale.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Baikal Giant X10 on: March 20, 2018, 10:39:57 AM
I have contacted Baikal. They now have a MOQ of 2 units.

I would like to buy one. Does anyone wants to buy also one? We can both wire the money to him and then we get one each. I tried to lower to 1 as MOQ but they didn't adree.

Price is $2699

If the price were under 2k usd i would consider buying x10.

Baikal come back to the reality and we will support you
Don't overprice a miner that you was selling $1200 .... don't SCAM people !

Exactly. With today's situation it's even riskier to buy from baikal. They were selling x10 for 1200 and it was still a risk and now they want double for the same product and situation in crypto world has changed dramatically.
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Baikal Giant N - Selling at COST. on: March 18, 2018, 10:58:00 AM
why anyone would buy this stylish doorstoper?  Grin Wink
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Baikal Giant X10 on: March 17, 2018, 12:43:10 PM
You are talking for BAIKAL X10 that the batch 1 had $1200 fair price and now ?
$4000 ?
Did they increase the salaries for the tech workers in China ?

4000 now is cheap?` It was 7000 in januar
fuck that i paid $1400 for mine, And crypto was like three times higher back then
2k is the max id pay

The market will grow, dont forget it!  If baikal sell it for 1400 like bitmain in staple, how much can you earn soon?
Think positive!   I bought also in october.  But when I ordered it, it was also 20 usd per asic!   It will grow again.

Don't be so sure about the growth. It will take a lot of time for a market to grow to the December/January level. By that time there could be a new asics on the market and x10 could be obsolete. Alwyas plan for a pesimistic scenario - never for optimistic.
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Baikal Giant N - Cryptonight, Cryptonight-lite FPGA/ASIC miner on: March 17, 2018, 12:18:59 PM
bitmain/baikal/halong was just mining with them for months and now with upcoming monero fork (biggest hashraste of CN alg'os) they are just getting rid of uselles equipment. And situation shows that there are a lot of fools with money buying those things  Grin
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain Antminer X3 -- 220KH+ Cryponight - 550W on: March 16, 2018, 04:05:29 PM

Hahahaha just suck whatever you can out of us you little massive vampires.

Edit: for accuracy

hahaha everybody who bought at 12k deserves it Grin

its like a confession by fuckmain that the miner will be useless in 12days

this just shows how eager shitmain is to get rid of those miners before CN algo's hard fork.

BAIKAL SCAM
I am not satisfied with Baikal's MoQ and high price policy, But one thing i am sure is that Baikal is NOT SCAM

They always delivered the machines they get payment for.

They will deliver your doorstop don't worry the point is that it will only mine for 2 weeks then it goes to the door work ....
SO I CALL THIS SCAM or you want them to come to steal money directly from your wallet ?
Open your eyes and face it BAIKAL is not like at the past and they get pressure from their competitor
ASIC companies want to make cash and they don't care about their clients face it ....

If that can only run profitably for 2-4 weeks due to the change of PoW, who would buy?

the ones, who don't have knowledge but a lot of money Cheesy
