Here are the most recent results:

Monday 6th May
Crystal Palace 4-0 Manchester United

Huge embarrassment from Man United getting trashed by Crystal Palace of all clubs.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Anyway the books seem to think they're going to lose vs Arsenal at home in Old Trafford, giving them a generous line of 7.20, draw no bet at 5 and double chance at 3.10.  I think these are very good lines as the match is in Old Trafford.  They won't roll over that easy in front of their own fans.

Edit:  Ooo damn...  And just like that the line fell to 6.60, 4.70 and 3.

^  Yeah...  I don't really care about Jones too.  It would be cool to see him go up against Aspinall tho.  But yeah, who cares.  What I care about most is always just the next event.  I just wanna see these guys throw leather, make some bets and hopefully see the best match ups for future events.  And right now the best match ups are in the UFC.

And if ever the best match ups start going somewhere else like the PFL and Bellator then I'm gonna go ahead and watch that.

And I have been lurking in Layer Zero's Discord server.  It looks like it's slowing down there a bit.  Maybe the guys who farmed LZ with 10 or so wallets have already accepted what's in store for them.  And that means getting just 15% of their airdrop.  That's still not a bad deal imho.  Unless LZ will pay them for just one wallet.

The problem is not that they agreed to 15%, but the problem is that no one knows from what amount these 15% will be calculated. If only you could first check on the checker what amount was accrued and then decide whether these 15% are worth making unnecessary movements.

If it were up to me and since LZ really was working with the guys at Nansen and Chaos Labs...  I would not have started the self report and get 15% thing and just straight up announce that they have a list of sybils as analyzed by Nansen and Chaos Labs then tell them that LZ is giving them their fair due but just for one wallet.  I think that would be fair and it wouldn't have the PR disaster that happened.

But what's done is done.  And it was fun tho.  LZ Discord which was mostly quiet suddenly had a lot of traffic from sybils complaining.  Cheesy Cheesy

Should be a really good game tonight, the neutral would want Bayern to win to set up an all German final. In that scenario I’d definitely be cheering on Dortmund, I wonder if Klopp would be in with the Dortmund fans:D

I’m not sure if fairy tales exist in football though, Real will do what Real do in this competition which is find a way to win.

But they do exist...  Grin  Study CL 2012 Final with Bayern Munich under Jupp Heynckes vs Chelsea under Di Matteo.  And just imho, I think it would be more of a fairy tale if BVB wins vs Real Madrid in final.  Looking forward to it.

What does everybody think of BVB's chances vs Real Madrid?  Could they pull of an upset?  And what do you guys think of the prop bet 'BVB to win the UCL' at 3.30?  They could win one match out of three right?
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: May 09, 2024, 12:09:24 PM
If I'm not mistaken, there are three categories that are still very still, right? Which would be Jon Jones's and two others that I can't remember now. What are the UFC's plans to move? Will they bring Jones back?

Jon Jones' decision to come back will depend on his injury and if he feels like fighting.  The UFC could give fighters some offers, but the final say is always the fighters' decision.  So knowing Jones, he'll prolly come back at the end of the year.  Who the opponent might be is up in the air...  Hope it's not Miocic now.  All this wait just to see him vs Miocic?  Lmao, no thanks.

Anyway looking at closer at the event, it could be underdog city.  :/  Parlay busters all around.

This seems like an interesting airdrop project, I tried to open the link you provided but unfortunately my wallet doesn't seem to be able to claim this airdrop anymore, is there another way to successfully claim this airdrop?

It is what it says, you are ineligible, you can't claim when you are ineligible (what would VPN do in this case? — referring to @Hallroom's comment above) or is it that you farmed mode network and are supposed to be eligible but are not? If it's so, ask in mode network's discord.

Lmao.  Not even after pressing F5?  Cheesy  But I heard their airdrop wasn't that good tho...  So if you really didn't get in, don't fret.  Just move on to the next one.

I'll say this, I'll put all 10 stakes on Dortmund to win 1st leg against PSG. Not expecting it to hit, might lose the lead, not too bothered with it either way. Wishing everyone chasing the best of luck!

Haven't gotten back in this thread in a while and I noticed this post.  Lmao.  Cheesy

Did you put all 10 stakes in the second leg too?  Would be hilarious.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy  Good to see BVB win it tho ngl.

But yeah...  With PSG out and it's also looking likely that Bayern Munich will be out, Real Madrid gets it.  But I will be rooting for BVB.  Could be one of those crazy finishes of the season...  Weird that Chelsea winning the CL under RDM just popped up in my head.  Was so sure Bayern would win that night.

^  Why?  You got Nascimento?   Grin Grin Grin

Anyway here's a fight replay of Ruziboev vs Dumas.  The looked solid in his first couple of matches in the UFC.  But his opponents weren't really that good. His next match up vs Buckley will show us if this guy really got the goods.  My pick is Buckley but it feels iffy.  This guy could be legit.

If you guys are looking for a memecoin gem, I suggest you guys look up PURR in Hyper Liquid.  HL is a perp DEX in Arbitrum and mainnet but PURR is its first spot token in the exchange.  The rest are perps.  And it's looking like with Hyper Liquid setting themselves up as one of the next gen L1's, holding some PURR could serve as some kind of pseudo token for the project.  Dunno but yeah...  Chart is looking ok so far.  :/

Chart can be seen here...

^  The beauty of that tho is it's actually expected that Arne Slot will royally fail when taking over after Klopp.  And there'll prolly be a couple of seasons of this...  And who would they be setting up as the second coming to save Liverpool?  Oh look in a couple of years most likely Xavi Alonso will say he's ready to go back to Liverpool and be the next manager.  Lol.

It will exactly be that set up.  Watch.
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: May 07, 2024, 12:35:22 PM
^  Nascimento isn't really that good so this match up could end up like the one vs Marcos De Lima.  Watch the replay if you could find it...  Lewis did a flying knee.  Cheesy Cheesy

And his losses are vs tough guys except for the Spivak one which was sketchy.  But still no shame in losing to guys like Gane, Pav and Almeida.  The Tuivasa one was kinda sketchy too but that guy hits like a truck.

^  Uh...  With those projects mostly likely backed by VC money and all of them having topped at over 1 billion market cap, I don't think we could really consider them as 'gems'.  As far as I'm concerned gems are those somewhat unknown projects with high float, low market cap tokens and very well distributed.  Most of them are under 100m market cap...

From the top of my head I could name a couple but hesitant to share them as I could be wrong.  Cheesy Cheesy  These small caps are tricky.  :/
13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: May 06, 2024, 01:10:51 PM
First win for Lando and deserved.

He was the fastest in the track but without the safety car he was probably unable to win, he gained 2 position only for the timing of the safety, when Carlos and Oscar went to pit 20 seconds before the accident.

Anyway, as I told yestarday Mclaren was able to win this week with the big upgrade.

Next race will be the time of big upgrade for Ferrari.

The race I decided not to watch turned out to be interesting.  Lmao.  Cheesy  But yeah, I will surely not miss Emilia Romagna.  If the books again line Verstappen at 1.05 or something, and disrespect Leclerc and Sainz ny lining them at 20 - 30 then I'll def bet on both.  Miami GP showed that it can be done...  That Red Bull could lose at any moment.  If so then why not in Italy too.

Can't wait to watch it!  Can't believe I'm rooting for Ferrari out of boredom for Red Bull.  Cheesy

^  It doesn't really look that good but there are potential bangers in there.  The bangers from both sides could be Buckley vs Ruziboev and Menifield vs Ulberg.  One sided bangers could be coming from Lewis, Rebecki and Borshchev...  :/  Add in McKinney vs Ribovics in there too.

I think Menifield is live here.  Not sure why he's lined at 2.85 after seeing how he did vs Jacoby.  Should be a bit closer imho.

^  Same...  As things are with my onchain activities right now, I really have nothing to report.  Lol.  I may have used Merkly once or twice but nothing serious.  Just used it to test it as I've seen some guys mention it online.  And if I get flagged for being a sybil for that then oh well...  Really can't do about it now.

What I've mostly done was bridge thru Stargate going mostly from Arbitrum to Base and vice versa as I really need to.  That's pretty much it.  I use Debridge to go from EVM to Solana and Hyperlane from EVM to Cosmos eco.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2023/2024 on: May 05, 2024, 01:40:30 PM
Arne who?  :/

And yup...  Klopp left a huge void that not even Xavi Alonso, who's had a lot of success lately, is willing to fill.

You also don't know much about him as it seems just like many other people.  Grin  But we will find out what he is made of if Liverpool completes the deal officially soon.

Xabi Alonso is actually willing to manage Liverpool, but not now. I remember a comment of him a short time ago. I don't know why they don't just go for managers like Conte.

Oh for sure he's willing to manage Liverpool but what I'm saying is he wouldn't want to manage Liverpool right after Klopp's departure.  Grin  It would be a tall task and possibly could even kill his career if he doesn't emulate the same kind of success as Klopp.  Just like the next manager who's taking over after Guardiola at Man City...  These are traps imho.
17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: May 05, 2024, 01:25:26 PM
^  Yeah he opted for the low risk route.  Aldo knew that if he took Martinez down he'll def get R3 and therefore win the match if it was 1 - 1 after R2.  Eazy peazy.

Here are the results.

Alexandre Pantoja def Steve Erceg  UD
Jose Aldo def Jonathan Martinez  UD
Anthony Smith def Vitor Petrino  SUB R1
Michel Pereira def Ihor Potieria  SUB R1
Caio Borralho def Paul Craig  KO R2
Joanderson Brito def Jack Shore  TKO R2
Iasmin Lucindo def Karolina Kowalkiewicz  UD
Myktybek Orolbai def Elves Brener  UD
Drakkar Klose def Joaquim Silva   Decision  UD
Maurício Ruffy def Jamie Mullarkey  TKO R1
Dione Barbosa def Ernesta Kareckaitė  UD
Ismael Bonfim def Vinc Pichel  UD
Alessandro Costa def Kevin Borjas  TKO R2

UFC 301:  Post Fight Press Conference
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DGN6xqHpV2A

Some things I learned from the event is Erceg is the real deal even though he lost.  He's pretty good and would likely bet on him in his next match ups.

Aldo man...  He still has it.  Don't think he'll win vs the elite at 135 tho.

Petrino might either be a can or just needs more time.

Orolbai future title challenger?  Maybe in a couple of years?

Ruffy is pretty good.  Another prospect.  We'll see.

^ yeah, Layerzero is baiting. There is no way they can identify all sybils, so they are manipulating them into giving self-confessions.

Good sybilers will never fall into project's sybil's radar in first place, and won't give-in to such 'self-confess' tactics either.

So you're saying that if nobody reports and declares themselves as sybils then Layer Zero would end up looking stupid in the middle of all this?  I don't think so.  I mean before they even start with all the fuss about the sybils, shouldn't they already have a list of wallets that their really sure that are sybils?  I think they're doing this to shake the cage and have everybody know that they're not the ones to mess with.

But dunno...  With all that I just hope I get an airdrop.  Lol.  And I also hope I'm not marked a sybil.  Pretty confident that I never did any dumb sht to marked as one.

Edit:  Typos.

Do they still show it like Liverpool are in the title race?  Smiley  They literally need a miracle as of now to take back the lead so it is a very low probability I'm afraid. Klopp somehow couldn't motivate his players for the championship on the recent weeks and they are paying for it now. It is an unpleasant way to say goodbye for him.

But I'm not saying it like he is bad. He has had really good times with Liverpool over the years. A CL title, a PL title and many more cups added to his achievements.

Arne Slot will surely have a big task to perform after Klopp.  Tongue

When the sports journos start using terms like 'mathematically possible' then you fore sure know that it will take a miracle to get them out of the rut.  It's done.  Liverpool tried and they didn't get it.  I think their last saving grace is to make it a trashing vs the Wolves and get their last win for Klopp at home.  Not sure what the lines are gonna be tho.  Pretty sure it's gonna be sharp.  Even this match vs Tottenham, the books got them at 1.48?  That's a little to much juice.

Arne who?  :/

And yup...  Klopp left a huge void that not even Xavi Alonso, who's had a lot of success lately, is willing to fill.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: May 04, 2024, 12:53:46 PM
according to the latest news circulating in formula one we have some news.

Williams is trying to talk to Adria Newey to try to bring him home after so many years, but they are unlikely to succeed.
Max Vertappen said that he will not go to Mercedes neither for 250 million year if the car will be stuck for 5th 6th position.

Lolol.  Not happening tho I would love to see an old school team make a come back arc.  It would be good not just for the older guys watching this but also for the new guys.  But Newey ain't winning sht without a good team principal like Horner.  So it should be part of the deal if any team wants to hire Newey's services.

As for Verstappen...  I think no team would be willing to take a risk of getting him rn.  Not with the baggage he's carrying called Jos Verstappen.  The guy is somewhat of a control freak.

Anyway, any good leans and picks for this race?
