1361  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bet999.io - The global leader in crypto gambling! on: November 10, 2022, 12:01:27 PM
It was all clickbait and yes we have seen what you did there to lure us around. What edge would a newbie in crypto gambling to call you the global leader in this space after all? To be blunt, the site was just like a copy of other site that I use to see here that opens recently too. So, no you're not.
1362  Economy / Speculation / Re: The most stupid dip in Bitcoin's history - and why we can be happy now on: November 10, 2022, 11:28:32 AM
You are mostly correct but i have few points:
1- I think that 60% of FTX users will go to trade on binance anyway. Its the best alternative. 20% will leave crypto because of being broke, 20% will chose coinbase, bybit etc. In the case where binance buys FTX i guess that not all FTX users would stay. So positive impact of not buying FTX (bigger decentralization) is not as strong as it may seams.
2- top 2 biggest crypto exchange just go bust. users will be left without founds. Its possible that we will see a "bank run" and collapse of other institutes. I have reduced my liquidity on exchanges by half. Many will do the same. Most likely volumes will go down, volatility. It will take years to recover trust. If binance would help FTX we, as industry, would recover much faster - unless FTX would drag the binance to the bottom with it
FTX, Binance its all the same. All of them are not transparent about their reserve assets. With fake volume and market manipulation these exchanges earned millions of dollars but they can not show their full balance sheet to the community. We saw how FTT fall from 22$ to almost 0$. This all happens because of greed and mismanagement. It's time for all those exchange to implement proof of reserve so that same things never happens again.
Maybe it will hit differently this time now that they made headlines? I mean, CZ itself has proposed that crypto exchanges should adopt Merkle-tree proof-of-reserves and not run on fractional reserves, this will really come to fruition. For sure the government will intervene in this issue maybe not this year but next year. Who would save FTX? I wish this didn't come to an end just like the Lehman Brothers.
1363  Economy / Gambling / Re: What else should an established crypto casino add? on: November 09, 2022, 04:55:28 PM
What extra do you expect from a (somewhat established) crypto casino? A few aspects we can think of include:
- More crypto original games. Minesweeper and plinko, so we've heard, are getting trendy. Any more thoughts and would these interest you?
- More cryptos accepted as payment options. We currently support BTC, ETH, EOS, USDT and USDC. More has been requested - but will it make depositing easier for you? And which cryptos should we add, in your opinion?
- Additional features for our chat room?
And feel free to tell us anything else you really want!
* I think minesweeper and plinko isn't new maybe try more unique games.
* Maybe add XRP and TRON on the list as it's more convenient to use these two coins for fast execution of deposit and withdrawals.
* For chat room I think it's best that you add more emojis, the more options a user has the more it's engaging though on the part of just emojis only. Just my suggestion only.
1364  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Importance of not letting others know about your crypto holdings on: November 09, 2022, 12:19:09 PM
So the lesson here is to never tell anyone exact amount you hold. You can inform just one member like your parents or wife about this so that they can recover the funds in case anything happens to you but never tell this information to casual friends or distant relatives.
Or, never tell anything at all that may involve money, trust no one. I even rarely tell my wife how much I own but she's not the persistent one so it's fine for both of us in the end. Not everyone was really happy with what they got, others get jealous or they have others intent bad behind you.
It is never important to let people know your worth of bitcoin,  people always tell the public what they have one wants to show up to let people know they are doing well to have such amount of bitcoin.  I don't see any reason for someone to let friends know the amount of bitcoin  he/she is investing if not to become relevant or to intimidate people. Amount of bitcoin for investment should be kept secrete because some people thinks to have some amount bitcoin it means you are super rich.
I don't really know the context of super-rich but seems that is just the notion we can see in the media these days, more like hype. One thing I'm not really open about it is that even close relatives are asking you to lend them money just because they know how profitable is it in crypto, which is not entirely true at all, especially these days that it is down.

1366  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: betnomi is a scam site on: November 08, 2022, 04:50:26 PM
betnomi.com ask me verify my acc but they default reject my document by 0 second

betnomi.com is a scame site
Says who doesn't read carefully what was the term and what's wrong with your documents. If it has been defaulted early and they explained with you the information why it was rejected then that will resolve and know exactly what's the issue. You don't have to lable them scam just because you have been rejected for the first time nor many times if you aren't the one that abiding on their terms.
1367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It’s time people just fully accept 90% of the NFT space is a rug/slow rug on: November 07, 2022, 09:59:31 PM
If you haven't accepted this and either exited the space or are working on finding the next big project; there is nothing I can do to help you.

Most of the time the utility is party pictures from an exotic island. Cocktails and all.
If we look at how many NFT projects there is right now, I think 10% that it remains not yet rugged are still a huge number, maybe it should be lowered. NFT potential hasn't been discovered yet by many but I can tell as well that there are lot of projects out there that just want to grab that pie of money to the investors.
1368  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: SOCCER TIPS for the Weekend! on: November 07, 2022, 11:44:31 AM
Will you give some weekly tips for the upcoming FIFA World Cup? I think that will be more interesting to have since a lot are expecting to bet in this huge soccer competition in the world, everyone is exciting as well for this. 60% win rate is high I guess to risk a small amount of what I will bet on soccer, I'm more into basketball though.
1369  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have your winnings lured someone into gambling ? on: November 05, 2022, 07:51:36 PM
As a gambler we see winning big as success is gambling, do you share and celebrate your winning story with friends ?

Have your winning story or celebration lured someone you know into gambling because he wants to win big like you

                                 OR

Have you ever taught or predicted a game for someone which turn out to be a win,how big was it ?
I think with the likes of just sharing it online on social media platforms but not likely IRL. I think it's the luring to someone since they're commenting on it on how it is done, how it is played and how do I make money out of it. I just state the obvious, "it's just simply a simple gambling".

Code:
https://nmk.world/avalanche-and-shiba-inu-holders-migrating-to-oryen-after-a-100-price-surge-200394/

This is the article in question and yes, this isn't news coming from a crypto news outlet but rather a paid press release as what PX-Z noted. This isn't new in the industry, there are even more projects that could do it alone in a day to paid random sites to make it look like it's trending. They can only pay two sites? Probably low on budget project that just want to grab penny to investors, I'd rather invest it on top market cap coins/tokens rather risking it here.
1371  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Effective strategy to get crypto news. on: November 05, 2022, 12:32:15 PM
I'm following this website too: https://cryptopanic.com/ since it filters a lot of noise regarding news, it may have features that you wanted that may cater your needs. If you want to build something I think you can make this one as a source for inspiration and coinmarketcap as well as others suggested.
1372  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Report: PH ranks 2nd in ‘ownership of cryptocurrency’ on: November 05, 2022, 10:33:10 AM
Ang tanong, ano o anu-anong mga crypto coins/token ba ang hawak ng mga Pinoy? Sa tingin ko almost who answered the survey ay altcoins ang sagot, just my wild guess.
1373  Economy / Gambling / Re: Black Friday fever: do you wait for extra bonuses from casinos? on: November 05, 2022, 05:01:24 AM
Question - are you expecting exclusive promo offerings on the Black Friday?
For sure, but that will depend on the casino you're into since I'm expecting not all casinos won't necessarily join with this frenzy. I just hope my gambling platform will offer much bonus and rewards compare to the others this time around since they did it last year.
1374  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 04, 2022, 08:35:00 PM
But, the really starts when 2nd half starts, it was the Magic patience and determination that keeps them alive and really steps up
to even the game in the last few minutes of the game.
I really like how the Orlando Magic played them last night ang they don't seem to care that their opponent are the depending champion. They managed to execute great play throughout the last minutes and they won the game. GSW was also doing good and they were sinking threes as well but it's not enough since it was the Magic night.
No pressure from this team because they don't have a superstar, I mean they are a young team, and winning against the depending champ makes them confident going forward. Warriors are struggling, they have a serious problem now, this is by far the longest losing streak I witness from this team.
They're by far the worst with the start of the season just like with the Lakers but now we're seeing progress as they beat the defending champion. I think for the Warriors that Green-Poole drama plus that Klay with Booker was just a few to mention that may take a toll on this struggle but they'll bounce back after this. I'm sure with that.
1375  Other / Archival / Re: Bitcoin Obituaries on: November 04, 2022, 05:03:11 PM
Yet people ignore the thing that there are lot of huge companies that recognizing the technology behind it, it's a slowly transition to be adopted so I think we're on the right track if we are having these hate in the space.

It really is almost surprising the few articles came out in 2022, above all due to all the "energy consumption discussion" (bitcoincleanup, European Union PoW ban discussion, etc.). I would almost suspect the site isn't up to date when it comes to new articles.
I think that's the use of the "Submit an Obituary" feature on the site.
1376  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Minimum deposit and minimum withdrawal. on: November 04, 2022, 02:39:38 PM
Someone with a strict budget of gambling with $10, decides to start online gambling after been told by a friend, but on signing up discovers that the minimum deposit accepted is above the amount budgetted for gambling. Does high minimum deposit fees from online casino discourage gamblers who want to stick to a budget and influences them to gamble with bigger amounts? If yes, and that perhaps is a reason behind many other online casinos keeping their minimum deposits as low as $1, Could low minimum deposit be an encouragement for people to come gamble regardless of the money they have to gamble? Does minimum withdrawal encourage players to try again and keep gambling if they don't win up to the minimum withdrawal?
It's not the deposit fees that discourages the gambler, it's about casinos that doesn't pay much attention to be more scalable or on the gambler as well that doesn't research on where to gamble and has lack of education or technicalities to find an alternative. There are plenty of options so that you won't have to pay these hectic fees if you choose to deposit altcoins instead of BTC and ETH alone. If you want to gamble and know the minimum withdrawal required then why gamble that you'll lose it to the minimum withdrawal? It's more of a discouragement I guess.
1377  Economy / Gambling / Re: I won 1500 dollars on a ufc fight + quit gambling on: November 04, 2022, 12:59:39 PM
OP: you said you stopped gambling until 2023. Does it mean that you only take 2 months long break?

I assume gambling is not your main source of income, did you consider stopping gambling at all? The hope and waiting for repeating the success may cost you a lot. I think people who know the taste of win have bigger problems with stopping comparing to people who never won any significant amount.
I presume he's considering it for the rest of the year 2023 as well not just that he resumes when 2023 comes. I think OP got so lucky and not a regular gambler at all that's why he wants to quit, imagine 9k USD isn't that much yet he thinks it's already worth it. Regular gamblers would even quit on five or six digits winnings.
1378  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Im looking For good signals channels on: November 03, 2022, 08:09:17 PM
<snip>
You won't get any here but if there is you'd just be DM'ed with lot of scams, try on telegram you'll get a lot of it but here in forum I'd like you to expect that you won't get any to repeat it. I give you one but this isn't the kind of signals you wanted but way more than that, it's more into learning and maybe you can start your own in the future. This is more legit than what you wanted that you'd be doing nothing then just trade. Here's the link https://intothecryptoverse.com/ or monitor this thread since some users give analysis here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178336.0
1379  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul VS Anderson Silva October 29th on: November 03, 2022, 05:26:39 PM
https://www.youtube.com/shorts/XojfP0k72c8

Would gladly read some comment on this video. What is this? Fake ? Weird angle? Touch of death? Give me your best comments guys. I know that one proper punch switches persons legs off. You dont have to be super strong to knock person down. You just need proper speed and hit in a proper spot in jaw. But this refers to regular people. Silva is a professional fighter with 25+ years experience.
That is a good catch from the other angle and looking at that angle, the punch barely hit Silva but in this video: https://youtu.be/DHfjQk6D-Fg?t=20,  we can clearly see that the punch hit Silva and it is strong enough to make silva fall.  That video isn't good enough proof but I do agree that the fight is somehow rigged.  We can observe that Silva isn't his usual self, and Silva looks like a boxer who doesn't want to throw punched especially on the 1st round.

An opposite angle screenshot of that looks like a missed punch that score a KO .

Well, that was convincing but this different angle really made a land on that face so I don't think it was rigged at all, but we really never know. Knockout or not they are still having that fantastic paycheck after the fight and that wouldn't change.
1380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Optimistic Rollups vs. ZK Rollups on: November 03, 2022, 03:21:05 PM
Yeah it has downside and I'm wondering, if currently the optimistic rollups project like Optimism and Arbitrum are working then comes the ZK Rollups, will they still exist and continue? For me, optimistic rollups is the solution for now then in the future once zk rollups is ready then that will be it's time to showcase the technology.
