1341  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 17, 2022, 10:31:57 AM

snip

Yes, it's possible and there's a rumor of LeBron going to Phoenix Suns which I think may be a good deal for them and to CP3 to be able to play alongside him. I don't think they'll have that chemistry for a trio if KD will be traded there but I doubt if they'll play alongside with each other.
I do not know if this setup will be successful. First, instead of going younger, getting Lebron together with CP3 gets the team age older. CP3 and Lebron are now getting injuries prone so that will leave Durant playing most of the time. This team composition is good for the tickets but will not win a championship. And what will happen to Booker and Ayton? I think the Suns are building their future on them which I think is better than getting old Lebron and Durant on the team.
It's not Durant and LeBron on the same team to the Suns but only LeBron is what I mean. I don't recall LeBron was that a liability now to the Lakers, the man is averaging 24.9 this season already. Maybe he age but that doesn't mean he's that weak already, we can still see him to be stronger until Bronny gets to the NBA.
1342  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Future Trading Liquidated on: November 16, 2022, 09:12:24 PM
                FUTURE TRADING LIQUIDATION
My worst crypto experience is to trading on Future Trade, I trading on future platform as a daily or two to three days trading position, before exit point position, I always find it difficult to make 10% profits, but rather, I always be on the lost side of -40% lost or more, which required me to stay in position 2-3 days or more before the correction of the candle stake to form towards my direction predicted to make  a little gain, and sometimes i will be liquidated from the market.
If you wanted to take profit at 10% then you should have stop loss at 10% too and not more than that. You can prolong that position in any given time but you should have a target or a plan always when you are trading. Don't say it was the worst, take it as a lesson instead and don't over leverage just my advice.
1343  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Black Friday Online Casino Bonuses 2022 on: November 16, 2022, 08:27:11 PM
It's that time of the year where business get ready to do the Black Friday deals with their product and services. Online casinos are not left out too. on Friday, Nov 26th, which is Black Friday, most casinos will offer he match bonuses, some signup bonuses, free chips, and of course free spins. So if you happen to be someone who wants to get the most value for your deposits and wagers, the 26th of November could be the day that you’ve been waiting for. Suppose your favorite online casinos don't offer any Black Friday bonuses, would you try other casinos that do or stay loyal to them?
I think I'd spend it on items that we are needed the most this time rather than deposit it on a casino, it's still gambling compare to put it on a shopping cart that may have use cases. I think most casino will try to offer Black Friday bonuses since it only happens a year and that's the only way they can engage to offer rewards to their community.

There are a lot of rumors surrouding Durant, there are even some rumors if him going to the Lakers in a trade with AD. But still, he seems to be enjoying his Nets stint without Kyrie at the side.
wow, is this a possibility? I confess I was totally out of touch lol

Hmm, I don't know, AD is a fundamental player (even though he's not in his prime)
If he is traded, the Lakers won't have a big player like him, after all who can replace him?

Although Durant and LeBron could make a nice duo (or even a trio with Westbrook lol)

I also don't know how Durant could fit into the Lakers, the team already has LeBron James, although, Durant could play (SF) and LeBron James (PF), it could be an opportunity

We shouldn't trust our money to these sociopaths. Just read the news reminder at the top that was written by theymos, there's nothing nice that's do than that right now. I wish he'll be convicted over that mismanagement as well as his team.
1346  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: November 16, 2022, 11:56:47 AM
Any predictions guys on who'll be the top scorer in this World Cup? Ronaldo, Mbappe, Pedro, Lukaku, Depay, Messi? Who would you bet to be the top scorer in this upcoming World Cup? I'm rooting for Neymar or Ronaldo but the latter isn't that bad too.
Because of the problems he is facing, which I am sure will impair his performance for his country Portugal, I don't include Ronaldo among the best scorers of the World Cup.
Messi and Mbappe are my picks based on their league form, as well as how important both of them are to their national teams. Messi is a very talented player with experience who will be able to turn things around for his country, and Mbappe too will be among this world cup's top scorers.
Maybe for now but we may never know when the World Cup starts. The names that I list as I think will be one of the top scorers for sure but will there be another name that steal that spotlight? I don't know, World Cup has full of surprises and even now it's just exhilarating to anticipate the event this 20th, only a few more days from now.
1347  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Not Quitting only a break on: November 15, 2022, 04:27:50 PM
Gambling is a habit so difficult to stop
We have a notion that it is, but it will not be that too difficult if we put our mind to not gamble when we're in urgency not to. There are many ways you can selflessly do it but that's on your resolve if you put your heart in it.

You might be right OP it isn't really quitting but a simple break.
A simple break with lot of stuff happens during that time may lead to another full blown one if not moderated. I think having thing that reminds you to break, when to play again etc., is a nice thing to have rather than just says you're gonna break or you're quitting from it.

1349  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Can Be Done To Reduce Gambling Related Issues Like Suicide etc? on: November 14, 2022, 03:57:13 PM
Now I do not know if this ban on gambling ads was or has been unforced in the UK, but my question now is,
\if the UK goes ahead to enforce the ban on gambling ads in the country, you think this will reduce the number of suicides, and other gambling related problems in the country?
\Do you think banning gambling ads is a good measure for the entire government of the world should enforce? will this really stop people from gambling?
\In your own opinion, what measures do you think is appropriate to take that will help reduce the issues, gambling related problems cause in our society?
I'd say it will be mitigated, yes. It will be a gradual process but I think UK is on the right direction to reduce that number. I think a data showing it may have lessen it will be a great piece to be shared in this thread. Banning ads is just one factor, there are lot of factors that may contribute to people being addicted in gambling, it doesn't mean banning it will stop people over it. Total ban on all gambling games I'd say or make it regulated and impose huge taxes on all gambling firms.
1350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is "Solana" Will be the Next to get Killed.. on: November 12, 2022, 09:12:49 PM
solana is losing 50% of its value and even more but I think it's still have the chance of recovery, I don't think solana will get killed and become in a bad state as bad as luna since it's definitely different case with luna, but there's definitely higher chance for solana becoming like luna than the other coin since it's the ones that got impacted so heavily this time around.
but then again, the coin itself is fine, even tho there are quite many people that considers solana as bad investments considering so many bad news revolving around this coin, it wouldn't just lose its market capitalization that easily.
The FUD was regarding the probability that Alameda and FTX has lot of bags to dump onto retail but imagine after that? There are lot of devs and it has strong support from the community, it will just a no-brainer if you can catch that dump. They had just partnered with Google Cloud recently and it's still one of the largest chain in the crypto space tbh. Bear market and that FTX bankruptcy will end but I think Solana's technology will remain and continue.
1351  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Union Bank - Sinimulan na ang Bitcoin at Ethereum Trading on: November 12, 2022, 08:33:53 PM
I love this if it happens , having Wallet from a Bank ?  to provide for our crypto assets specially Bitcoin and Ethereum?
maybe there are lots to come dahil Union Bank ang isa sa pinaka crypto friendly bank sa Pinas.
1352  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto exchange wars going on... FTX vs Binance on: November 12, 2022, 08:07:10 PM
This is the inner circle of SBF:
https://twitter.com/davedoestrading/status/1591139389182464000?t=urhZvyESBDQGzz5RotlEJQ&s=19

What a shitshow if I'm to be asked, all this time these people are hiding in plain sight, good thing I haven't interacted with this exchange ever.

Binance did the right things to expose FTX. Just think what if FTX was as big as binance and exposed like it did recently. It would have affected whole industry in such a way that many people leave crypto forever. Investors should understand that as long as your funds security is in someone elses hands it's not secure. Other will not taken care your assets as good as you do.
Well, it's a competition and as what others have said it wouldn't have been good if Binance had monopolize it by acquiring FTX too, they did a good thing over that. That is why there are a lot of articles saying to get out your funds on an exchange, it's best to keep it on your personal wallet/cold storage.
1353  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Proof of Reserves by the Gambling sites on: November 12, 2022, 02:05:17 PM
In the recent FTX crisis, CZ and others are emphasizing that exchanges should show the proof of reserves by the exchanges. People will only deposit and trade on exchanges who can show the proof of reserves.
That means doxxing what they really have and that they are liquid, I think it should include publicly on what are there addresses it is held, so people can watch it closely. I think people has freedom to choose where they can deposit it but for me I think decentralized exchanges are still the best in this stance even if proof of reserve is present.

Although no one is talking about the gambling site but should we demand from the gambling houses too to show their proof of reserves. In this case gamblers can be sure that if some day they win big, the gambling site will have enough funds to pay them out. I think it will be a good indicator to select the gambling site who have made their proof of reserves public.
This might be off topic but showing proof of reserve for gambling doesn't mean they'll pay huge wins to users unless they do the KYC stuff. I'd say it put trust there but to what extent?
1354  Economy / Speculation / Re: Predictions, predictions, predictions... on: November 12, 2022, 12:29:20 PM
Just seen this tweet from twitter today and it couldn't be more exciting to watch on how it will play. Will it mark to the -80%+ or -90%+ just like in the past or that -77% is enough to stack for the next bull run?

The "Bitcoin is dead" narrative will always show up at times like this and as always once most are fearful in the market, that's the time to buy.
1355  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Does Gambling/Casino Ads Help An Addicted Gambler Who Wants To Stop Gambling on: November 12, 2022, 10:34:39 AM
would this Ads lure the gambler back into gambling notwithstanding that he or she is trying to stop ?
This is totally subjective to the individual but likely it's leaning towards the path of getting addicted again if I'll be asked since it stimulates the curiosity again to try even a little.

If this continues to happen again and again, do you think such a person will ever leave such a habit?
For me no, most of the advertisement these days lure you to the very end and it will really hook you to whole new level. It's for those who has great resolve that will likely pass this test not to be lured again in gambling.

And another question is, if you are addicted to gambling and wants to quit but discovers that seeing gambling Ads on the internet is one of the triggers that lures you into gambling again, is it possible for you to stay away from the internet until you are sure you've completely healed from that addiction?
Possibilities are endless, I'd suggest to consult on experts regarding this matter since they are the one that can advice the patient to total rehabilitation. A person that is addicted should seek help.
1356  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I talked with very smart person he told me about crypto people need to know on: November 11, 2022, 02:41:10 PM
I trust all my money to binance more then banks when there IS economy problems and bank runs that banks closing down but it can never happening with binance.
What have you smoked lately OP? Well, it's your choice but neither of the two is trustable tbh. You would never know with a centralized exchange to not run for that, as far as I know, the said exchange doesn't even know where it is based. Not your keys, not your money.
1357  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who are those people that you don't want them to know you are a gambler on: November 11, 2022, 11:16:07 AM
Some gamblers keep their gambling activities secrete from people they have close relationship with. Having it in mind that if these people know they are gamblers,it might bring down their reputation or make them look wasteful. I hide my gambling activities from my Mom the reason is that she hates gamblers and calls them irresponsible people from her own perspective.

Are you such gambler ?
Who are these people you hide your gambling activities from ?
Give a reason why you don't want them to know you are a gambler.
I think my wife and my mother since they are against it, they always say that if you have bought or invest it on stuffs we really needed then it's much more good rather than gamble it with uncertainty. I'm not really that a gambler but something really is not right when you feel lost and you have those regrets much more if your wife finds it out and get a good talking.
That is why people should gamble only with money they can afford to lose and that won't be missed by the gambler later. If you have to repair something in your house or acquire a new furniture, of course you should use your money for those purposes instead of gambling, because life quality and comfort come first, but there isn't any problem if after spending on what your family is lacking you use some spare money to gamble just to have some fun. After all, everyone deserves to have their personal and private relaxing moment doing what they enjoy sometimes.
Of course and I never will use those money even if it's mean for the short term convenience in gambling, it's a no-no. When I gamble it's totally just for the leisure and the way to pass the time since I'm that exhausted on my current job even if it's remotely. The diaper and the formula milk will always be the priority first since we have a newborn.

1360  Economy / Speculation / Re: The most stupid dip in Bitcoin's history - and why we can be happy now on: November 10, 2022, 03:04:22 PM
I hope that happens really and wasn't only a "marketing gag" by CZ. Exchanges without solid trust-building mechanisms should be ignored by the users. Learn - or close.
Yeah, my bad. It's still in speculation but as of the moment they likely are committed to the community as they gave an update regarding on what coins are in their balance sheet.

The fact that FTX rise into the crypto space, it's really hard to imagine, but I guess they managed to have that trust-building mechanism from years they operated. The CEO was sponsoring huge stuffs but we may never know if it all comes from the users fund from the exchange. If this one failed in the course of the week, then I'd say a further capitulation wick is imminent.
