1141  Economy / Speculation / Re: THESE MARKETS on: December 19, 2013, 11:11:48 PM
I bought at 485 yesterday, then sold at 550 - I noticed a lot of dumps in the the top 500s.

Annoying to find the price had gone past 600 and was rising when I woke up - So Bought back in, around 675 at the time it looked like it would keep going.

So I expect a crash tonight!  Sad

Adding to the splurge of doge diarrhea already here, but it's gonna pump.

I hereby claim my 1,000 free doge for starting another doge thread

Those tickets were for 5 separate issues that appeared after each other over a 3 day span. I had to start a new ticket with a detailed explanation As new problems arose. Luckily the user mullick saw my posts here and took care of my problems. I would reccomend anyone having issues to PM him.

I know they are having growing pains. But having to wait 2-3 days for a withdrawal to go through can cost you a lot of money in this kind of market.

Mullick is a good guy, and was always helpful on the forum at Cryptsy.

I'm not surprised he helped you out.

If Mullick is still around, then hopefully all hope for the site is not lost.
1145  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: (Warning) Whats going on with cryptsy.com every one is losing there coins on: December 19, 2013, 12:04:30 AM

1146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency - many coin - wow - v1.1 Released on: December 18, 2013, 11:55:29 PM
doge coin, the ultimate "doh" if ever there was one

Get the coin promoted by the masses, get it in on Cryptsy to sell to the masses

What could possibly go wrong?

lol

Although, is the dev for doge called Big Vern?
1147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DOGECOIN NOW ON Cryptsy! YAYYYY on: December 18, 2013, 11:41:39 PM
10 Doges sold for 0.1 BTC - Just wow!  Shocked

lol, well sadly the seller, unless it is Vern, is unlikely to ever see that 0.1 BTC.
1148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DOGECOIN NOW ON Cryptsy! YAYYYY on: December 18, 2013, 11:07:22 PM
Don't go and buy doge at cryptsy.

They have no money to pay withdrawals.

It's a disaster.

I can only ***guess at why Big Vern is adding coins to an exchange that will not process withdrawals.

1149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BUYING RIPPLE XRP - Buying 500 XRP for 0.02 BTC - Help me get funded! on: December 18, 2013, 10:25:10 PM
I've not used Ripple for months, but you normally you initially fund your account via Bitstamp. Send BTC to Bitstamp. Buy XRP. Send XRP to Ripple wallet (you will have to trust Bitstamp for the appropriate amount at the Ripple website).

or failing all that, go on ebay and buy one of those XRP starter packs. You can pay by paypal.

Turning on the OP is pointless. Cryptsy is in trouble, and if people think they only handed out 60 BTC (then worth $60k) they are wrong. The Cryptsy forum was littered with posts about people with negative balances (have been allowed to spend twice). Many of the posts seem to have disappeared. This forum has posts saying similar. BTC-e Troll Box has people claiming the same.

I just managed to double spend again this morning on one of my accounts (I have another account with minus 10 LTCs). I put an order in, the order was accepted. But the coins stayed in my balance. I made the same order again, and left things. Five minutes later both orders execute.

My balance looks fine, yet I know it is not. So I tested with the self-audit, and sure enough I suddenly had a negative (which I subsequently paid off).

So I could have, assuming the withdrawal is working (it is not actually (lol)), taken Cryptsy money and transferred it out.

How many people have done this? Given all the lag crap, I'm sure we're talking about a hell of lot of Cryptsy money leaving the exchange by mistake.

Will buy at 0.008 for 10,000

1,000,000 (million) at 0.08
Not understand?
10,000LOT ----> 0.008 BTC
100,000LOT ----> 0.08 BTC
1,000,000  ----> 0.8 BT

He made a typo.  he forgot to put a 3rd 0. making it .0008 per 10k.

well spotted, although I have a "0" that sticks

(as well as many others on my shitty compaq)

1155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: cryptocoincharts.info - your new charting website on: December 17, 2013, 10:24:36 PM
Can I ask how you link to the charts to show on your webpage?

Complete amateur question, I know. But I wanted to do something that linked to buy and sell walls:

http://xrp.webr3.org/

(you get the idea).

Is there complicated programming?

hm i dont know exactly what you mean. you want to show the orderbook on your website?
i am working on some webmaster tools but they will need quite some time to come:
http://www.cryptocoincharts.info/v2/tools/webmaster

Yeah, something like that, or better.

Anything really, I have a litecoin domain name that I want to use, but have no firm plan about how to use it. I don't want it to gather dust. So I considered putting a chart on there because I thought that it would be uncomplicated. But apparretly it's not that easy if you want something big and live.

I'll think of something, maybe make a few links to mining sites, to a LTC forum or any other necessary litecoin information (I can figure out how to use a LTC ticker).

The url is litecoin.gl

The GL extension is Greenland, where they don't sell many litecoin - but I got a kick out of registering it (the only other TLD available for litecoin is .as).

Maybe I'll ask the guys over at the LTC forum if they think there is anything useful I could use it for (to promote the coin, of course)

PS: Good work with your website - it looks really sleek and modern and is a great resource
1156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ZenithCoin- What ever happened to that coin? on: December 17, 2013, 10:09:56 PM
What ever happened to Zenithcoin?  I still have some in my wallet, and wondered if there are any websites still accepting it

the dev was supposedly setting up a BTC mining thing with zenithcoin holders being given a stake of the mining profits (I think it is due about now).

I have 5,000 zenithcoin and don't know what to do with them. I tried to sell them but only got low offers.

Have a look at the main site, unless I'm hypomanic today, it appears the dev wants to sell 5,000 at 35 BTC!§!

"An error has occurred in your purchase, please try again."

I get this over and over again.

Are any trades actually being done?

1160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: List of all cryptocoins on: December 16, 2013, 10:32:22 PM
Why think doge is a joke? It is far from a joke. There has been a concerted effort to play it up as just a laugh in order to make money.

Fair enough, but that so many people cannot see the cynical mind behind it, the multiple willing shills and naive shills calling for people to have a laugh and buy it, is really staggering.
