1721  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In times of turmoil, is Bitcoin really a safe-haven asset? on: March 29, 2020, 11:54:14 PM
I think BTCitcoin needs more time to demonstrate its full potential. This is a chaotic time Coronavirus has shaken many economies. We should only expect the cryptographic market behavior in the following days. The time we are living is atypical.
1722  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a Store of Value on: March 29, 2020, 11:36:51 PM
Store of Value. It is literally my way of receiving income since it is my means of payment. Only my bank account is used for my grocery purchases and bill payments. All my money is distributed in my digital assets.
Thanks for this post because it is useful for the community from my point of view.
1723  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Now is a good time on: March 29, 2020, 11:20:17 PM
Currently, I do promotion for blockchain-based startups in social media.
But for BTCitcoin exclusively I have ideas to make infographics that explain how it works and how to use it.
Also, I can explain the products (wallets, platforms, etc.) that I use to manage Bitcoin and my other digital assets so that those newbies to crypto can learn how to use them safely and efficiently.
1724  Economy / Speculation / Re: Guys avoid panic sell... on: March 29, 2020, 10:48:26 PM
Now the situation is very critical so health must prevail. We must keep ourselves safe, let us pray to God to receive the good news that the Covid19 pandemic ends. BTCitcoin has great potential and a good future. Although the price of Bitcoin is falling.
The community is waiting for this bad weather to pass in order to continue building its ecosystem.
1725  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people here would choose bitcoin as their form of payment? on: March 29, 2020, 10:23:32 PM
I would accept to receive payments in BTCitcoin 50% and 50% USD. Only in the present moment because there is a lot of instability. We have already learned to live with its volatility, but at present, trade is unpredictable. But I still believe in Bitcoin and I wish we have good news soon so I can see market opportunities grow again.
1726  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How is Bitcoin useful as a currency if so few services accept it? on: March 29, 2020, 09:52:20 PM
For my daily needs, I have seen the utility of BTCitcoin in the following way.
I do remote jobs and receive payments in Bitcoin and cryptos.
After receiving my payment, only a small amount is used for my grocery shopping and bill payment. I exchange this small amount on PeertoPeer platforms (Cryptoway and others) for my local currency and receive a bank transfer.
I have recently discovered another platform where I can recharge my phone and internet service (Bitrefill). I am going to try it. And with that, I am already waiting for the massive adoption.
1727  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is why I sold my 0.67 BTC!! on: March 29, 2020, 09:32:20 PM
All my prayers are for all those who suffer from Covid19. God allow us to get rid of him soon. Please keep the protocol to be safe. The important thing right now is global health. BTCitcoin is powerful and immune! You can keep buying it and treasure it again. God take care of the great nation of the USA.
1728  Economy / Economics / Re: Chinese Strategy? on: March 29, 2020, 10:16:54 AM
It sounds strange to me that China has confirmed 81394 infected people and 74971 people have recovered from the Coronavirus. While the rest of humanity fights so that the virus does not spread in their nation. China recently celebrated that it is virus free. And the country in the worst situation is the United States because Trump did not act correctly from the beginning. Today I casually heard about this Chinese conspiracy that possibly created this Virus.
1729  Economy / Economics / Re: Are we heading towards Recession? on: March 29, 2020, 09:41:06 AM
The Coronavirus will be affecting the global economy. We don't know how much damage can be. The virus has not yet been controlled and now the USA has the highest number of infected people. The measures to control the virus have not been the best. While the most developed nations are affected by the pandemic, the economic collapse is evident. However, at this point what matters most is to regain public health and find the antidote against Covid19. Then we will have the opportunity to give our best effort to lift the economy.
1730  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We are having the difficult time, are you still a Bitcoin HODL? on: March 29, 2020, 09:15:11 AM
I also think that people are holding their BTCitcoin. I hold my coins as much as possible. The time we are living is totally difficult. The Coronavirus is out of control and we must be careful. We do not know what will happen in the next few days. Bitcoin could have risen in price but it did not.
1731  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum very volatile on: March 28, 2020, 09:05:17 AM
You are right! Ethereum is very volatile, I had hope when the price reaches to more than $200. But after, it changed and the behavior of the market returned to the downside and if we add the problem of Coronavirus. We will have difficult times to reach recovery in the market and the entire economy.
1732  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A Very Important Advice for Devs on: March 28, 2020, 08:45:26 AM
I didn't know that Hotbit was listed as a harmful exchange. I had already heard about the other exchanges with bad reputation and low liquidity. It is difficult for new projects to execute a successful token sale and now with the Coronavirus, the market is even more uncertain.
1733  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Does Bitcoin Have Value? on: March 28, 2020, 07:47:30 AM
'scarcity and utility', 'proof of work', 'speculation', 'manipulation', 'price'.
All these characteristics are related to BTCitcoin but for a person like me. I'm not looking to fill my bags, Only I want to earn a decent income from my work.
Awesome, it's the great value that Bitcoin has for me. Bitcoin can empower the economy of many from individuals to the largest industry.
1734  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin was never meant to be a hedge against a Global Pandemic on: March 28, 2020, 07:01:11 AM
Bitcoin will continue on its way toward what it is meant to achieve.

That is totally correct! We have struggled a lot and continue to do so to make Bitcoin accepted by more people around the world. The Coronavirus issue is a delicate one and once science finds the cure for the virus we will return to normal and restore the economy that Covid19 will undoubtedly affect.
1735  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do Holders actually bought BTC during the crash? on: March 28, 2020, 06:54:01 AM
The BTCitcoin community is used to this crash as well as the best advantage of opportunities. The chart shows the behavior of Bitcoin that is hopeful we all hope to see a rerun to 10K. Bitcoin is so strong and I had never imagined seeing it collapse like some who panicked.
1736  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gold quickly becoming more scarce. Which will be worth more, Bitcoin or Gold? on: March 28, 2020, 06:20:02 AM
BTCitcoin should gain more value by 2021 and more adoption. We have evolved by making growing Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. Although the Coronavirus is a horror to humanity, it has sparked many people the interest of using it as a means of payment, it is also being used to raise donations to fight the virus.
1737  Economy / Economics / Re: Coronavirus is very harmful to fiat currencies, not bitcoin on: March 28, 2020, 06:10:46 AM
Of course, the current scenario is very bad for Fiat currencies and also affects BTCitcoin and cryptocurrencies. Because we use both assets in everyday life and we are all being affected by the Coronavirus. Probably Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies win a space of acceptance to contribute to the recovery of the economy and I really wish it for our community.
1738  Economy / Economics / Re: a disease or a virus or is there business in it? on: March 28, 2020, 05:53:58 AM
There is a chance that scientists will find a vaccine, but it is predicted that it will take about 6 to 12 months, the virus quickly adapts and mutates. If we talk about the elements of business - now speculation has begun on the background of the coronavirus. A simple example is masks. In pharmacies, they are difficult to get, but you can order on Aliexpress 3-4 times more expensive than the market value.

In our country, the government is wanting to launch clinical trials for the vaccine.

This might be a long time before we can see the real vaccine that will fight this virus. A lot of health institutions are racing to formulate this vaccine, some even are helping each other. It is said that almost 41 research groups and pharmaceutical companies are working for the vaccine, I just hope that they could quickly discover that vaccine for the good of the world.

This is good and hopeful news. I also want the tests to give positive results among patients and to get rid of the Covid19 pandemic. The Philippines is recognized for having good epidemiologists and the article points to the collaboration of the most important world-class pharmaceutical laboratories.
Thanks for sharing!
1739  Economy / Economics / Re: a disease or a virus or is there business in it? on: March 28, 2020, 05:44:29 AM
At no time have I've thought that the vaccine or the antidote has a business interest. I think that scientists have not been able to find the vaccine to prevent the virus from spreading further.
It is amazing to see the number of people affected and dead as well as the decline of the economy that we will suffer.
Control of the Coronavirus got out of hand for China and they could not prevent the spread. The rulers of the world did not take the necessary precautions to control it because they were more interested in the value of their stock market actions than humanity.
1740  Economy / Economics / Re: Corona has killed economy of many businesses on: March 27, 2020, 09:26:34 AM
I also think that Coronavirus is a threat and we are stagnant. Sadly we will see the economy fall but we cannot lose faith. We must be strong and fight only God has the power to save humanity. The vaccine will be available as soon as possible and we must give our best contribution Stay at home and wait.
Some countries have given compensation to their population. The government of my country has offered help in providing food but I haven't received it.
