921  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People still don't know about Bitcoin on: December 04, 2020, 11:57:53 PM
The main reason why people do not know about Bitcoin is that they have not received the simple and clear information about this technology. Since Bitcoin is decentralized, governments have not been interested in aligning itself with Bitcoin. But it will be a matter of time for more people to know about Bitcoin from 2021. Let's see what technologies have been working on and what products and applications they will offer us after the noise that Bitcoin made in 2020.
922  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New troll narrative, "Running a full node will make you a criminal" on: December 04, 2020, 08:04:29 PM

And who is this guy?
I feel sorry for his followers if he has any who follow him undoubtedly. He is sending the wrong message to them which is not good for them.

In this era of social media everyone thinks that they are something, and they know everything, they always fake. To get attention they do not even mind recording the dead body of their girlfriend in an accidental death.

@Wind_FURY, do you have the link of the tweet?

Edit: I spent last 10 to 15 minutes to find the tweet but it's not there: https://twitter.com/rohangrey/with_replies
Please post me the link if anyone has.

This is a tweet from Pierre Rochard a Bitcoin advocate in response to Rohan Grey's comment.

That comment sparked controversy in the crypto community on Twitter. In response the creator of Uniswap also commented. It is appropriate to know how those who support the laws think.

Rohan Gray recently posted this tweet.

923  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: will all countries accept crypto as currency? on: December 04, 2020, 06:46:22 PM
In my country Venezuela cryptocurrencies are accepted.
In fact, the government has a website to receive cryptocurrencies and then users receive the value in local currency to finally deposit it in the bank.

https://remesas.patria.org.ve/es/login

We have other ways of trading cryptocurrencies with our local currency, which makes us free to choose the most convenient method.
The sad thing in my country that not all cities have an efficient internet service.
Hopefully, after this pandemic they improve the services, the interested parties educate people so that everyone can make use of cryptocurrencies.
924  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Almost 20% of Paypal Users Trade Bitcoin Using the App on: December 04, 2020, 01:54:03 PM
Talking about Bitcoin comes to mind for anyone on the exchange. It is natural for PayPal users to want to exchange bitcoin. I think the use that is being given to the app is positive. Today most of the things we can do from the smartphone. The crypto trade is in demand from the mobile we can check it with all the apps that are creating the exchanges that we know as Binance, KuCoin among others. Good news everyone, e-commerce and crypto will be gaining ground.
925  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your Life After 10 years in Bitcoin... on: December 03, 2020, 11:39:42 PM
I would like to hold my bitcoin for longer but I only have some amount left. Due to the pandemic, the problems that we had in the nation were exacerbated by what most of us said "we are surviving."
Particularly thanks to Bitcoin we have been able to cope with the current crisis.
I would recommend anyone to buy Bitcoin and hold it for as long as possible
926  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pizza Hut accepts bitcoin on: December 03, 2020, 11:14:42 PM
This news makes me very happy because it is happening in my country Venezuela. I am going to share the experience of a user in Venezuela who in turn works for Binance Marketing Latin America.

Among the comments of the clients they said about the use of Bitcoin to pay and the long wait for the confirmation of the transaction. Another client commented that he paid with BUSD and it was very fast.

Regarding the government's actions on the use of cryptocurrencies and if any tax will be applied to their use, I have no information. We are still in the euphoria of the moment. The use of cryptocurrencies in Venezuela is necessary due to its inflation problems.

927  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the biggest threat to Bitcoin? on: December 03, 2020, 09:59:22 PM
Some think that the biggest threat to Bitcoin is governments because of their power to ban it in their nations. Another reason that I think is the ignorance that some have and the fear of investing in Bitcoin.
As we know, Bitcoin lacked development. I am concerned that every day solutions are created where Bitcoin is not looking for a solution to the problems of transaction time, fees and the few incentives for its holders.
928  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins price pump influence bitcoin price Negatively ? on: December 02, 2020, 07:33:50 AM
When Bitcoin falls, altcoins tend to fall as well. But the market responds by slowly raising Bitcoin and the other coins. Fortunately we see a recovery in them. Regarding XRP, it reached its highest peak of US $ 3.40 on January 7, 2018. Since then, the price has remained below $ 1 despite leading the 3rd place in the crypto market.
929  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In my school, Bitcoin is now becoming a subject on: December 02, 2020, 07:08:52 AM
I read about BitIRA. A firm whose mission is to teach about personal finance and have a team of specialists in digital currency. They are convinced that with education people will not be afraid of cyptocurrencies and will enable them to learn to invest in Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. There is an educational program designed for all school levels.

930  Economy / Economics / Re: Is corona virus crisis changing economical equations around the world? on: November 28, 2020, 08:29:38 AM
Covid19 could make a huge impact on the world and should make us change so that we act better now and in the future. With a broken economy, humanity begins to move into this new normal. I would like our leaders to focus on acting to resolve priorities, stay away from corruption and create the best mechanisms to safeguard their citizens and the national heritage.
931  Economy / Economics / Re: this pandemic have made me do research on things i never tought before economy on: November 28, 2020, 08:04:13 AM
Nor do I believe that high taxes can save the economy of some countries.
In this time of pandemic, conditions in each country are different and difficult because each one of them needs to produce and diversify their economy to prevent businesses from going bankrupt.
With the arrival of a vaccine against Covid19, it is a signal to turn on the engines to promote the rescue of the economy and will require plans that encourage the production of all economic sectors.
932  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Conventional Currency on: November 28, 2020, 07:38:53 AM
Imagine living in a country where inflation affects your local currency and you know that you can protect your assets with Bitcoin.
So Bitcoin is better than a conventional currency.
If you want to know how it works buy Bitcoin and hold as if you wanted to save in your bank account. After a while you will be able to see your earnings. In addition to enjoying the benefits of digital technology. Bitcoin is used by users around the world so it is always available anywhere without barriers.
933  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Black Friday Fiat Fail on: November 28, 2020, 07:23:25 AM
This case is recurrent in my city. The congestion of payment systems through debit cards. We have also been affected by the internet service due to a tropical storm and therefore the businesses were unable to process customer payments. The banking system is showing its failures when it collapses the mechanisms they employ to process customer payments.
934  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Growth of bitcoin on: November 28, 2020, 07:10:09 AM
Bitcoin will show its growth in this new stage. Now that more people will have the opportunity to buy it and give it use cases. When people who do not know crypto and experience the difference from traditional banking should give them a positive experience.
So I think that Bitcoin will have a boost in new technological solutions for users.
935  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Spend or HODL Bitcoin during COVID-19? on: November 28, 2020, 06:45:11 AM
I prefer to spend other cryptos and Bitcoin hold as much as possible. The time of Covid19 has been unexpected and difficult but thanks to Bitcoin and crypto they have been the most awaited solution for many.
For what they have allowed to evolve the new and financial systems.
936  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you scared? on: November 27, 2020, 10:49:02 PM
If average people do not know about Bitcoin technology, it is very unlikely that they will not accept payments with Bitcoin.
While if you buy in ecommerce stores and the provider accepts that you pay for your purchases with Bitcoin, this is a profile of people who are more assiduous to accept payments with Bitcoin.
Although I believe that after the most recent advances in Bitcoin and crypto, more businesses will open in our regions that accept crypto in their businesses.
937  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Real purpose of Bitcoin on: November 27, 2020, 10:19:58 PM
Getting rich is a misconception some have when investing in Bitcoin.
What I love about Bitcoin is its essence, so I would not change it for the banking system of my country.
Peer to Peer Transactions.
No intervention from banks.
Store of Value.
Freedom.
If you have a problem at the bank due to a wrong transaction, you must meet a series of requirements for its reversal. This is a problem that I am having recently with my bank. At this time, due to the pandemic, banks work in a limited way.
938  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price 17000$ today on: November 27, 2020, 09:53:34 PM
The price of Bitcoin has started to recover after all. I would be too optimistic if the price reached 20K or 25K again it would be my Christmas present. I think the price of Bitcoin will hit less than 20K by the end of this year.
The price of Bitcoin is influenced by many factors making it unpredictable.

939  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto Lived In London While Working On Bitcoin + proof on: November 27, 2020, 09:18:32 PM
Satoshi has an unknown identity because he wanted it that way. He has been a genius from the get-go while creating Bitcoin. It is still impressive and a mystery to talk about Satoshi today. The reading is still interesting, however I prefer to appreciate the legacy that Satoshi left us and the beginning of the disruption of money.
940  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Proof - The long Hodl on: November 27, 2020, 01:55:37 PM
Although I didn't expect this new Bitcoin ATH to end like this. It would seem that it is a learned pattern who buy Bitcoin to wait for this moment and overturn the price and gain something with it.
Also when the price is close to 20K and the holidays like Thanksgiving and Black Friday are coming. Oh no! it's coming again.
Sometimes it is stressful to see the price of Bitcoin but as it falls, it also increases in price, we can only be patient. By 2021 Bitcoin and crypto will be demonstrating their progress to the community where we all participate.
