What I have heard is that the economy in China is the country that will be better off after Covid19. We should not be alarmed by this uncertain future, what we should do is take advantage of all the resources we have and with hard work we can all get ahead.

1282  Economy / Economics / Re: Bank's loss crypto's gain? on: August 01, 2020, 11:27:02 AM
At this time of coronavirus banking activities are decreased in my country Venezuela. Fortunately, we have already implemented the use of electronic banking and payments to businesses and individuals through mobile payment. Because if we did not have these services, banking would play an almost null role at this time.

The future of banking needs a restoration from now on because crypto is responding to the gap they have left by not offering services fairly.

1283  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: US Presidential Election 2020 on: August 01, 2020, 11:02:44 AM
I found this tweet alarming: Louis DeJoy gave the Republican Party $ 2,000,000 and Trump rewards it by putting him in charge of the post office without his experience, the first action Louis DeJoy did was to cut the delivery service.

You could imagine that this could cause the ballots to not arrive in time for the November 3 elections.

But the Trump campaign adviser says the USA is unprepared for a vote by mail and thus supports the delay of the elections, suggests Trump. In addition to alleging that there is a lot of fraud due to this voting system.

The expectation of knowing the confirmation of the international tennis players who will travel to New York for the USTA’s two-tournament bubble.

It makes us keep our eyes on the statistics of cases of contagion in the USA and especially in New York to know if the conditions can be given to celebrate the event. Although the number of infections has dropped in the big apple, hopefully it will continue that way.

Who's coming to NYC? For Now Djokovic, Nadal and Serena are lined up.

Ten former event champions highlighted the initial fields, led by Serena Williams, Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal. Williams, in particular, is lined up for a busy August.

1286  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Lomachenko vs. Teofimo Lopez Lightweight Unification fight on: July 29, 2020, 08:22:53 PM
Quote
Promoter Bob Arum has informed BoxingScene.com that it is still possible that the Vasiliy Lomachenko-Teofimo López fight could be broadcast live on ESPN.

Arum previously believed his expensive lightweight title unification fight was destined for ESPN Pay-Per-View on October 3, but the 88-year-old promoter is waiting for news from ESPN executives on how they will televise one of the most anticipated fights in the rest of the 2020 boxing calendar.

Lomachenko-Lopez may also be offered on ESPN +, the network's $ 5-a-month streaming service. If Lomachenko-Lopez heads up a pay-per-view program, it would probably cost at least $ 75 to watch in HD.

https://www.boxingscene.com/arum-lomachenko-lopez-air-on-espn-not-necessarily-pay-per-view--150522

For some people, the cost would not be too high to PPV for a stellar fight, the most anticipated and in HD. Therefore, the transmission costs, boxers, technicians and staff it could generate the desired income at this time from Covid19. Only they know how to make it possible.

If the fight was PPV I would ask myself.
How much would it cost me to see some of my favorite events? In addition to being safe at home with my family.

1287  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: July 29, 2020, 06:01:44 AM
since match between La Coruna and Fuenlabrada is postponed due to corona outbreak in Fuenlabrada team, all play-off matches in Segunda are postponed, and it will be interesting how the third team from Segunda will be choosen for next La liga season, they need four matches to play in play-off, and one more between La Coruna and Fuenlabrada before next La liga season, and there is no start date at the moment

Deportivo de la Coruña requests the suspension and cancellation of the season in segunda, the Fuenlabrada with the fact that some of its players tested positive for the coronavirus they have breached the regulations. It is a case that would go to prosecution.

The first debate for the 2020 US presidency. It will take place in Cleveland, Ohio on September 29.
Trump and Biden will have 3 debates before the vote on November 3.

2) Miami on October 15.
3) Nashville on October 22.

Remember that Biden has a national advantage of 15 percentage points.

Trump has lost his popularity due to the way he has handled the fight against Covid19 in the US and to the case of the brutal murder of George Floyd and the USA community said that stopping racism "Black lives matter."

1289  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Las Vegas Casinos are open - end of the Pandemic era. on: July 28, 2020, 05:48:54 PM
As you know, the Governor of Nevada made the decision to close schools and non-essential businesses. These measures include hotels and casinos to prevent the spread of the virus to the population.

I can see that the USA is containing the virus in its own way which sadly have not been successful. The population has not feared the virus and is the reason for the increase in new cases every day.

Other nations of the world have implemented how to build or adapt a hospital for people with Covid19 and cure them. But this decision was made on time or at least before it was too late.

In this most recent article I found about Las Vegas Open Businesses: Resort and Restaurant, reservations are required.

Take a look at the current picture.

1290  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: July 27, 2020, 08:43:47 PM
Are there Kyrie Irving fans out there? let's appreciate this guy's golden heart and care for the other athletes, mainly the WNBA players.
Kyrie Irving commits $1.5M for WNBA players skipping season

Wow, I have read the article and Kyrie Irving has moved me, he is considered one of the best ball handlers in the NBA. Very well said he is a guy with a golden heart! In the NBA there are many concerns such as social justice, playing basketball, etc. Without a doubt there will be players who feel affected, physically and psychologically.
1291  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING ]: Fury vs Wilder III in Las Vegas on 18th July 2020 !!! on: July 27, 2020, 08:07:04 PM
Pay Per View is the best option we have for the industry to continue offering sporting events that can resume in the rest of the year. A possible Covid19 vaccine would be the most awaited by humanity and especially for the USA, which is the nation most hit by the Virus. However boxing has shown its strength in this tough stage, the organizers have been very resourceful and that is very valuable.

1292  Economy / Economics / Re: Yearly >Trendy< Crypto Markets, Is Crypto becoming like Tech Fashion? on: July 25, 2020, 09:15:19 PM
I love DeFi because I see that my Bitcoin has advantages that only a simple Hold, just like my favorite utility token that I can hold and earn dividends, interest and request loans.
There are also projects that offer the use of credit cards loaded with crypto.
It is an experience that I would not exchange for what traditional banking offers me.
1293  Economy / Economics / Re: Economy after COVID-19 on: July 25, 2020, 09:05:29 PM
Apparently the economy will be more digital and it is positive to penetrate more spaces with bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. Definitively, traditional banking needs to implement reforms and adapt to the present.
The covid19 has allowed us to interact in our activities taking into account social distancing. Already the large corporations worldwide are working remotely, which indicates that technological developments will be in search of the digitized world.
1294  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing in Life Insurance using Cryptocurrency on: July 25, 2020, 08:20:13 PM
A life insurance that is based on Blockchain can be useful for our community just now. On the one hand we feel optimistic that we are digitizing the industry to improve services. Because due to the crisis to access these services it would be faster and more efficient with the blockchain implement.
1295  Economy / Economics / Re: Loans in a Bitcoin world on: July 25, 2020, 07:42:35 PM
I have seen that the NEXO platform offers loans at very low interest rates at 5.9% they demonstrate that they are competitive in the global market to reach a loan on your platform you need to approve KYC and deposit in your bitcoin wallet and you can receive the 50% of what you have in the deposit.
OP has mentioned that banks could have bank accounts with less deposits, I think there will be supply and demand for fiat.
1296  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: building a crypto criminal database on: July 25, 2020, 05:18:09 PM
Kim who leads the project has a good argument and he is completely right.

We are seeing that cyber attacks around cryptocurrencies are proliferating, it is time to be forceful to prevent hackers from getting away with it.

He suggests identifying the hackers' wallets and flag them so that they cannot be used.

1297  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do hackers steal huge amounts of bitcoins? on: July 25, 2020, 03:41:40 PM
Once again the vulnerability comes to light, the interesting thing is that the CEOs of the top of the exchanges have joined forces to prevent the hacker from claiming Bitcoin. Attacks are happening very often we must be alert and safe. Fortunately we are noticing that exchanges are reordering security systems.
1298  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Protect Yourself from Fraudulent Bitcoin Giving on: July 25, 2020, 03:00:50 PM
The Twitter case was a bold attack by these ill-intentioned hackers. They discovered a vulnerability and agreed to execute their plan. This is an apprenticeship for the community to be able to recognize that something is wrong and to report abuse.

We also need to improve our security as netizens. It is a priority for developers to build more robust and secure applications on the internet.
1299  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India may again ban cryptocurrency on: July 25, 2020, 01:31:57 PM
It is evident that the Bank of India Reserve (RBI) has great power and will not allow bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies to be legalized.

This new intention is because RBI withdrew from the hearing when the supreme court ruled that it could not prohibit crypto merchants from accessing banking services.

For example, India users on Binance would not be able to access the local market. Sad, this is one of the best services that users can have.

1300  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia legalizing Bitcoin and cryptos but not allowed as payment method? on: July 25, 2020, 04:40:27 AM
Perhaps it is because it is not a definitive project for the reason that cryptocurrencies will not be allowed in Russia as a payment method yet.

I also see that lawmakers are interested in the law allowing Russian companies to issue stablecoins tied to the price of the US dollar. One thing if it is true Russia wants to digitize currencies and it is an interest that is happening in several nations.

Which highlights that the traditional banking system is showing that it needs a restoration to provide an efficient service in finances and in the economy.
