1521  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Halving Clock on: May 09, 2020, 10:11:04 PM
It's impressive that at the end of February predictions were quite close to the most up-to-date ones (although there are differences that cover hours of time). Halving is so close now, it's amazing. According to current predictions, it'll happen during the night, so I'll wake up to the post-halving world rather than observe the moment. FOMO is pushing the price up, but I am worried it might go down even faster later. I remember my previous halving. I did not know much about Bitcoin back then and did not know it was a thing. People were wondering about the impact, some suggested selling BTC 'just in case' while others speculated about the growth. Strangely enough, it's still a matter of debate whether that halving triggered the price growth or not, let alone what'll happen this time.

yeah, big event is in front of us, just some 330 blocks away, it will be in the night between Monday and Tuesday, probably before midnight, but we just have to wait and see

I am also following the explorer. It is well designed! I sincerely wish everyone Happy Halving.
It is my first event and I remain optimistic. It's cool that we keep this thread active to share our expectations.
Of course, I expect the Bitcoin price up.
1522  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think that the price of bitcoin can come down to below? on: May 09, 2020, 09:36:55 PM
Guys, this is my most sincere thought. We must not panic. If Bitcoin has been able to sustain itself in this more critical time due to the coronavirus, halving could not be a negative response. Bitcoin we are all.
Although there is the possibility of seeing the price down.
What if this thought becomes true?

I am in the line of the optimists. Smiley
1523  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I want to buy bitcoins on: May 09, 2020, 08:34:05 PM
Members have answered what I would do if I wanted to buy Bitcoin today. We are not sure what will happen after Halving but we are convinced that we want to hold Bitcoin and buy all the amount that is within our reach.
Try to buy local, Binance is a good option.
1524  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Celebrities Will Have Seat in Poker Tournament for Covid-19 Charity on: May 09, 2020, 03:23:14 AM
Thanks for sharing. This is a good initiative, now more than ever charities must be created to help those most affected by Covid19. It could be exciting to see all the celebrities invited to the event to learn about its development and who is the winner.
I have followed the link and found the source of how it works.

Thanks for sharing these videos. They are fun, I also chose #1 ClassyBeef this image seemed funny to me. While reading the comments I realized that I should see all the videos and choose. I also share the idea that video #4 JugiPelaa is very cool. It is quite clear that happiness is the collection of happy moments.
1526  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is like day trading ? on: May 09, 2020, 02:28:18 AM
With gambling I need strategy, skills and luck. I can have a fun time, I must be very cautious, master my self control and know when to withdraw from the bet. While in trading, the sentiment is cold and calculating, in both we always seek the same goal: to obtain profits but the level of satisfaction is different.
1527  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING ]: Fury vs Wilder III in Las Vegas on 18th July 2020 !!! on: May 09, 2020, 02:15:47 AM
The Fury vs. Wilder rematch in Las Vegas is highly unlikely to occur between November and December. The Coronavirus virus in the USA has not yet lowered the contagion curve. There is also no possibility that the fight will take place behind closed doors. Meanwhile, professional boxing in Britain will return in July with strict measures for the Coronavirus and without spectators.

However when this exciting fight is possible I go to my favorite (Fury).

1529  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sport betting site offering bets on the Covid-19 pandemic. Worst site now. on: May 08, 2020, 11:42:59 PM
While watching a streamer of their gambling bets they showed a site where they had lines for something to do with it. Embarrassed
I was appalled when I saw one of these sportsbetting sites were having odds on the covid19 virus.
I didnt see the details of the bet but it couldnt have been good. Undecided
They should lose their license if they are putting lines up for this as it not a joke or something to bet on.

Can you mention the name of that site which offer betting on covid-19 virus ? Maybe you have told before but i have missed it. I will definitely not play there even if had my account on that site. This is extremely bad act for them as it shows that they only want to collect money no matter how it comes.
If you want to know more about the Online gambling sites that started betting on the Coronavirus, here are some links.

1530  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Vaccine against Covid-19 should be made before sports events will take place? on: May 08, 2020, 10:03:52 PM
The Coronavirus is a reality that we are facing. Medical specialists see the holding of the Olympic Games in 2021 as unavoidable without a Coronavirus vaccine.
As far as we know, scientists are working hard to get an effective vaccine as soon as possible.

As we cannot stop for a long time, the countries that are overcoming the crisis are opening their economies under strict hygiene measures, social distancing, and the use of masks. The return will not be the same, we must be cautious, take care of our health and that of others.
1531  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why there are no Stable coin gambling sites? on: May 08, 2020, 08:54:08 PM
Tether (USDT) is the largest stablecoin of preference for users and with the highest circulation. As some have mentioned there are already Online Casinos that are accepting stablecoins.
Here is a good review of Top Rated USDT Casinos.

1532  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and health 🤕symptoms on: May 08, 2020, 08:12:56 PM
I think we should be aware that excessive and uncontrolled gambling leads to addiction and if we are already addicted we need help to get out of it. It is exciting to see the online casinos with offers, bonuses and with a variety of games to entertain us and give us the opportunity to make a profit.
Games by nature are very addictive, they make us keep our brain focused on the game so it is important that we can decide until here I can play.
1533  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto casinos pros and cons on: May 08, 2020, 07:48:14 PM
Online casinos outperform traditional casinos because there are no limits. We can access them at any time and try our luck in the most exciting games. We do not need to pay tickets, we can take advantage of offers, prizes and bonuses.
We can receive winnings from games instantly on our account.
Privacy plays an important role. We can choose the most convenient online casino from the comfort of our home.
1534  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Takes Place Amidst Pandemic on: May 07, 2020, 09:51:21 AM
By the end of May the country of Nicaragua will be promoting two boxing matches
Fortunately, country has few people infected with Coronavirus. I wish that this nation did not develop more cases of infected people because they have not stopped their activities. So I see positive its prevention measures. I attribute to this case that the country was lucky.
1535  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Many cryptocurrencies — how important is that for you in casinos? on: May 07, 2020, 05:39:30 AM
Bitcoin is my favorite, but lately I choose ETH because the fees are lower when it comes to withdrawing. According to the reviews, I'm considering trying Tron because they have said that the rates are still lower than ETH, and therefore I can Hold both. Casinos by offering these altcoins are looking for better alternatives for their clients.
However I am convinced that Bitcoin will always be the favorite anywhere and the most requested coin.
1536  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which is your favorite gambling game? on: May 07, 2020, 05:16:11 AM
I like Dice and Slots because they are easy and entertaining games. If you are developing a gambling platform I think you should include these classic games and if you bring other more attractive games it would be great. There is a great variety of platforms nowadays and of course there is opportunity for everyone.
The best of luck!
1537  Economy / Gambling / Re: My urge to go to land base casino in this lock down and how I fight it. on: May 07, 2020, 03:52:47 AM
I think that the activities you did to ward off the desire for gambling are the most appropriate and I appreciate that you have shared your experience. Keeping your mind busy and doing something productive fills you with well-being and satisfaction.

With the lockdown I am busier than usual. I must do all the shopping to cover the basic needs of my home.
I'm helping my eleven-year-old nephew with schoolwork and I'm taking the opportunity to teach him how some crypto wallets work. I am seriously thinking of teaching him about crypto the basics.
I am already telling him that when he reaches the age of majority if he want he can dive into the crypto space.

So my desires for gambling have diminished because I have put in the balance what is priority is hard because it produces anxiety but the busy mind makes you forget a little.
1538  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Michael Jordan’s gambling history revisited. on: May 06, 2020, 02:25:59 AM
I love Michael Jordan is a great Legend, he has reached the best titles, he is considered a Superman in basketball. I understand him in his most famous time, while his career is on the rise as any human being, successful young man, he has a hobby he likes to play Blackjack.

1539  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Las Vegas Mayor Wants to Re-open Casinos. Thoughts? on: May 05, 2020, 07:16:35 AM
Reopening casinos in Las Vegas. It will not be the same, there is talk to test the temperature to customers, if there are still travel restrictions. The visit to the casino would be less, social distances and all the elements that the gambling and entertainment rooms have. It is a difficult situation, it is an industry that invests and generates a lot of income. We are honestly caught at a crossroads with the Coronavirus where we have to decide between health or the economy.

1540  Economy / Economics / Re: Internet would become the most expensive commodity in the world. on: May 02, 2020, 10:39:06 PM
Due to the current crisis I can see that the internet is more valuable because the world economy has continued to work from home. For example, Twitter and Google workers are working from home as well as other large companies. As we advance technologically with the development of new devices that need the internet to function, this resource is of vital importance to the economy.
