1021  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin broke $13k today on: October 24, 2020, 11:03:03 PM
Bitcoin is showing its resistance at 13K. This is wonderful news for us. I agree that before the new PayPal announcements, Bitcoin was showing that it would break all barriers. This is a stimulus for the USA, which are the first to benefit from the new PayPal services. Guys, we are delighted with Bitcoin, good time to celebrate.
1022  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Loan to buy Bitcoin? on: October 24, 2020, 10:49:28 PM
It is not uncommon for someone to want to borrow to buy Bitcoin. We know the risk we run when dealing with Bitcoin and crypto. But to meet the demands there are financial solutions such as Nexo, Crypto, Blockchain wallet and others where we can borrow at low interest. We just have to try, according to Nexo we can borrow from $ 10 without having to sell our crypto.

1023  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should we welcome centralized bodies for Bitcoin mainstream on: October 24, 2020, 09:59:59 PM
A Mainstream adoption as PayPal says is definitely coming soon.
I like the fact that consumers on Paypal will be able to instantly convert their cryptocurrency balance into the fiat currency of their choice at no additional fees. Just as merchants will not have any additional fees, transactions will be made with fiat currency and with current PayPal rates.
The step forward by PayPal to digitization was inevitable. The covid19 pandemic has sharpened banking services.
1024  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin co-exist with the current financial system on: October 24, 2020, 08:47:21 AM

Every such transaction will likely be a cheaper and more economic benefit for the party that receives bitcoin. The purchasing power increases over time. And everyone will want to use it. Simple. I do not expect amazon to allow bitcoin. However, I expect bitcoin to be used in other parts of our lives in the next decade

So it is and will be! We are already witnessing it thanks to the desire we have made for Bitcoin to be accepted in our day to day.
I think we will move towards mass adoption if we propose it. Once on a local e-commerce platform, I offered to pay for a phone with Bitcoin and the seller accepted and we proceeded with the transaction.
1025  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paxos will be holding your PayPal's Bitcoin on: October 23, 2020, 09:27:44 PM
Looking at it from the bright side.
Paxos Crypto Brokerage will offer PayPal users the in-app crypto service where the user experience will be easy and intuitive. It is the key for users with no prior knowledge of crypto to quickly learn how to manage their funds.
PayPal users can use the following trading pairs in their crypto wallet: BTC/USD, ETH/USD, BCH/USD, LTC/USD and PAXG/USD

I just wish that Paxos Crypto Brokerage technology additionally provides maximum security to its users.
1026  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your keys, your bitcoin? on: October 23, 2020, 08:17:25 PM
This is one more reason that confirms that we should not keep Bitcoin and crypto on exchanges. "Not your keys, not your coins". The case looks as if the plaintiff was unaware of the latest updates on Bitcoin gold on Coinbase and had to withdraw his coins before the coin received no further support.
1027  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First Terror Attack Related With Bitcoin - INDIA on: October 23, 2020, 07:49:17 PM
It is sad news that we cannot avoid. Bitcoin can be used by terrorists. How can they convert it to Fiat? Because they need the Fiat, I don't think it will be easy for them. Also the most powerful currencies that we know have been used by terrorists to finance their actions. I don't think this will negatively affect Bitcoin to a great extent. Although there will always be someone who points to Bitcoin with these facts.
1028  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Darkside Hackers donating Bitcoins on: October 23, 2020, 06:49:09 PM
I do not believe that these charities can return the bitcoin that this Robin Hood sent.
If the intention of the group of hackers was to extort companies that earn a lot of money and do not share some of their profits with the charities. This is not the best way to act. I also disagree with any illicit activity. Why claim authorship of donations? Another unsuccessful hacker activity, I hope the funds reach those most in need.
1029  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is unique to man. on: October 23, 2020, 08:22:15 AM
The first digital currency that has no human organization or authority to control. This statement is a reality and the reason why Bitcoiners have believed in Bitcoin and have given it a strong support. It is incredible Bitcoin is new compared to the most used currencies around the world and since its creation it has caused a real revolution. And as you say, Bitcoin is showing that it has a bright future.
1030  Other / Archival / Re: Why you should not use Paypal for Bitcoin on: October 23, 2020, 07:32:40 AM
By including Bitcoin, Paypal is expanding its services and its purpose is for the user to have more payment options for their customer list. For us it would be convenient to use it in some cases. It is not the best tool we want because we are used to decentralization, and managing our keys. For a person new to crypto, it may be of interest to buy Bitcoin in Paypal for its ease.
1031  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thinking Bitcoin is Scam on: October 23, 2020, 06:57:28 AM
What most people think about Bitcoin is a very diverse thought. It can be many things such as that people do not know how to use it due to technology and there is a lack of knowledge and disinterest in Bitcoin. The prohibition in some countries but that will be left behind. Paypal is recognized worldwide and will offer its users to obtain Bitcoin in its tool which will mean more users of Bitcoin and crypto.
1032  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Momentum Builds for Bitcoin on: October 23, 2020, 06:14:29 AM
BitPay is a solid product that is advancing, achieving commercial alliances to offer more to its users. BitPay prepaid MasterCard is without a doubt what any crypto enthusiast would like to live in crypto.

I agree that despite the current crisis, Bitcoin has managed to consolidate more around the world. The developers have been able to advance in stages to offer the public their products that will satisfy their needs.
1033  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will you buy BTC from PayPal now that they are letting people do it? on: October 22, 2020, 04:29:51 AM
First of all, thank you for sharing your experience. I have voted Maybe and I will wait and see.
I would be interested to know if we can withdraw the Bitcoin that we buy. For active Paypal users the news could be very positive, they could easily buy Bitcoin and we earn more Bitcoiners for our community. Although I am pleased with the news, I am already used to handling my Bitcoin, I have no interest in changing.
1034  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC Dominance on CoinMarketCap on: October 22, 2020, 03:38:26 AM
Today the dominance of Bitcoin in the market is 61.1%, it has dropped 0.9% according to when this thread was created a few months ago. Perhaps it is due to the growing market of the DeFis but it does not stop surprising us to see the great support that Bitcoin has in the market. Bitcoin for Bitcoiners is a range of possibilities despite its volatility.
1035  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Treasuries on: October 22, 2020, 12:16:26 AM
I've been following Michael Saylor the Founder of Micro Strategy on Twitter and saw his tweet last month. I had the feeling that something very good was coming for Bitcoin and I think we are witnessing it.

Quote
On September 14, 2020, MicroStrategy completed its acquisition of 16,796 additional bitcoins at an aggregate purchase price of $175 million. To date, we have purchased a total of 38,250 bitcoins at an aggregate purchase price of $425 million, inclusive of fees and expenses.

There have been several circumstances that have allowed Bitcoin to show a rise in price for a few days. I believe that Bitcoin is reaching maturity and there will be better performance in the times to come.
1036  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we back to the bull market? on: October 21, 2020, 11:19:35 PM
We broke the 13K and now we go for the 14K. Sounds great is what Bitcoiners have been waiting for a long time.
Bitcoin has disrupted money and will be with us forever no matter what others say.
Guys, enjoy your profits. Bitcoin returned with the price hitting ATH at $ 20,000 as in 2017.
1037  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paypal is doing it on: October 21, 2020, 10:07:05 PM
Today has been a good day for Bitcoin, the market is creating a great demand also it is a trend in the searches for coins in Coingecko. On the news of Paypal accepting Bitcoin, I think it occurred that the price of Bitcoin will increase more than it has been doing for a few days.
This new conquest of Bitcoin makes me think that when using Paypal the payment of commissions could be high and that the purchase and sale price of Bitcoin would be very different. The positive in all this that Bitcoin will be available to Paypal users in 2021.
1038  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has the properties of an employment opportunity on: October 19, 2020, 11:55:47 AM
I also like the Bitcointalk business model because it is where you can launch the best projects in the crypto space.
Although project scams have come out, it has been a situation that should be improved to make bitcointalk the best site for product development in the crypto market.
It is also a site where anyone can create and earn a job opportunity.

We just need to offer our skills. I have also seen that there are people with good skills in graphic design, content creators, campaign managers and more.

Bitcointalk is a good environment, I would recommend it to anyone.
1039  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We don't do it in Bitcoin! on: October 19, 2020, 11:25:31 AM
This is disgusting contraband. I believe that it is unlikely that a passenger will try to evade carrying merchandise introduced into the body at an airport. The authorities will always be able to detect it. In this case, the gold could not come out successfully, it is better to pay the 18% tax than to lose the gold. If we speak in monetary terms, it is better to handle Bitcoin on the other hand, gold in addition to representing value is useful for industry and business. The best thing for gold smugglers is that they pay their taxes.
