1361  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: June 27, 2020, 08:29:28 AM
I think the protocol in these cases is that the infected person remains isolated for 14 days and repeats the test in 5 days. Training at the Disney World Sports Complex will begin on July 11.
Hopefully these athletes can resume training if they are retested, negative for Coronavirus.
As a fan of Nikola Jokic I have followed the latest news about him and they affirm that he is in Serbia he is asymptomatic waiting a week to travel to Denver.
1362  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ POLL ]: Boxing - Anthony Joshua vs Kubrat Pulev on: June 27, 2020, 05:12:51 AM
Joshua vs. Pulev could be the most lucrative boxing event of the year. Organizers are planning to host it at the Royal Albert Hall with 1,000 people willing to pay a hefty sum of money to be there £ 10,000 for each attendee who would generate £ 10,000,000 ($ 17,000,000) for Joshua vs. Kubrat Pulev.

These preparations could be advanced once the UK and London reopen.

It may be soon because the Prime Minister has announced that restaurants and other businesses will reopen as of July 4th.

1363  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING ]: Fury vs Wilder III in Las Vegas on 18th July 2020 !!! on: June 26, 2020, 08:17:26 PM
Fury and Wilder look friendly. It doesn't matter who gets knocked out in this expected fight. I'd also like to see them have a beer together after the fight. The media provide us with more entertainment with a commitment to promoting human values. Now that we are facing difficult times.
1364  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: June 26, 2020, 07:19:53 AM
Vince retires with a successful 22-year career. A superstar who ranked the 10 best dunks in his career.
The pandemic accelerated his retirement and I think he made a very wise decision.
There is too much uncertainty in the NBA. The virus is present anywhere, affecting people very close to them.
1365  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CORONAVIRUS IMPACT ON SPORTS GAMBLING on: June 26, 2020, 06:23:43 AM
We are close to finding the cure for the coronavirus. China has already received the go-ahead for testing its large-scale phase 3 vaccine in the UAE.
Which shows good hope for overcoming this pandemic.
While so many of us must settle for games without fans. Until the final cure arrives.
1366  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: June 24, 2020, 08:36:32 AM
Just an update for Nikola Jokic:
https://sports.yahoo.com/nuggets-star-nikola-jokic-among-players-to-test-positive-for-coronavirus-before-nbas-return-204814692.html

I'll doubt if he will ever play right now for the playoffs with this recent news to him, that's very unfortunate for Denver if Jokic will not play for the season since he is the main factor for the team.
Despite the recent news of the positive cases I remain optimistic that we are going to enjoy the return of the NBA.
I have read the NBA plan that if a player tested positive, he would isolate to retest if he has the same result. If the player is definitely positive for Covid19 he could be out for 14 days.
Nikola Jokic or other players could run with being lucky to heal fast as the virus has been detected in its initial stage.
1367  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: "NEW NORMAL" Betting on: June 24, 2020, 06:36:20 AM
Casinos are the most affected in this pandemic because social distance is an impediment to providing their services in full and are now limited. The Covid19 can be presented even following the strictest controls because a small error could open the door and infect anyone. We can only take advantage of bets on games that can be carried out with a lot of effort today.
1368  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Las Vegas Casinos are open - end of the Pandemic era. on: June 24, 2020, 06:05:54 AM
As of June 26, the Washintong will require the use of face mask in public spaces. IMO, this is a measure that should have been taken from the beginning in the USA.

https://coronavirus.wa.gov/information-for/you-and-your-family/face-masks-or-cloth-face-covering

I hope it is a requirement throughout the USA because the incidence of new cases in this nation is still growing. If you observe in Las Vegas only the personnel of the Casinos wear masks. Take a look at Golden Gate Hotel & Casino in this article, there is a video of the protocols they are using.

https://www.latimes.com/espanol/vida-y-estilo/articulo/2020-06-12/la-extrana-reapertura-de-las-vegas-atrae-multitudes-algunas-enmascaradas-otras-no

For example, in my country, Venezuela, we wear face masks when we leave the house, in supermarkets the staff puts antibacterial gel on our hands and the banks also take our temperature. The use of the facial mask is a norm to enter a commercial establishment.
1369  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: June 24, 2020, 05:06:13 AM
It is unfortunate that these great tennis figures have tested positive at Covid19. The Adria Tour tournament was born with the idea of raising money for those most affected by the coronavirus. The Coronavirus is not a joke, it is a sad reality, they did not follow the protocols, beginning with social distancing.

The coronavirus is treacherous, sometimes people are positive and have no symptoms and we trust that everything is fine and we make the mistakes we are seeing.
1370  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's name and Logo Registered in Spain. on: June 24, 2020, 03:23:17 AM
Bitcoin has gained recognition and has been thanks to the effort of everyone. There is still a long way to go but this step is very valuable and exemplary. I admire the determination of this man in Spain for having trademarked the Bitcoin name and logo and the willingness to defend it and promote its good use.
He has a goal and to make Bitcoin in his business that his clients feel safe doing their operations.
1371  Economy / Economics / Re: Covid-19 effect on your country's economy!!! on: June 21, 2020, 09:56:28 PM
I wish and pray that you guys can set your country on the correct path and get out of this abject poverty and breakdown. I hope we have more people from Venezuela on the forum and bitcoin and the forum is helping you in one way or another.
Thank you! In fact I am waiting for my nephew who came from Brazil because he was working there and now he is in quarantine. He is negative to Covid-19 and is about to return home and I am going to teach him about bitcoin and participate in the forum. We were very concerned because he was living in Manahus in one of the cities hardest hit by Covid-19. Thanks for giving me a merit, blessings!
1372  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: June 21, 2020, 05:26:35 AM
It is clear that the best conditions are not yet being given to resume sports activities in the USA. I was optimistic when the UFC resumed operations in May and thought it might turn out by following strict coronavirus prevention measures. But today it is a sign that the virus cannot be controlled at sporting events in this nation.
1373  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: PAGCOR waiting for the approval to reopen land-based casinos. on: June 21, 2020, 04:51:07 AM
The question is, would the vaccine be cheap or can be attained/purchased by an average earner/ ordinary citizen? I have the doubts

that it wont really be that cheap.Lets hope that i would be wrong into that presumption and what matter most here is that vaccine should really be made asap

There supposed to be. You might want to read the article below that has been published just a few hours ago.

Quote
"There is a clear, clear benefit," he said.

"The treatment is up to 10 days of dexamethasone and it costs about £5 per patient.

"So essentially it costs £35 to save a life.

"This is a drug that is globally available."
https://www.bbc.com/news/health-53061281

This is a great discovery to combat Covid19's disease. Days ago I had thought that the cure for the coronavirus could be from existing medications. Hopefully the countries of the world to consider applying this medical treatment to save more lives. And thus be able to resume economic activities of all countries.

Regarding PAGCOR, CEO Andrea D. Domingo has said that the Casino should reopen this month or in July due to the economic importance of being active again and that 132,000 industry employees depend on it. The government needs money to fight the coronavirus and to be able to buy the vaccine when it becomes available.

1374  Economy / Economics / Re: Saving economy at the cost of what? on: June 20, 2020, 11:47:34 PM
You are totally right. We need at this time to save lives and not expose them. We must follow health controls to prevent the virus from spreading. If we manage to stay healthy, we gain time not to invest them in health centers. We also need to be patient, scientists are working hard to find a cure, but we must wait. Our mission is to follow the norm and use the masks, we take care of ourselves and others.
1375  Economy / Economics / Re: Crisis after the epidemic on: June 20, 2020, 11:38:02 PM
It is an unprecedented crisis for which any forecast is not accurate. We only want to do well to regain global health and then quantify the damage and recover. We must be healthy and strong to take this great challenge with the support of each one of us.
1376  Economy / Economics / Re: What brings economy of a country down. on: June 20, 2020, 11:28:01 PM
Corruption is the worst enemy for a country's economy to go down and not allow them to prosper.
The ability to govern the nation's leaders also plays an important role for nations to achieve the desired progress of those development plans implemented so that citizens achieve a good quality of life.
1377  Economy / Economics / Re: Very strange most people like to buy with bitcoin , but using altcoins very few on: June 20, 2020, 10:17:34 PM
Simply because Bitcoin is better known than any altcoins and stablecoins. Still in my city, businesses do not accept cryptocurrencies, but in Caracas, the capital of my country, Venezuela, in some stores they already accept Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. I use Bitcoin for my local P2P exchanges that is the most frequent use I make of it.
1378  Economy / Economics / Re: Covid-19 effect on your country's economy!!! on: June 20, 2020, 09:34:35 PM
Guys, I have read some of your comments that reflect the reality that you live in their countries of origin. It is hard what we are experiencing worldwide, I feel solidarity with all of you.

I live in Venezuela. If before the coronavirus we were already suffering from hyperinflation due to many factors: corruption, failure to attend to the country's productive sectors, and finally, a sanction imposed by the United States on oil revenues. In my country there are low levels of investment in all sectors, which causes massive unemployment. The basic salary of the Venezuelan and the payment to pensioners and retirees reach $ 4 a month.
Compared to other countries in Venezuela, education and health is free.

Before the virus spread around the world, we were already suffering from so many needs. Now the situation is more precarious, fortunately and thank God the number of infected until today reaches:
Confirmed: 3591
People recovered: 835
Dead: 30

We also use the protocols of rigor such as using masks, antibacterial gel, social distancing.
The government is allowing some economic activities to work 7 days at their medium capacity, and 7 days later not to work to decrease the number of new people infected.

Stay healthy and follow Covid19 prevention protocols. Let's pray to God that we have a cure soon.
1379  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying food or groceries with Bitcoin on: June 20, 2020, 07:19:44 AM
We know how to use Bitcoin and we know its advantages and disadvantages. Sadly Bitcoin has an impediment: the laws. There are governments that do not accept that their citizens use it and the nations that accept it are developing measures to tax for their use. Merchants have not wanted to adopt it because of disinterestedness or do not want to handle complex technologies. There could be many reasons but I have pointed out these for being the ones I know from my country.
1380  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New Covid wave vs Bitcoin on: June 20, 2020, 06:53:38 AM
I do not think the price of Bitcoin will drop. I have a feeling that it will stay between 9K and approaching 10K. It has held its resistance at that level for a month. Although I wish it would increase its price but everything is unpredictable.

A few days ago I thought that the price of Bitcoin has not exceeded 10K because we already have a diversified community, it is no longer just bitcoin, there are altcoins and stablecoins contributing to the ecosystem and they are fighting to gain their ground and their profitability.
